Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Tastemaker with beef, pork, and sausage on one side and beef, chicken, and roma tomatoes on the other side. They were out of ham and mushroom :( The pizza was surprisingly good! The cheese was completely melted and they were generous with the toppings. The toppings were seasoned nicely without being overly salty. It's more of a fluffy bake than crispy which we enjoyed. Ambience: N/A - ordered online and got the food to go Service: 5/5 - cashier was super cheerful and friendly. We got there a few minutes early for pick up and he did let us know it would be a few minutes wait. While we were waiting, a customer tried to order a Hawaiian pizza but left since they had no ham Value for price: 4/5 - a tad bit more expensive than the other chains but the pizza was delicious! read more

Update: The manager made things right. Hopefully she can prevent such issues in the future. She had great customer service! We had an order that was over $60, and we waited 20 minutes after the app's delivery time before calling. We never got a person. 50 minutes past delivery time we went down there to see where our food was. I understand they are short on drivers, but maybe call customers??? Maybe answer the phone? Our food was cold and it was 8pm. We made them refund our money and just went without dinner. Thank you Pizza Hut. I needed a relaxing night but instead my family went without. It's been years since I've had Pizza Hut. After a pretty rough week, I felt optimistic to try it out again. Upon arrival, we were briefly greeted by a young man that said he'd be with us shortly. We waited a couple of minutes then a woman (the manager with pretty purple hair) helped us. She was patient with us being indecisive and very kind. We ordered a stuffed crust pizza, my half with veggies and my tiny human chose pineapple. The pizza was great, we enjoyed the crust very much so for our first time trying it. Ambiance was kind of a throwback atmosphere, makes me think of pizza parties as a kid. There in fact was one while we were there! Thank you for having great customer service. Zero stars should be an option. Ordered pizza to our hotel at 8PM. It is now after 10 PM our order never arrived. I have three crying kids sitting in a hotel room that never got to eat. Called the store 3 times to see if we would get our food, got passed to customer service 1-800 number each time. Never got to eat. Worst experience ever, store closed at the same time as customer service, so now have to file fraud claim on our credit card. read more

This place gets zero stars from me. Holy poop. Worst experience I've had with a pizza place. Called and placed my order after they hung up on my wife 2x. Places and was told it would be an hour to be delivered. Hour and a half plus I called to find out. Well the wife tried and got hung up on 2x again. I got through and told the guy what was going on. He thought he muted me and I could hear him saying they can't find it. The manager got on the phone and I again told her what's going on. When I said the employee told me an hour she told me they didn't. I called her out for calling me a liar. I had to fight and argue to get a refund to find out it was sent out less then 15 mins before I called. So a pizza that I was told would be an hoist hadn't even left until and hour and a half after I called it in. The manager attempted to give me $100 in credit because of it. Nope, not at all. I refused it and told them to refund the money. She attempted to argue and again I stressed I wanted to see that money back on my card tonight. The lady apologized and attempted to explain how bad it was there. I don't really care. I hated having to be a duck but c'mon, this is pathetic. I don't know what is going on at that place but it's complete crap. Screw this place and the company. It's amazing that this place can stay open. Avoid this place at all costs. First off the pizza was much thinner than most locations. I came in with a Groupon voucher that listed Elko as a location it could be used. At first I was told they didn't accept Groupon vouchers. I explained that Groupon said they do and they called a manager who told them to accept it this time, but next time it couldn't be used on the Tastemaker. This would actually make it cheaper to not use the Groupon, what's the point? I really think that if you don't want to honor Groupon you should just remove your Location from Groupon. I've never had this issue at any other Pizza Hut Location. The extra thin pizza gave me the impression that this location skimps on their ingredients. read more

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. I ordered a pizza, breadsticks, and chicken wings. Pizza showed up 20 minutes after the expected delivery & the chick who brought it basically threw my pizza at me and was EXTREMELY rude, most likely because it was 10 pm and she was pissed she had to stay til closing, not my problem. Well when we opened the pizza box it was NOT EVEN COOKED. There was absolutely no crust and everything was doughy, and there was no sauce on the pizza at all. It was disgusting. Moving on the cheese breadsticks, they weren't cut at all just a slab of bread laying there. The cheese was burnt and gross and it was very dry. When I was living in Sacramento, I never enjoyed Pizza Hut very much. I had closer places that i considered better tasting for a better deal, and I had extremely bad service at one branch in particular... So when I moved to Elko, I was disappointed to learn that my closest option for pizza was this Pizza Hut; but I figured this was a different location, it had been a few years, and I should give them a chance. First, I loaded up their website and was extremely happy to see that ordering online was easier than I had ever seen before. Then I noticed they had added a ton of options to their menu since the last time I had ordered... specifically in the Deals section! I've been ordering from this branch for about 6 months now and I could not possibly be happier with my experience. The pizza always arrives quickly, the drivers are always friendly and polite, they have not ONCE messed up my pizza! The worst experience I have had so far was when a delivery driver forgot my root beer, and I didn't realize it until he had driven away. I called in and spoke with a manager who immediately credited me with 5 dollars towards my next purchase and handled the entire call in a very professional manner. I will be ordering from this location faithfully as long as I am living in this wonderful city, thank you so much to all the hard working people who put so much effort into their jobs here! read more

I know what you're saying when you see this--five stars for a Pizza Hut? Well to me, you have to evaluate each place for what it is, and when you compare this place to other Pizza places, this one is five stars all the way. Food at Pizza Hut is generally always similar, but I've never had an order messed up or food prepared anything less than perfectly at this location. Drinks are always full and it comes out quick so come in hungry and be ready to eat right away because this place is on the ball. Great service too--the wait staff here is top notch and the front end register folks are fast and efficient. Can't beat this place. For a nice low price you are full and happy with some extra change in your wallet for later. Good stuff! read more

If I could rate this place as a zero I would. I live 26 miles from the Pizza Hut in Elko. So that is a 52 mile round trip. When I placed the call for pick up I got their "call center". they were so inept they could not pronouce "Idaho" as in Idaho Street where they are located. Then I tried to place the order and they could not even take a three item order and transfered me to the restaraunt. When the young man answered it took him about 12 minutes to take a three item order. When I got to the place and went to pay for my order the lady said that will be $32.85!!! This should have been $20.00 +tax, about $21.50 and that took about 10 minutes to fix. When I got my pizza, I had ordered the Tastemaker, Large thin and crisp, double pepperoni, extra cheese and pork topping with buttery garlic crust. Well it had barely enough pepperoni on it for a single pizza, no extra chees, not garlic crust and very little pork topping. When I got home and looked at the reciept she still over charged me for my drinks. I have yet to go to this location and NOT have a problem. Do yourself a favor and go to Domino's, cleaner, better, and they never get an order wrong. read more

Visiting Elko, NV the kids wanted Pizza so we stopped here. Came inside not one of the teenagers working there offered to help us as we stood there waiting. Around 6pm we came to this location. A customer who was large and tall bumped into me obviously drunk spilled her beer all over me. The entire time not one of the teens watching all of this happen said a word to us. First of all not saying anything to us like "Hi how can I help you guys?" And second of all didn't even offer me a towel to wipe up the beer spilled all on my right side. Usually love Pizza Hut. It's what I order for dinners locally and usually for lunch if I plan and sharing with my coworkers. Customer service this time was awful. I made a mistake that resulted in a little bit longer drive for the delivery person, but I was more than willing to compensate him for that mistake.. if he hadnt come in being such a jerk. First of all the cashier was rude, I asked her for salad she ignored me , kept talking to my husband & when she decided she was ready to answer. They had no salads . The pizza was cold , the cheese wasn't even melted . They said they would call and let us know when the pizza was done , they didn't. So, we haven't ordered pizza from this location in a long time, because it sucked, and we thought, "why not give it another go? They may have changed." But they didn't. They did not. We ordered our pizza at 6. It came at 7:15. But not all of it. They were missing a pizza. We tried to call and let them know. Four times- 1st time, we were put on hold and then 'disconnected' 2nd time, our call was automatically transferred to the main office's voice mail. 3rd time, it rang 3 times, we heard them pick up and then 'click' 4th time, they answered, really disgruntled, and said they would finally send our missing pizza out. That was about 35 minutes ago now and I don't think we're actually going to see that pizza, because that's what past experience tells me. If you go in to the actual restaurant at lunch time it has a decent buffet and they're mostly clean. Mostly. But other than that, they are rarely on time, they are unorganized, and you can tell the employees hate it there. So yeah. Maybe we'll check in again next year to see if it's changed because we like the chain's pizza. But, in all honesty, I won't be getting my hopes up over them. ***Update**** They did bring the missing pizza. At 8:20. Right toppings, but God bless them, they made it a size smaller than we paid for and it was cold. Like it had been sitting out for who knows how long. read more

Second time in a row I had to call and complain. The first time was worse, it's apparently super hard to cut pizza into slices, it was a complete mess. There were sizes of all kinds and some that were squared, triangle and some other odd shaped pieces. I didn't get anything reimbursed for this. The second time I ordered 2 orders of wings, and I thought they usually came with sauces, but I ordered 2 extra ranch and 2 blue cheese, 50 cents a piece. The delivery arrived and there was ranch spilled on the top of one of the boxes however there were no sauces in my order at all. I paid about $40 for this order, the least they could do was remember my sauces. I think it's time to find a new alternative! read more

My wife and I had pizza, pasta, and bread sticks delivered to our hotel. The delivery took about 45 minutes, which is a little on the long side for Elko, but not horrible. For horrible, look to the food. The bread sticks -- normally a carb/grease-porn treat -- could crack teeth. Luke warm, rock hard on the outside, and dry and cottony on the inside. The personal pan pizza was cool to the touch and about 6 inches across. The smallest piece contained two bites, the largest maybe four. This was actually the best part of the meal. The pasta -- Chicken Alfredo with rotini noodles - tasted like tapeworms basted in rancid cream cheese with lots of garlic, Avoid. read more

My gripe here is relatively small in nature. It was a simple request that I asked on their online ordering system: to cut my personal pan pizza into a pentagram. Such a simple request, yes?
