This Macy's is a department store where you can buy lots of different things from shoes, make up, clothes, and even furniture. But at this location the Macy's furniture is on the opposite side of the mall. When I go and walk inside the store the shoes is pretty neat and tidy but when you go to the adult area of the fitting room to try on clothing, it is a mess! A total disaster but sometimes it is and other times it is really clean. :) Also if you do get a few workers most of the time they are very helpful especially when you need to get something specific. Such as pair of jeans or maybe you need some make up. They will defiantly help you out. I also do like the deals that they do. I don't usually like shopping at Macy's but I make an exception for this Macy's because of the huge furniture outlet (first floor in the home/male building) and last act sections! This is the perfect place for a treasure hunter.. It's kind of fun to see what you can find. You can try to "bargain" at the furniture outlet if you're aggressive Also, if you have the patience or just building your home one piece at a time, this is a good place to go! They have lots of couches, (pieces of) sectionals, mattresses and some dressers and tables. I was told that most of the items are overstock from the warehouse or floor sample. Not sure what the return/exchange policy for the furniture is, but for items in last act sections, you can return within 30 days. Have fun bargain hunting! read more

It must be rough being in the department store business these days. Unlike times past when there wasn't a Walmart or Tatget in every shopping center, not to mention places like Kohl's and Old Navy as well as specialty stores like Bed Bath and Beyond and Cost Plus, Macy's manages to continue on in the tradition of the many stores who have disappeared in the past 20 years. I can take a broken item back to @Nordstrom used and without my receipt and they replace it no ?'s asked. I'm reminded why I don't and won't shop @Macys. I got this coupon for my birthday, and I tried using it 3 different times and each time they would say "you can't use this in store" when it specifically says on the coupon that I COULD use it in store! And then they kept trying to push for me to get the credit card "if you got the credit card it would be so much easier." At one point they even said I can't use the coupon unless I have the Macy's credit card, and I can't use it online either. She then continued by saying that I couldn't get curbside pickup, and that I'd have to pay for shipping. It always came back to pushing the credit card on me. Well.... I went home and ordered what I wanted online AND was able to use the coupon WITHOUT a credit card AND I got FREE store pick up FOR THE VERY NEXT DAY! Fashion. I really like this Macy's - much nicer than the one at the Main Place mall and not as dickish as the one in South Coast. They have a huge selection and variety of dress shirts for the work week and quiksilver shirts (which is pretty much all i wear). Most of their dress shirts are on sale on the weekends, which is when I go to stock up. The staff is weakest point- never that friendly, but not rude either. I guess I really appreciate that Macy's puts a lot of effort in the guy's store- sometimes guy's Macys can look like a swap meet- that's the case here. read more

Returned to Macy's yesterday Sunday 05/06/2018 to shop with my boyfriend in the Men's clothing department. I dunno if everyone was at home recovering from Cinco de Mayo still but it was pretty dead. If you don't like the sales vultures at Nordstrom, this is a good alternative. Although we were approached once or twice by employees asking if we needed help, we were left alone to find business formal clothes by ourselves. I'm a fan of their comfortable casual shopping environment, not prices. However, I am disappointed there was not a male employee monitoring the fitting room as their signage claims. PRO TIP: Come into the store to TRY ON clothing to verify quality, fit, comfort, style, etc that meet your standards but don't actually buy in store. Online is cheaper 99.5% of the time. read more

I was on a mission and I knew what I wanted to get and get out of this place. The mall was so packed on Saturday I was thinking before i left home it would be dead cause I didn't see any sales nor did I beleive people actually started buying stuff early before the holidays took effect, man I was so wrong. Peeps were helpful in directing me to the right places since I had no clue where to go. I didn't bother checking out the rest of the mall cause again I was on a mission. This is a really great Macy's only because they have a lot of selection of dresses here. Unfortunately for me, the dress I wanted was damaged and they had no other dress in my size that was not damaged. The sales associate was nice because she helped me look for the dress at another Macy's store despite the fact that I was taking up her time to go on her lunch break (I could even hear her stomach growling! oops!). When the dress didnt show up at any other store, the sales associate offered to give me a 10% off on the dress as a final sale. Unfortunately the deal was not sweet enough for me and the damage was too much to repair. I like this Macy's because it's still close to me and much better than the other Macy's that is closer to me. The selection here is pretty good and they always seem to have lots in the clearance section. This Macy's is pretty popular though, so on good sale days, it's pretty crowded... and pretty messy. The Macy's here is 2 stories: 1st story is womens; 2nd story is juniors, shoes, purses, makeup. The second story is also the level you enter from the parking lot. I like to buy shoes here because they have a pretty good selection here. The workers are helpful... but when it is really busy, sometimes they forget or you have to be more assertive. The purse selection here is small and the juniors section is lacking in the selection of dresses - it's mostly casual dresses, so if you are looking for more fancy dresses, go to a different location (I like South Coast if I'm looking for nice dresses). Men's and home items are located at another location. That is where the food court is. At the Macy's men and home store is also where you will find the Starbucks. read more

Wow! Talk about the deal of the year for me! If I could give this review 7 stars I would but 5 is as good as it gets. The bottom line today was I got $1,200 worth of suits for "$0"! Here's how it worked. Calvin Klein Extra Slim Fit Suit regularly priced at $600 was on sale for $300 and on top of that I got an extra 25% off that price. I picked up two of them. One in navy blue and the other in charcoal gray. Total after tax for both was $486. So how did I end up paying $0? Well, that's because I used money from my credit card cashback rewards program to pay for it! On top of that Macy's gave me $80 in cash cards to use for an upcoming 1 week only event. I don't know why people hate on this place but you can get the greatest prices on the nicest items here and their return and exchange policy is the best. My experience macy was oddly satisfying. When I come to a mall I always notice that people never want to be there but yesterday when I came with my friends there was this one worker at the Lancome stand her name was Melisa. She was one of the best workers I have met in a long time! She first was helping another customer and still made sure to greet us and let us know that she would be able to help as soon as possible. After her customer, her customer let us know that she is one of the best. While she was helping us she had been look for the new face wash in the yellow bottle all around the store but was not able to find it but she let us know right away and she offered to help with our online order. She was very attentive and polite, handling all information and offered option that would be easier for us. She was one of the best workers I know at Macys and I am so glad to know that I am safe to come back! I recommend completely! read more

Don't ever buy from Macys.com. Their customer service is completely unable to help if anything goes wrong. Also their ordering and delivery systems are configured in a completely illogical and backwards way. Around Black Friday, I ordered a Michael Kors coat from Macys.com. It was super cute, only $99. The coat never arrived. After waiting a few weeks, I realized something was wrong, so I called Macy's customer service. They told me that the package had probably been lost in the mail, and that they would send me ANOTHER coat. So far, ok. The coat finally arrived and unfortunately, it didn't fit. I took it to the Macy's in the Brea Mall to return it. When I got to the customer service counter, they said that the coat had already been marked as "returned." Apparently what happened was that the first coat I ordered (which got lost in the mail) had been marked as "RETURNED" so that they could ship me a second coat without recharging me. Therefore my coat was already "returned" and I would not get any money back if I handed it in to the store. I had to call Macy's customer service right there in the Macy's store, and after a very long conversation, the lady said she would email me a shipping label. I printed out the label and mailed the coat as directed. Three weeks later, I still have not gotten a refund for the coat. I called Macy's customer service YET AGAIN, and they told me that the coat had not been received, and that when it arrived I would see a refund in my account in ONE to TWO MONTHS. I asked if they had any idea whether the item had at least arrived safely. The Macy's representative said she did not know and could not help me any further, then hung up on me. Overall, horrible service. As a final note, whenever I buy from the Macy's website, half the time the confirmation emails do not arrive (even though all the ads from Macy's arrive perfectly fine, so I know I have the right email registered with their system). It's a mystery... I buy something, the money goes out from my Macy's card, but I never get a receipt or an email confirmation. You'd think they would fix something like this... it's kind of nice to have a receipt after buying something. read more

This Macy's looks like its seen its better days. Especially the sales people. They all look like they've there for decades or they just got off the plane from Bosnia. The selection of merchandise is very limited and towards the mid end. There's the obligatory Levi's, house brand INC, Guess, Coach, etc. Very similar to other Macy's in every single mall. The mattress we got for $1300 retail was about $650 here. Picked up a 6 piece dining set for 60% off in flawless condition. Most of the sets were banged up though so we got lucky. This is for the makeup sections inept staff. Went to this location to pick up foundation, that I already know the name and number to. At the up and downstairs in store kiosks had no staff attending to it. I then went to the kiosk near Sephora only to be told I had to go back into the store to find the product I wanted and spent 30 minutes total for them to find the makeup I was looking for. Very poor organization of their products. I was even sold the wrong product and after reviewing it had to return it only for the makeup girl to leave for around 10 minutes again searching for the right product. Don't ever come here if you're thinking it'll be a quick trip! read more
