The chips were fresh and salty, the way I like them, and the salsa was mild and tasty. I ordered the chicken fajitas and my wife ordered the veggie burrito. Neither one of our dishes disappointed. The fajitas were cooked fresh and served hot with soft shell tortillas. Plenty of chicken, beans, rice, and vegetables to stuff the tortillas. I even ordered more tortillas. The veggie burrito was huge and my wife brought the other half home and had it for lunch the next day. The prices were more than reasonable and the service was excellent and friendly. I've been meaning to come here forever and finally stopped in. I'm so glad we did. The place is bigger than I thought it was going to be. When we got there there was one other couple sitting and plenty of empty tables for us to choose from. We chose to share the chicken flair as as an appetizer and for my meal I had the chorizo tacos while my date had the chicken enchiladas. We were impressed by all. The flautas were nice and crispy and my tacos ingredients were so fresh. The server who was probably the owner was waiting on everyone as the place started to fill up. Great spot for some delicious Mexican food. They moved into this space about a year ago and it's a great space, with tons of windows and tables well spaced out. We've been here a few times for breakfast/brunch, my favorite dish is the huevos rancheros with green sauce. The coffee here is fantastic, as is the passionfruit agua fresca. Passing through Cranford and felt the itch for good Tex-Mex. Follow the reviews on Yelp and parked across the street in convenient parking. The weather was nice today but, we decided to eat indoor. The place was exceptionally clean with a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered and were quickly served with some of the best dishes we've had in a while. I did the ham, egg and cheese sandwich + a small coffee for $5 deal. They made sure I knew that that deal applied to any sandwich as well which was cool. And You don't have to put it on a roll, you can put it on anything. What stood out to me was how clean the whole place was. Really a bad place not sure how they got those reviews. Very unhygienic . They are not equipped for to go orders Ordered salad , everything other than lettuce and tomatoes was frozen, beans cheese . He opened the salad box and I could see wilted and done probably fungus spots on some leaves. They gave an open kitchen where they were using frozen burger patties and frozen fries for orders. They couldn't even give me an itemized bill , and they put a napkin from planet fitness in my to go bag . I should have just walked out without my food, but for some reason I felt obliged to wait I threw away the food as I just couldn't get past the pathetic way goods handled. I was nearby this restaurant as I was attending a seminar at the Hilton a couple streets over. Needed some lunch and found this on Yelp. It's a small narrow place that seemed to be filled up with 'regulars' - almost looked like a trucker stop to me lol. I was the only female, kind of weird. But anyway the staff were super nice. The parking in front is tiny, I saw a sign there's rear parking, but didn't see it. I ordered a veggie quesadilla. I'm a petite person, and I don't eat a lot, but this was a light meal. It was rather lackluster and wasn't too flavorful. It was at least fresh and very hot when served. Came with some homemade (I think?) tortilla chips and salsa.
