I took my Ego lawn mower to this place after an experience from another repair company that left me…read morefeeling very uncomfortable. My mower was less than 2 months old but needed to have the self propelled mower replaced as it was defected. The first place on the list that would repair Ego mowers was this other place that had a 30 dollar deposit which would be refunded after the warranty covered the repairs. What made me uncomfortable was the fact that the wait was over a month before they would look at it. Not only that, it would be sitting outside in the elements (or a somewhat covered area still outside). It was the hottest time of the summer and I felt with an electric mower, it wouldn't be good for the components, the fading or whatever would occur in that months time. I didn't like that and called Capital. Capital answered right away and said they could have it seen in less than 2 days and repaired as soon as the parts came in. I was looking at a week vs over a month. Their deposit was 60 dollars however I didn't care about that because I knew it was covered by ego. Everything went very smooth and a week later, my mower was fixed and back to brand new status. It was actually better than new because the motor to the self propelled was defected from the beginning. I got the deposit back with no hassle and was on my way. I was thrilled with the service and for certain would be taking my equipment back here if ever needed. Oh, I did mention to them the other place had my mower outside and he was shocked to hear that especially with an electric one. He took me over to the warehouse that was an actual building and showed me where my mower would be. That was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend this place for your repairs.

I did a little research of reviews for HVAC companies in Chesapeake and found Simmons had great ratings. I found quickly why they had 5-stars! My previous HVAC contractor had been out twice and I was left with, " you need a new thermostat" and left with a cold house. That's when I found Simmons. They were very responsive and were out within 8 hours. The technician was very polite, professional and explained everything about the system (since I was unfamiliar with a dual-fuel system). He identified the problem and made the necessary repairs quickly. Having had a great experience then, I put the system under contract with them. Since then they have not let me down. They have kept my system in excellent condition. This week I suddenly had an issue with heat. Called and had a technician here within 3 hours. He got the system working but the next day I had the same issue and on one of the coldest days the system was out again. I called after hours and within 15 minutes had a call back from the on-call tech who said he would be here in 20 minutes. He was. The problem was so minute, a loose connection, but trouble shooting that was a pain for him, but he found the problem within 15 minutes. Simmons is my only HVAC system contractor. I know the age of the existing system and understand it only has a few years left in it. I feel confident that Simmons will keep it running great and when the dreaded day comes, it will be Simmons technicians installing a new system.

We then paid the fee and was told the mower would be delivered the next day. The lawn mower was not delivered, no phone call, no text. I am giving them a 2 star rating, mainly because their communication is awful. we received no update about when we could expect the work to be done, nor did we get the lawn mower back in a timely manner as stated by this office. 3 weeks for a tune up.

He did say younger kids can go. But please understand, when you hit the steel, hot metal comes flying out! I didn't think I was going to be strong enough to do it but I did! It was fun to make my little tomahawk. I learned a lot. He's a trained blacksmith and has worked up in Williamsburg so he knows a lot! This will probably be fun with friends but as usual, I went solo! The tomahawk didn't take as long as I had expected. But I had a lot of fun. You actually get to do a lot more than you think. Cool shop. Like I said, I used Eventbrite to buy a ticket. But I'm sure if you call, they will be more than happy to help you. His wife is super sweet and is also really friendly and helpful.
