For a coffee place outside of downtown Mountain View, it's a good spot for meeting up. There are indoor seating and tables, but their patio seating is nice too, if the weather is nice and sunny. Love love love this place!! I originally stumbled upon this place on Grubhub/Seamless, and I've had consistently great experiences, so I decided to check this out in person. What an experience!!! This may be my new favorite coffee shop to work from in South Bay! The entire shop is so festive! There's a small area where you can purchase different gifts and cards, including super cute 3-D pop-up cards. There was holiday music playing softly in the background, and plenty of people were hanging out and getting work done. They have so many food options too... I tried the gingerbread chai, and it was amazing! There was plenty of staff, and service was really quick! I'll go back another day and try some of their actual food as well. Ps. Stopped by here to catch up on some work before a meeting and love the vibe it has. It reminds me of coffee shops from the 90's and early 2000s in the best possible way. They have treats in the case, lots of different drink options, and even shelves of gift items for sale. It reminds me of the gifts my grandparents would get me and they probably purchased them while standing in line at a coffee shop like this. It is so cute and cool at the same time. There is ALOT of inside seating and there are some outlets scattered around which is great for WFH people like me. The staff is kind and helpful, they directed me to the bathroom multiple times since I didn't understand it was actually IN the back room by the beans. Thank you for your help ladies! I stopped here to get a coffee and read earlier. I ordered the iced peppermint mocha. I had never been here before and it looks like a popular neighborhood hangout. There was some sort of knitting club going on and all of the tables inside were taken, so I sat outside, and most of those tables filled up too. The drink was just alright. I probably won't come back for the coffee, but the drink was made fast and they have a cute selection of books and gifts. There is plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall. I was impressed with their espresso, I'm usually quite picky. This did not need to be washed down with additional milk or anything like that. The place is open with a nice ambiance, it is good for working or studying. Visited midweek, and parking was a bit rough with a full lot in the plaza. But the place was awesome and had such a delightful and inviting atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating, and friendly and attentive staff, with minimal waits on a Thursday. I got the egg muffin melt with sausage, as well as an iced mocha no whip. Both items were delish, the sandwich particularly better than expected, with yummy melted cheese, a savory breakfast sausage patty, and a soft buttery english muffin holding it all together nicely. What's more, I was pleasantly surprised that this cafe consists of a gift shop as well. Yup, they fit more than just tables and seating inside. The display of adorable popup greeting cards stood out to me. But other merchandise for sale included stationery, puzzles, books like aesop's fables, cute gifts for kids like an animal-themed memory match game and activity sets that encourage creativity, and even USB cables. Great coffee shop with excellent drinks. A really incredible drink to try is the gingerbread chai, which was so good that we felt eager to try seconds. Their raspberry white chocolate mocha and hazelnut praline latte are also incredible. The service is efficient. The decorations for Christmas are nice, and several intriguing holiday items are also for sale. WiFi is easy to connect to and fast. read more

Short review since we were in and out pretty quick. We were waiting to be seated for a restaurant in the same plaza and noticed this coffee shop in the corner so we decided to drop by for a quick caffeine fix. We noticed there were a lot of things that were available to be purchased other than coffee and snacks. Some things to mention were stationary and greeting cards. I saw on the menu that they had a marshmallow latte so I decided to try it and also requested to have it with soy milk. There were a lot of little snacks as well so we decided to also try their banana bread, creme brulee bar, cream cheese muffin, and carrot cake. When I got my marshmallow latte, I was super excited for it but unfortunately it didn't taste like marshmallows at all. It pretty much just tasted like an iced coffee with a slight hint of vanilla. The snacks we got were pretty good! I liked the creme brulee bar the best! I don't think we would come back for any coffee anytime soon, but we would come back for more snacks! read more

This is a lovely coffee shop with cute interior decor. There is plenty of seating in this cafe. There is also lots of parking. There is an extensive menu and many different specialty flavors. I got the hazelnut praline latte and that was amazing. It was sweet and nutty which complimented the espresso excellently. It was a bit difficult to decide with all the choices, so I guess that means I just have to come back and try some more. Staff is super friendly and will answer your questions like what the trick or treat flavor is (marshmallow and something else, I forgot). Clocktower is a cozy coffee shop, but after a few visits, I'll probably not return again. First, some positives. It's a very charming spot with nice decor and even some assorted items for sale. The staff are friendly and swift. The menu is extensive, with a notably broad selection of lattes & mochas. Unfortunately, after sampling a bit of the drinks I've realized I'm just not a fan of the coffee. There are other cafes even in Mountain View that I think serve better quality, even if they may not have as many syrups in stock. Speaking of the syrups, they can be hit-or-miss. The "banana" in the Banana Nut Latte was more fragrance than flavor, and the Almond Zebra Mocha tasted a bit too artificial for my liking. Unlike me, one of my friends is a regular at Clocktower, and he loves both the drinks and snacks on offer. So, I think it's worth checking this place out at least once to know if you're into it. At least it's better than supporting the big chains ;) read more

The coffee here is decent, and it's a nice spot to hang out. I ordered a hot almond latte, but it was a bit lackluster compared to other cafes. The almond milk wasn't mixed well with the shot. Still, local shops always have a charm that beats out the chains for me. read more

I happened to visit this coffee place by random but really liked it! The staff is friendly and nice. I ordered latte, and it was prepared within minutes! The coffee itself is rather good. There are also some pastries available if you want something sweet with your drink. There are other options accept coffee like chai tea latter or lemonade. There is also a small gift shop inside the Clocktower where you can find cute postcards, pins, etc. The parking is quite spacious but can be limited during busy hours. read more

Absolute disgrace. My pregnant wife went in and asked them for water. She had no wallet with her and I was still parking the car. She was told he can't have even a glass of water without paying. When she told them she would pay once I come in, they laughed at her face and told her thats not their problem. This place doesn't care about the wellbeing of their customers. Nice coffee place in a strip center. I came to see if I could do which was to have iced coffee. They had several types of drink. I went for their iced latte. It was good and hit the spot. They also have goodies. Like a donut, which I was surprised to see. Yes, I went for it. As good as Dunkin in my opinion. Service was excellent and I wasn't in a rush unlike some other places. I definitely recommend this place. However parking is a challenge there are businesses in the strip center. I would recommend parking at Dollar Tree which is just adjacent to this cafe and walking over. read more

We visited Clocktower Coffee on a Sunday (late) morning and found it pretty busy. The interior was spacious with lots of cards and gifts for sale, and plenty of indoor seating. They also had a (dog friendly) outdoor seating section in front of the entrance. The menu had many seasonal items and the friendly girl at the counter was happy to provide recommendations. I chose the Banana Nut Latte (with an extra shot of espresso) and my friend ordered the Spring Lavender Latte. We also both got the Quiche Florentine. Service was pretty quick and my latte was excellent - it definitely needed that extra shot of espresso, but the flavor was tasty. The quiche was also great and surprisingly filling. Overall, I liked this place, but the pricing was a bit excessive - the small quiche was $8.72 alone. Would probably return though! read more

I'm always looking for new coffee spots in the Bay to try, and I found this place today when looking for spots in Mountain View. I saw reviews for their banana nut latte, and I knew I had to try it! Upon entering the shop, I felt a nice homey vibe. The inside of the shop has a number of tables, and makes it great if I ever wanted to work out of a coffee shop one day. They have a menu dedicated to specialty lattes, with close to 10 different flavor combinations! I stuck with getting the Banana Nut Latte and boy did it really taste like banana nut bread! Each sip really carried the essence of banana nut without being overwhelming in flavor. Absolutely delish! I know I want to try other flavors, but I think I'll forever be hooked on banana nut - I mean, how many other spots offer that as a flavor?! read more

This is probably one of the top unique coffee shops I've been to. I've passed by it several times and finally found the time to stop by. It's a really big location which is always a plus for me when it comes to coffee shops because I really like to sit and do work while enjoying my coffee. Of course right now due to COVID I can't do that, but knowing that it is a possibility for the future gets me excited. I ordered the zebra cold brew latte and I really enjoyed it. I felt that I got a taste of the dark chocolate, and it didn't overpower the drink itself. I thought the concept of the drink was really cool and enjoyed the variety of specials being offered. Service: I went in today (Mon 10/14/24) around 10am to get a little cup of whip cream for my pup. Normally the owner is more than happy to do that but today the woman behind the register told me "next time you pay .50 cents for that." It's almost like she was telling me this because I was inconveniencing her OR she doesn't like dogs.
