Chinese Pan Cake with Green Onion, Kung Pao Chicken, Yang Chou Fried Rice
    Angela M.

Good food but lukewarm service. The hostess was all smiles when she seated us, but spent the entire time with the other owner chatting up some other customers and ignoring every other table. We got the green onion pancake ($8.95), kung pao chicken ($15.95), yang chou fried rice ($13.95), and one other stir fried dish I can't totally remember but believe was pork with mushrooms and bell peppers. The kung pao chicken had some flavor in the sauce I wasn't totally loving, but was spicy and packed with chicken, peanuts, onions, and bell peppers. The green onion pancake was crispy and delicious, with eight slices to an order. But the star of the show was the yang chou fried rice, which is that fluffy, soft type of fried rice I absolutely love. That was the first thing that got finished at the table. Portions are generous. My brother and I are both good eaters but we still left with leftovers. However, be careful with the take-out containers here; the kung pao leaked for some reason and the containers just felt a little flimsy in general. Luckily they were in a plastic bag, otherwise it would've gotten all over the car. Plenty of other things on the menu to try and I wouldn't object to coming here again, I just wouldn't drive all the way out specifically for it.

This is one of our usual dinner spot. The spicy chicken is our fav and after trying from many places, this place still has the best chicken. My daughter loves their steam fish with tofu and I like their fried green bean but today we tried another veggie but it wasn't as good. The server is always friendly and attentive.

We came in around 6:30 pm on a Tuesday. We were the only customers. The food was mediocre. I was quite disappointed. The green onion pancake had absolutely no taste , no flavor. The spicy boiled fish was just okay. The only flavor it had was just "spicy" . The Chongqing chicken wings were very expensive for the small portion size . It also felt like it was missing some ingredients. The beef and tendon was the worst dish of them all. It had no spicy, umami flavor it's supposed to have. We were quickly seated because we were the only customers but she never came back to check on us. She continued to chat with her co-worker the whole time we were eating. Empty plates were taken away only at the end of the meal when we asked for the check. Will definitely not be coming back.

Excellent meal at LuLu's Kitchen ~ Their food is GOOD! Located at the strip mall at Amador Valley x Village Parkway with plenty of parking, the restaurant is clean and seating is comfortable. Upon entering, we were greeted by their friendly staff and proceeded to order a few dishes. Everything tasted excellent and full of balanced flavor and spiciness. Flavors are on point! ;) My favorites: * Hot n Spur soup -- excellent * Fish gluten ball with veggies in clay pot -- simple, mild flavored and tasty! * Stir fry string beans & eggplant -- very good * House special fried chow mein -- eat it while the noodles are crispy! so good! Overall an excellent meal... Thank You and we'll be back soon!

We were fans of Lulu in Concord until it shuttered its doors a few years ago. It's good to find similar food in Dublin. Tofu fish was spicy as always, beautifully presented on its large plate. Pork rib chef special sauce had very unique flavor with small soft ribs superbly fried to golden embedded between green beans. Wish there were some more ribs. The owner/head waitress was distracted: chatting loudly on her cell phone and seemed to have a slightly brusque disposition. Food **** Service ***

We came back again today, just because it's been a while since our last time dining here. Lulu's used to be very busy for lunch, but it's not like that today. Time has definitely changed. There are so many options to eat now in the Trivalley area, but Lulu still have that schezhuan flavors that's we all crave for once in a while. Its unique flavors is hard to compare to other restaurants. Always satisfying that you'll want to keep coming back for more.

Ordered takeout but the portions look a lot smaller than if you were to dine in. My recommendation would be to dine in and take leftovers home to maximize efficiency and cost. Other than that it's tasty Chinese food, not overpowering or greasy from what I see.

Lulu's is an under appreciated gem for Hunan cuisine. The dishes here are well-executed, with authentic flavors, and generously portioned. The comprehensive menu showcases the chef's breath and talents. If Lulu's is close to where I live I would be coming here often.

Beef Stew Noodle Soup ($20 including tax & 20% tip) enough left overs to take home & very yummy

1 word- Flavor They weren't rated that well but the place was busy. Glad I checked it out. Servers were nice & attentive, food came out fast. Portions were HUGE and fairly priced (I have left overs & paid $20 including tax & 20% tip). Ambiance is a little nicer than a hole in the wall but you still kinda get that feel Spicy beef noodle was generous with tender meat and noodles. Broth was flavorful, spicy & garlicky.

i have ever eaten here may be around six years ago. decided to come here again and place is ok, but i think some seats need to be changed with the new ones. staffs and service are just ok. easy to find parking spaces too. for foods: i will say they are just ok. the cauliflowers is over cooked for me and i think if the bacon can be baked until a bit dry, it should taste better. green beans and lambs are just mediocre...

I haven't been here for a couple of years and the food is just as good as I remembered. Everything was fresh and tasty with good service.

We were being seated right the way by the nice big window table. I enjoyed the service there . Without asking , they gave us the serving chop stick , a pot of tea ( we requested Iron Buddha tea leaves) and an extra pot of hot water to keep the tea pot filled . We ordered the soup dumplings with fish mew in high soup . It tasted great . Many restaurants don't have this item or they made it not as good . The high soup is tasty and the ingredients had a lot of seafood and shrimp . Fish mew was good size . I wan impressed when we asked for small ceramic bowl to share the food , they gave us two heated bowls . Just like you wanted beer in the club and they gave you an iced mug . To keep the high soup and soup dumplings in high temperatures, it tasted better . We have the following dim sum : Steamed chicken feet in black bean suave with pork ribs 蒸鳳爪排骨 Pan fried shrimp dumplings with chives牛煎韮菜餃 Stairs fried sticky rice with dried shrimp and Chinese sausage , large size . I like this Koi Palace better than the one in Milpitas . It has much better customer services . Before the main dinning hall , it has many more rooms attached to the main dinning area. You can reserve rooms for private events or family gathering . You can also make reservations on line or by phone to reserve your table . So you dominates to wait , just walk up to the check in counter and bring seated . I usually make my reservations 3 days in advance to make sure I can get the large table. Each time father dinning , this Koi Palace give you a coupon ( % of your total price of the meal ) and you have 14 days to use it to pay for the next meal here . What a wonderful idea ! They had to take us out of the restaurant and reenter from the side of the building to go upstairs. The second floor looked just as nice, clean, and spacious. I might even prefer it because it's quieter, more peaceful, and just more comfortable overall. As for the food, most of what we tried was delicious. We ordered some staple dim sum items like pork siu mai and har gow, and both were really good. I also tried the shrimp and scallop dumplings, which are similar to har gow, and those were pretty tasty too. We also got the fried rice with salted fish, and it was made in a "yang chow" style, so it was rather pale in color, but don't let that fool you, because it was really flavorful. We also ordered their fried calamari, which was meh at best and was nothing special. That was probably my least favorite dish. We also got lo mai gai and deep fried taro dumplings filled with pork. Overall, the food was really yummy. The service was great too. The staff were attentive and quick to bring extra chili sauce and other condiments when we requested them. I'd definitely come back again.

I ordered 3 items from DoorDash today. Mango pudding, crab dumplings, and mapo tofu. The mango pudding was entirely missing from the order. The crab dumplings had zero traces of crab. They were filled with carrots, shrimp, mushroom. I searched carefully to see if there was even one sliver of crab meat, and I'm confident there was none. (The description was "Steamed dumplings filled with fresh crab meat") The worst thing about the "crab" dumplings sans crab was that they tasted terrible. Usually, regardless of dumpling type, I love them all. I am far from a picky eater. So making dumplings taste terrible is a rare feat. I powered through one of them but threw away the rest. The Mapo Tofu was unlike any Mapo Tofu I've ever tasted. It was a container of tofu pieces suspended in a thick sugary syrup. I couldn't eat them, they tasted so weird. I threw it all away. It's too bad because I was quite hungry and especially excited for the mapo tofu. I will not be ordering from here again.

When I brought it up and even pointed out the worker, the staff claimed they had no idea what I was talking about. At that point, I just let it go but honestly, it didn't get any better from there. Every dish we ordered was bland, lacked flavor, and wasn't consistent at all. To make matters worse, I noticed something concerning near the cashier. Pro-tip: For tea adventurers, try a fusion teapot (e.g. Chrysanthemum + Bo lay), combo tea flavors is different and neat when i crave for a different drink. I'll be back for sure. Hope you do too!
