We had Freshen Up pick up and deliver back to us an 8x10 plush area rug full of pet stains that had been rolled up and kept in a car in the driveway for about six months. This rug originally cost us over $500. These people put incredible energy into cleaning that rug to the point where it could be delivered back to us in excellent condition. We would call to ask about the rug and we were told it was so badly soiled that they had to work on it over and over for a month! They simply wouldn't give up on it - wow, what great customer service! Stan delivered the rug to us and I had him look at a seam in our living room carpeting that had separated and also asked him about getting our huge sectional cleaned. He gave me an incredibly reasonable estimate. We recommend this company to all of our friends and will hire them again and again. Just had my carpet cleaned with their basic cleaning package. The gentleman was punctual, professional and efficient. They deep cleaned and scented my 5 room condo for $75! Deep stains were removed and the carpet looks great. I couldn't be happier with the work they did! read more

We needed the carpet cleaned in our apartment when we moved out. My kids had spilled food and drinks and I was worried about the stains coming out. The carpet looks brand spanking new! Extremely irritated, I called a week or so ago to make a time for them to come out to my place they said they would be here between 8-11 am it is 11:16 called the lady answered "shell" and said she would get ahold of the guy and see what is going on. I waiting for an hour and still no update. I have finally gotten ahold of them and the carpet guy called me said there was a mix up. Now my whole day is not going to work when i need to call cause they can not do their job. read more

If I could give them 0 STARS, I absolutely would. I am not sure if this company was taken over by someone else recently or they are getting so much business that they have forgotten what customer service is suppose is but one thing is for sure, I WILL NEVER HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR CARPET CLEANING! I scheduled an appointment last week for someone to clean my carpet this week on October 4th from 8-11 am. By 11:15 no-one had arrived so I called the company spoke with an individual named Shelly and she stated I was for sure on the list and she would find out what happened. Forty-Five minutes passed no technician, no return call. So, I called back, and Shelly states "Oh yea Travis said he was on his way, he is on Battlefield he said he tried to call and text you." I informed her that no-one called nor text me and I needed to know what time "Travis" would be coming because I had to things that I needed to do. She said she would find out. Another 30 minutes passed no return call, no technician. I called Freshen-Up's business number back no-one picked up, I left a message, no one ever called back or attempted to apologize for this huge inconvenience. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL BE SURE TO LET EVERYONE IN MY COMMUNITY KNOW NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND LOVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Do NOT use this place! Would give negative five stars if that was an option. Had a stained area rug picked up for cleaning. I was told it would take about a week. After a month of waiting, I called and was told that they do not clean that material. Noone ever called to let me know this, and now the rug is ruined. The owner was extremely rude and refused to do anything about this or reimburse me in any way. He didn't even have the decency to apologize. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

The two gentlemen who showed were polite and stated it would only take 5 minutes to complete the dryer vent cleaning. Once inside my home one of them pulled back my dryer. I looked afterwards to make sure the area was clean and the dryer transition duct was in good condition. Since everything looked okay I got out of crews way and let them do their job. Five minutes went by and I was summoned to report an issue. The dryer transition duct that looked okay at the beginning was completely shredded once they were done cleaning. The tech told me the dryer transition duct was old and had a tear in it before they began cleaning. I can't help but wonder if this were true why didn't the tech inform me before continuing? Since the damage was done I paid them and sent them on there way. I grabbed my keys and headed out the door to grab a new dryer transition duct only to be greeted by muddy footsteps all over my carpet. The only pro to these guys is their price. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Freshen Up cancelled an appointment without any more notice than calling less then 30 minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment time and saying they could not perform the scheduled work because they were missing their equipment. I had scheduled an appointment on Tuesday July 5th for a full apartment (3+ rooms) carpet cleaning to be done on Friday July 8th. At the time of scheduling I had informed Freshen Up that we were moving out on the 9th and therefore the carpets needed to be cleaned on the 8th as the movers were scheduled for the 7th. After talking to a female employee about scheduling and what need to be done I was told everything was good to go and Freshen Up would give me a courtesy phone call about 30 minutes before arriving on Friday. Everything appeared to be on schedule, as much as I could know, going into Friday morning. The entire apartment had been thoroughly cleaned out, all furniture removed, in expectation of Freshen Up's arrival. As the time ticked closer to the schedule appointment time I waited patiently for Freshen Up's call to tell me they were on the way. With a little less then 30 minutes to go before the appointment time my phone rang. Expecting this to be the "we're on the way" from Freshen Up I quickly answered. Unfortunately, those were not the words that were spoken, instead a driver for Freshen Up informed me that he had not been able to get the equipment needed for the carpet cleaning, supposedly somebody else had kept the equipment longer than expected, and therefore they would be unable to keep the appointment. My favorite bit from his apology for the inconvenience was when he said "Please don't blame me. I'm just the messenger. Please contact the office to find out what can be done." After this call, being completely blind sided by this last minute cancellation and knowing that I had to get the carpet cleaned that day, I frantically called Freshen Up to find out what was going on. When I got through to Freshen Up I informed the employee of what was going on and she apologized and said she would get right on it and call me right back after finding out what had happened. After 20 minutes of waiting by the phone, I still had not received a call back I called Freshen Up again. This time I got another employee at which I repeated my situation and was agin told I would receive a call within minutes. 30 minutes later no call back. At this time, being in complete desperation mode I started calling every other local carpet cleaner I could locate and finally after almost an hour of being told "no availability" and "too short of notice" I finally was able to schedule with Stanley Steamer who though cost more than twice as much as Freshen Up's quoted price did actually show up, on time I will also add, and do the work. To conclude, Freshen Up seemed like a great deal with the price I was quoted but in the end it was all for nothing as they did not even have the decency to call me back after cancelling on me at the last minute. Very disappointed with Freshen Up to say the least. read more

Worst experience ever!! Zero communication from these folks while they had my area rugs. They were supposed to pickup the rugs between 2-5 but nobody showed up or called. I called them and was told they should be out sometime tonight, finally showed up about 6...glad I left work early. After a week or so and ZERO contact, I called to get a status on my rugs. I was told they were ready and they just needed to know the best day to bring them back, that was Monday and I asked for them to be delivered late day Friday...no problem. I also asked what the total was, Cheryl the customer service rep had no idea, she said she would call me the next day and let me know, that never happened. Friday rolls around and once again no contact from anyone so I called Cheryl, again no clue about why they hadn't been delivered yet and no idea what the total charge was. Service tech/delivery guy texts me to tell me they are still working on one of the rugs and he would bring them out first thing in the morning, funny thing is I was told on Monday they were already done and ready to go. Saturday morning the delivery guy texts me he's on his way and had the total, $100. That's way lower than what I had anticipated, but he said due to the mixup I was receiving a discount. Rugs arrive, I pay my bill and away goes the delivery guy. Big rug looks better than when it left but it still had a couple dirty spots so half-ass effort, first smaller rug looks better than when it left, there was still dried baking soda on the rug where I had worked to get a pet stain out, so half-ass effort at best on that rug. Third rug was damp so I'm guessing they did something to it, but when I picked it up to move it...still smelled like pee from the puppy. So this carpet was obviously not cleaned worth a damn, if at all. At first I thought I got a great deal, not so much!!! I feel ripped off having paid $100 for a total half-ass effort and piss poor customer service!! The ONLY POSITIVE was the tech/delivery guy, he was courteous and friendly during each interaction.
