One of the best steakhouses for your money in Las Vegas. A little out of the way but 100% worth it.

Austrian white wine

Pricey restaurant, worth every penny. Started with exceptional bacon appetizer, then the tomahawk for 2 with potato au gratin and charred corn. Great selection of wines, tried an exceptional austrian white. Bartender mixed good strong drinks, not watered down. Waitress very knowledgeable about menu, took care with our gluten free guest. Definitely going back.

I read blogs and tons of reviews to find a place to celebrate a milestone birthday. I wanted the food to be amazing, service to be great and a beautiful space. Yelpers were absolutely correct with their assessment of Mae Daly's. All of the dishes we had were amazing. We had filet mignon, a porterhouse, the chicken, French onion soup, the corn, asparagus, potatoes au gratin, mushrooms, chocolate soufflé, chocolate mousse cake and tres leches. Everything was delicious.

Mae Daly's is an old-school steakhouse located close to the Strat in a standalone building. The service is absolutely fantastic and my steak was prepared perfectly. My visit to Mae Daly's was a great overall experience.

I came to Vegas for a Tennis event and wanted to go to a place that I haven't been to yet. I wanted some where nice but not too far priced. After looking at the reviews and the pricing , availability I came up with Mae Daly's. The place wasn't too far down the Strip which I had to worry about since I didn't rent a car this time. Short trip. I took a Lyft here and it was an average price to get here. It has a parking lot so there is parking If you need it. The place is right down from the Strat. When I walked into the place.. wow it was really old school and very romantic. I loved it and so did the wife. The look was really classy and stylish. I of course had made a reservation and this was just at dinner time. 6PM. There were a lot of people already here. The hostess gave us three tables to pick from all of them close to the door which isn't a nice place to sit. However, the seat we did pick was a love seat against the front window. It was so romantic and lovely. Perfect for a night out with the wife. Our waitress introduced herself and asked what kind of water we wanted. I asked for a Scotch and or Cognac list. I didn't see anything that tickled my fancy so i asked if they had Remy and if they had XO, neat of course. She brought me back a snifter. We were eating all day so we picked light. The wife wasn't to hungry. I got the bone in ribeye and she got the mushroom risotto. Everything was fantastic and so flavorful. Just the right size for us that night. It didn't look like much but we were stuffed. Had to look at the dessert menu. our server recommended the Tre Leches Cake. it was one of their favorites and of course scratch made. It was wonderful. Loved every bite. This place was perfect and we had such a good time. We will have to come again and get more to eat hahaha. They have a large bar room but I didn't venture over to it. This is a lovely place.

4.5 stars rounded up to 5. Quality/Quantity - I got the 5 o'clock pre-fixed dinner. What a great deal, $89! Good deal especially since the 8oz fillet alone is $79 on the regular menu. Chopped Salad - I think I should have gotten the caesar salad. After the fact, I read many good reviews about the caesar salad. The chopped salad was not bad, just not special. My wife ended up eating most of it. Prime Filet Mignon 8oz - Medium rare, cooked perfectly. Well, it may have been a little more rare than I would normally prefer, but this was cooked so tender that it melted in my mouth! I would happily get this again! The shoestring fries and cauliflower were also cooked perfectly. And I do not even like cauliflower?!?! NY Cheesecake - My choice of dessert, and my favorite of the 3 desserts. My wife got the following: Mediterranean Branzino - Again, cooked perfectly! Even the crispy skin was so good. Chocolate Mousse Cake - My wife enjoyed this. As light eaters, we had a hard time finishing all the desserts. Complimentary corn bread and croissants - Both of which were fresh and amazing! My wife actually asked for seconds. Complimentary Cannolis - Good. Glass of Daou Cabernet to wash my steak down. Ambiance - Huge location. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Bar seating, etc. We got a very nice private booth but it was next to the front door. So every time someone came in and out, we felt the LV night COLD breeze... Next time, I will request to be further away from the door; I am sure they would have been happy to accommodate it. Nice decor; see pictures. Semi open kitchen. Dress code = Vegas casual. Open 5 days a week from 5pm till 10pm or midnight. Closed Sunday & Monday. Clean restrooms. Service - The waiter was so professional. Sorry, I forgot his name. The door greeter was also friendly. The manager was welcoming. The owner even stopped by for a second to say hi. Free valet parking; we did not use it. We took ride share. Price - $175 + generous tip. Good value for what we got. Owner Comment - Congrats on your new restaurant since June of 2024.

We were just walking by when we stumbled upon this restaurant, zero research. I think this was the best meal I've ever had! The steak was charred and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were truly the best I've ever had. Service was very nice and friendly, though she didn't know the full capability of the bar. The bartender really knew what he was doing. We got lemon drop martinis and raspberry lemon drop and they were just perfect, again the best I've had. The cornbread was dry and overcooked that's my only criticism. Loved the wall colors and ambiance.

I'm struggling tremendously with this review because I REALLY wanted to love this place and had high hopes going in as it's an independent non-casino restaurant in a hopefully gentrifying north-Strip area. Unfortunately the food flavors were not up to par in many areas and the price point definitely isn't supported by the food experience. To start with the very good aspects - the service is phenomenal. We dined with another couple on a Tuesday night and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Everyone greeted us with a smile and they went out of their way to be attentive in every way from promptly clearing plates, delivering food, filling water glasses etc. The restaurant interior is in a super cute speakeasy theme which we loved. For the purposes of this review I'm only going to comment on the food I ordered as I didn't taste everything on the table. They offer a complimentary bread service of cornbread and a croissant which is always appreciated. I ordered the French onion soup as an appetizer and it was a lovely presentation encased in lots of delicious melty cheese. However the soup itself was absolutely flavorless. It didn't taste bad per se, it was just so watery I had to dump copious amounts of salt into it from the shaker on the table just to get anything remotely resembling what should be a deep unctuous broth. For my entree I ordered the salmon and I advised the server to please request the kitchen to not overcook it. When in arrived and I took my first bite I could immediately tell it was dry and way overdone. Just a big disappointment for a $48 piece of fish. I will say that one of the other people at our table ordered the filet and I was able to try a piece and it was quite good. I guess it's my fault for ordering fish at a steakhouse... The sides we ordered were hit or miss. Mushrooms were well prepared and actually seasoned properly and the roasted carrots had a nice glaze with a crunchy nutty garnish. The baked potato was a baked potato - nothing special and the steak fries were not good. Brutally undercooked and tasted like they could have come frozen out of a bag. For dessert we shared the chocolate soufflé which was just ok. Again it lacked a ton of flavor. They also served each of us a complementary mini cannoli which, ironically, was probably the tastiest thing I ate all night. Again I hate to leave a negative review for a locals place like this but the food, while utilizing quality ingredients for the most part, is lacking in flavor to the point that we won't return. Dinner for four was $567 before tax and tip which included three cocktails, two glasses of wine, four each of appetizers, entrees and sides and one shared dessert. Honestly if the food had been seasoned properly it would be a fairly reasonable total.

Went to Mae Daly's around 530pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was pretty empty. The entrance was a little confusing. There were 2 places that could have been the host stand, but no one was there to check us in. We waited a few seconds and a woman on a knee scooter came to check us in. She asked if we'd like the bar area or the dining room, we chose the bar. It took a bit for someone to bring us drink menus, we ordered Sazerac's. They are our favorite, and it's hard to find a place that makes them right. They were perfect! Our server brought us dinner menus, however, online, it showed a 5 o'clock menu available for our reservation. ( 89.00) We asked if it was still available and he said yes, and then brought a different menu over. My husband and I both ordered the special menu. It was quite a lot of food. I got the chopped salad ( very fresh and very tasty), an 8oz filet ( perfectly cooked at medium rare) 2 sides( I asked only for 1 because it was way too much food) mashed potatoes, and a desert ( cheesecake) which I ended up declining at the end. ( again, too much food for me!) My husband got the same entree, but a Caesar salad, creamed spinach, fries and a chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious! What a great deal for that amount of food! The service was good, the food was great, the music playing in the background was perfect for the theme. We will likely be back! Definitely recommend!

My husband and I had dinner at Mae Daly's in Las Vegas, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. From the warm greeting at the door to the attentive service throughout the evening, everything felt welcoming and polished. The restaurant has a cozy, classic Las Vegas atmosphere that feels both charming and timeless. The menu features elevated Americana cuisine, and the steaks were excellent. We chose the prix fixe menu, available with the 5 PM reservation, which included a salad, entrée, two sides, and dessert -- a great value and a perfect way to experience several menu items. A special thank you to our waitress, Taylor, and bartender, Tommy, who made the night even more enjoyable with their friendly and attentive service. If you're looking for a classic Las Vegas dining experience with great food and exceptional hospitality, Mae Daly's is definitely worth a visit.

Bacon Sampler - must try! $35

I'm really torn on this one! Let's start from the beginning...plan to Valet Park (no self parking). Didn't have my Tesla key with me so was allowed to park it myself. Valet guy was extremely friendly and nice about it. Outside shares a lot with a lodge of sort (old motel) and across from the Strat so not the cleanest areas of town. Several homeless wandering the area (sad problem in Vegas). Once inside were a bit confused where to check in. Lady with a rolling leg brace thingy was to the left and didn't exactly acknowledge us but we determined she was the hostess. A gentlemen came toward and greeted us, then she said hi and took my name to verify our reservation. Seated at a cushy couch with big table we had to push around to get in/out (restroom visits, etc). While nice for a lounger, not the greatest to eat a meal at. Place is decorated perfectly, very clean and lovely ambiance. Staff was ver friendly BUT...for a Saturday at 5:30-7:30 it felt they were understaffed. The gentlemen that treated us is clearly the manager, doubling as bartender, tripling as water boy. Ok, the food... Bread service - this one is weird. One piece of cornbread and one croissant per person. Odd pairing indeed and even more odd bread choice for a steakhouse. Bacon Sampler - is a must try! 5 different flavored strips + a bacon jam. Excellent. French Onion Soup - it's different. Heavy rosemary/thyme flavor profile. So, very savory, not sweet at all like most French onions. Not bad, just different. Reminded me of a turkey dinner soup. Wild mushroom side - my wife's thing, not mine. She said it wasn't a $15 side, just OK. The steak - we went for the wet aged boneless ribeye. Couple things....the COOK was perfectly as ordered, medium rare plus. Nailed it! The seasoning....another weird one. It was good but the strange thing, the taste of the ends reminded me of the smell if you've ever followed a big rig full of cows on the highway or driven near Kettleman City on I-5 in CA. the center pieces were great! Dessert - chocolate soufflé. Good! Cannoli - provided free, even better! Cocktails - good. Nothing to write home about. Overall friendly service, nice atmosphere, and decent food. But didn't wow me and not sure what all the hype is I've seen online. Here's my listing of steak houses we've tried thus far in our ranking of best to worse in prior 18 months, primarily based on food quality. Service has been pretty outstanding at all. Don's Prime @Fontainebleau Barry's Downtown Prime @Circa (Fremont) Oscar's @Plaza Hotel (Fremont) Joel's Chophouse (West Sahara) Peter Luger @Caesars Hugo's Cellar @4 Queens The Steak House (Circus Circus) Golden Steer (West Sahara) Mae Daly's (near Strat) Herbs and Rye (West Sahara) Bavette's @Park MGM Echo and rig in Tivoli Village (Summerlin)

Mae Daly's is one of those rare places in Las Vegas that manages to feel both upscale and genuinely welcoming. A locals best kept secret. The atmosphere is warm and classic, with the kind of comfortable elegance that makes it perfect for anything from a nice dinner out to celebrating something special. The food is outstanding. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and clearly made with quality ingredients. The steaks are seriously the BEST steaks in town! The sides and appetizers are just as impressive. When you go, definitely try the bacon tasting! (Can't believe I didn't get a picture of it!) It's a fun and surprisingly elevated way to start your evening. With different flavors and preparations that set the tone for the whole meal, you'll thank me later. What really stood out though was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. They made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. The owner even came by to introduce himself. In a city full of restaurants, Mae Daly's stands out for getting the basics right: great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to and recommending to friends.

Took my husband here for his birthday and we were not disappointed. The ambiance is amazing, you can tell each piece of decor was selected with care. The food was out of this world! Definitely try the bacon flight as an appetizer. Depending on which table you sit at, you can watch the chef flambe your food! The staff was very nice and accommodating for my food allergies. The cocktails were delicious. The owner even came by and cracked some jokes that had us rolling It's a little pricey, but that's to be expected for a steak house of this caliber. You get on-Strip atmosphere for off-Strip prices. Absolutely worth every penny! We'll be back for another date night!

It is a nice restaurant so I would recommend smart casual or dress up a little of you are sitting in the restaurant. It will add to the experienced. In the bar area only or super early dinner, nice neat casual.

It's definitely worth it. The goat cheese spread tasted great with the salad. The salad also comes as a big portion. The salmon was huge and perfectly moist. I got the foie gras on French toast. It had the perfect amount of salty and tart sweet flavor with the blackberry-cherry sauce. It comes as an appetizer, but because it's so good, I don't recommend sharing since the portion is so small. I got the spicy seafood pasta, and it was amazing! It had the perfect amount of spice and it comes with a hefty amount of seafood along with a whole big lobster tail! The shrimps that it came with were also huge and there were plenty of calamari and octopus with the pasta. This dish was such a great deal with the portion and the amount of seafood it came with. My only complaint is that they can lighten the amount of fresh basil they put in. I highly recommend! Last, we got the creme brulee, which comes with orange biscotti. It's a shareable portion, and perfectly sweet. Our server Zoe was also amazing! She was super friendly and answered all the questions we had with the menu. Great place for a low key date at Desert Shores and some awesome food!

My husband and I stopped by for dinner around 3:30 P.M on a Friday at Smoke & Fire. The restaurant is located near South Pecos Road and East Russell Road. There was plenty of parking spots available. As I walked inside the restaurant, a team member had greeted us and let us know that it was open seating. There were only a few other customers inside the restaurant at the time we had dinner. There was plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant though! TVs were situated throughout the restaurant. There was a variety of sports games playing. She also went through any dietary restrictions and some of their highlights at the restaurant, specifically, Smoke & Fire is known for their blueberry chicken sandwich. After looking through the menu, we ultimately decided on the following 3 Meat Platter: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with Mac N Cheese/Sweet Potato Tots The World Famous Blueberry Chicken Sandwich: Pepper Jack Cheese, Housemade Blueberry Jam, blueberry aioli, and Jalapeno. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the sweet potato tots though! I don't normally see sweet potato tots so I just had to try it out! They were super crispy and packed with flavor. The food was yummy here and the service was fantastic! If I'm in the area again, I would stop by Smoke & Fire to have another meal. I think next time though, I am going to have to try out their pulled pork burger!

We didn't expect to get seated as walk-ins since reservations are highly recommended, but we were lucky enough to snag a small table! We were delighted by the excellent service, delicious food, and the overall vibe of the restaurant. It's the kind of place that makes a simple date night feel special. Chef James Trees changes the menu seasonally so there's always something new to try. Everything is made in house. The pasta, bread & pizza dough are made fresh everyday. Esther's Kitchen recently received the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand distinction, which recognizes restaurants offering exceptional food at good value. It's a meaningful recognition, and I was lucky enough to be at the award ceremony yesterday and meet the manager Liz. If you've never been to Esther's Kitchen, please do yourself a favor, make a reservation and order the sourdough bread with three spreads.

It made me feel like I didn't exist and that gave the ambiance not a good start to the evening. Food was okay as well. I definitely would change the flavor profile because the taste just wasn't there I was expecting a more savory dish when it comes to lamb shank osso buco. The lamb was super tender so that's a plus but the olive , orange and pine nut seemed to overwhelm the flavor of the entire dish just felt like it had no direction. Unfortunately it was not a memorable dish and would not order again. Overall I was expecting more but not all dishes are of good taste. I will try the place again and maybe explore the other dishes that are more popular and change my outlook of the restaurant and hopefully more attentive service.

Inside is a small cafe with a few counter seating along the wall and soft music playing in the background. I was listening to "Take On Me" by A-ha, it's a very cool song, and totally reminded me of the Vegas Golden Knights historic win! Happy Hour is available in the bar area Monday to Friday from 4pm to 6:30pm, and includes select grand cocktails, well drinks and wine starting at $10, select draft beer at $7, and select appetizers at $12.95. The retail cafe offers freshly brewed coffee, espresso drinks, signature lemonades, pastries, danish, sandwiches, fresh fruits, parfait, desserts, matcha, and juices. I ordered Southwest Chicken Salad ($11.50) and requested to sub the vinaigrette for the Asian Chicken Salad's Thai peanut dressing. Adriana is so nice to accommodate, I appreciate it! Southwest Chicken Salad has fresh mixed greens, tender chicken, black beans, corn, cherry tomatoes, pepper jack cheese, and jicama strips. The salad is premade, portions seemed smaller than what I got from the Retail Cafe at the Palazzo. It comes with a side of honey lime vinaigrette, and the dressing tastes very much like tangy BBQ sauce. Honestly, this dressing doesn't go well with the salad. I'm really glad I asked for the Thai peanut dressing, which has an appealing flavor and yummy! It's mild and has a delightful sweetness that complements perfectly with crunchy jicama, so good and delicious! Service from Adriana is very kind, welcoming, polite, and friendly. She was patient and courteous, answered questions I had about the juices, and even mentioned they're very sweet. I was able to get complimentary water to enjoy with my salad, it was good!

The environment is a little more elevated (though tucked in a casino) and the service is more you focused compared to an uber busy family dining establishment. When I went this time, it was the middle of the week during a decent afternoon lunch time and our server was not only attentive to us but to every table we saw her at. She made sure we had plenty of time to choose our meals, checked in but not too frequently, and gave us an experience everyone looks for when eating out. There's something for everyone and tons of options so you never have to have the same meal over and over again unless that's your thing and even then, you'll never be disappointed by the quality between one visit and another.

The dining area and outdoor patio give a rustic country kitchen feel which suits their fresh seasonal ingredient filled menu. We have honestly never had a bad meal here. The food tends to disappear before we get to take pictures, sorry that's lacking. I've read the service here isn't good, but we've either been lucky or just have come on good days because we haven't had any issues. The only issue that is kind of a nonissue is that it gets busy fast, of the 3-4 times we've eaten here we've probably come 10 times and there was a loooong wait so we decided to go elsewhere. If you're in the area and want something delectable for lunch or dinner, I'd say yes stop in and enjoy yourself !

Our last dinner (party of 6) was not great from the second we arrived (on time) to our table (not clean) the service (took forever and we were basically ignored) to the food. Not what we've experienced in the past. We had friends in from out of town. I talked it up and was frankly embarrassed and was apologizing for the experience. I'm local. I want to love it. I'm unsure we will be back at this point.
