The cashier eventually acknowledged me and asked my name and called it out, but he was literally ignored and everyone in back just kind of disappeared leaving him to handle everything. When he got a second he went to look for my order. I suspect that my order was made as soon as it was received and tossed in a fridge. Considering it was literally a 20 minute pick up time and I was there in 15, that's a little irritating. Pulled it out of a fridge in back. The food...ok. the tortilla chips were slightly better than Tostitos lime chips. My salsa for them was about a shot glass worth. Not adequate at all. The salsa was good, just skimpy. My bowl would have been good, except it was cold. Cold rice, cold beans, cold honey chipotle chicken. Not room temp, cold. Not a great experience. Agree with the low reviews. Food had potential, service was disorganized and staff was lousy leaving two team members to handle the lunch rush, such as it barely was. Restaurant was pretty clean overall. Will probably try other locations, but won't be back to the Elko one. That it was clean was the only advantage over Costa Vida.
