Black cherry lemon drop...or what's left of it.
Julia C.

Triple George Grill is such a cozy spot with dim lighting that sets the perfect mood. They've got a diner-style counter, plus intimate booths and tables. The menu is straightforward, but the specials are what keep me coming back. This visit I tried the tomahawk special and it was incredible. The star of the show, as always, is the Black Cherry Lemon Drop Martini. Service is consistently top notch and memorable. Can't wait to come back!

By far best of the best for me this year when in Vegas, I highly recommend triple George down town. I felt like a gangster from the movie casino Sipping on some red wine in a elegant steakhouse, great ambience, black, and white pictures on the wall ,great customer service great atmosphere and the food was so delicious ,birthday dinner for my brother thank you guys so much for the wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back and a very big thank you to Mo and the rest of the crew for the superb hospitality.. from Orange County

Supposed to be a well done burger

Had high expectations for Triple George based on what I read but left with mixed feelings. Ordered the $70 dry-aged rib eye medium, and it came out well-done. They offered to cook up a new one. Second one was better but still overcooked. I could tell it was a good cut of steak and well seasoned, but overcooking two steaks is a bit much for a steakhouse. On the bright side, the scallops and Brussels sprouts were excellent. My friend got the truffle burger well-done, but it came out undercooked. Even the table next to us said their prime rib was served cold... so definitely some consistency issues in the kitchen. Management comped the steak and burger, which I commend them for, but surprised the manager didn't apologize for the errors. Our waitress was great, and I could tell she felt bad that our food turned out the way it did. Honestly, the place has potential, but they really need to get the kitchen dialed in to match the prices they're charging.

This is my second time coming but first time for dinner! The menu was amazing! Went with the dinner for two tomahawk steak with Cesar salad and a slice of cheesecake everything was cooked perfectly and tasted like heaven!! Service was great and server handled everything perfectly! Super cool dinner spot I'd highly recommend going!!

Has dinner here Saturday night before seeing the Nutcracker. We did the special which is a Caesar salad, tomahawk steak, one side (we did Brussel sprouts) and one slice cheesecake. We also ordered calamari (not so good) and mashed potatoes. The steak was tough. Mashed potatoes were okay. Everything else was really good. We were ignored by our server. I think she might have gone on a smoke break and forgot about us. When she came back to the table she smelled of smoke. I love Triple George. Sad to report a not so great experience. See my pics

Came here on a Sunday around 11am so it was pretty empty. Seated at the bar. My server did a great job explain how the lunch special options for the day. But i opted for the chicken and brussel sprouts and a cesar salad. While I waited she offered table bread. She kept checking up on me if I needed anything else. Very caring. Both the entree and salad I ordered were great. Id recommend them.

Classy meets Delicious! If I was considering the food only, this would a strong contender for my favorite steakhouse ever. My husband and I decided to try their steak dinner for 2 which included a Caesar salad for each of us and an enormous Tomahawk Ribeye, one side of our choice, and one slice of cheesecake to share. This also included their red wine reduction sauce, but we added Bernaise sauce as well along with 2 scallops. We went with a loaded baked potato as our side in keeping with a classic steak dinner. Everything was wonderful and worth being overstuffed when the meal ended. I should give special mention to the complementary bread basket served with butter and herbed vinegar, as well as the wine selection. The Argentinian Malbec I chose was fantastic with the ribeye. We found their Caesar salads not quite traditional as they pulverize their croutons into crispy breadcrumbs, but they definitely use anchovies in their dressing (a positive for us). I loved that they plated the perfectly cooked medium-rare ribeye with roasted garlic and peppers that really enhanced the incredibly flavorful meat. I'm also so glad we added those sweet and tender scallops. Finally, the one "slice" of cheesecake was almost a comical joke. It was the size of 4 slices and perfectly balanced somewhere between creamy, fluffy, and dense. The restaurant offers the sort of dim private booths covered in dark paneling that I thought only existed in old movies and provided a wonderful setting for the huge meal. Service was slightly slow, but they were aware of it and apologized in advance, so no complaints there either. I'm rounding up from a 4.5, but don't hesitate to come here if you're in Downtown Las Vegas. And if you're staying at the Downtown Grand right across the street, don't forget to use the $25 discount coupon as we did!!

This is an absolutely fabulous place for dinner! I had the most amazing french onion soup, calamari, and creme brulee here! Thanks to Chef Nic for an incredible dining experience for us to celebrate my brother and his wife! Lovely place and ambiance.

When this place opened, it used to be the talk of the downtown area. We went for a happy hour once, but decided to give it a try for dinner...so we made a reservation for a Friday night. When we got there they sat us in the bar area, and it was a little loud, but it was also a private booth..so I liked that part about it. We started off with two prosecco...that was quite lovely with dinner. They started us with a bread basket that was really good. It had a whipped butter with a garlic sauce pooled at the bottom...great way to start a meal. We split an 8 oz filet and got a side of mash potatoes and a side of brussel sprouts. They did not do a split plate charge...I thought that was a very nice touch. We got a side of peppercorn sauce for the steak, yet the steak did not need it...it stood out on its own and tasted delicious! Service was on point and I really enjoyed this meal...I will very likely return if downtown and wanting to class it up a little bit. Prices here are much more reasonable than the counterparts of steakhouses that are in downtown.

Amazing find right off Fremont Street. 1. The octopus was ROCKSTAR!! Perfect in every way. 2. Espresso martini was good, but not exceptional 3. The corn was TO DIE FOR! So good! 4. Bone in ribeye, while tender, was so incredibly salty (and overcooked), we chose to leave it behind. They kindly offered to bring us another, but we declined. Would I try triple George again? Absolutely. Would I try another entree? Absolutely.

5 stars -- Triple George's is a downtown Vegas must. We had dinner at Triple George's on New Year's Day and it was a ballet of hospitality... the kind of service that feels rare lately. They actually pick up the phone when you call! And from the host to the servers to the entire crew, everyone brought their best to the table warm, attentive, professional, and somehow still relaxed and human... even on New Year's Day. And the food? Perfection. Our steaks were cooked exactly right, beautifully paced, and genuinely delightful from start to finish. You can tell this place takes pride in doing it the right way... no gimmicks, just classic Vegas steakhouse excellence and a fun, professional team that makes you feel like family. Where is that these days? Also: the staff had this bright sense of humor that only comes from teamwork and being appreciated. I truly hope leadership is as solid behind the scenes as what they deliver to the table. If you're downtown and want a meal that feels special (without the Strip chaos... which is the opposite of what happens downtown), go to Triple George's. We left happy, impressed, and already talking about coming back... and we still have steak for days!

I see it says not good for kids, is there a particular reason why?

I wouldn't say it's particularly bad for kids. Its a bit pricey and the vibe is definitely more for adults (i.e. white tablecloths, lots of glass, etc.), however, if you have well-behaved kids who can eat off an adult menu, you should be okay.

With so many highly rated steak houses, I was debating on which to go to but ended up going to Peter Lugers as it was also close to the hotel I stayed at. I got there pretty late but there was still seating at the bar available. The service was very good and the food luckily lived up to the hype. I got the thick cut bacon and steak for one. Both were excellent and paired well with their house made steak sauce. The steak itself was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and very tender. They also gave me and my buddies some complimentary chocolate coins. From the service to the food, this place delivers and I'm glad I finally got to try it out. The service was phenomenal, and the staff was extremely knowledgeable from start to finish. Of course, I had to try the famous bacon, and let me tell you... it really is some of the best bacon you'll ever have. Don't forget to dip it in the house BBQ sauce! I'm still dreaming about that bacon. The Caesar salad was a bit mid and slightly dry for my liking. The Maine lobster tail, however, was cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh. I wasn't a huge fan of the creamed spinach or the fried potatoes, even though the portions were very generous. Personally, I would've preferred a loaded baked potato instead. The steak itself was cooked beautifully and packed with flavor, though I felt the presentation could've been a little better. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return to try more items on the menu.

The cauliflower was good. Nice mix of sweet and spicy. Fried spinach salad is one of my faves! Melts in your mouth and I'm not even a big salad person. And then we tried the shrimp and artichokes. When it came out it was not what we expected. But it ended up being delicious!! Restaurant is classy. Cute outdoor section on the second floor. Floors are always slippery though. Careful in heels! ** only other complaint on the butternut squash is no one asked if everything was okay since the whole dish sat there. I literally ate one piece. We also spoke to a manager about the great service, which I did mention how dry the butternut squash was during the conversation. Apparently offering a different dish or removing the dish and taking it off the check isn't a thing anymore if food isn't up to standards. Or even firing up a new one. A little disappointed about that, but it is what it is.

The Grilled Oysters were not a favorite. However, I think that's just personal preference because of the style they are prepared in. We prefer our grilled oysters to be very charred and more of a buttery flavor. These are prepared in an Asian style and and more of a soft grill than a char. Our server very graciously had a second plate served up with more of a grill to the oyster which we appreciated. The rest of the dishes were delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert, but would definitely be back because the options were inventive and looked so tasty. A doughnut bread pudding, a bourbon brownie; yes to both please!
