Food: This is my second visit to this location. The first time I came I ordered a croissant sandwich. It was fresh and tasted really good. Today, I ordered a cappuccino. That was good as well. Service: ordering my sandwich - Lightning fast. Wait wasn't more than 10 minutes and it wasn't busy that day. Today, it was busy with lots of food orders coming in and out. So my cappuccino was overlooked mistakenly and just when I was about to inquire about my order, a female staff member beat me to the punch. My cappuccino was out within two minutes and the male staff member was all "wait wait wait wait wait...a free cookie for you for waiting so long...happy thanksgiving." I was not expecting the cookie and wasn't looking for any kind of comped item. I'm used to breakfast spots being busy and so I figured I'd give them time to make my order. So, just because of the way they handled what for me was a nonissue, they have a loyal customer. Ambiance: clean, bright, airy on the floor ordering side. It looks darker on the dine-in side BUT I can't say for sure because i haven't gone to that side...yet. I have been to different locations of this restaurant but not this one, so I couldn't wait to try. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted. I ordered the turkey sausage with egg on a whole wheat bagel and a caramel macchiato with oat milk. It took about 6 minutes. When it was done, I dug in, and it was good and filling. The caramel macchiato was ok, just a little too sweet. All in all I had a good experience. read more

Absolutely love Manhattan bagel union store! From their manager leo to the staff everyone makes your experience so personal and amazing! We have stopped multiple times and our favorites are avocado veg out and santa fe egg white. The bagels are made fresh, boiled and baked to perfection. Plenty of parking outside and they have indoor and ourdoor sitting. They have catered a few of our gathering and the stafd has ensured everything is taken care of so well! I'm picky when it comes to bagels and breakfast sandwiches, nothing beats a good old, bacon, egg and cheese from the bodega. So far, the bagels I've had in Jersey have been very delicious and this place is no exception. The food is fresh and made to order. Right now I've only done pick up two times but everything has been ready when I arrived and stayed warm until I got home. The prices are reasonable and I signed up for their emails so I tend to get coupons here and there, which helps. It's within a decent driving distance from me and pretty accessible to other areas as well. So far so good! read more

Going there for years, maybe over 20 years. They have very fresh bagels and sandwiches. They are quick, they make things on demand, and they have about a half dozen people working there at any given time. They also have fresh coffee, and it's good. I would recommend anyone in the area to go there to get a breakfast sandwich with coffee (they have other drinks as well) and hashbrowns. They also have individual bagels and homemade cream cheese or regular sandwiches for other parts of the day as well. My favorite regular place for a good breakfast. They have all kinds of vegetarian and fewer calories sandwiches, too. read more

I've been coming to this manhattan bagel over 15 years, and it's getting worse every year. The servers wear gloves and touch everything and then touch food. I watched a server take the garbage out with gloves on and came back to the cooking grill with the same gloves on and make food. I miss the days when they would take the gloves off when they were not handling food and put gloves on to handle food.. instead of using the same gloves for everything. read more

I been purchasing at this place on and for the last 2 years. I would purchase there're everyday if they knew How to cook the eggs. They break the eggs. Then they break the Yolk once the yolk is broken The egg white and egg yolk is cooked in 2 min. 1 minute on each side. Even if you say don't cook the Eggs to much they don't listen. On many occasions I Threw away eggs they cooked to the point of becoming Plastic I did not say anything. Now my wife says write A review. Employees need some education on how to Cook not just place some person that does not give a Shift of what they do. Not nice to charge so much money and they can not cook simple eggs. read more

Surprised this place only has a 3.5. Decided to stop by for breakfast and I ordered the classic lox sandwich on a toasted sesame bun. I thought the amount of cream cheese was very balanced and the smoked salmon paired well with the capers and red onions. My bagel wasn't overly toasted and had the right amount of crunch. My friend really enjoyed his spinach and bacon croissant as well. There is a 15-20 minute wait on weekend mornings, but definitely worth it! read more

While this location is usually busy, they get to all of their customers very quickly. Orders for me have 99% of the time are correct. Only once was my order wrong, but I called the store and they rectified the situation quickly and with no problems whatsoever. The bagels themselves are soft and always taste good, there is always a wide variety of bagels and spreads to choose from as well. The muffins they have are a decent size and taste great! Coming from Brooklyn I know a good bagel when I eat one. The bagels at Manhattan Bagel are not big puffy pillows of dough. They are the proper size and chewiness. I usually order the Everything bagel and it is sublimely seasoned and satisfying. I topped it with veggie cream cheese and a slice of tomato and was in heaven. I drink black coffee, so I know if it's good without dictating it with cream and sugar. The coffee is very good. The selection of bagel and topping flavors were numerous and the service fast and friendly. It's my Sunday morning treat. read more
