    Taylor ham egg and chees
    Hugo P.

Service was good. Food was expensive for the taste. Asked for a Taylor ham egg and cheese and I got a tiny sliver of an egg, and they didn't toast my ham, cheese tomato lettuce sandwich like I asked. Mocha peanut butter milkshake Id rate a 7/10. Definitely not impressed with the establishment, won't be going back. Ambiance was what you'd expect from a breakfast spot. And they forgot the napkins.

I was looking for a local breakfast spot and I came across this place. I called in my order and the lady that answered seemed to not be so happy it was Monday, for lack of better words lol. I ordered the short stack pancakes with a side of home fries and turkey bacon and she said it would take 15 minutes. When I arrived I parked nearby. I walked in and told the lady that I was there for a pick up and my name. She seemed to be rushed or overwhelmed. She said it would be $13.06 and I paid with my credit card and left. When I tried the food the pancakes were tasty, the home fries needed a little salt and the turkey bacon wasn't too bad. All in all I had an ok experience.

From the moment we stepped into this quaint breakfast spot, we felt great vibes. We were able to be seated at the bar right away where we had a great view of the chefs cooking up breakfast masterpieces! We ordered the western omelette and a customized omelette, both cooked to perfection. The pancakes were fluffy and light. The café latte was delicious and our servers were friendly. Thank you Tristan and GG for the flavorful meal and excellent hospitality. When we're in Jersey, we will definitely be back to see you.

Thanks for showing appreciation with the free espresso on check in! Really nice place! Great waitress.

I really needed a great breakfast this morning and I'm glad I came to Cafe 401 & Grill! The food was great, interior cute and clean, my waitress Michele was fantastic! I was having a not so great start to my day and I really needed a good experience for breakfast to boost my mood, so based on the great ratings I came here and ordered the eggs Benedict, which is like the Cadillac of breakfast sandwiches, not an entirely easy task for a grillemaster, and they made a sandwich worthy of the name. The eggs were perfectly done, the Canadian bacon was there at every bite, the hollandaise sauce was actually very tasty (many get this part wrong but not here), and to cap it off, there's really great home fried potatoes with bits of onion and red bell pepper. I scraped the plate clean. Worth the trip if you're within reasonable distance, bookmark it, check in and get a FREE espresso!

Very meh. This is a 2.5 star review really. The service is meh and the food is too. When I first ordered from here back when I was new to town, I thought I'd found something. Not far from where I live and the waffle sandwich was quite good. Waffle was a little lighter than I'd like but I thought it was a decent takeout breakfast. I came in for an order of pancakes on my day off and the pancakes were damn near crepes. Lol. And not fluffy like ppl say in older reviews. Only saving grace were the cheese eggs, which were made how I make them at home. Bacon is pre cooked and then thrown on the griddle so it's extra crispy. Not bad, but an accurate description so you know what you're getting.

Ordered the eggs Benedict, fresh OJ, my bf ordered the peasant omelet. He is so picky so it was a test to see if this would be our new breakfast spot. Well it definitely is! My eggs benedict was amazing, the sauce was bomb! The home fries were seasoned perfectly the way my boyfriend likes it. I recommend this spot 100%! We will be coming back on the weekends for sure. To the owner: this is Tarik girlfriend, he told me to tell you the peasant omelet with the avocado was worth the wait. Loved it! Lol

I really was excited to try this place out because of the reviews and the pictures seemed appetizing but it was a miss. The service was good. The girls where very nice and attentive. I got the eggs and meat platter which was good but my hash browns were under salted and my egg was over cooked, I asked for over medium. My partner got a sandwich called the Berkeley, which was basically a Reuben from the description. When we got the sandwich there was literally one slice of meat in the sandwich. In addition the pancakes we got to share tasted undercooked. The best part of my breakfast was the fresh orange juice sadly.

Finally got to experience this place after hearing of it for more than 2+ years! I've heard at…read moretimes this Coffee spot can be pretty packed, so I feel like I came on a really good day. First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!

I had the sisig flatbread and the pork croquette. The sisig flatbread had very unique and complex flavors. I thought it was very creative. The croquette was fresh and tasty, but it was truly the sauce that came with it that was the star of the show. It bold and vinegary and tasted great with the sisig flat bread as well. I tried a bit of my friend's pandan waffle and it was quite tasty! I could really taste the pandan. Now the bad. The ube latte was mediocre. I asked for mine with matcha, but I really couldn't even taste the matcha. I think next time I might try their other drinks to see if there is a difference. However, I was really expecting better. Overall: I'd say the food is better than the drinks, which is a bit of a disappointment because I was hoping for both to be out of this world. The service was good and the staff was very kind. I also enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as well.

Another pair playing at the same human game we all play at was doing it in person as a couple or couple to be or two who were to have but these evening. The beau or fella was brashly loud which soon grew charming as I recalled when I used to try to wow girls with tales of meditation tricks and bragging I'd be dead in 2031 when the next Avatar comes out (or the equivalent in my time). So here I was coming in out of the cold playing the same innocent game for human connection. I wish I could warn him that her politely laughing may not be a good sign! Or maybe assure him it is - ah, but who knows what love is or indeed even what fun is. All i know was the last joint wasn't putting out any such vibe. Ah the severance. So I got two coffees to go because that's what coffees are for. But I also got my first ever "bubblentea". The mango bubble tea had these little pearl-like bubble balls that mash like tiny grapes in your mouth. Delightful candified moment. But here's what I'll always remember. The second i walked in, the cashier warmly greeted me and welcomed me with but three patrons here on a Sunday night - and the heat was out. She wore a coat. I didn't remove mine. Our breathe was nearly white but you know what? Not nearly so cold an experience as the last joint.
