All the donuts are freshly made to order with the donut machine cranking out them out hot in full view of the customer. All the toppings are fresh and either dipped or topped right in front of you. Finally each donut or box of donuts is presented to the customer for approval prior to boxing up. While there hasn't been a donut I haven't liked, the Maple Bacon, Peanut Butter, Oreo Crumble and Blueberry are my favorites. The Maple Bacon especially is incredible. It is topped which a generous amount of crumbled bacon and lightly drizzled with maple syrup, the perfect ratio of bacon and syrup. I also recently tried the Apple Fritter which is a seasonal favorite topped with fresh apples in a sweet syrup filled in the middle. The apples were excellent and perfectly sautéed. The key for this Duck Donuts as well as others continues to be super fresh toppings. This location is consistent with others I've been to. Spotless and well organized. The nice lady did tell me that they use a vanilla batter so the donut texture is a little heavier than your average donut. I'd compare the texture to a cake. Overall this place was amazeballs.
