This little deli serves breakfast. Sandwiches, wraps and muffins. Reasonable prices. Place has to be updated. They have an empty fridge/counter. First time ordering and will never go back! Placed an online order for 3 omelette platters and 3 bagels 30 min before pickup (that was the only option for pickup time). Arrived at the store only to find out they hadn't even looked at my order! The receipt was sitting on the counter untouched. The woman behind the register said sometimes the phones ring and they can't get to the online orders. Really?? Then she asked me to repeat my entire order to her, even though she had the detailed receipt right in front of her. C'mon! Stop wasting my time! Had I not already paid for my order online, I would have just left. Took them about 15 min to cook the omelettes, which weren't seasoned at all (neither were the home fries), and my jalapeño bagel was basically a plain bagel that was dyed green. I have been here plenty of times hoping that with each visit and each order i make they would correctly create. But the never. I would ask for 2 orders of a sandwich and they only end up making one. That is very inconvenient since cooking and preparing will take a bit until it's ready. I have ordered simple sandwiches or platters such as, bacon, egg, and cheese on a wheat bagel and they would screw up the order by using sausage instead or white bagel. I stopped in a late Sunday morning a few weeks ago. This was my first time here. I ordered 1/2 dozen Bagels and a small container of vegetable cream cheese. I saw it in the case I was standing in front of, it looked fresh and appetizing. I was a little " taken a back" when the gal at the counter pointed past me? I said, "I don't understand"? She again pointed and then told me they had pre-made containers in the case against the wall. I can't do the pointing thing. it's rude. I find it especially rude when it comes from a a much younger person. I see it as disrespectful. If a customer could not figure out what she was talking about , she should have walked her ass from behind the counter to show me. There was no other customer needing service, that would have taken her away from her post. I point to my dogs....not customers. After I figured out where that finger was pointing to.... I will say the vegetable cream cheese was very good and home made. They probably packaged it that morning or the night before. The "pointer" could have shared that info. I thought I was getting old stuff by being sent to the fridge. The bagels were over cooked n very dry, not worth the calories. There is a lot of competition for this type of business in the area. Every time we order the girl who takes down the info gets it wrong. She writes down my card number wrong 3 times in the last 3 times she's called back to say that she didn't write it down correctly. So we started paying cash to solve that. Unfortunately she also gets orders wrong too when she writes them. She will omit things we clearly ordered. read more

The place is very clean and modern, good selection of coffee, and the breakfast sandwiches are very good. Only if they would spend time training the staff, they would turn business around quicker. I have come here two consecutive Friday mornings to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Both times my order has taken about 15 minutes to come out. What's so hard about making a 2 egg-and-ham sandwich? Not only does the food take a long time to be prepared. The staff can seldom figure out how to operate the cash registers. Is it because they have to take the order, handle the bagel and pastry orders, and then come back and try to figure out how and what to charge? Simply have cashiers take the order, pass it on to someone making the sandwiches, and have them bring back the order ticket to the cashier with the food. Very routine operation, and can rotate staff every hour so that there's no complaints I wish them well. Very nice people, but the average working individual can't afford to spend 20 minutes waiting for breakfast on a weekday. if I had that kind of time, I'd go sit at a diner. read more

Wife and I came here after other other place had a long line out the door. This place was almost empty. The bagels were good. However , although my order was taken, written down and repeated slowly back to me somehow the selection of bagels and toppings got mixed up. Not terrible enough to complain and get it corrected and family was hungry. We just wanted to eat and run. I love this place ! Pleasant atmosphere , spacious with comfortable tables , yummy food at very fair prices ! They can make and customize anything you want and have healthy wraps and options . I always get the European wrap # 51 shown in the photo , and sometime I'll get egg white w mozzarella cheese and French fried baked in the wrap then pressed in the panini maker , it's insane !!! This is my go-to bagel shop in the area. It's the only place that does my turkey, egg, and cheese on an everything the right way. The store is clean and the lady behind the counter is always nice. Wait times vary but I usually call it in first so it's waiting for me when I arrive. The house coffee is mediocre but the Jamaican Me Crazy is the best. There's always two older gentlemen shootin' the breeze at one of the tables... WITHOUT FAIL. I guess they like the hang out. read more

I've been here a lot over my lifetime. I hate to say it but the place has really declined. Prices are still great, and most of the staff is very friendly. However, the quality has slipped. Customer service is about as hard to come by here as someone who speaks English. Forget about calling in to place an order. I had the girl read it back to me 3 times before I was confident enough that she got the majority right. When my girlfriend and I paid and turned to leave, there was no "thank you." No "have a nice day." Nothing. The young Hispanic girl was extremely rude and cold. This place used to be the best bagel spot in town. I've lived in kenilworth for all of my 30 years but this place is done. After the new management came in this place went downhill fast. The language barrier is tough enough, but not being thanked for your purchase must mean they don't need my dollars there, so I'll go to bagels 4 u the next block over, or even Dunkin across the street. 12/9 just called in a delivery order, but they won't deliver it because they stop delivering at 2pm. There are better places than this. They hardly get an order right, sometimes the sandwiches are made differently than what's on the menu. I ordered a chicken dijon sandwich which was chicken/lettuce/tomato/onion/dijon/cheese. I got a chicken sandwich with onions and mushrooms with no trace of dijon or cheese. When i called to find out if they mixed my sandwich up by mistake, the guy said that's how they make it now. Well, I don't like mushrooms, it's important to keep up with your menu! read more

Never ordering from here again. Ordered lunch with my company, i ordered a whole sub. When the delivery came they only gave me half a sub. Called up and explained to them, and though we figured out that she only charged for half a sub i still payed for a whole and i wanted half my money back. Lady argued with me for a good ten minutes until she finally said "we send money back" and hung up. Now a half a sub is $5.84 after tax and a whole is $10.99 before tax. I gave 13 dollars. THIS PLACE SUCKS !!! My company used to order from there every week-they have repeatedly messed up our order and we continued to spend our money there. They had the nerve to tell us they can no longer service us because there is a issue every time they deliver (WHICH IS THEIR FAULT).
