Food and Service were great! Beautiful restaurant I had the pork chop and it was very good.

I made reservations did my boyfriend and I to have dinner here on Valentine's Day. We had a very difficult time finding parking due to all the construction downtown (added to the rainy weather made driving a hassle). It wasn't until we were leaving the restaurant that we noticed the entrance to the parking garage was on Washington (would need to be driving west bound to see the entrance). The restaurant is lovely, fairly spacious, with a large and inviting patio. If it hadn't been rainy, it would have been quite lovely to sit on the patio and see the lights around the city (the restaurant is upstairs). We were greated by a hostess who wasn't very peronsonable nor even acknowledged that we had a reservation but thankfully there was no issue being seated. The dining area is very pretty but the staff seemed to be in over their heads. Our drink orders were taken by one woman then we were given over to a very pleasant gentleman. It still took quite a while for our drinks to arrive. We knew we wanted to get an appetizer, the stuffed mushrooms, after reading about them on Yelp but it seemed like we were forced to tell the waiter that we were ready to order. He repeatedly came and left without taking our orders, even after we closed the menus and made it clear. Thankfully the stuffed mushrooms were delicious, there was so much cheese that it was difficult to even remove the mushrooms from the dish they're served in! And the sauce was so good that we ended up using the bread to wipe off every drop. My boyfriend ordered the parmesan chicken with alfredo sauce instead of marinara and I ordered the chicken masala with masala sauce instead of the marinara as well. I wish I had gotten the alfredo sauce instead, it was quite good. Both dishes also came out with a side of zucchini and squash thinly sliced and lacking much flavor at all. We enjoyed our meals but neither were worth the $23 price tags attached. The restaurant was a bit loud since there were so many people, and the music playing was some older rock (think Fallout style if you're a gamer, otherwise think 50's style). And the tables were sat so close together that if you're an eavesdropper, you'll be amply rewarded but otherwise doesn't feel very intimate. All in all I would say this place is worth visiting for happy hour but not really suited for a romantic dinner. The prices were steep, even for their more simple dishes and the service was lacking. We will likely not return, which is actually a shame because those stuffed mushrooms will be sorely missed but nothing else really stuck out. read more

Had a really great lunch with some friends at Mancuso's. Food and service were excellent. The ambiance was quiet and classy. This was our first time at the restaurant. We'll be back for sure. read more

I came here with a couple friends for restaurant week last week because their pre-fix menu looked good. I had a Caesar salad, the shrimp/scallops pasta, and then the dessert duo with a cannoli and tiramisu. The ambience was definitely one of fine dining, and I enjoyed the attentiveness of the staff and good service. The price was good for the restaurant week menu, but I will say that the food was lacking for me. I expected it to be amazing, but it was honestly just was like any other pasta/salad. The Brussels sprouts were very tasty and I could tell the quality of the shrimp and scallops were very good. I'm glad I came for the experience, but there are other places in the valley I personally would prefer. read more

Food was delicious and service was great as well as the atmosphere as the restaurant got busy but I the noise level was very low. They had gluten free pasta, which was great for one of our guests. Although we didn't go into the bar area, it was large and very nice. read more

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. The location was very convenient as we were working at the Convention Center and we walked there. I would go again. read more

Waited past our reservation time to be seated. Felt that they were under staffed; took a long time to have our orders taken and to receive them. Food was good, not like the "old Mancuso's". No idea why they moved locations either. Ambiance was just okay. Very disappointed. read more

What a great find - thanks Yelp!. I was the only customer in the restaurant at mid afternoon on a Wednesday. Downtown Phoenix resembles a ghost town. I had a six hour layover and jumped on the light rail from the airport to get here. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a steak dinner from the "Restaurant Week" menu. All of it worked, including the free bruschetta I got on the Yelp check in. Outstanding service. When I am in Phoenix again, I will return! read more

Close to the Arizona Center and Convention center. The food and service was great. You have an option to sit inside or outdoors with heaters for chilly nights. Will definitely eat there again when I return to Arizona. read more

I have the Gourmet Magazine of Good Living here, from March 1978.... clipping gourmet recipes. The only Advertiser from Arizona was Mancuso's (Fran's) Italian Gourmet Restaurant. 4622 North Seventh Avenue, 266-9594. $8.25 - $11.95. Where are you now? Still in the same location? Did them prices go up any? Smile read more

Amazing food! I had the Filet and someone else in my group had the Fettucine Alfredo and they were both spectacular!

Dined with a group of 8 yesterday evening. From the stuffed mushrooms and calamari appetizers to the veal chops, everything thing we ate we enjoyed immensely. The service was without a hitch, they read the table well and provided just the right amount of attention. When back in the area I will be sure to come back! read more

Went for the first time over the holiday weekend. Had the chicken marsala and the paella entrees. Not impressed with either. Will not be coming back. Parking downtown was a hassle too. read more

Popped in for our anniversary looking to try something new, and they did not disappoint. Mancuso's atmosphere has a little bit of everything for everyone. You could show up in a suit n' dress, or you could show up in a hoodie and Nike's. No one would really look out of place. The décor is very old school steakhouse-ish with tall secluded booths with deep cushions, yet contemporary enough with its light fixtures and style of chairs on the dining floor. The patio is very open with large sliding glass doors and an excellent view of the streets you're overlooking while still feeling secluded and tucked away on 3rd street. Music makes you feel like you should be discussing something important. We were talking about how much we hate work and that we'd hopefully not be super gassy later. That's four years of romance folks. Food was solid. Both of us did the specials of the day, sipped on martini's and started off with their shrimp cocktail and cheese tortelloni. The peas and walnuts in the tortelloni gave a nice texture while also adding to the richness of that buttery sauce. The server, Lisa, surprised us with an anniversary desert complementary from the house. Our cynical asses, being in the service industry, automatically wondered what's to stop someone from BSing a special occasion every time they go out. I mean, I have a degenerate friend named Ricky that has a birthday every time he goes out. And I partake in it with him. Talk about scum. Man. I feel like I need to repent. Wait. Never mind, feelings came and gone. Good tiramisu. Lisa also gave us her pen, just because we asked her where she had gotten it from. Chefs like a good knife. Models need quality animal ear filters. Losers up in Scottsdale like a balanced golf club and experienced sexual harassment lawyers. Servers like a good pen, what can we say. Thanks Lisa. You the real MVP. We weren't that gassy! read more

My Birthday Dinner was a major No Bueno here at Mancuso's.... We expected to pay a good penny for a "Good" meal and service but $300 dollars later for a Flavorless Steak dinner for two was awful! Even ordering a medium cut and asking for steak sauce to help it be somewhat more palatable did not help and then the Flavorless lobster to go with it No Thank you.... We will NEVER EVER COME HERE AGAIN nor would we recommend this place.... Make sure to ask what price their special is before you order because next thing you know it maybe $300 later.... Again, we expect to pay for the quality and service rendered however, it did not meet our expectation "especially " now a days where there are so many choices we do not desire to donate our money for the hell of it.... P.S. the older Woman in the front was scary and very cavalier. read more

Clean and pleasant decor with prompt service and good food. First time at any restaurant I always stick to the basics. Just apps at the bar so I had the Cesar's Salad, 2 meatballs with side of risotto. Nice. I will be traveling to Phoenix on business more often so I'll have the chance to try other menu items. read more

Great service!!!! Martini with blue cheese olives is a must! I had the salmon with linguine and it was amazing!

Love this place. I was in Phoenix for five nights and went to dinner there three times. The first two times were by invite and the third was on my own. I can tell you my steak was fantastic, cooked perfectly. I had the veal piccata and it was delicious. My service was outstanding. Particularly Jorge, was very helpful, informative, gracious and friendly. I could not asked for a better service or food. If I lived in Phoenix this would be a regular spot for me. I highly recommend it. read more

Really enjoyed the entire experience at Mancuso's! Great food and service and a great upscale atmosphere.

Great service and very nice food. Also beautiful interior. My lamb chops could have been a little more tender but we enjoyed the evening.

OK! Best service anywhere around! The food is always good but I've found the best thing ever - Osso Bucco! OMG! I may never eat anything else here! And it comes w/ risotto - favorite side dish ever! I've gone many time & tried different things but I've found my "go to". read more

An amazing fine dining experience in downtown Phoenix. We received the most excellent service from Rafael on 08/29/19, so if his supervisor is reading this, he deserves a raise. We live close to the city center, and have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time. We were planning to bring a friend as a treat for her birthday. She had to cancel, unfortunately, but we decided to go anyway. We had a reservation for 7pm, but I realized that there was a happy hour from 4 to 6. I called to change the reservation to 6, which was no problem. We arrived around 5:30 and enjoyed a happy hour cocktail in their beautiful bar/lounge. They have a number of food items on the menu as well, but we decided to save our appetites for our meal. We were seated at 6pm. After being seated, we decided we didn't care for the location of our table. We asked to be moved and they were super gracious and gave us a new table, in front of the front window, which is a great spot. Soon the bread arrived, a parmesan crusted white bread, with oil on the side, which was delicious. We ordered the Lobster Tail Oscar for an appetizer, and when it was brought out, we were impressed. It was beautifully presented, and it tasted even better than it looked. We had a difficult time deciding on our entrees, because everything sounded so good, and Rafael patiently answered all of our questions for us until we made our final decisions. I ordered one of the evening's specials, the Surf and Turf, which was a 6oz lobster tail and a 6oz Filet Mignon topped with Bearnaise, Gorgonzola mashed potatos, and seasonal vegetable, which was green beans and brussels sprouts. My girlfriend ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, but substituted risotto for the linguini. Both of our dishes were presented as beautifully as the appetizer, and both tasted heavenly. The Sea Bass was one of the best I have even tasted. I am somewhat of a steak snob, and my steak was not cooked to my liking, but when I voiced this, I was quickly given a replacement that was cooked perfectly. We had forgotten to tell them when we arrived at the restaurant that our birthday guest was unable to join us, so we had to apologize when a complimentary dessert arrived at the end of the meal. They gave us the dessert anyway, which was a yummy tiramisu. We had a fantastic experience at Mancuso's, and highly recommend it to others. We will definitely return to try the other dishes we had considered, we are certain they will also be amazing. read more

Ecellante service..food is magnificent.I love this place everytime I come..Wait staff does a great job

I took a some friends from vegas here and we all loved it. Three different dishes and everyone enjoyed the meal. Highly recommend

We just visited at 145 on a Tuesday. Hours posted are 11-4. The woman who greeted us acted as if we were a complete imposition. She said she's have to call a server over. That woman was very nice and prompt. We placed our drink order (no food) and were the only people in the entire place. It took like 20 minutes for two drinks!!! The greeter was the one to come and make them! The drinks were delicious, which is why 3 stars. read more

Classy, Excellent. I had tried this restaurant with delivery while recovering from COVID, which was amazing. I figured if it was still good after a 25-minute delivery, it must be good in person! I took my son/wife for his birthday with 4 month old, my other son, daughter-in-law's sister, hubby, and a 1-year-old. The service was wonderful and so accommodating for the babies. We had apps and dinners. Some amazing dishes included the grilled lamb and lobster diablo, I think? The bread to die for! Drinks fun. I will be sharing with friends about this place and will return. PS they have a parking garage for which they validate. It's upstairs near the convention center. I'm still new to phoenix, I would call and ask the name of the garage. We parked at Fry's and got a few things before leaving! read more

We were invited to attend the happy hour from this restaurant by my in-laws. The restaurant is located centrally near the baseball diamondbacks stadium. For being so close, on a Saturday, during happy hour, it was relatively empty. I ordered a Moscow mule and my husband ordered a whiskey on the rocks. My husband exclaimed that it tasted watered down and my Moscow mule was very sweet, they add syrup to the drink. Others in the party had purchased appetizers and wine. The red wine, Malbec, was said to be very wholesome and tasted very rich. They also ordered an ahi tuna appetizer that everyone exclaimed that they loved. I have included the menu and the Moscow mule I ordered. I liked the service and how clean everything was, but I don't know if we would go back unless we were in the area. read more

Lovely place for a family dinner. Staff was wonderful, parking is easy in the parking garage. Nice vibe.

Last year my colleagues and I went here 2 nites in a row for dinner. It was that good!!! Tonite, very disappointed. Both entrees were poor. Lobster Fra Diavolo was terrible. Sauce was watery and lobster was over cooked. There was so much calamari it should have been called calamari fra diavolo. My guest ordered vegetarian paella and she barely ate any of it. When I asked if she enjoyed it she said it was "ok...veggies seemed fresh". Maybe Wednesday nite there's a different chef? read more

I had visited the old Scottsdale location years ago and was excited to visit the newer downtown Phoenix location. Restaurant is very pretty with a romantic atmosphere which is what I wanted. Staff was friendly and professional. Food quality was excellent. Prices are fair for the quality and quantity of meals. I thought it slightly odd that they only give you half a piece of tiaramisu (no other choice and why half? ) for a special occasion. And iit was only ok... Enjoyed the evening though! read more

Spinach Arugula Quinoa Salad = Spinach, Spinach, Spinach and Spinach The reason why people like me order quinoa salads is because we like the Quinoa to fill us up with our greens. The Quinoa was MAYBE two tablespoons, like a decoration. If there was Arugula in it, I didn't see it. I'm not sure if it's because we order from the office express.com and the food is sub-par when they don't see the whites of our eyes, but really this is not a meal, this is some weird pile of left over Spinach....should a made a calzone with it or something instead. read more

We were very disappointed in the food last night. The pasta carbonara had the eggs scrambled, my angel hair pasta was overcooked and both of the dishes were very tasteless. The dishes are premade for sure, I passed by the kitchen and there was no cooking going on at all. The stove was not even on. When we ordered the appetizers, within the 5 minutes or less they were on the table. The prices are ridiculous in comparison with the quality of food. Our waitress was amazing though. The ambience was nice and quiet. read more
