I looked them up on the APP, it showed that they were right around the corner, I called them up and told them that I was off Holland road and Lynnhaven PKWY, the person did not have a clue where that was, I told him the store address is listed on Lynnhaven PKWY, I am right down the street, he put me on hold and then came back on the phone and told me that he would have a technician call me back in 5 minutes. I lost the keys to my car And I was pregnant and I felt so horrible I didn't know what to do. It was raining outside and it was dark so I was really scared. I was googled to see what was the best locksmith around and the few of them popped up but I felt like I really needed an angel :) so their name stood out and I called them. The operator sounded very professional and he transferred my call to their nearby agent. He came within a few minutes thankfully and literally I felt like I was rescued. He was very nice and professional he managed to open my car within a few minutes using his tools it was no scratches he kept everything clean and neat and he was very courteous. The price was very reasonable I thought it would be more than that to open my car. I would recommend them to my friends and people in my community because they were courteous professional timely and honest. read more

Scam all the way. "Couldn't" unlock my front door, told me my lock was now broken & wanted to replace the whole thing. He came back 3 times trying to get me to pay a $30 service fee! Told him to tell his story walking. Called a reputable locksmith & was inside in 5 minutes. Do not use these people. read more

Was quoted for a new key fob over the phone $135. Guy gets here pulls my key out my key fob opens my car and states it's $135. That's not what I asked for. Then proceed to tell me a new key fob is actually $170 but he'll charge me $230 for everything. And then wanted cashapp as payment because he didn't want to pay bank fees for a debit card. I feel scammed and that's very unprofessional. Don't quote one price over the phone and then change it to something totally different when you get here. And the new key fob he gave me goes to a van not even my suv. They also turned there google reviews off so you can't even review them on google. Definitely don't recommend. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. I started calling around for prices to get my truck unlocked and when I heard their price I told them "I'd call them back" when in reality they were way too expensive. I called the next one one the list and they were WAY more reasonably priced (Belles) In the mean time I'm sitting here light headed and dizzy waiting to get my car unlocked so I can go to urgent care (where I've been trying to get to all day) and I receive a call asking for my address, I give it to him thinking I thought I gave the man my address already. The amazing, polite hardworking locksmith shows up and unlocks my car and is good to go. Meanwhile this punk calls me, says he's here and I'm like wait? What? Apparently the first guy gave him my number and had him call me for my address. I told him it was a mix up and he pulls in my friends driveway and walks up to her door and proceeds to tell me what a terrible person I am for misunderstanding and demands gas money from me!? I told him to blame his boss not me and I don't carry cash. My friend gave him $5 to shut up and leave since we had young children around. read more

Had a fantastic experience with locksmith angels, got locked out of my house( SMH felt so awful about it) they were the first ones to pop up on yelp so I called them and they were at my house within a few minutes so professional and the technician was very courteous. Later on my husband had use them to open a safe of his and they did it very reasonably and professionally he didn't even scratch the safe. Definitely would recommend this business. read more

Called for a quote on getting my lock replaced and re keyed and was quoted $30. I said are you sure you are understanding what I need? That seems awfully low in comparison to other companies I have called. I reiterated that I needed someone to come out to my house with a new lock, install it, and re key it. He confirmed several times that it would be $30. The lady who showed up was not instructed that I needed a lock re keyed so she did not have the proper tools, so she took my broken lock off and left. Someone else came 45 minutes later but did not know I needed a new lock so had to leave to go get one. Finally after everyone figured out how to do their jobs, I was told it would be $130. Ridiculously unorganized and unprofessional company. Although both people that came out were nice. read more

We were locked out of an interior room of our house with a regular door knob, late at night. We called and the individual that showed up, demanded cash and left no receipt. We have no name. Instead of picking the lock, the individual used air bags to basically blast open the door, breaking the lock and the door jamb in the process. He said he would be back with tools the next day, but never came back, and now Locksmith Angels, will not return phone calls, emails, or even talk about the situation. It is impossible to get a hold of anybody because they don't provide a real address or office/company. The phone number on Yelp and the vendor website is a scam phone that forwards to a cell phone, that they only answer if you call from a different number and they think they are getting new work. read more

Three stars mostly due to customer service. Had Locksmith Angels come on a Monday to change the locks for my new house. On Friday afternoon the deadbolt for my garage came apart. I immediately called Locksmith Angels and they said they would not be able to come until the next morning. The following morning they showed up an hour late. I get mistakes happen, but when they do, a business should try 110% to fix them. read more

This company is a complete bait and switch, unethical, low moral company. The original price quote of $40 (which was supposed to include the service call) was then upgraded to $85 by the individual who came out. The entire process of unlocking the vehicle took less than 30 seconds and required two very simple tools. Please please please search for other honest quote/final price producing locksmiths in the Virginia Beach area. If there was an option for negative stars I would gladly give them. read more

I called these folks firstling this morning about 9 a.m. and no answer. left a message. waited about 10-15 min, no reply. So, I called another locksmith who came right away. After that I received a callback from an "Angel." I informed him I had found someone else and would not need his help. He said I would receive a call from someone to confirm the "cancellation" even though I never made an appointment! After that I received MULTIPLE phone calls from other Angel contractors, each one saying, "You made an appointment for a locksmith?" I told each one "No, I never made an appointment, just called for information." Finally, after the 4th or 5th callback spanning 8 hours I asked them to delete my name and number from their call list. UGH! And they STILL told me to expect someone else to call me to cancel my "appointment" which I never even made with them. I will never use these folks. Poorly organized and frustrating to deal with. And, I can't block them because they call from different numbers. And, just as I published this, I GOT ANOTHER CALL! And when I said, No! I never made an appointment with you guys...he hung up on me. Yep. Never, ever, ever, using this service again. read more
