I highly recommend the Spanish latte with oat milk. So delicious, very friendly staff, and I liked this cute little coffee shop. They have cool merch too.
Had such a great experience here! I've visited a different location before & was pleasantly surprised to see this location. We got the strawberry latte & oat cereal latte. Both were very delicious & had the perfect ratio of sweet rich notes of espresso. The vibe in here on a Saturday late afternoon was very relaxing where people were on their computers & chit chatting. Our service was above & beyond. As we had come in right before closing and left a wallet there on accident. Right when we called they answered (after closing, so thank you very very much) and happily assisted us with retrieving it!
Finally tried Made Coffee and was delighted! Very welcoming and kind service by the baristas. Tried the Ube Cloud matcha and was blown away- the ube foam is the best tasting ube i've ever had in a drink- they've really mastered it. Some seating available inside and outside- Honestly this place reminded me a lot of Homeboy Coffee I would have thought they were under the same ownership lol I will definitely come back to try that butterscotch latte & try some of those pastries!
First time trying this location for MADE Coffee and I really enjoyed its chill yet contemporary vibe. I ordered my staple drink to see if they can get the basics sone right. And they did. The hot vanilla latte had the right balance of bold richness with the complexity expected of a milk-based espresso drink. I just wished they didn't cap the cup before I could drink it. I prefer to take that first sip without the cap on and to see if there is decent latte art not ruined by capping.
Finally got to try this place after hearing its hype! I got their cereal latte, and although the cereal flavor is not as strong as I expected, I appreciate the boldness of the coffee flavor. Parking is a little bit tight because the plaza is pretty small. I got my drink hot because it was raining . I tried my friend's pistachio cloud latte, and oh my goodness! the pistachio cloud is divine. The staff is friendly and can make adjustment of my drink. The place is pretty small, but have some few seats for you to work or study.
Made Coffee offers rich, amazing and tasty lattes. My strawberry iced latte was creamy, rich but yet not too sweet. The vanilla latte and ham & cheese croissant were also tasty and delicious. The staff were welcoming and super helpful. The ambiance is cozy and comfortable. I'm glad they have several locations in Orange County. Highly recommended!
I bookmarked this cute coffee spot and finally made it there (twice) this week! We were doing staycation at our usual hotel nearby and went here first time on a Monday morning. Loved it so much we decided to come back the following morning, today, before we headed out. Staff was super friendly and so informative of their menu. We love their Oat Cereal latte and matcha. Though, if anything I would have to complain that their iced drinks (matcha) has way too much ice... It's even more than the iced Starbucks drink I usually get, that's why I feel I have to write about it. But, that's on me. I will ask for less ice or little ice next time when I do get an iced drink. We also got a donut, a pear donut, which I mistakened for a matcha donut. But when I took a first bite, omg, it was so good. AND, you know what the perfect combo is??? To DIP the PEAR DONUT into the OAT CEREAL Latte!!!! So good!!!!! You gotta try it! Overall, highly recommend! They are pretty popular!
It's hard to find a spot that makes a good Spanish latte, and after stopping by here on the way home and it was WORTH the extra minutes out of my way. My hubby absolutely loved the Spanish Latte and is willing to make the drive from Whittier. I had the Honey Lavender latte with almond milk and it was perfect! It wasn't too sweet, but perfectly balanced. Their beans are delicious and roasted lightly, so you can taste the bean without it being bitter. The baristas were super friendly and offered suggestions since it was my first time there. This spot is behind Wahoo's and it can be hard to get to. It has a cute, modern and sleek feel to it. Very woody, shick.
Coffee lids are terrible. Got one where the lid cracked. Another where the lid pieces fell into the drink. Also I have 0 idea what the barista was doing. Making drinks out of order. Must've been his first day. Counter culture beans are a plus but it tasted pretty watered down. They don't weigh or timer their shots.. I would go elsewhere.
Cute little Coffee Shop in Costa Mesa. This place is always busy with line out the door. Ordered: Pomegranate Rose Lemonade - Refreshing drink Passionfruit Kouign Aman - Unique sweet treat They even have a treat for your furry pet. Friendly staff. Service is great.
The vibe is younger for a coffee shop, I was expecting that since the drinks seem really new age. I tried a total of 3 of the most popular iced lattes and they were good, I think the appeal of the drink could use some work since $8 is the asking price for a small latte. Service was 10/10 staff seemed to get along great so it was inviting.
We love this spot. I got the Mango Matcha Latte and it was super refreshing -- the mango adds just enough sweetness without taking away from the matcha. The Kyoto Cold Brew was smooth, bold, and not bitter at all. Both drinks were easy to drink and tasted really fresh. Service is quick, the branding is cute, and everything feels consistent. Definitely a go-to when we're in the area.
I was actually on my way to Gremlin Coffee nearby When the street parking situation seemed impossible, (sigh) Mood to turn Gremlin, idea pivot, to where To Made Coffee, yes! small parking lot there My decision making skills waning fast As I looked at the menu options, seemingly vast I ordered a matcha latte half-sweet And then the kind man taking my order described the strawberry/mango flavors as a refreshing treat I picked strawberry as a last minute sweetener pick The orders came out relatively quick The strawberry flavor is a syrup puree mix No room to complain, I was just thankful for a morning drink fix I probably would try it again with just simple syrup to compare Because I like plain to be fair There is minimal seating inside with an AC chill You'll likely leave with an $8+ bill It was worth the trip for me CA weekend lines are a reality xoxo -Op
Made Coffee is hands down my current favorite coffee spot. I usually go to the Fullerton location, but I recently stopped by their new Costa Mesa shop and was stoked to grab a cup on my way to work in Irvine. This location is smaller than the others, but still has a few tables and counter seating--better for smaller groups or if you're just looking to hang for a bit. It's definitely great for a quick coffee stop. Service was fast and super friendly, which is always a plus. If you haven't been before, you have to try their iced Spanish latte--it's my go-to. They also have a solid selection of pastries if you're in the mood for a snack. read more
Open parking is pretty non-existent in this plaza. If you want to make a quick trip to pick up coffee like I did, just park in the plaza behind the store and walk over. Inside the store isn't that big. Just a few table as well as window bar seating. Pretty full of people Sunday after lunch. Coffee: - Kyoto cold brew. A pretty solid cold brew. No complaints in terms of flavor. It was a bit heavy on the ice which I was a bit disappointed about. Lowkey might as well have just ordered a shot of espresso. Definitely try to request light ice next time. Service: -Workers were nice and friendly. It was a bit busy but drinks came out in a timely manner. read more
Ube cloud matcha - cream top infused w strong ube flavor, definitely recommend giving a thorough mix bc cream is very sweet. matcha itself is smooth and rich! Pistachio cloud cold brew - cream top is rich and sweet, like whipped pistachio gelato. cold brew has a slight acidity, but nothing sour or sharp - just enough to cut through the cream's sweetness. Service friendly and quick. Shop has such chill vibe and aesthetic, there's plenty of seating and outlets for studying! Easy and free parking. read more

Made Coffee is a new coffee shop in Costa Mesa that just soft opened and they are making lovely drinks with friendly service. The interior is bright and colorful when you walk in and the staff warmly greet you. There's some seating with about 4 to 5 tables and I love how there's photos from recent customers plastered on the counter! Their menu has a good variety of drinks to choose from ranging from coffee to matcha to teas. I opted to go for the ube cloud matcha and it was fantastic. The ube cloud foam was flavorful and paired well with the matcha which I got with simple syrup. It was a great combination without being too sweet. Overall, I'm glad there's another excellent coffee shop in town and the staff here are having a fun time and it's great talking with them. Make sure to check out this spot when you are in Costa Mesa. read more

I live really close to Made Coffee in Fullerton but happened to look up coffee spots when I was in the area and had no idea they opened one in Costa Mesa Drinks and service were amazing, per usual! It's a smaller space with a few tables, high top seats, and about 4 outlets. However, the parking here is so inconvenient. We had to circle all the way around because we entered thru the wahoos side that was closed off to the other side of the parking lot. Also spaces were pretty tight. read more
Really good drinks! Made is tucked in a little plaza close to the camp, and I honestly really like their drinks compared to other coffee shops in the area. Service was helpful and knowledgeable, and mentioned that they import their strawberry puree from Korea, which I thought was a really cool and unique detail. I didn't end up going for the strawberry matcha, but their oat matcha chacha was phenomenal (it tasted just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch). They have some indoor seating with outlets if you want to stop by and get some work done. read more
BEST COFFEE EVER!!! Omg I feel like I've wasted so much money on Starbucks or blue bottle etc cause this place is insanely good. I live in LA and a friend recommended recently that I check this place out when I'm in OC as it's his favorite place. I was in the area so went over and while this doesn't affect my review rating on Made at all I will note that the parking lot is just awful here so keep in mind to have a little bit of patience and make sure you come in the right way so you don't get trapped like I did. The space is smaller but super cozy and the vibes are so there. The staff is so nice, helpful and were especially accommodating when we asked for an order recommendation being gluten-free and vegan. They recommended the cereal which uses oat milk and it was probably the best cup of coffee I've had in a long time. My boyfriend and I literally came back 2 hours later to get another one before heading back to LA. Was so good I wish they had one up there but definitely do not hesitate to go here. Made Coffee is now in soft opening in Costa Mesa and a welcome addition to the city's coffee scene. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they a modern interior with a warm ambiance and about 5-6 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a nice selection of different coffee, tea, matcha, loose leaf tea, and lemonade drinks to choose from. I opted to try the Matcha Cha-Cha which consists of matcha and cinnamon. I enjoyed the flavor palette of the drink and it had a great balance without being too sweet. Overall, I am glad that Made Coffee is expanding! All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Make sure to put this spot up next on your list for your next coffee run! read more

Went early on a Sunday morning it was empty. There's a lot of seating it's bright and clean. Staff was friendly, didn't take too long to get our drinks. We ordered a matcha latte and iced latte. Both were great. Highly recommend trying. I recommend checking how busy it is ahead of time. The parking is very limited. read more

This review is for the service and pastries. We went here on a Sunday and it was already busy. The tables were mostly filled but still some seating. I only tried the kouign amann but the others in my group also got drinks. They l liked the drinks. The kouign amann we got was a passion fruit kouign amann. They can warm it up for you if you prefer. It's overall a solid pastry. 8/10. Fhe place is in a small plaza with limited parking, but there are some short term parking spots that are just meant to get a quick coffee and go. read more
Pistachio cold brew MADE right indeed. Cute quirky cafe vibe. The menu is not overwhelming and they made my order for the first time good. You can tell the brew was great selection, satisfaction approved by my palate. Searching for cold brew fix when Yelp led me here. Baked goods like that pistachio croissant was eyeing me too but would probably been pistachio overloaded. Next time when I'm around the neighborhood, I'll hit you up again to try something else. read more

Iced Vanilla Latte with an add shot. Vanilla latte was perfect, staff convinced me to add a shot of espresso because I told him I still like to taste a good amount of coffee flavor, and this was the best suggestion because my drink was delicious. Staff super friendly and helpful. A little small inside but super hip and cool vibes. Only downfall is largest iced drink is 16oz... wish I could have the drink in a 20oz size. Overall, great staff, product, and vibes. 5 stars! read more

Went here for a mid-day work treat and was recommended the strawberry latte and it was the perfect pick-me-up!! Coffee was aromatic while the strawberry flavor was a nice after taste. It wasn't incredibly sweet either, which suits my taste. The people working are so helpful and kind when recommending drinks and I want to go back to try their matcha's on a later date. I was told they have house made syrups that you can request (blueberry apparently is delicious!) I can't say much about how busy it gets here as I went at 12:00pm on a weekday. The inside is clean and incredibly aesthetic, which makes me want to return to do some work when I have some time. I felt the ambience was relaxing and conducive to productivity. read more
the butterscotch latte (75% sweet) w/ cream is possibly one of my most favorite coffees i've ever had. if i'm ever around, this is one of the spots i try to find an excuse to go to no matter what. usually i'm in and out, but i did study here once and it was a great spot, but does get pretty busy around mid-day (on weekends at least) so the space is somewhat crowded and can get a bit loud. the spanish latte is also delicious, but i just absolutely love the butterscotch. their cream is a also the best i've had (at least to my preference) with great service as well. must go read more

Made coffee's ambiance was nice and simple great place to go hang out with friends or just go solo for a studying session. It was my first time at made coffee and I got their mango matcha with oat milk which was a 4/5. The mango was a bit overpowering to the matcha... so next time I'll ask for less sweet. Service was nice and fast got my drink within 2 minutes and staff was nice and made sure the drink tasted good! read more

If I could give 5 stars I would. I love Made coffee. I'm here every week, mostly twice a week. The service is always friendly. They have dog treats and pup cups for their 4 legged friends. Top 3 drinks that are my favorite are: Matcha Chacha, the Lavendar Honey Latte, and the Oat Cereal latte. Their pastries are really good too. What I love about this place is how much effort they put into making their drinks. Every drink is EXPERTLY crafted. If the machine pulls a shot too long, they'll recalibrate and repull. The inside is also very nice- there's bar seating and seating along the wall. My coworkers and I call this place "MA-DE" and we have a term we use "MA-DE all Day!" when we go to get our coffee. read more
So happy to finally have a NEW go to coffee spot. This place basically has it all! Anything from a simple latte to a delicious original, it has something for everyone. I can't get over the Oat Matcha Chacha and the Cereal Latte, but every once in a while I mix it up with a Kyoto Cold Brew. Although the shop is pretty small, the vibes and service crew bring BIG energy. Wish I have more pictures for this review, but this will do for now. read more

Order: *strawberry matcha with oat milk, less sweet *oat matcha chacha (has maple & cinnamon) Parking: Very FEW spots!! There's a Wahoos that has designated parking spots and they are closed off to the rest of the establishments. The actual parking feels crammed and you have to enter through the entrance on Baker. Ambiance: It's a small interior, after ordering you can stand around or go outside to wait. There's a few tables and chairs, outdoor seating, with moderate noise levels. Minimalistic and trendy vibe. Service: It didn't seem very busy for a Saturday but there was a few people in line and we waited to order. There was no small talk, just a quick order and the cashier answered our questions. Taste: I intentionally adjusted the sweetness level because I prefer more of the matcha umami taste than anything however it was still too sweet. They don't use additional sweetener and instead use strawberry puree yet it still felt like a cup of sugar. My boyfriend didn't adjust anything and it was also much sweeter due to the maple syrup. Overall, parking is limited, small space, drinks are pretty sweet. We tried it but won't be back. read more
First time coming to this place and I have been eyeing it for a bit. I loved the ambiance of the cafe as it was very light and pastel colors all over. They also sell coffee beans too and merch ! Me and my boyfriend tried the vegan banana bread and both got the oat cereal latte. I personally was a fan of both. The cereal latte was a nice combination of sweetness and coffee and didnt feel too light on the coffee which I liked. The vegan banana bread was really good and moist, they had other pastries as well both sweet and savory. Willing be coming back again to try their matcha and their Spanish latte! read more
Got the cereal latte with regular milk and it was delicious. Not too sweet and not too coffee-y. They have seating inside with tables and another with a high bar and chairs and some stools outside. Their menu covers all the basic espresso and cold brew drinks but they also have lots of twists to a latte which is great. Their butterscotch latte with cloud is also delicious. More on the sweeter side but what is to be expected. Parking is decent with some spots just for pick up which is convenient. Service was relatively fast especially since we ordered a bunch of drinks. Dunno how to explain it, but this place has a very hipster vibe to it. Parking lot is small but, fortunately, I didn't have trouble finding a spot. It's also pretty small on the inside. Baristas are proactive and efficient - good number of them working behind the counter when I visited, so I got my drink rather quickly. Wasn't too impressed with the matcha though, if I'm being honest... the flavor wasn't strong enough for me. The ube foam was great though. The price is a bit steep for what you get, imo. read more

Came by here after my Saturday morning run over in Newport Back Bay with my club and was in need of some coffee with the homies. The selection of coffee beverages looked so good and ended up having the pistachio cloud cold brew. It was quite delicious and 100% would get it again. The staff were super friendly and they had lots of tables and seats available. My group and I sat here for about an hour of good times. They played good music at a decent volume so that you don't have to yell into your conversations. I definitely see myself coming back here to try other items from their menu and def coming back for this gray shirt when/if they get my size. Come get coffee here!! read more

I got a cold brew with sugar-free hazelnut syrup. It was a delicious cold brew and the hazelnut flavor enhanced it nicely. It was rich and deep and smooth. The barista who helped me provided excellent service. We had pleasant conversation and a good laugh about me being a coffee critic. She made sure that I was pleased with the amount of syrup she put in. My friend got a jasmine coconut tea and said it was very good . She also got a drink from the grab and go case. There were these tiny stools outside that we were sitting on and since they were so small, I topped over on it! There was some seating inside, but it was all taken. The interior was minimally decorated, but it was cute . The price was a bit excessive. I love the cute logo on the cup. I like how I got to watch their cold brew being made because their machine was out in the open. They accepted contactless payment. It was easy to find parking. Overall, I had a great experience and I would absolutely love to come back and review more items if they invite me back read more
This place is my new hyper fixation. I've lived in CM for five years and tried so many coffee shops, made coffee takes the cake. Their iced cereal latte is sooo yummy especially if you love cinnamon. I love love love their strawberry latte too. Everything is so delicious here. Service is always great and it's a cute small shop. read more

I've been dying for new coffee shops in OC and this place is so cute! Parking outside wasn't bad and when I came in it wasn't too busy (some tables open) but looks like it gets busy quick so I would say not always the best place to do work (there's some outlets tho!) I got their iced oat cereal latte which was pretty good. No idea what makes it cereal but I liked the flavor! They had some other drinks and food that look rlly good too so def gonna be back. Staff was pretty nice too :) Kinda irrelevant but their coffee tumblers look so cute I had to stop myself from buying one. read more

Ummmm, YUM. Made killed it with my (unsweetened! The employees were quick to let me know about the ceremonial) matcha latte with lavender syrup. If I wasn't meeting a friend right after, I would have got a pistachio croissant (made in a bakery in Long Beach!), because all of their pastries looked delicious. I kind of regret not getting one for home... but it gives me an excuse to go back! The location is in the plaza RIGHT before Wahoo's, right before Bristol St! The parking is kind of tight, but I went during lunch time, so it makes sense why it was tight. The customer service here was excellent! They have not had their grand opening yet, but everyone was pleasant and helpful. I expect greatness from this coffee shop, even with so many drink spots close by! It was SO GOOD. The ambiance was cozy inside, so I expect it to be a grab-and-go place, which is fair. read more
