We highly recommend Dynamic Car Audio & Security for anyone who looking to upgrade their vehicle's sound system. John was incredibly helpful when my husband was choosing new speakers for his truck. He really took the time to explain the different options and ask the right questions to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. John is professional, kind, and made us feel like long-term customers from the moment we walked in. read more

Service and a dedication to doing the job correctly!! Kept me informed at all times, these guys know their craft!!!

We recently used them to hardwire our dashcam. They're pretty popular and were booked up so keep in mind there's a bit of a wait to get stuff done. We booked in mid-February for a mid-March appointment. They did a great job! They hid all the cords very well and the dashcam works great. read more

I went to Dynamic to upgrade my subwoofer, specifically looking for a Rockford Fosgate Punch and I couldn't be happier with the results! John's attention to detail and genuine care for customer service is unmatched. They're more than a store; they're a trusted partner in my audio journey! Thanks much! read more

DO NOT do business with these guys. went to them for recommendation on a dash cam for them to install. Bought their recommendation and had them install the dash cam last week. All seemed ok until I tried to down load the software to my I-phone. can't load it. When asked to help, they refused. says some won't work with certain phones. I asked why they don't divulge this up front and just got attitude. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!! read more

The staff was very knowledgeable and professional! I will be going back to this location moving forward!

Got a remote start installed my 2015 4Runner. Priced very reasonably and turnover was quick. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the gentleman working came out with me to make sure I understood how to work it. Planning to return soon for some window tint. read more

John and the Team at Dynamic gave my car the Perfect Katzkin Leather Interior upgrade. I Love it. Setting an appointment was easy. On the day of my appointment, I showed up and dropped my car off, hours later I got the call my car was ready for pickup. Simple process and the price wasn't bad either. Well worth the anticipation after initially stamping my appointment date. read more

I had to wait several weeks for an appointment to have 1 window re-tinted (I had several holes in my drivers side from hitting it with my ring) and a car starter for my mini van. They were really nice and on-time. Price was as expected and the starter and window are great. read more

Great prices. As well and fast and reliable service. Will work with you for the best possible service.

Excellent work installing an aftermarket stereo in my Jeep. Went with the recommended radio, and it even makes the stock speakers sound better. Thanks John! read more

Recently had my head unit installed. Job was done quickly and professionally. Did not hesitate to drop off my VAG product! My only issues was the trim that sorrounds the border of the screen which fell out after I tilted the screen. thats what knocked out the 5th star. besides that they are awesome! read more

These guys are the best around. They are honest first and do not in any way try to take advantage of you or rip you off. They also do not offer you anything you don't need. John and his crew are very knowledgeable about their products and do a nice clean install. Dynamic has done audio on two vehicles I own and my experience was the same both times. You won't be disappointed. read more

This is my "go-to" shop here in Virginia Beach for window tint and audio. Have been coming here since '08 and had all three 4Runners serviced for tint and audio so needless to say I trust John & staff when it comes to my vehicles. First and foremost I'm particular about who I work with. Trust and honesty is important to me. These guys are honest and up forth about their services, including rough estimates for services being done and time needed to complete services. Secondly, I currently live in Fairfax where I always take the time to schedule an appointment with them ahead of time before I come into town. They are always on time with scheduled appointments and never disappointed me with their services performed. Tinting quality is top notch and never had issues with tint peeling or excess bubbles after the first 3 days. Audio installation is pretty basic but nonetheless these guys do it right the first time around. Don't waste your time doing it on your own if you are not a professional - they can do audio installs quicker than you can in a single day. They stand by their services and puts you in priority queue if you are having issues with services recently performed at their location. In other words they will troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise no questions asked. Now onto what services I had done at their shop earlier this afternoon...lighting installation. I just finished my light mod earlier today where John & staff installed three Rigid SR2 10" light bars and a pair of dually floods on my 4Runner. Installation was done professionally where they did a great job placing the lights exactly where I wanted these lights to be located. I strongly recommend this shop for anyone that is looking to have lightning installed, tint or audio services performed for their vehicle in Virginia Beach. read more

Consistently quick & great service. Don't try to highball you. Seating available while you wait.

I took my old truck here to get check out for no audio. They found simple wiring issues and delivery my truck back fast. Absolutely no pressure to by new products and most important their honesty in troubleshooting the vehicle. It could have been easy for them to say I needed new speakers, amps, etc like some shady folks but they didnt. They earned my trust and repeat business in the future. read more

Dynamic car audio was a great choice to have my tint work done. They were very knowledgeable not only with tinting but john with car audio systems. I didn't mean to eaves drop on a phone call but their waiting room is next to the front desk and how john was dropping his knowledge and experiences with specific systems was very informative to both myself and the customer on the phone. So there's no doubt to whether they know their products. Service was outstanding, set up an appt to get the tint done on the whole vehicle in less than an hour. Upon entering the store I was greeted which was nice cause some customers may be overwhelmed with the shop. The presentation/layout was easy to understand. So I would highly recommend this shop. Only one thing they should add for those that do have to sit and wait for their vehicle would be wifi... but that's just a 1st world problem. read more

I posted on my FB page a couple weeks ago looking for a car audio place that my friends could recommend. A majority of them said Dynamic was the go to spot. I went, got a quote, brought my truck (Tundra) in the next week for a back up camera and in dash install. Prices were very good, got my truck done in no time, and a very clean awesome job! James (owner), gave me a quote, I agreed to it, and when it was time to pay, it actually dropped a little (think he said it was a little faster than he thought). Now who does that?! Only an honest owner and shop. Brought my wife's suburban in the next day, as the DVD player stopped working (factory system), and we were confident our 4 yr old twins had stuck multiple coins in the DVD slot. He gave us a quote and, boom, less than an hour later. All fixed (it was coins) ... no charge! Now I'm not saying to go beat them up for free or discounted stuff, but I posted, because you don't find this kind of honesty too often. No doubt they've earned my future business and referrals. read more

I was recommended this shop for an audio upgrade for my Harley. I was not disappointed! John is a friendly and knowledgeable audio professional. He treated me right, gave me great prices that competed with online retailers, and went above and beyond. I will continue to come here for all my vehicle audio needs. Thanks John! read more

My name is Eric Byrum. Let me start this review by saying I know no one at Dynamic audio and security. I had never even heard of Dynamic audio and security until I looked online for a car audio business. I made the mistake of going the cheap route trying to install a radio into my son's first car. Against my wife's advice. She was right did not work out well. Needed a quick repair fix for the auto. Looked online and found Dynamic audio and security. Stop by in the morning about 10:30. Spoke with John. He informed me they were a couple of weeks out for installing radios. Explained my situation. That I was going to be in trouble with the wife if this wasn't fixed quick. He said leave it they would try to look at it over the next couple of days. I left not expecting to hear anything for several days. Later that same afternoon at 5 got a call from dynamic. They said the radio was installed working fine car is ready come get it. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with the service provided by Dynamic audio and security. I would highly, highly, highly recommend this business to anyone. In this economy when service means everything Dynamic is sure to be a winner. Knew what I wanted to get done but not knowing to much about car audio systems I didn't know what products would be best. Went in and was greeted with a smile. I told them what I wanted done and the service agent who was also the guy who would be installing my system took the time to explain my options and was patient in answering any questions I had. I was called on the day I was to bring my truck up and was told that they were ahead of schedule and if I wanted to bring my truck up early. Once I did they took the truck around back to start the work. Was given a rough time when they would be done. Came and got my truck and i couldn't be happier. They even remembered to take the cd out of my old stereo, and programmed everything for me. Then took me outside to walk me through everything. Over all a great experience. read more
