From the very beginning, the staff was professional, knowledgeable, and exceptionally easy to work with. The trimmer needed a new motor and switch, which they replaced under warranty. The mower had a much more difficult issue... would no longer start, and even after extensive troubleshooting, the exact cause couldn't be determined. Beach Lawn & Garden worked closely with Ryobi throughout the warranty process, kept me informed every step of the way through both phone calls and emails, and made what could have been a frustrating experience remarkably easy. I also appreciated that they were upfront about the $40 diagnostic deposit for each tool, and once the warranty work was approved, they promptly refunded the full $80 without any hassle. In the end, Ryobi chose to replace my mower with a brand-new current-generation model, complete with two new 6Ah batteries and a new rapid charger. While that was Ryobi's decision, Beach Lawn & Garden handled the entire process professionally and made everything go smoothly from start to finish. To top it all off, they were kind enough to hold both of my tools for a few extra weeks while I was unable to make the trip to Virginia Beach to pick them up. That level of customer service is increasingly hard to find. Beach Lawn & Garden has earned my trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing service, repairs, or warranty work on outdoor power equipment. Rep asked if I had hose connected and water on. "It's known problem" that it may not run with pressure on. Duhh? That's what manual requires to keep pump cool and that's what it's used for. If known problem why didn't they test that at shop? Needed control cable $65 and 5 more weeks..3 months waiting! Never use them again.

I had them do go ahead and do a full services including changing the seat bushings all together about $813.13. Aug 6, 2024 I went to go out and mow and the same thing happened again, would not crank, the fuel was low so I added some just to make sure, Still would not crank. I hooked up my jump box and it cranked and blew some smoke the result of bad fuel as it turned out. But it still would not crank . The tank had to be drained and the said the battery was dead and just needed to be charged $550.56. Sept 4, 2024 I had used the mower twice and It did the same thing again would not crank. They told me it was a solenoid and another part price $650.00. I am not saying they charged me for something they did not do, but that they did not do or fix what should have done to begin in June. So after $2012.69 Jenifer in Service offered me $150.00 discount. I will never use them again I will send my Deere to James River Equipment in Wakefield.

After a week or so, they called to tell me the repair wasn't covered by the warranty and that not only would my deposit not be refunded it would be another $60 for the repair. When I arrived to pick it up they initially told me the remaining balance was $98. After a couple minutes they then told me it was $74. I grudgingly paid it but felt very taken advantage of. I would have just bought a new one for what this "warranty" service ended up costing me. I would not recommend avoiding this place.

I purchased a ryobi 3300 pressure washer within the last 6-8 months. I paid cash for it, I assume I…read morethrew the receipt away with the box. Or it went through the washer machine. I go to use pressure washer for the second time and it would not build pressure. I take it back to the store fairly simple they exchanged it with very little issues. I go home put it together and the hose turn the water on squeeze the trigger nothing I turn water off repeat the process and nothing. I then put it in truck and back to Home Depot I go. This time I ask am I doing something wrong so we take to rental area with store employee and hook up the water and nothing, we exchange it for a 3rd pressure washer off the shelf go through the same steps and nothing!! At this point I ask for a store credit and I am told no since you don't have the receipt ( insinuating I stole the pressure washer from a lock area in the store). I am told contact ryobi and have it repaired, I call Home Depot and was told th manager could offer a store credit at their discretion. I waited 8 days later and go back to talk to at Home Depot after ryobi tells me the time frame for the pressure washer to be fixed is 8-10 weeks!!!! Again I talk to the same assistant manager and he says his hand are tied. I disagreed and told him what customer service told me and they should and could offer store credit. 1 hour45 minutes later I leave with a broken pressure washer!!Brand new and doesn't work! Step up Home Depot I want to get a store credit and purchase a different brand and pay the difference.
