The food was ok. I ordered a gyro pita. It came with just the meat and onion on a pita. I had to ask for the sauce and some lettuce and a slice of tomato. My husband and I usually go here every Friday night for date night. I love the atmosphere and all of the staff are amazing. If you have not tired the Brussel Sprout and Goat Cheese Pizza or the Brussel Sprout Salad you are missing out. The owner Nema always stops by tables to see how his customers are doing. Once when I came home from a business trip I was hungry but didn't want to go out. My husband went and picked up salads from Local Table. I wanted the Brussel Sprout salad with gyro and my husband got it with chicken. When he got home mine had steak on it. He called Nema and the only thing Nema said was "what is your address, I will drop a fresh one off with gyro". What other place will do that. We will continue to go to Local Table. Also right out the back door of Local Table is Local Bar. You have got to go and meet the manager Lindsey. She is the best. Girls nights are always fun at either place. This will continue to be one of my favorite restaurants in Katy. If you happen to go into Local Table and its packed try to grab a seat at the bar and hope that either Elvin or Tara are working. I have been to Local Table several times since they open. I have been there with friends and also on dates. Love the ambiance, staff is very friendly. The main reason why they didn't get 5 stars is because all 4 times I've been there, we've had to flag our waiter down to get the check and I've gotten fries with my meal twice and both times the fries were soggy. Undercooked its seems. First time I let the waiter know and he took them back, by the time he bought back out new ones, I was already done with my meal. Second time, fries were soggy again..maybe that's just how their fries are? Great addition to Katy nonetheless! read more

My bf and I live in the area and have been to this place three times. The first time I had the gyro plate which wasn't great, but not bad either. It just didn't taste fresh and the bread was like the kind you get at the grocery store. The second time, I had the roasted quinoa plate, which was also just ok. Nothing special, I just wanted something light and healthy. Just went again this weekend for brunch and unfortunately this will be my last visit. I ordered the crab cake benedict for $15. The crab cakes tasted like they were frozen and just got defrosted, they were very small and had a weird smell. The eggs weren't even cooked properly as there was barely any runny yolk. It was all on ciabatta bread that wasn't even toasted. I honestly don't know how this place has so many rave reviews. The only thing I like about this place is the decor and their cocktails but it's not worth coming back for. They need to step it up. People can tell when your food is not fresh. read more

Love their mint tea! There mushroom pizza is so delicious that I can't make myself order something different. It has two types of mushrooms, arugula and an egg cooked in the middle. The crust is flavorful and crispy. The pepper flakes add a perfect amount of spicy. The hummus is subpar. I wouldn't order that again. read more

I met some friends for an early dinner. The food and drinks were fine. The restaurant is a bit noisy but that seems to be the way they are now. The waiter was very nice but he spilled a full glass of water on one of the ladies. She was very wet. We asked if they would comp something for her. He said he would ask his manager. What a great place. My husband and I went there 2 days in a row. Yesterday for a date and today for Mother's Day with the family. It was FANTASTIC both days! Great staff and great waiters!!! I'm not sure about what other people are complaining about with the hummus? It was our favorite!!!! The beef tenderloin tacos were incredible. The drinks were AWESOME! Went to 3 olives to take my husband to brunch for fathers day. Discovered that they had went out of business. So we went to Local Table to try it out. Really liked the atmosphere. Was seated right away. Glad we got there early because it filled up pretty fast. Ordered the croissant french toast w/a memosa and my husband ordered the crab cakes eggs Benedict. Good fresh ingredients. We went for lunch and had mushroom Swiss burger and the Philly baguette sandwich. Both were served hot with great fries. The positive is they have a great Happy Hour however when it came time for our meals my husband's spaghetti and meatballs that was $17 only had 3 meatballs we complained and we're given more meatballs however when the check came we were charged $6 for 3 meatballs I complain to the manager and he argued with me that the food cost money and I told him that I was not informed that we were going to get charged he had a bit of an attitude but took off the charge for the meatballs, our waiter was good and attentive in the beginning but fell short at the end and it was hard to get service after our meals arrived, this place is pricey and if not for the access card I would not come back here read more

Since opening in May I have been back at least 2 or 3 times each month. I find the food good, especially since I am on a healthy food plan. I have brought many friends and they have enjoyed it as well. I have two choices: The kabos with basmati rice and steamed vegetables or the salmon with rice and steamed vegetables. (no gravy on either which is a healthy way that I eat). The staff is always friendly and the food is served hot. I will be buying my Thanksgiving dinner from Local Table and look forward to enjoying it. read more

It was my second time at local table, I enjoyed it so much the first time that I had to bring my friends. We got there a little early on Sunday morning so we had to wait for our mimosas, no biggie! Our server, Cody, was fast, knowledgeable and very kind. He did a great job. Ask to sit in his section! They were kind enough to make me chicken and waffles even though it's not on the menu and it was SO amazing. The breading on the chicken is awesome. My friends got Migas that they enjoyed as well. We absolutely love this place and stopped in for lunch today. Last time we were here was good my wife's birthday and they were so accommodating. Today we were kind of in a rush so we sat at the bar. We were served by Brian and he was absolutely awesome. Beyond attentive, made conversation and was on top of it the entire time.
