If I would have left this review the 1st time I ate here when I dined in, it would have been a 5! There food is delicious. However, this time I ordered take out and the order was wrong and Justin an employee was a complete Jerk. I called in, placed my order and even called back to add on and everything was great. We picked up our families order and of coarse they gave us one wrong dish. Mine, I ordered general's chicken, upon realizing the mistake I called the restaraunt and spoke to Justin thinking this would be an easy fix. NO, Justin was rude and told me I was wrong about what kind of chicken I ordered. I said, excuse me, I order this at every Chinese restaurant we go to and it always has a batter, red peppers and is a spicy dish. I personally did not like what we received, but I dont like overly sweet food. (This was sweet. No pepper or spice and not battered and fried.) He again very rudely told me i ordered the wrong thing and he wasn't going to fix it. I then got upset, told him nevermind i will call your owner or manager tomorrow. Next, I looked on line and low and behold I found a picture of their general chicken looking as I expected mine to look and I took a Pic of what I received. Now if Justin had been kind about the mistake and tried to fix I would not have left this review but to get the wrong food, been rude too and basically told I was wrong and clueless....Sorry Mandarin Delight you need better employees to 1. check the orders going out and 2. Employees that represent you in a better light, and one that is kind and helpful to customers. Deanna S read more

New favorite spot in Dublin for the fast casual style Chinese comfort food I grew up on in the Bay Area. Favorites like chow mein, Mongolian beef, walnut prawns and orange chicken are on the menu and the portions are epic (the lunch special could feed two normal sized people, I devour the whole thing). Great service, clean restaurant and of course a fortune cookie at the end of your meal. The prices are reasonable, too. I haven't been there for dinner yet but I'm definitely going to be a regular. Delicious food! read more

Interesting little place in Dublin. It's a mom and pop and has the regular Chinese course you would expect, nothing flashy. The staff is nice, we got the lunch special. It was pretty good , tea was hot. Portions were actually too big for Me. I know it's hard to say that . It was alot of food . I managed to take it all down. The chicken was spicy- my request and it was exactly as asked. I happy here. I gave it 3 stars for parking is a problem for me. It would have been 4....Some kind of constructions going on in the parking lot. That's not their fault. I'm just mentioning it . read more

I came here around 12:30 pm on Christmas Day, it was nice that this restaurant was open and it got quite busy during lunch time by around 1 or 1:30 pm. The inside is simple but nice enough for a casual meal. My husband and I ordered lunch specials - princess chicken and orange chicken. They came with a serving of hot and sour soup which was nice, the "appetizer" is the wonton crisp pictured in the photos. We also placed an order of green beans with garlic. The portion sizes were generous and the flavors were really good, particularly with the princess chicken and green beans. My cons were that the green beans seemed a bit overcooked so they didn't have the nice crisp feel and my orange chicken was a bit on the bland side - it tasted very healthy which isn't what I was going for when coming here overall I would come back to try this place one more time but unsure if I'd choose this spot over my usual go-to for this type of food. read more

Our server was very friendly and helpful. So many yummy options to choose from! Flavors were very good, we ordered the mixed vegetables and added chicken and asked that it be made spicy. Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty, but not spicy at all. If you like spice, be sure and stress the spice when you order it. The fried rice was excellent. read more

I came to Mandarin Delight in Dublin to get some meal and was surprised to hear that I won't be getting what is showing in their menu online and also on their menu in the restaurant. I was getting the lunch special which comes with appetizer and soup with any of the meal listed but the lady who helped me said appetizers is not included in the lunch special. Ok so still I placed order of 2 meals and did takeout. When I reached the office I came to find out she only gave me 1 chilli sauce for 2 meals. Also there was no spoon for me to use for soup as she only gave 2 forks. The food taste was just ok but there seems to be some change over the past years as the food doesn't tastes the same. read more

We've been to Mandarin Delight a couple times for lunch. They do a busy lunch and at peak times seating is limited. The Chinese dishes are solid with each dish made to order. We had the following items. Szechuan beef 4 stars the dishes are Chinese American names but its like Yu Shang Chicken lettuce wrap 4 stars good portion s generous lettuce cups Salt and pepper calamari 3 stars didn't like the batter Shrimp lettuce wrap 5 stars not on the menu or specials but the owner was accommodating in preparing it. Kung Pao chicken lunch 3 stars large portions few veggies (bell pepper, bamboo shoots, and peanuts) served with fried rice and soup. Lunches start at $12.95 to $16.95. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. Service from the owner is very friendly and accommodating. read more

We stopped in for a late lunch. After a warm welcome, we were given our choice of seats. The dining area is clean and open with a view to the kitchen. Our food came out hot and quick. Lunch started with a bowl of hot and sour soup. A light spice and enough vinegar to make your mouth pucker just a bit. I ordered the Mongolian Chicken with chow mien. The noodles had the perfect bite and chew. The Mongolian Chicken had a good soy based flavor with some heat from the peppers and onions. They include bell peppers in their mix which I am not a big fan. The ice cold beer in a chilled glass was also a nice touch. My Nana had the Princess Chicken with fried rice. Perfect chunks of fried chicken drenched in a sweet sauce. For lunch, the portion was huge. Impossible to finish in one sitting and leftovers are not always a good thing to carry around all day. Great flavors and service. I will be back. read more

Hands down, the best Chinese food in the Trivalley. I've been coming here for years, even before the name change, and the quality and consistency have remained topnotch. Lunch specials are plentiful, affordable, and the service is always friendly. Definitely on my family's lunch/dinner rotation when we're in the mood for Chinese. read more

I apologize to the owner for leaving my poor rating, but this may prove helpful to some of your customers. We had high hopes based on the overall rating - we ordered: Kung Pao Chicken, House Special Chow Mein and Sauteed Green Beans with Pork (these may not be the actual names of the dishes, but this describes what I remember). All three were very generous portions with simple ingredients, extremely greasy, with very little unique flavors. The green beans were simple and almost a 4 star, the chow mein had a lot of ingredients, but lacked distinct flavors, all smothered in oil which may have masked any inherent flavors, the same basically with the kung pao - it had lots of chicken and bell peppers, but lacked any spice although whole small red peppers were included, none of the taste of which became part of the total, I tried biting one, but they appeared very dry, no knives were provided, so I could not cut any open, very few peanuts, again the excess oil may have been smothering any flavor. Using the chile oil condiment added a little flavor, but that too was lacking in real flavor. Sorry, but we have been to a lot of chinese restaurants, this does not measure up. read more

First off let's start by saying that this place has really great customer service. Came by for their lunch specials and omg their portions are huge! You have to be really hungry to be able to finish their lunch plates. Along with this review I'll post a few pics with my ratings. This place is a good, if you're in the area I suggest giving them a try :) read more

Review is for Doordash Lunch: I've ordered from Mandarin Delight twice by Doordash and both times there was usually one outstanding dish and the rest were good dishes. i'm rounding things up to 5 stars since I believe Mandarin Delight has potential to be our new go-to takeout place, surpassing China Gourmet. The things I love: 1. Lunch specials are huge portions. The Mongolian Beef was among the best I've had, and brings back memories of legendary Crispy Fry at Emeryville Public Market. Super soft, juicy beef and a good spicy-sweet sauce. They threw in an excellent corn-egg drop soup and egg roll too. 2. Fish Filet Entree - If you choose the Steamed option, you'll get the ginger-scallion preparation which is classic. Light, clean flavors with plenty of veggies on the side. The one area for improvement for them is to go easier on the sauce for the meat dishes, like chicken and string beans and beef with veggies. The cook and seasoning on the meats and veggies are already perfect, but all that oyster sauce just makes things too salty and detracts away from the entree. We rinsed the meat in hot water and it was still very good. Our 2yo son agrees too. Looking forward to trying more of their menu. Being in Dublin, Doordash delivery tips to Danville are double compared to local restaurants. However, I believe the high food quality and portions justify it. Hopefully they go easier on the sauce next time! read more

It's good and authentic Chinese foods, they can keep the quality. The boss always remember the customer, what they ordered last time or give us some suggestion. read more

This restaurant is very very good! The food is excellent, not greasy or over cooked. It's piping hot and very fresh. The service is excellent as well. The lady who served us was very helpful. The only down side is the space is small for its popular dining. But the tables are big and big enough to fit the large portions they serve. Well priced for the amount of food. 9/10 for me. read more

Very delicious rice and noodles. Someone ordered crispy beef and that is exactly what I need to order next time. Very very good. Mongolian beef is Bomb! Fire! Not literally, not too spicy, but the meat is tender. I don't care for the thickness of the orange chicken, but green bean and chicken bomb! Would've ordered it spicy, but the kiddos wouldn't eat it. Will be coming next time on my own ordering spicy deliciousness. Get extra hot oil. Writing this review has now made me hungry. The staff was very kind as well and patient. We had a large group. Hope this review helps enjoy. read more

The best Chinese food in Dublin, Delicious food, clean restaurant, good service in a convenient location.

It's at the other corner of Berevino. Used to be another Chinese restaurant here before. Not much of an ambiance. But the location is pretty convenient. It was a little weird that fork was the only utensil on the table. But when we requested for chopsticks, they were provided promptly. Actually, service was great! For left overs, our server packed them all in proper containers... service done right! Food was generous. Hong Kong style crispy noodle had more of meat than seafood. And what you normally call as Mongolian Beef (beef with green onion) maybe Mandarin Beef here. Still generous portion. And prices for the area is somewhat reasonable. Food itself felt greasier and heavy in seasoning though. Do I want more? Not really. I could eat a little less in better quality. read more

I was in the mood for Chinese American fare and found this place. Located nearby the Hacienda Center. They have closely space dining room as well as outside seating. I had their lunch special sweet & sour chicken over rice. A bowl of hot and sour soup was included. The soup was a pleasant surprise and very decent. And the sweet & sour chicken included a very cold fried wonton skin with sauce. The chicken was plenty and the sauce was as expected. Overall, a nice dining experience. I would definitely come back. read more

What a wonderful surprise birthday party for 14 we had a couple of weeks ago for a friend. Standard Chinese fair. Good menu. Nice selections of classics. Taste good with great service.

Can't believe I forgot to post this review! I went here December of 2023 with my family, as a party of the six. We were visiting and wanted some chinese food! The restaurant is casual but a little upscale with the white-clothed tables, but not in a way that you have to come formally dressed. The portions are family-sized (big and shareable)! We are all big eaters and we were in a food coma after this. Service was pretty good! I have food allergies to all seafood, all nuts, and all dairy (which is CRAZY if you're trying to eat asian food ik ) so I will always ask to make sure about a dish and the staff seemed very understanding and patient and I was confident about eating food here! read more

After seeing the pictures on yelp. I have to check this place out. I had the lunch special. Mongolian beef over fried rice. It even comes with a side of soup.(corn with egg drop soup ) most restaurants won't give you soup if you soup if you order to go. When open my container... this thing was full to the rim. It was Hella good and big portion for the price of $15. Did not disappoint me at all. Ain't going to lie though, it took me two lunch days to finish this.thats how big the portions was. Definitely will go back. read more

We ordered take out on Halloween night- chow mein noodles, combo fried rice and pork BBQ. Exceptional service and clean interior! Their portion is very generous. I like the Mushu shrimp (stirred fried shrimp and vegetable you wrap in a savory wheat paper). Good wok flavors, and it was kind of fun to wrap it. Cumin beef was great too but could be less seasoned. It was tad salty on my taste. My favorite was actually a Chinese fries they gave. One is the few remaining Chinese restaurants in the area, and it is a solid go-to spot for us. We prefer take out than eating in since it's so close to our home. The flavors are pretty good here and the servings are a decent size. In particular, we like the sweet and sour dishes along with the chow mein. The price doesn't break the bank and we can reasonably feed a family of 4 adults here. read more
