The owners were not in today so I asked the receptionist what was the reason for it being held up for so long? She said the exact same story they've been telling me all along. They called to schedule our appointment, then called back 5 minutes later and didn't remember any of the details we had just discussed. Weird, but okay. I had called twice. When we picked up the car, they refunded the windshield tint. I thought we had been overcharged--nope, they didn't tint it. We brought it back, and they only did a strip instead of the full windshield, so we had to bring it back a third time. We had verified all these details the second time but still had to bring it back because they were confused and kept asking the same questions.... We specifically asked for a cutout for the state inspection sticker. Instead, they ripped the sticker off and put it in tape. Now we have to get a new sticker and risk damaging the tint when we have to get it next year. We asked for the manager to call us and never received a call.

I would not recommend Big Al's based on my experience. I brought my car in for a tune-up, but after…read morethe service my vehicle continued to have serious performance issues. Instead of the problem being fixed, I ended up spending hundreds of dollars taking my car to multiple mechanics and paying for additional diagnostic services to figure out what was wrong. After getting several professional opinions, the problem was finally identified: Big Al's installed the wrong spark plugs during the tune-up. The incorrect spark plugs caused ongoing issues that led me to believe there was something much more serious wrong with my vehicle. Because of this mistake, I wasted a significant amount of time, money, and stress chasing a problem that should never have happened in the first place. What should have been a routine tune-up turned into an expensive ordeal. I had to pay for multiple inspections, diagnostic tests, and other unnecessary services before the real cause was discovered. I trusted Big Al's to perform the work correctly, and that trust was broken. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of workmanship and the financial burden this mistake caused. I expect Big Al's to take responsibility by refunding the cost of the faulty tune-up and reimbursing me for the additional expenses I incurred because of their error. I hope they improve their quality control so other customers do not have to go through what I experienced.
