I came to this restaurant just before noon on Sunday and there was plenty of traffic inside the store. I did find it very unusual that there were no menus posted, and no menus available to look at. It was pretty much pick whatever you want and order it. They were able to accommodate my choice of grilled chicken with lettuce and onion. Upon first glance, the bagels are smaller than I'm used to. They're not quite mini bagels, but they're definitely not the same size as most bagel shops. Despite that, the sandwich was delicious. The blueberry bagel I ordered tasted like a regular New Jersey style bagel. The grilled chicken breast was loaded on the sandwich and everything else I asked for was exactly as ordered. I loved the addition of a side macaroni salad, and a pickle. Both were at no additional cost. Thumbs down to the surcharge on use of credit card (I didn't see the sign about the fee posted but may have missed it). Overall, it was a good experience. This is a nice vibe for a strip mall bagel shop! They have plenty of dine in seating and will bring your order to you at the table which is nice. Service was speedy and friendly too. Iced coffee was a highlight! Perfectly light and sweet like requested and very strong which is always a plus. For food I went with a wrap with egg, cheese, turkey bacon and tomato. The wrap was hearty and filling. My only complaint is that I wish the cheese was melted. Still delish though! This bagel shop is such a nice stop for a quick bite to eat. Their bagel selection has a large variety of different flavors and they even have lunch specials! You can order to eat-in, as they have a small seating area, or takeout with ease since the location is within a strip parking lot. The service here is super friendly and definitely fits with the cozy vibe you get from being inside the shop. It feels like you're inside a warm living room (lol) I typically order the NJ staple -- bacon, egg & cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup on a warm bagel. I have been going to this place since it opened, and consistently it's great! But I keep running into an issue with my order and it irks me. They keep adding Ketchup to my sandwich when I'm not asking for it, AND when I say No Ketchup...they still do it! I don't know why, I even did a hand gesture today to indicate no ketchup, it still happened. Their French Toast bagel is delicious btw 100% recommend. Was craving bagels and decided to stop by here on the way back from Newark. It's super busy so you'll probsy have to wait depending on what time/day you go but definitely worth the wait. Was craving a bagel and found this place close by on Yelp! I walked in to a friendly homey vibe, seemed to be filled with regulars . I asked for a menu to see their selections which they didn't have- which threw me off a little. But I was able to look at their glass case of bagels and make a selection for a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. I do wish I had some sort of basic menu because I didn't realize they had lox and a variety of cream cheeses until I had already ordered. I also wish they'd asked if I wanted it toasted (it wasn't) but the bagel itself was delicious, slight crisp on the outside as you bite in and soft and chewy on the inside. Also had a generous amount of fluffy cream cheese. The blueberry bagel also didn't have real blueberry bits in but it was purple which was interesting! It was amazingly cheap! The bagels here were super delicious. Some were softer than others, so next time I will definitely be sure to ask for a set of fresh bagels but overall they all were great. I ordered a dozen of assorted types: plain, blueberry, everything, salt, honey wheat, the list can go on. Even with the over 7 flavors I tried, there are at least 10 I still have to go. They also have food beyond bagels which I was salivating over as people picked up their orders. Things like egg sandwiches, smoke salmon, ahh the list goes on. They have a pretty standard variety of bagels (everything bagels, egg bagels, sesame, and even some more creative ones such as a French toast bagel) They also have a pretty standard variety of sandwiches. I've had many, many, MANY bacon egg and cheese sandwiches from this place. Their iced coffee is pretty good as well. They have a small seating area inside the restaurant, as well as having two tables outside. Some of the staff is friendly, while some of them are a little bit cold, however that is probably attributed to the fact that they are such a busy establishment. All in all, the food is solid. It can definitely get a little bit pricy at almost $5 a sandwich, but you'll be pretty happy afterwards. read more

These happen to be the best bagels I have EVER had. They were so fresh, soft, and buttery. I picked up half a dozen bagels to take home a prepare myself, and by the time I got home- even after making two stops before, and they were STILL warm. The gentleman that took my order set gave my daughter a mini bagel to eat right away- that made her so happy. I was in the area and originally was going to Manhattan bagel but the line was insane. As I'm sitting at the light I notice a sign that says Bagels. This little hole in the wall next to where the old block buster used to be. Order a THEC with ketchup and asked him to scramble the egg . Paid $4.06 which is super inexpensive in comparison to what I pay else where. My sandwich was not only hearty with meat and fluffy egg but that bagel was sooo good! I stopped by Bagels & Beans for the first time with my husband this past weekend because it was recommended to us by someone that we know and lives nearby. As soon as you walk in, you can tell it's very "old school". We placed our orders at the counter, and even though there were about 10 people working on the orders, I had to wait at least 10-15 minutes for our orders to be ready. The person who took my order must've been new. She was very friendly, but when I asked her if they made lattes, she had to ask another worker before she answered my question. Also, she didn't know what an apple turnover was. :\ The egg sandwiches that we ordered were very good. My rating for Bagels & Beans is more for the sandwiches. I enjoyed that my bagel tasted like a NYC bagel. For those who are from NYC - if you know, you know. *wink* However, the coffee was DISGUSTING! It tasted like the way the coffee smells from the street carts all over Manhattan. I even asked my husband to taste it and he didn't like it either. Also, the apple turnover was stale. Pulled up to find a few elderly couples sitting outside at the tables set up enjoying some coffee. I was greeted instantly with smiles. Not sure whether the owner was in the mix but either way, it was very welcoming and clear they were regulars. I walked in and viewed the bagels. They all looked perfectly seasoned and smelled delicious. Got my usual with cream cheese and was shocked when I paid under 2$. I was happy to tip the change of my 5$. I usually LOVE these bagels. They are big, doughy and soft and a lot of times warm, too. I went in today to get bagels for my family and I have to say I was so disappointed. The worker that helped me seemed annoyed at her job. Then I asked for an extra bagel and one of the guys goes in with his bare hands and grabs it. First, without COVID that's wrong, but WITH COVID it's not acceptable.
