Maison Alyzee has a beautiful selection of high-end desserts, and the tiramisu was delicious. However, my experience with the coffee was a bit disappointing. They were out of cold brew, and I was told it was too busy to make a drip coffee, so I ended up ordering an espresso instead. Unfortunately, it was very dark and bitter, and I didn't enjoy it. The desserts are definitely a highlight.

Parking: free, street parking Maison Alyzée has two locations : Mountain View and Burlingame. Founded in 2018 by Lyon native Laurent Pellet. Fun fact: Alyzée" is the name of the owner's daughter. It boasts marble counters, bistro-style tables, and outdoor seating on Castro Street to mimic the South of France. The owner recruited pastry chefs who relocated from France specifically for this endeavor. They also have monthly flavor, for example for May 2026: "Strawberry Bliss" cake. I totally recommend: mixed berry tart, coffee eclairs. The cakes and pastries are on the higher end price, perfect to surprise someone's birthday or special occasion or even to brighten your day with high quality artisan bakeries goods.

Found dessert heaven in Mountain View. The Harmony cake at Maison Alyzée is nextlevel rich n the Strawberry Bliss is light and delicious n a fresh espresso shot ties it all together. Beautiful presentation and amazing flavors definitely a must try spot!

Walked in around 8:30pm, craving a pastry. Definitely found the right spot. What stood out to me was a sign that said "French Butter croissant". The owner graciously explained all their pastries (pain au chocolat, crossiant, etc) are made from french butter and french chocolate and that no other bakeries really use french butter. He said there r only 2 truly french bakeries in SF and 1 in Oakland and one here which is his own bakery. I bit into the pain du chocolat and it was deeelicious. I love all the layers in the crossiant and a hard crunch with delicious chocolate in the middle. So flaky and buttery. Wow we went back for another so i can enjoy one for breakfast. Thank u Elie for the great insights and pastries!! Made my night :)

I got a chance to try some of the pastries from Maison Alyzee because some were brought into work. I tried the savory pastry which was had ingredients similar to that of a pizza. The pastry was flakey and buttery. The chocolate Croissant was just as buttery and flakey with a sweet chocolate filling. I am looking forward to visiting the bakery and check it out personally now that I sampling of what they have to offer.

Really lovely French style patisserie with a variety of flavors and textures of pastries and cakes! One of my go to's for higher end cakes during special occasions :D Owners and chefs and staff are all very sweet and accommodating and you can tell they genuinely love their craft and sharing it with the community! They have rotating seasonal items and also accept ordering larger cakes through online orders or by calling in! Their 100% pistachio cake is amazing - not too sweet and the pistachio flavor really comes through but doesn't overpower. Very creamy texture that isn't too heavy and has a fun, crunchy outer shell. The matcha raspberry is also nice and balanced - matcha flavor complements well with the raspberry gel / jam inside and is mellowed out by the cream. Inside is very chic and great place to chat and catch up over a cup of coffee and even get some work done - water station and wifi is inside.

I came by the Chinese bakery but they were closed. Maison Alyzee was next door and had no line. It was the first time I could go in easily and see a full line of desserts they had. I love desserts and the French are number one in that category. I came from Yutori after buying so much that I squeezed in Madison's dessert, Padova Mandarin Yuzu. The clerk said it needs to refrigerate promptly or else eat right away. I had no choice but to stop by the library's park and eat that along with my tuna egg sando from Yutori. The Yuzu dessert was cool and refreshing. It's good to pair with tea. I'll have to come back and try more desserts. They all look so good to try.

Came by for some pastries the other day and it was a decent experience. After spending some time in Paris where bakeries are on every other street corner, I had high hopes! Their desserts looked great and were rather pricey, compared with Paris. The quality of the pastries were ok, although the ones in Paris were much much better. Staff were friendly and cordial.

OK spot for a sweet treat! We had dinner prior at Doppio...so by the time we got around to Maison, they only had a limited variety available. Nice ambiance inside, with some seating.

Downtown Mountain View is a great area to window shop and walk around to try new spots. I was able to drop by Maison Alyzee because of their pastries. I recommend knowing what you want before getting in line since you pick out pastries on the spot. The workers were super friendly and quick to pack our order. They were sweet to also helped us set up a table (outdoor seating)! We ordered the Passiano, Coffee Eclair, Matcha Raspberry, Lemon Tart, and Pistachio Cake. All of the desserts were yummy and easy to share. I definitely recommend the Matcha Raspberry. I would visit again and try other pastries!

We Ordered this to go, and it was a treat; I personally loved the pistachio tart; and my husband loved their coconut pineapple tart and chocolate passion. They were all sweet, and rich, but delicious for a once in a while indulgence treat. The chocolate for me was 4/5; super unique Coconut pineapple tart was 3.5/5 Pistachio 5/5 but it's rich and heavy! Overall great spot

I finally stopped by this bakery after dinner after passing by so many times and am glad I did! Overall, if you are looking for a spot that serves high quality desserts that look fancy, this is a great option. The interior is small and gives a Parisian aesthetic and would be a cute spot to grab a coffee and pastry with a friend. Matcha Raspberry: as someone who doesn't like desserts too sweet, I really enjoyed this. The matcha cake was really moist and light at the same time. The raspberry jam was super tart and thus some might think it was overpowering in comparison to the matcha, but I did think it was a nice punch. The matcha cream on top was my favorite. It was super light and surprisingly had a strong, deep matcha flavor. This was my favorite of the 3. Coffee eclair: I thought that this would be my favorite as a coffee lover but it fell a little flat for me. The cream smelled more strong in coffee flavor than it actually tasted. The pastry was also a bit dense and soft, which was probably attributed to the time of day so I don't fault them for that. I would be willing to try this again but overall it wasn't my favorite. Tiramisu: I love tiramisu but admit that it can be very rich and too sweet at times but I was so surprised with this one. The best description for it was that it was very light in texture (almost cloud like) which was definitely welcomed. It also wasnt too overpoweringly sweet. I do wish that the coffee flavor was more pronounced. It mostly just tasted a lot like chocolate and cream. Be careful of the cocoa powder in top though! I definitely almost choked . This was my second favorite. I would definitely be interested in trying out their other desserts and look forward to that in the future :)

We love escargot and this was no exception. We also got the french onion soup which normally im not a fan of but this was delicious! The flavor was very balanced. I got the chicken and my husband got the filet mignon. You can tell the chef def used some techniques to make this meal with a lot of care. Lots of high end restaurants cant even manage over drying poultry or any meat, much less serve multiple dishes together at once without compromising the other. The chef here was on his own that night and served both meals hot with the perfect temperature, presentation and flavor profile. The entrees were delicious. Not only that but even the sides are worth mentioning. The texture of the potato is cooked in a different style, again not dry. Even the tomatoes were cooked in some way that didnt overboil it. But the service is great (even/especially for the after dinner wine as their "bar" is quite small). I came on a Saturday afternoon during the short heatwave we had and therefore sat on the covered patio, which was by no means fancy, but it was doable. This is known as a French bistro of sorts but the brunch menu was very breakfast heavy in my opinion (not necessarily a bad thing), with eggs, French toast, omelets etc. We had the mussels and frites to start and my friends both had an "eggs" plate. One was a breakfast special and the other Steak & Eggs. I have been on a pasta kick for a bit so decided to try the Pasta de Mer. Portion sizes are good to a lot- I had enough to take home. They have great French bread and some good coffee varieties. My friends come here often for brunch so I was intrigued to try it. The patio was standard but I have read/heard the inside is very nicely decorated in a French bistro theme and I do recall this when I had after dinner wine there as well. The dishes were well-prepared, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. The overall ambiance was also enjoyable, making it a nice spot for a dinner out. Unfortunately, the experience took a concerning turn at the end of the meal. Our bill came out to $86.42, and I handed my credit card to the waiter. Within seconds (thanks to my card alerts), I received a notification that $103.92 had been charged. When the waiter returned with the receipt, there was no mention of any discrepancy. After waiting a few minutes to see if it would be addressed, I brought it up myself. The waiter appeared flustered and then claimed he had accidentally charged me for someone else's food. That explanation didn't align with the itemized bill I was given, which made the situation feel questionable. He assured me that it would be corrected and that I should see the adjustment in a few days, which I'll be watching closely. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of transparency and the fact that it wasn't proactively disclosed is what left a bad impression. Being overcharged without explanation -- and having to catch it myself -- is not something I expect when dining out. I'd consider coming back for the food, but I'd definitely be more cautious when it comes to the bill.

The environment had a nice dim moody atmosphere. It was quite an intimate space and the interior was cozy. We decided to sit at the bar. The service was good. It's a first come first serve seating. Our server worked quickly to get us seated and we were handed menus. As soon as I saw the menu, I think it was right for this to be called a French Californian restaurant because I noticed not all the items on the menu were French. Some restaurants call it French when it's really French fushion. We decided to share poulet roti knowning that the portions were going to be American. It was perfect for 2 people. I don't know how 1 person could have devoured the entire plate themselves. What I really appreciated about this dish is that the chef didn't over dress the salad. I'm not sure why Americans like to drench their salad leaves in sauce to the point where the dressing is all you tasting leaving out the fresh ingredients. It was perfectly dress. Not too much not too little, just enough to lightly coat the salad leaves. The poulet was very well cooked and it was accompanied by a side of gravy. On top of that, the salad come with decent sized crutons and pork belly. I like how the chef made the crutons properly. Some restaurants thinly slice some bacon and sprinkle it over the salad; whereas, this restaurant had pork belly shaped the same size and shape as the crutons which added more texture and flavor to the salad. Both ingredients blended very well into the salad to the point where I didn't know if the bite I had taken had a cruton or a pork belly. Throughout our meal, our server made sure we were well accommodated asking for feedback and inviting us to have drinks/dessert. This is definitely worth it and I would return here again!

Definitely a unique one and fun to try. service is fantastic Really cozy place, great food, and definitely somewhere I'd come back to.

I don't eat Austrian food, so it was good to try it out here!…read more I came with a group of friends for a weekend lunch and there was no wait. I got the pork blade chop for my entree and it was so good! The portion was huge as well, and I wasn't expecting that. My friend got the steak and fries, apparently the fries are very well done -- crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was friendly and quick. Ambiance feels cozy but also fancy as well.
