The salmon and risotto was delicious. Nice big helping. Ambiance is lacking, but it's Elko, not San Francisco. We would have preferred to eat in the bar area by the windows, but were to it wouldn't be very "convenient" for our server. We will go back, as meal was great. read more

If you are looking for fresh food, friendly service and nice menu choices, this is place to dine in Elko. I highly recommend the salads and other vegetarian choices on the menu. The restaurant is a breath of fresh air in this geographically isolated area! read more

A very funky atomosphere, with great food-we had the shrimp and sausage pasta, and the short ribs-both of which were excellent. Mariah, our waitress, was exceptional-caring and excellent service. A delightful evening! read more

Fabulous food! Misty our waitress was great, cute little bartender helped us get set up with a great waitress and nice glasses of wine! The restaurant atmosphere could use maybe booths or a pony wall to give more privacy to the middle section, but the food was wonderful- lobster ravioli mmmmm! read more

A pleasant dinner. The food, chicken, pasta, was good and the service was excellent. A very friendly place. Prices were fair too. We would definitely come back for dinner on our next overnight stay in Elko. read more

We stopped off at Elko on our way to Yellowstone. We used Yelp to find it and we were not disappointed. No wait, service was quick. Food was surprisingly good for Elko (we had low expectations given that it's in the middle of the desert). Beware that the portions are fairly large so if you are there with small kids, you may want to share a plate. The pasta was yummy - unfortunately, we were so full that we couldn't eat any dessert. read more

Stopped in here again while on a road trip. Thursday night...seated quickly. I had a baked pasta that was delicious. My toddler cobbled up the spaghetti (she can be picky). Our service was great. For an Italian restaurant outside a metro area I wouldn't expect any better. read more

A fine dinner in a fine restaurant--no red flags, but not amazing either. No complaints. Not stellar, though. Kid meal mac & cheese is of the boxed (like Kraft) variety--okay, but at a pasta place I expected it to be more house made (like an actual white sauce). Kid meal tortellini was also fine, but it looked like factory made tortellini--fine, but not 5 star. Lasagna was good enough, and the marinara was good (and did not seem canned). My husband got a penne sausage dish, which was okay but overly salty for his taste. Server was great, the kids menu came with crayons, the bathrooms were clean, the hostess was welcoming, and our shared Fat Tire came with two glasses which was a kind touch. Lovely art on the walls (for reals!). read more

Great food rolled into town late and they severed us 5 minutes until closing time. They were still friendly and had fast and good service. Worth it. The food was really good and the decor was cute. Defiantly worth the stop. read more

The food was delicious. I had the sausage lasagne and really fresh and light, not overly cheesy.

This place is excellent. I am a woman traveling alone through NV, stopped here for dinner based on pother reviews. I was treated like a queen, had an outstanding rib-eye with mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes and Brussels Sprouts. Kudos to the chef, and thank you to the server and hostess for making me feel so comfortable. Unfortunately, I was too full to try house-made dessert. I was told the chef-owner was a pastry chef in his previous life. read more

This is my favorite place to eat in Elko! Whether you planning on steak, lamb, seafood, or pasta, you will be impressed! Everything is always over the top excellent! read more

For Elko - these guys deserve 5 stars - food is strong, service fast and very very friendly! I'm glad we stopped here on our way through. Artichoke ravioli and salads were tasty! read more

Came upon this restaurant quite by accident. Couldn't get into the Basque restaurant down the street so decided to give this a try. Wonderful food and exceptional service!!! Five star all the way!! read more

I usually come here for lunch, but dinner is equally as good. I love their Meatball sub. The service is always prompt and friendly!!

If you go, order pasta. Everything else we've tried is fair. Tonight service was fair. Food was blah. Why is it so hard to remove shrimp tails? They refused so went with pork medallions. Dry. Table next to us said filet was overdone - they never came back or took care of them. Not good Luciannos. read more

Food was blah, priced way to high for the quality of the restaraunt and the quality of the food. Service was great though.

We never actually tried the food because we were never seated! The restaurant was crowded, but we were told a 30-45 minute wait. We waited and hung out for an hour and still didn't have a table. Once we inquired at the front to see where we were on the list, we were told we couldn't be seated due to the crowd and reservations. While I understand being busy and not being able to get us in, we were quite upset with the horrible customer service. I wonder how long we would've waited to not eat, had we not inquired? This would've been great information to have had when we arrived. So yes, the food may be great but I'll never know because I won't be back. read more

Under cooked food. Would not suggest. Had much better luck with other restaurants in the area like JRS or Aspens in the red lion. Been twice both times they messed up the food and lots of attitude from the servers read more

Passing through. Found this gem. Not a 5 star in the big city but no better place can be found in Elko. Good service and delicious food. I wish the Italian restaurants in Montgomery were this good read more

In Sept., a group of hikers from the Tahoe area enjoyed a fabulous evening at Luciano's. There were approximately 50 in our party. Luc and his staff served an outstanding meal to our group. Everyone raved about the tasty food and wonderful service. All deserve a huge KUDO ! read more

I was taken to Luciano's by a special friend who lives here in Elko. We were fortunate to have Coco as our waitress. Coco was the epitome of friendly, she made us feel right at home. The food was Incredible!!! I had the Seafood Risotto, the best I've ever tasted! The presentation was as wonderful as the taste. I highly recommend Luciano's when in Elko! And ask for Coco, you will have a memorable evening. read more

We loved the food! Eggplant Parmesan was light and well prepared. Sausage with Hunters Sauce was excellent as well. Great service!

The staff and service were good, salad and wine were highlight of meal. Lobster ravioli were cold, tasted frozen and opening a can of crushed tomatoes is NOT a pasta sauce. read more

Had an awesome coconut margarita and lobster ravioli. It was amazing. And the service was excellent. Thanks Cassie!

This was the best food I have every eaten in Elko. Service is good and atmosphere is excellent. The best restaurant in Elko

Just moved to town and decided to try this place out. Food was great, servers were all upbeat and friendly. But the one thing I was appalled by was the yelling we could hear coming from the kitchen. It was very busy in there but that was so unprofessional to hear the cook or someone yelling at the wait staff while we tried to have our meal. The only reason this got 3 stars was the food and waitresses were excellent. Don't think I'll be back if that's what we will have to listen to. read more

I just had one of my favorites which is not on the menu (bass stuffed with crab meat over pasta with lobster sauce) which is to die for!!! Lic made it especially for me. You can not beat the food or the service. Best restraint in northern Nevada!@ read more

Came in Saturday night for our anniversary dinner. Some new faces since we were there last. Hostess was welcoming as soon as we walked in and she sat us after a short wait since restaurant was packed. Our waitress Tabbie was very attentive even though she had numerous tables. Asked her for suggestions for fish. Took her up on the salmon dinner which was fabulous. My husband had the ribeye which was the best steak he'd ever had. Dessert was out of this world. We had chocolate mousse & raspberry cheesecake. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Wait staff was incredible & food will keep us coming back again & again. Thank you Luciano's for a wonderful anniversary dinner. read more

Pay in cash! My wife and I had a great dinner, delicious ravioli, good bread and appitizers... service was good although not outstanding. When they brought the check I paid with a credit card leaving what came out to be a 16% tip. Imagine my surprise a week later when I checked my credit card statement to see that an extra $5 had been added to the tip. I checked my copy of the receipt to make sure I wasn't mistaken. Not a lot of money, but hard to trust a place that would steal money from their patrons. read more

Maybe we caught them on a bad night, but I was less than impressed. Nice atmosphere for date night, we went early so not much of a crowd. Ordered manicotti with meat sauce and filet Oscar. Caesar salad was just dressing and lettuce in a bowl, no cheese or croutons, which I would have thought normal had I not seen a salad as we were leaving with cheese on top. The manicotti was buried under a pile of sauce, date said it was good, just a little too much tomatoes. The filet was cooked as I asked, but it had an odd smell, almost like meat that is about to go bad, also the texture was odd. Pretty much every bite I took I thought "I hope this doesn't make me sick", the asparagus was good, could have had a little more sauce on top as well as crab, there was maybe 3/4 of a tablespoon of crab meat. After dinner, we decided on dessert, the lemon bar was delicious, nice and tart lemon flavor. The lemon cake was good except for tasting like it might have been sitting in a fridge too long, had a slightly unpleasant taste and was a little stale. I know a lot of people who eat here and love it, I was just not impressed with the meal. read more

The woman at the front desk of our hotel recommended for us to try Silver Street for dinner restaurants. After walking a little ways down the street we were disappointed to find only crowded noisy bars or run down basque restaurants. We were extremely relieved to find Luciano's past all of these restaurants. A friendly hostess seated us and we were brought water and deliciously warm bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. We ordered our drinks and food and when we were almost finished with our bread, complimentary salads were brought out to us! Our waitress had a smile on her face the entire time and even though she was very busy she always made sure to check on us at the right times. The service was amazing and we made sure to give her a hearty tip. The food came out at a reasonable time and was very tasty (I would definitely recommend the lobster ravioli!). The restaurant is spacious and not too loud with a quaint sort of feel to it. For such a great experience we were surprised to see how cheap the bill was when it came out! They even gave us my favorite pillowy kind of mints! If I ever happen to find myself in Elko, Nevada again I will make sure to revisit Luciano's, it is a great restaurant. read more
