Lori was patient and available to help every time I had a question, made a change (I made several), offered helpful suggestions, and even helped with the local concrete contractor that we hired that was being very unprofessional and difficult because he had made some critical errors pouring our concrete slab that had to be corrected. To be clear, neither Garage Buildings nor Lori had any affiliation with our concrete contractor but she was very helpful and influential in getting him to correct the errors that he made that would have delayed getting our building erected as well as negatively impacting our barn build. The crew they sent for the install was very professional and did a great job as well. They did not cut any corners and took pride in their work. Then, we had a lot of rain and some flooding. He works from his back yard & said his flooding was bad. Well, at least one of my mowers must have sat in a flooded area because the 2nd man I paid to fix it said the carburetor was all gunked up; It also needed a new air filter. It worked for about 5 minutes after he brought it back & it quit working. The rider lasted for one mowing. Josh said he's a veteran. Well, my 92 yer-old dad is a veteran too & his riding mower didn't get repaired. Josh Miller didn't respond to messages by text, email or phone. It's so sad to give people your trust & then be treated like poop. Very unprofessional too.

He did say younger kids can go. But please understand, when you hit the steel, hot metal comes flying out! I didn't think I was going to be strong enough to do it but I did! It was fun to make my little tomahawk. I learned a lot. He's a trained blacksmith and has worked up in Williamsburg so he knows a lot! This will probably be fun with friends but as usual, I went solo! The tomahawk didn't take as long as I had expected. But I had a lot of fun. You actually get to do a lot more than you think. Cool shop. Like I said, I used Eventbrite to buy a ticket. But I'm sure if you call, they will be more than happy to help you. His wife is super sweet and is also really friendly and helpful.
