California Scramble

I had a nice breakfast here. The restaurant is big and spacious. We were seating right away and our very was very attentive. I ordered the California Scramble and it was great! I would definitely return.

What an exceptional breakfast spot! That omelette was DELICIOUS! Hearty and sizable with fresh sautéed peppers and savory sausage chunks. The hospitality of a hostess right from the door is warm and friendly. The aesthetic decor is modern yet inviting and cozy. My favorite part though was the stellar Turmeric Cafe Latte... so good! Definitely a great atop for good eats.

Lively brunch spot in downtown Crawford. Parking wasn't too hard to find - there's a parking garage right around the corner. This place seems to only take walk ins so be prepared to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The wait staff was accommodating and quick. I got an egg n cheese on a brioche bun which was very filling. The hot latte was also much needed considering it was like 15 degrees outside Overall, a solid brunch spot that I would love to eat at again!

I came here for brunch with my best friend, son and myself. It was our first time there and I must say that the experience was amazing. The waitress, Ms. Megan was very attentive and friendly. The food was nice and hot and delicious. The menu had a lot of selections to choice. I will be back to try other items on the menu

Love this little breakfast spot I always order the bacon, cheddar and broccoli scramble egg with home fries. It's very good although sometimes it can be dry I guess depends on who cooks it. The staff is very friendly and constantly checks on you I never had a problem. The restaurant itself is very modern and minimalist I like it. It looks very clean design wish also parking is easy around the area to find

This is my first time at my local location, which I never even knew was here. I've been to the Red Bank location before & absolutely loved it. A large venue with a bright & modern diner feel in downtown Cranford, so metered street parking is what you get. We had Belgian Waffle, Bella Nutella, Crab Hash, Gourmet Grilled Cheese, and a side of Maple Bacon & Breakfast potatoes. Food was better than most, & I remembered once I started eating that I am not a fan of their syrup. Hard to describe why. Odd, I know, lol. It's not a deal breaker though. Also their house hot sauce is a great blend of heat & flavor. Our server Kevin was great too. Overall a nice go-to spot for breakfast or brunch. I wanna come back and try their lunch options. Toast is great! The food was really good and the space itself was really spacious and has a really great vibe to it. Service was attentive. The only issue is the wait time, we tried going prior and were unable to get in because it was so crowded. We got there and had to wait about 20 minutes for just 2 of us, so would definitely recommend calling beforehand.

Had a group of 8 at toast recently. Although google says they take a call ahead waitlist, they do not. We called that we had a party of 8 coming about 5 mins before we got there, and they indicated the wait would be 5-10 mins but could not guarantee. When we got there, they quoted us 30 mins. The wait ended up being about 45 minutes. Once we sat the meal was great. Service and food came quickly and I enjoyed my southwest breakfast bowl. The bowl was modifiable. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well!

One of my favorite breakfast spots at any of the shore towns. Love the casual dining environment and the service is always friendly. The menu is excellent - my personal favorite is the gluten-free waffle and the corned beef hash, although I have yet to experience a bad meal. My only criticism is that each time I have eaten here, I always feel kind of rushed out at the end. The check usually comes right as I'm finishing eating, and I've never had a server offer to bring more coffee at the end of the meal so I can relax for a minute and digest my food. I usually arrive right at opening so the place is never crowded even by the time I'm leaving. It's happened often enough (read: every single time) that it keeps me from giving it five stars. Otherwise, though, great spot.

Waitress super nice!! Keep in mind there's a time limit for your whole stay and they make sure to let you know.

Our server was the absolute best, Atalie was the sweetest and kindest young lady. She was very helpful in our decision making and whatever we needed she made sure she got for us. We started with the cinnamon buns, they looked good but were a bit cold and hard. All of our beverages were good. Make sure you have someone to share the French press coffee with because it's good but a lot. All of our meals were good and flavorful. The Lobster roll was a bit dry and needed mayo. The crab hash was tasty and plentiful. The red velvet pancake was fluffy and good. The French toast I would've liked but I received the 2 butt-end parts of the bread, so I wasn't too much of a fan. My favorite was the maple bacon, it was so good I wanted to order another serving. Nice sticky and crunchy all at the same time. Reservations weren't needed and we found parking in the parking lot around the corner. The first 30 minutes are free

I would say this place is a 3.5 based on my first visit. The place itself is cute and the prices are good. The server was nice however it took long for someone to come and check on us once we started eating and we had to ask for waters a second time. The food was good, but my Benedict was a bit on the cold side. However the grilled cinnamon buns were sooo good! I'd go back and try something else.

Montclair has such cute places! This is a pretty large restaurant that recently opened up. Pros: - Lots of parking in the area, for Montclair - The wait was about 15 min for a weekend brunch - The aesthetic is beautiful: dark colors, multiple levels, and there's a lot of light Cons: - Portions were small. I got a single slice of bread for my avocado toast, and a small glass of juice (maybe 4 oz) for normal prices - It was freezing inside! They had to put a heater right by our feet but it was also a tripping hazard It was a cute place to go! If they had larger portions I think I'd come more regularly.

First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!

I had the sisig flatbread and the pork croquette. The sisig flatbread had very unique and complex flavors. I thought it was very creative. The croquette was fresh and tasty, but it was truly the sauce that came with it that was the star of the show. It bold and vinegary and tasted great with the sisig flat bread as well. I tried a bit of my friend's pandan waffle and it was quite tasty! I could really taste the pandan. Now the bad. The ube latte was mediocre. I asked for mine with matcha, but I really couldn't even taste the matcha. I think next time I might try their other drinks to see if there is a difference. However, I was really expecting better. Overall: I'd say the food is better than the drinks, which is a bit of a disappointment because I was hoping for both to be out of this world. The service was good and the staff was very kind. I also enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as well.

There were many tasty-sounding latte choices such as horchata, tiramisu, and the golden palms latte, which is made of turmeric. I look forward to trying one of those the next time that I return.

Another pair playing at the same human game we all play at was doing it in person as a couple or couple to be or two who were to have but these evening. The beau or fella was brashly loud which soon grew charming as I recalled when I used to try to wow girls with tales of meditation tricks and bragging I'd be dead in 2031 when the next Avatar comes out (or the equivalent in my time).
