Already all the rage in Canada, Lululemon has come to the U.S. Move over, Nike and Puma, this yoga inspired stuff is so much better looking. The sales people are very friendly and a lot more about telling you about their products and asking what sports you do (to find the clothing that best suits you) than pushing you to buy things. The designs are modern and - better yet - the tops are all about longer torsos. I'm pretty tall, and a lot of the time I'm stuck with things that fit perfectly except that they reveal too much tummy. Not Lululemon tops. They have two "signature" pieces: 1) Reverse Groove Pant This comes in Regular and Tall lengths, and you'd be shocked by how comfortable these simple, black reversible pants are. You have a two color options and several different colored waist bands to choose from. The material is patented by Lululemon and I promise it feels like a second skin, since there are no seams and no chafing. Like all their other products, the scuba has flat seams to prevent chafing and comes in a bunch of different colors. You've never seen a hoodie like this one. Seriously the worst customer service at this location. (Go to the Americana shop! Their employees are top notch plus better selection!) I got a gift card for my birthday to use toward a new yoga mat. I've never shopped at lululemon but have been told that their mats will change my yogi life. As a newb I naturally had some questions. Walking in the door on a quiet weekday afternoon I was not greeted by any of the casually/athletically clad women roaming the floor and was left wondering which among them worked there. I soon came to find out that all of them did (as they greeted others who walked in behind me), but no one was interested in my being there. In fact some of them went out of their way to avoid me. I approached one of them who was restocking mats and asked some questions. Her answers were brief and basic, semi-informative, and she interrupted me halfway through to go talk to a colleague with a half-hearted "Let me know if you have anymore questions" as we were mid conversation. I tried on a couple bras but was not checked on like the other gal in the room next to me. I inquired if I would find more of a selection available online and was told that each of their stores including online are operated as independent boutiques so you'll find different products at different locations. (Determined to be false - online had the exact same products but better variety of sizes, styles, and colors.) I said I'd do some research and left discouraged by their total apathy. I have enjoyed shopping at this location for years and have always received helpful and friendly service. The opposite was true today. I came in with an exchange. I stood in front of the checkout platform with my LuluLemon bag and was ignored by the two salespeople. There was no one in front of me. If they were busy, they could have said the usual ,"I'll be with you in a moment". When one of them looked at me I said that I had a gift for to exchange. I was met with a couple of sarcastic remarks and because I didn't have a receipt I was told I couldn't be helped. I only wanted store credit and intended to shop and spend much more than that one item was worth. Let me also mention the item was unworn with attached tags. I'll never visit that location again. If they couldn't exchange the item bc of policy I get it, but there's no excuse for snotty and dismissive service. read more

My bf doesn't understand why anyone would pay $98 for a pair of yoga pants, or $108 for a hoodie. That's probably because he's never gone to a yoga or pilates class with me. Well for all the other skeptics out there, don't knock it till you try it. The clothes make you look 5lbs lighter, and make your butt look 5x better. This store location has pretty good selection of lulu products, and often carry popular sizes that are sold out online. The Groove pants is one of lulu's best sellers but this stores had decent number of sizes and colors left when I went last weekend. The associates here are helpful and friendly but not pushy. lululemon is big on educating their customers so sometimes I feel a little smothered by the associates at other store locations, but not here. read more

People who know me know that I'm addicted to staying fit and working out. Since a third of my life is spent sweating, you'd be darn sure that I'm going to look cute doing it. Lululemon is like crack. Once you own an article of their clothing, you're absolutely hooked. Even with the high price tag, I can't say no to this place. Online, in-store ... you name it and I'm constantly mainlining. There's just something to be said about the quality of their cuts and fabric. No chaffing, no stinking, no funk and pure cuteness that you can wear outside of the gym as well. Out of all the lulu stores I've gone to, every staff member I've ever encountered is energetic, vivacious, welcoming and helpful. This store does NOT dissapoint. From the moment you walk in, whether you're new to lulu or a seasoned veteran, the staff is there to assist YOU. They're not trying to upsell anything, or make you feel inadequate in any way. They just want to make sure you look and feel your best. I bow down to you corporate head quarters for having such a keen eye on choosing your employees as well as keeping them so upbeat. I had a moment last week when I decided it was time to starting hitting the gym again; as I had accidentally taken the last 3 months off. Feeling lethargic and very out of shape I waddled in Lulu. When I first walked in the door the size 3 adorable girl greeted me and my insecurities sky rocketed. I briefly described my situation, and within 5 minutes she found an outfit that made my full figured body feel fabulous. In addition, she found the perfect Christmas gift for my husband. This is a high-end yoga clothing store!!! I love it though. However, it is very pricey. You do get what you pay for. The quality of their pieces are top notch and it will definitely last you. I bought a pair of yoga pants. I've had them for almost 4 years now and its still in really good condition. I highly recommend it to yogis. My mom and I go to bikram yoga. The clothes here are perfect for that. I think I got my mom hooked ^_^. I also see a lot of people at my yoga studio wearing Lululemon. It is so comfortable to work out in or to just lounge around in. I also bought a pair of running capris. The shocking part is, I like them better than my Nike Dry-Fit. They stick to you and it literally feels like you're not wearing anything. If I could, I would probably by everything at Lululemon. read more

I chose the Sporto over the Kung Fu ones cause I don't like the flat-front bunching that you get sometimes. add the awesome clothes to the amazing tea, and fruits that are usually there, the cool classes (the meditation ones are amazing) and you have a store that's more than a store - it's a community! I never had any issues with this location until I met Mark...he was slow, confused, might have been high and really not into a customer-centric approach which, seemingly, is what LLL is based upon. Everyone else at this location seems competent, customer focused and willing to help and Mark clearly does not fit into those parameters. Mark should be disciplined, retrained and put on a performance plan because his level of customer service is horrible. Sorry, Mark. Maybe Cheesecake Factory is hiring? read more

So initially I hesitated every time my ex-boyfriend suggested that I buy my workout gear from lululemon. It wasn't until after new years that I finally caved and purchased 2 pairs of pants. OMG I was immediately addicted. I came into the Pasadena Store (my pants were bought in Las Vegas) to get the Wunder Under pants hemmed and was met with excellent and helpful service. The minute I walked in they took care of me immediately. When I returned to pick up my newly hemmed pants (it only took a few days!), I took the time to browse around and look for some of the products that I saw on the website. They helped me find what I was looking for - OMG amazing service. I'm so completely addicted, its not even funny. It's gotten to the point where I really shouldn't going to the store alone, LOL but I can't help it! Definitely worth the change in workout gear, nothing pinches or bunches or rides up inappropriately. Not to mention everything is incredibly cute! Parking for the store is easy, the DeLacy parking structure is free for the first 90 minutes, so there's plenty of time to shop and try on clothing! Love it! read more

I used to be one of those girls who would walk into Lululemon and scoff at their ridiculous price tags. $90 for a pair of yoga pants? Psh, yeah right. This was my attitude up until I received a beautiful pair of Lululemon pants for Christmas and then everything changed. I slid my legs into the Aspire running tights and I couldn't stop staring at my butt! Is the luon fabric woven from magic?! My butt looked incredible! The fabric feels strong and durable and, more importantly, my new running pants could wick sweat like no other. My pants were a bit too long so I took them to the Pasadena store to get them hemmed. They have an amazing hemming service for their pants and you can bring them in whenever, no matter how much time has elapsed! I took off about an inch and a half and they were ready in 2 days. The service was great and all the girls were helpful without being pushy about buying more Lululemon. I came back a few days later to pick up my pants and I was a happy camper. Bottom line: I firmly believe that the cost of Lululemon products is justified by the quality. I would like to return for their free Sunday yoga classes. read more

I can tell that their ultimate goal is to get you to buy Lululemon clothing (which is very, very pricey to say the least). However, I'd give the yoga class a try; there's definitely no pressure to buy anything. They also have a free yoga session for runners on Thursday nights I believe, though I've never tried it. Lululemon is a truly great business because they promote health and make good use of their resources. On Sundays, they turn their store into a yoga studio. If I had monies, I would buy my workout clothes from here, but for NOW, I will take advantage of their free weekly yoga sessions. There is a different instructor that gets invited every week. This gives you the opportunity to experience various teaching styles so you can stick with one that fits and follow them wherever they teach usually. Afterward, they nourish you with healthy snacks such as fruit, mini nutrition bars, and water. Oh Lulu, someday I'll be sporting you to class! Your staff is super friendly and super cute in your clothes. I was eyeing these tanks the ladies were wearing today. They were cute colored tanks with a built in bandeau-like bra. Mismatched sports bras and tanks are no longer a problem. Women can always look good, even when breaking a sweat. :) Always come early to reserve a spot! read more

Perhaps if I actually get a pair one day and try it then I would know why everyone loves it. Came here after I found out that a friend bought her yoga tanks here. It was cute and looked super comfy so I decided to check out their website first. They had great styles and colors. I personally love the look of the No LImits tanks. Finally visited the store after training at Rose Bowl. Store is right next to the parking gargage so I didn't have to walk far. The place is amazing; the employees were all super nice and extremely helpful. They greeted me but didn't bombard me with my shopping experience. After looking around their awesome yoga pants, I finally asked for help. She was super nice and led me straight to my hydration belt. Debating between two items, one of the employees came by and helped me with my purchase. We talked it over and helped me decide on the hydration belt instead of a handheld water bottle. This led to us to a conversation about running marathons. As I paid for the item, the other employees were around and heard about me running a half marathon. We all started talking about it and it made me feel comfortable about being a first time buyer in their store because they weren't all about selling me their products but made me feel as if I were important for them to really care. Their clothes are all wonderful but extremely pricey. The colors stood out and would be clothes that I would get and wear to the gym. I hear its pretty comfortable and last for a long time. It also feels like you're not wearing anything at all. :P Will definitely come back here again :) i also hear that they offer free yoga classes? When I asked about it they simple laughed and denied the offer. Definitely a splurge to shop here for workout clothes. I needed some sports bras with padding, so I decided to check Lululemon out. Everything is pretty expensive, but really fun & cool! I tried on 3 different size bras. In the smallest size, I got stuck. Literally. I couldn't take it off. Had to get the husband in the changing room with me to assist. Thankfully the staff either didn't notice or didn't care. They write your name on a whiteboard when you try clothes on and periodically yell out your name & check on you. Feels very personal and I appreciated it! I ended up purchasing 2 bras. The cashier explained how to wash their fabrics and provided a reusable bag! YAY! I really enjoyed my experience and will hopefully be back to pick up more items :) read more

I had a great experience at this location. I strolled in on a busy Saturday afternoon after a Bar Method class, just to browse. Let me first say that I am a very frugal (cheap, lol) gal usually. I strongly believe that you get what you pay for, but I usually try not to pay full price at all, ever, for anything. LOL! Having said all that, I walked out with a beautiful & very expensive workout bag. The Flow to Om bag in black. I had an old adidas gym bag that I had wanted to replace, but I was pretty confident I could hold my prudence in this lovely fitness boutique. Boy was I WRONG. lol. So many lovely items here! The staff was wonderful and the sales associates were very kind and accommodating to me and all the questions I had about the bag. The associate recommended the bag in black since it was my first Lulu bag and I agreed. I LOVE my bag and use it all the time. It's true, their products are wonderful and the quality is truly top-notch. These items are worth the money and I am not a wealthy person, but consider myself to be blessed to be able to treat myself to these fine items every once in a while :) I just purchased a new Define jacket at the Glendale store today (only because Pasadena didn't have my size in stock) and I already love it and haven't even worn it yet. :) I'm sorry that others haven't had such a pleasant experience and I hope that changes for them in the future. read more

I agree with the prior reviews regarding their lack of customer service. Everyone who looked like a size 0 was getting immediate help/assistance. I was in the store for at least 20 min before someone approached me. I do understand that sometimes customers don't want to be followed but at least acknowledge the customer. For some of us it is intimidating walking in a store where the sizes are meant for a smaller person but don't make anyone feel uncomfortable. I did make a purchase because I had an idea of what I wanted and to top it all off I purchased a hoodie that required a bigger bag but instead it was stuffed in their smallest bag ‍. She wears the cutest yoga outfits and she finally revealed her secret after I mentioned that her top was sooo adorable. Afraid of the reviews on here regarding their store in San Francisco, I didn't venture up north. But during a long break between two events, we ran into this store in Pasadena. Layout of the store was very chic and intimate. Not at all intimidating as I thought it would be, especially with the higher-end luxury items. Amazed and in a slight trance, two friendly sales assocaites approach me at different times. Each time, not selling me on the items, but helping me decide what was best for me. The layout of the pants, shirts, everything in the store, is absolutely perfect. Love, love this store in Pasadena! I will have to get my hemming in Burlingame, CA, and I hope they are just as nice as the 3 ladies from this Pasadena store. P.S. My husband was with me and saw a pair of pants. With the name Lululemon, I could hardly think he would want a pair. He had to admit that it wasn't about the name, but the material was just absolutey amazing and quality he has yet to see. He didn't buy a pair since dropping $90 bucks for "lounge pants" as he calls them was ridiculous if he had to pay even more for hemming. He didn't realize they offered complimentary hemming until I asked if I could get it done at a different location. I'm sure my husband will get a pair this weekend when I go to get my pants hemmed. I am quite the lululemon fanatic! I have been wearing their pants for about 4 years now and it's one of the best decisions I've made. You get what you're paying for and they have a great warranty for 5 years of anything happens to them! My only issue with THIS location is that I was supposed to pick up a pair of pants from being repaired today and they weren't ready after I was told they would be in any time after noon. I arrived at the store right before they closed and sure enough, pants were not in. I'm going out of town so I was bummed that I wouldn't be able to travel with them. Expensive athletic apparel & yoga gear? Absolutely! And worth every penny! Haven't bought much from elsewhere since discovering Lululemon Athletica. Their fabrics are amazing & their clothing is not only functional but also extremely flattering. My yoga practice has soared to new heights since investing in Lululemon gear. I used to pad my bargain yoga mat with a cumbersome microfiber towel to keep me from slipping from the sweat I generated during workouts. Problem solved, thanks to my gorgeous yoga Luluwear which breathes as I breathe and my LuluMat which keeps me firmly planted & supported. Although I'm far from an elite runner, my Lulurunning wear makes me feel like a winner whenever I hit the streets. Perfect fit, form & function. Who could ask for more?
