Rep asked if I had hose connected and water on. "It's known problem" that it may not run with pressure on. Duhh? That's what manual requires to keep pump cool and that's what it's used for. If known problem why didn't they test that at shop? Needed control cable $65 and 5 more weeks..3 months waiting! Never use them again.

Brought in a Ryobi string trimmer head for warranty service. There was a $60 deposit which I was…read moretold would be mostly refunded, minus shop supplies. After a week or so, they called to tell me the repair wasn't covered by the warranty and that not only would my deposit not be refunded it would be another $60 for the repair. When I arrived to pick it up they initially told me the remaining balance was $98. After a couple minutes they then told me it was $74. I grudgingly paid it but felt very taken advantage of. I would have just bought a new one for what this "warranty" service ended up costing me. I would not recommend avoiding this place.
