Such a pretty awning that makes us feel like we are summering in the south of France . We had guests coming and they rushed the product so that it could be installed before a certain date. The employees told us that Mr and Mrs Bigelow are really nice people and that they love working there, which was also nice to hear. The awning's remote control is the same kind as the ones for our indoor windows shades. The button batteries in it are VERY common and easily found! It is very simple to change them. There is nothing about our awning about which we are unhappy! We will get the awning serviced soon for the winter. We do think that the cost for this service is a bit high, but worthwhile to maintain the functionally of the awning.

I turned to Yelp to commission a brick mason to fix my decrepit steps and Lucas S. of MASONRY RESTORATION and SERVICES contacted me for the job. Lucas S. placed a bid on the job which was a flat fee; no hassles. I appreciated his pricing for the job as it was a fair price for the scope of the assignment. On the first day, Lucas S. arrived at the job site on time and ready to go. He skillfully removed all the old mortar from between the bricks and prepared the steps for the acceptance of the new mortar. The following day Lucas arrived to fill in the color matched new mortar surrounding the bricks. He took meticulous care to ensure that all the bricks were filled with new mortar and were aligned properly. The bricks and mortar were allowed to set for full day to ensure the structural integrity of the steps were properly secured. On the third day Lucas arrived to apply a chemical solution to remove any excess grout and dust film that had accumulated during the work. The steps were restored to look brand new. Lucas cleaned up the job site ensuring all the dust and debris was removed to my satisfaction. Anyone looking for a brick mason, reach out to Lucas S. of MASONRY RESTORATION and SERVICES for a professional, highly skilled and meticulous craftsman. He will provide you an outstanding product at a very fair and competitive price.

It was a coincidence they arrived near the same time during the arrival windows, and not a problem at all, they said it happens all the time. For context, this is about $1,000 to $2,500 job, not a $150 job, but not an enormous $50k job either. I introduced the 2 electricians, they were friendly and professional to each other and to me, we had nice initial 5 minute introduction conversation. Dan asked very few questions and he didn't write anything down, it felt more like Dan was there for show than to learn about the project and create an honest, accurate quote. Dan left after about 10 minutes. The other electrician took notes, asked great questions over an additional 15-20 minutes to ensure he truly understood everything involved and needed, he gave thoughtful feedback and provided a professional, comprehensive quote. Dan Levinsky literally left and was never heard from again. He provided no feedback, no quote and no follow up. Nothing. Dan proved that exactly what was experienced in the first experience with him, was indeed accurate, there was no misunderstanding, he showed his true colors. Dan showed poor communication, zero follow up, he can't be trusted or counted on to do what he says, his advertising is not true, and there's no way I would hire his company. I would absolutely not recommend Dan Levinsky and Sons Electrical.
