Both the food and the service were wonderful!! Definitely try the pizzetti shrimp. And as much as you wouldn't think to order fish in Elko, the ahi tuna piccata was delicious!! And then we met a wonderful local/regular couple, Bill and his wonderful wife (I feel bad I didn't get her name) and they told us about a delicious wine that we tried and love. read more

Enjoyed the lamb chop with mashed potato and buttered spinach. Excellent service and friendly staff. Pricey, but with the right company and good conversation, you can enjoy your evening here. read more

The Aglio E Olio was absolutely delicious and our waitress was awesome! Thanks for a great meal and welcoming atmosphere.

Just to respond to the owners reply. I personally know what Sysco delivers in the Elko area, and you know what items you "claim" are fresh that are in fact frozen, like; meatballs, stuffed manicotti, crab cakes, lobster ravioli, and all of the fried items on the $10 sampler platter (just to name a few). In the owners defense, Sysco carries a wide variety of products, some of much higher quality than the others. However, this does not change the fact that frozen items are advertised as being fresh, and priced at fine dining rates. read more

DELICIOUS. We got take out and it was SO YUMMY. A great meal on the road. Very nice inside too. The people working there were so sweet!

This Elko restaurant is awesome. We had lunch there on our way to Grand Targhee - and the food at Luciano's was just delicious - simple sandwiches a several niches above most restaurants. The waitress was charming. Then, on our way back to Reno, we had dinner there. Let me say, I thought the food compared with San Francisco. First of all, I ordered a lemon drop - good ones are SO hard to find - but this one was perfect. For dinner,I had lamb chops that were cooked perfectly, and my husband had a pasta dish that he really enjoyed too. Again, a very friendly, efficient waitress. They also have a nice bar...and oh the lemon drop... read more

Came in for a hit and run drink and ended up here for a couple. Met Scotty who is the owner who gave us great tips for Spain and met Angie the bartender who was awesome! Great place for a drink and great conversation. We didn't eat, but will soon! read more

The food was just amazing. Amazing! I had the ravioli with shrimp and the hubby had jumbo shells with shrimp! I'm just visiting and didn't expect a town like this to have such a restaurant. We've been here 3 times in the last 6 months. I'm sad we didn't try it sooner! This will definitely be our go to place when we visit! read more

Luc and Erin have done a fantastic job with Luciano's. I immediately fell in love with this restaurant when it opened and I've never been disappointed. In elko, for fine dining (or an awesome lunch) this is THE place to be. read more

This is my favorite place in town. Great food, great service and no matter what you order off the menu, it is always delicious!!! Highly recommend. read more

Exceeded our expectations. Warm bread with Caesar Salad. Manicotti for my wife. Spinach Ravioli for me. More warm bread wirh the meal. Nice glass of wine. We loved it. Waitress did a fine job, too. Highly recommend. We were on long western road trip and likely never travel through Elko again but would definitely eat here again, if in the area. read more

If I could give my experience zero stars I would. I had a very unpleasant visit. I'd like to think I'm super understanding considering all business circumstances these days. It's extremely difficult to manage all aspects of business during challenging times. However customer service at this point is the only one thing a business can control. This restaurant chose to dismiss all customer service expectations. The owners lack of compassion and lack of positive intent was absolutely disappointing. I've managed a business for 11years. We've been open through all Covid restrictions. It's been more than difficult however I've always put my customers first, respected their opinions, kept my employees safe and always lead as a manager through compassion. The owner of this business does not. I will not find myself to support any business in Elko where a business owner would ask their customers "do you want to eat here tonight" a place I would ever spend my hard earn $. We live in a small community where true business owners should respect our customers. This business owner lacked education, respect, compassion, understanding, empathy and straight up disregard to his audience. Despite the situation at his restaurant he's voted school district 3 absolutely appalling. We need better community leaders in Elko. read more

Being in town for two weeks gave me the opportunity to check out many of the great restaurants Elko has to offer. I was most impressed here. They had the best meal and best service hands down. The lasagna and the spaghetti and meatballs were better than I've had in gourmet places back east. But the people really make this place. They care. I'm always impressed when the Owner stops by to check-in and chat. Ya know, more than the "is everything OK" line. Had a great conversation with him. Of the four times I ate here, the staff (namely bartender Danny) remembered me by name and what I liked to drink. You can't go wrong here. read more

My wife and I had the best Itialian dinner west of Denver. The service was friendly and supreme. The Chef, Martin, was very cordial and professional. His skill with seafood and eggplant is beyond compare. Enjoy a fine meal in a friendly atmosphere. read more

Great service and really good food! Go there and get the lamb...you will not be disappointed!!!

Wow. Super accommodating. I had to stop while on the road for a conference call and sat in the bar area. The service was excellent and the food was great for the price. I enjoyed a glass of wine which helped my work call. I recommend the prawn and scallop pasta. read more

The food is really delicious, but being from Louisiana, lacked a little seasoning. I had the manicotti and my boyfriend had spaghetti. A little pricy for what you get, but overall, I'd recommend. read more

I'm a big fan of squid and octopus, very difficult to cook properly. I had the daily special and it was delicious. The squid was great and the octopus was in large chunks, most places serve small bits. The staff was great and we really enjoyed it. Very nice place to bring a date read more

Neat place, quiet environment, polite and helpful waitress. A little pricey, but I wasn't hungry so I just got a pasta with garlic and oil, which was really good and good quantity as well. It was one of the cheapest entries on the menu though, I paid 11 bucks before tax and tip. The only issue I had was with Wi-Fi that no one was able to figure out how to connect, or give me a correct password. But if I hadn't gone there to work I would have given it a 5. read more

I have dined at Luciano's for the past four years attending the Elko MineExpo. One of my biggest attractions was the ambience, but also the unique entrees that were just enough but not overfilling. Each summer I could enjoy a new menu. I ordered the fillet wrapped prosciutto which was good but the vegetables were not grilled. They were a lump of soggy and very tasteless vegetables. Even the red pepper had no taste. The pasta under the beef was a huge amount, way too much to eat. Their wine list was not as good either. I adore the crew, they all work terribly hard and are pleasant. I wish they had the good chef's they had in the past. I did note the Italian dishes looked very appetizing and maybe that's where their strength lies. read more

The 3 pasta dishes were overcooked , reheated in microwave. The sauce on two tasted spoiled. The lasagna was mediocre at best. We had been traveling all day and needed bed. But we left over half of each meal which could have clued up the waitress that we didn't like them. Terrible really. My granddaughter was with. So I didn't want to make a scene. The dishes were chicken Alfredo, something called olio I think and lasagna. All old and reheated. Pasta mushy, sauces terrible. You people have us travelers at a terrible advantage and this was a terrible scam. We left most of all three dishes. So, I don't understand why the waitress wouldn't remember us. Since she asked if we wanted to take it to go and we all practically shouted, "no". And she said, "I don't blame you". read more

All the food is good went for a friends birthday we all got something different and tried each others food it was all really good

Staying here in Elko for three days just went to dinner here so so very disappointed food was OK waitress was not very friendly but at the end of the meal they double charged us for tax I went to the lady at the front desk and she says oh well that's Nevada for you and I told her I live in Nevada and we don't double tax on anything and she goes oh well that just made me so mad this is one of my first reviews I have made and I'll never go back again I rate this 1 read more

Great italian food, super service! This is our second trip to this wonderful restaurant. Driving through for our weekend camping trip and lunch was so yummy we ordered takeout for dinner! Lasagna was meaty and cheesy. Turkey bacon avocado panini sandwich and fries were hot and fresh made! Our takeout was a lobster ravioli dish and a fabulous smoked bacon carbonara! It was just as wonderful heated up a few hours later as the lunch was. The waitress was friendly and attentive and packed fresh bread and salad with the dressing in a side container for our to go meal. Very thoughtful, thank you! Can't wait till our next road trip through Elko! read more

Don't understand the really good reviews. Went there last night. Waited 45 minutes for food. Had artichoke ravioli. Ravioli had no taste and sauce tasted like flour & water. Good side was staff was nice & did not charge me for my food. read more

My guest and I arrived at 12:31 pm on July 26th according to my friends receipt . The greeting was so so, it took a female waitstaff a while to realize our presents. Sat us down, got our drinks, and we ordered. I ordered a sandwich that did not have any pesto and my friend ordered a sandwich with the specific request without pesto. She and I are not pesto lovers. We received our meal with the waitress discussing a not so food orientated conversation to another person. Not a good choice for conversation but that's okay. My friend order was brought back and delayed because of the pesto that she requested not to have. She was clearly upset. I am writing this review because of the inadequate restroom for women. I feel very very exposed when other women can walk down the hall, check to see if anyone is occupying the stall, and see me with my pants down. This does not make me feel welcome. My sandwich had too much balsamic vinegar. It wasn't very good because of that. I can not have company when my breath is fuming of vinegar. She did not come back to refill our drinks because my friend did not like the pesto. I was contacted by the owner and I told him that I would come back today with a clean slate because I have a large business group that is coming from out of town. He said that since I posted many reviews on Yelp that I am not welcome at Luciano's. I tried. read more

I live in California and only get to Elko, Nevada every few years on a Road Trip. However, I have to REALLY recommend this restaurant if you are anywhere in the vicinity. Not only do the wait staff (Misty being coached by Brandi) and the Hostess, Sissy, take great care of you...but this is one of only 3 times that a chef (Luke who is truly an involved chef) has actually come to my table to check on how the meal has been. The food was excellent, the service is amazing and I would highly recommend Luciano's to anyone who visits this community. Also, I was impressed with their wine selections. Coming from California, I am spoiled with wine choices and found Luciano's to have excellent choices! Definitely worth the stop!! read more

Service was good. Enjoyed the bread and dipping sauce though the bread was on the heavy side. Had the grilled chicken fettuccine. Chicken was dry and the sauce was bland. I may come back in the future but it won't be a go to restaurant. read more

We took my mom here for her birthday. Service was fine until I sent me steak back for being over cooked. Our waitress T, kindly took it back to the kitchen. Shortly after that she came back with the same steak and told me it was cooked to temperature. She told me its a new way the chef cooks. Ummm last time I checked, I knew how I like to eat a steak. Over cooked is not how I like it. I have been to many restaurants, I have sent food back a time or two. I have never been given food that was unsatisfactory back to me. I will never go back. And I will be sure to tell my friends and coworkers also. read more

I have been here twice and both times were basically great. All of the appetizers we tried were super delicious (my favorites were the fried ravioli and the avocado caprese) and i really liked the stuffed manicotti with spinach and chicken- it tasted light and fresh, which is a feat for stuffed pasta! They have a decent selection of beers, but I would like to see a craft porter or stout- dark beer goes so well with a lot of the foods they serve. The friends I dined with all loved their dishes and the staff was all friendly and helpful. The reason I am only giving 3 stars is the burger I ordered last time I was there- the flavors are wonderful- fresh mozarella, basil and pancetta crumbles- and I wanted to love it so much. Unfortunately it was severely undercooked- I had ordered it medium and it was completely raw in the middle. I didn't look that close and thought it looked underdone, but figured it wouldn't be too bad and proceeded to eat half of it anyway. (I don't send food back very often) Needless to say, I was up all night running back and forth to the bathroom which was a less than pleasant experience. One assumes you're not going to get food poisoning at a nice restaurant like this. Upon inspecting the leftovers I brought home the next morning, the middle of the burger was so raw and gooey that I fed it to the dogs. This made me a bit jealous of them! Anyway- everything but the burger patty itself was delicious and well prepared. One suggestion: I am a person who does not like seafood or mushrooms. I realize I am part of a strange minority, but it seemed like 85 percent of the dishes on the menu had one or the other or both, including all the ravioli and lasagna options which are normally two of my favorite dishes. Perhaps on a future menu, give more options for those who don't like seafood? read more
