I went as soon as they opened and it was nice and quiet. The bread was delicious. I came specifically for the clam linguini and I did not regret it. It was amazing! I would eat it again in a heart beat. I recommended the dish to a colleague and they went the following night and also said it was amazing. The service was prompt and attentive. I would definitely put this on my list when I visit Phoenix for work. read more

First dinner here and we enjoyed very much. Great menu, many choices but we were there for steaks. These are Black Angus midwestern grain fed, wet aged 28 days and hand cut in house. We started with the Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer that was delish, and then the Spinach, Arugula & Beet Salad. Highly recommend. The Wife's Filet was so tender and perfectly cooked, as was my New York Strip. Everything was terrific, service was great. We look forward to trying the Italian entrees on our next visit. BTW; Bathrooms were spotless. read more

I was in the mood for scallops and Mancuso's was the only place who had them. The service at the bar was so bad. I had to ask for a drink, menu, had to stop them so I could order dinner, refill, everyone got bread but me. I was literally ignored. The only person who asked was the Chef/Cook. I asked for a Manager, the lady who was at hostess table said she would take care of it. 2 stars, kudos to the cooks, food was delish. read more

I thought this would be better because it had four stars. The waiter highly recommended the clams in white sauce. He was friendly. Of the seven clam shells in my dish, four were unopened. Overall I thought everything was very average. My friend did say that her pork chop was tender. read more

Came here with a large group of friends. I loved the service we received, our server was very attentive and always made sure we were well taken care of. For appetizers for the entire table, we ordered the stuffed mushrooms, the escargot and calamari. For my entré I got the lamb shanks. Everything was Delicious and equally well prepared. Definitely coming back. read more

Excellent food and service. We had dinner reservations on a Saturday night and got seated as soon as we walked into the restaurant. One person in our party had a dairy allergy and they accommodated with no issues. I took friends from out of town and they were really impressed. It is a beautiful setting and we could converse through our dining experience in a quiet atmosphere and were not rushed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. read more

We were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to try Mancuso's. They are located on Washington between 2nd and 3rd street. We were trying to access the shopping center from Jefferson and we could not find an entrance. We walked North on Second and were able to access that area near the Taco Bell. We went there just for happy hour appetizers and desserts, and it was good and affordable. I think happy hour deals were only good in the bar, and reservations could not be made. There was a disclaimer that I cannot remember the details, something like if you made an OpenTable reservation you would not get happy hour pricing, or something like that. The food was good and the service was good as well. read more

We made reservations for 10. We ended up having 12 and they were able to add two chairs. We were seated in a lovely back room with windows and lots of light. The temperature was just right; not too cold or too hot. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the portions were decent. read more

I can't say enough about this place, we took my Mom here for her birthday to celebrate and the food was delicious, service was great and the atmosphere was perfect elegance. I had the escargot for an appetizer with a cucumber gimlet and main dish was fettuccine alfredo and a top off for the night tiramisu. Everything was awesome! Will for sure go back for a date night with my husband. read more

Loved this place! A group of 10 of us were looking for somewhere we could go on a Friday night where we wouldn't have to wait an hour and we ended up here. The restaurant is very nice on the inside and the patio, which is where we sat. When we came, they had a large enough table set up for us and the ambiance was very welcoming and gave you a small taste of Italy. We started with the calamari and it was delicious! Their marinara sauce seems homemade and it paired very well with the calamari and the bread they brought to the table. The bread had some kind of seasoning on it that was delicious and it was cooked to perfection with a hard crust and soft inside. We ordered a wide range of food from steak to pasta, salmon, vegetarian dish, etc. No one had any complaints. The food came out in good timing. They had a nice wine selection and the server was quite knowledgeable about the wines and the food. Although no one purchased any, their desserts looked wonderful! They ranged from cheesecake, creme brulee, cake, etc. I would definitely return to this place. They are a tad pricey but worth it. read more

Our server was really really good. Her drink suggestions were the best. This is a great restaurant. Fine dining at a good price.

Service was exceptional and overall environment was great. The food on the other hand fell below my expectations. I ordered the New York Strip with it being extremely tough and not enjoyable to eat. When I say tough I was literally sawing down this meat for a good 15 seconds just to get a bite size piece. My wife ordered the lobster risotto but the lobster smelled very fishy while the rest of the dish tasted great. The best tasting food we both had was the Gorgonzola potatoes which tasted absolutely delicious. read more

It was a pleasant eve and we opted for outdoor dining. Wait staff were pleasant with water glasses kept full. We ordered Veal Parmesan, Veal Marsala, Chicken Piccata and and a house special of halibut. Each dish came with creamy risotto or penne marinara and a veggie. Garlic bread comes out while you are waiting for your meal. The dishes were delivered quickly. Food portions are large and it would be nice if they had an option if a smaller portion for those who eat less. The food was good; nothing special that stands out though. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant eve. This is an adult fine dining restaurant. Families with children should consider another option. read more

Veal chop was a 4-5 star. Flourless chocolate cake was 4-5 star. Ceased Salad was 3 star. Mashed potatoes were pretty good. Air was stuffy. Wait staff tired. Took 30-40 minutes for entree to come out of the kitchen. Food was pretty good but I wouldn't go back because so many better options downtown PHX. read more

Great food, unbelievable service. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely returning!

The food is ok. The stuffed mushrooms were excellent. The linguini and clams sauce was so thin it was watery, and the clams were gritty. The veal piccata was nothing to write home about, but the risotto was perfect. The service was friendly. I just expected more authentic food from what is priced and advertised as a high-end Italian restaurant. read more

The food was good as always! Our server Nicole was great! I had the crab meat salad that was delicious.

Where do I even begin? We had an absolutely amazing "rooftop" dining experience at Mancuso's. Every member of the staff was so friendly, they made us feel right at home. Our server was amazing, the wine was good, the atmosphere divine. The food, however, is what stole the show. Bruschetta was as flavorful & amazing as you'd hope for. My lobster risotto was so good I crave it daily. I would LOVE to be a regular there, sadly I live in Oregon. I'll 100% go back next time I'm in the Phoenix area! read more

This is a delightful and memorable dining establishment in downtown Phoenix. The bar service, lead by Michael, was superb. I entered the bar area right after happy hour started and enjoyed a delicious meatball and risotto appetizer. Michael mixed up a very tasty Old Fashion that really hit the spot. We had dinner there last night and it was delicious. The only problem was the bread is so delicious I must have eaten a whole loaf - garlicky, buttery deliciousness! I ate here through uber eats. This is a cool little spot. I ordered the sweet potatoes with maple butter, Mac n cheese and the turkey meatballs. It was all delicious and better than expected- with so little reviews or pictures to sway me into dining here. I wasn't a huge fan of their meatballs, and I'm not quite sure why. I ordered their Lobster fra diavolo. It was so good. I ate leftovers for two days. The sauce was delicious, their was plenty of seafood along with the linguini, and it was great quality. Their calamari is pretty excellent as well. I will say though, that I always get the Cesar salad (usually for the next days to go lunch) and the mac N cheese with sweet potato mash Tonight, I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken.... such moist chicken and big shavings of Parmesan with real lettuce leaves. I also am trying their tiramisu dessert. I will let you know how that is! I love Italian food and am excited to come eat here In person to try the more exquisite dishes like osso bucco or the mussels. I'm also obsessed with their Mac n cheese. For some reason it's addicting! I have now ordered their tiramisu three time. It is light, fluffy and has a kick of espresso at the end like true tiramisu. read more

We had a company event with about 30 people on a Friday evening. I can't say enough about how fantastic our experience with Mancuso's was. The reservation process for a large group was far simpler than any other venue we've been. The service was exceptional with plenty of friendly, helpful wait staff, which if you book large groups, you know it can be difficult! The food was AMAZING. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside, and the tiramisu was perfection. read more

Anniversary dinner. Close to the house. It was ranked #2 under Romantic Dinners according to Yelp. The service was meh. The napkins were dirty. Inside it's a nice contemporary look. The food, was just mediocre. I thought it would be amazing, you know, heard a lot about the place. It turned out to be generic, basic, and...I'm 47, my parents would love this place. read more

Disappointing, particularly given the otherwise strong Yelp reviews. It's rare for me to disagree so much with the Yelp average but in my mind this place was 2.5 to 3 stars and I rounded up to 3 because of the friendly service. The place is pretty, a few too many booths and too few tables for my taste. But overall the ambiance was nice. The service was great. The problem here is the food. The stuffed mushrooms -- not hard to make mind you -- were swimming in Alfredo sauce. Why? On the menu it said there was Alfredo sauce but no I didn't imagine an Alfredo sauce soup with a few inverted stuffed mushrooms drowning in it. I went off-menu and asked for escalope of veal Milanese. Since they had a pork chop Milanese on the menu I figured it was no big deal. When it comes, it's swimming in cream sauce. Hint: Milanese means pan fried with breadcrumbs only. No sauce. Maybe a half a lemon. The Veal Parm wasn't any better. The bruschetta was particularly weak. Nice place, nice people, darn shame about the food. read more
