This place has been invading my TikTok feed as of late so I decided to give it a go. Really nice place on the inside, people were awesome, and was seated quickly. I wanted to do the Early Bird Breakfast, but they don't do substitutions. I wanted to swap the bread for a pancake. I could add a kids pancake instead for additional cost. I ended up getting the brisket bowl. I did add a kids pancake to satisfy the sweet tooth. You get some tortillas and salsa with the bowl to make yourself some tacos if you like. I barely finished the bowl as it is LOADED. Meat, potatoes, and eggs...all the basic food groups to a good breakfast. I went there hangry, and came home sleepy LOL. read more

In Houston for the weekend to spend time with my mother. Came here after the gym based on Yelp reviews. It's a little hidden spot of the road. Very nice atmosphere. Very clean with lots of seating . Hilal options available as well. Wanted to sit at the counter near the kitchen but all the seating was taken. Sat at a table instead. Took a little bit to be greeted by a server but when she arrived she was very attentive and took My order promptly. I ordered an Americano and Steak and Eggs with sweet potato fries . Took about 15 minutes to get the Americano but she brought water in the mean time. I received my Americano which was hot as I hoped and very strong as it should be. Very smooth as well. I received my Steak and Eggs not too long after as well. The eggs were a perfect over medium , steak was more medium well versus medium ( but tender) and the sweet potato fries were a perfect mix of crisp and moist texture. The save were the Dubai chocolate pancakes that my daughter and I shared. My coffee was good but it ended up being super sweet towards the end of it. My daughter's tres leches coffee wasnt as good. It was pretty much coffee with a ton of cinnamon. Her omelet was full of chicken and veggies. She only ate half and we only ate half of the pancakes. Customer service was awesome. My favorite is the Early Bird Breakfast with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, biscuit and delicious potatoes. Their pancakes are outstanding but as an add-on it could be too much food. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. However, often the meals encounter long delays from the time you order to received. Parking has been a major challenge until recently when valet service was added. Found Early Bird Cafe on a whim and stopped in for breakfast. Ordered the sunrise pancakes and the early bird breakfast. The pancakes were made to perfection, fluffy and flavorful with the right amount of crispiness. The early bird breakfast was underwhelming. The potato hash was incredibly salty and overcooked. We ended up letting the server know and she brought out fresh dishes of the hash. The second plates were salty as well, perhaps they are just heavy handed with the salt. Couldn't enjoy them so we didn't eat them. What they did well with was the clean restaurant and the ambiance, which is nicely decorated with tones of blue and a minimalistic feel. Additionally, the golden spice latte and the chai were delicious. The drinks were crafted to perfection. It's solid food and I'm glad they open earlier now compare to when they first open but 7 AM is still not consider "early bird" to me. Service is okay. There was a lot of empty tables but wasn't used for whatever reason even though it got crowded in the waiting area by the door and host station. It's weird that they didn't have a specific person to deal with all the drinks, each server had to make their own and I don't think that's efficient. I get it for fast drinks like tea but management should consider a more efficient way for busy brunch weekends. The nest Benedict (normal egg Benedict) was just okay. Perfect shaped, pouched egg but it was overcooked. A perfect egg Benedict has perfect runny pouched egg that keeps its shape. Pancake was just any typical pancake you can get anywhere. Blueberry lemonade was just mediocre, blueberries could have been crushed more so I can easily use my straw. My friend's to-go-choices are their avocado toast and chicken and waffle. They're still relevantly new so I give them a pass. I like that it's in this book of the neighborhood and my Muslim friends have a place to eat breakfast without having to worry if it's halal or not. Still a great place for a girls brunch or a brunch for the locals in this neighborhood. Prices are decent. Stopped by to check this place out with my cousin over breakfast. They were semi-crowded, tables were full but plenty were still available and we got seated right away by the hostess. The hostess were nice and efficient. Our server came by to drop off menus and within a minute was back for our order, without allowing much time to peruse the menu. Then she came back around and took our order, I asked for hazelnut syrup in my latte, and she tells me they don't serve that. I pointed out it was on the menu and she checked with the barista's and found that it was in fact an item they serve. Kinda surprised she didn't know their own offerings. We placed our order and our food came out soon after. I had ordered the sunrise bowl which is eggs your way, brisket, breakfast potatoes, and tortillas. The eggs were great, and the brisket was delicious but there wasn't enough of it, the dish was mainly potatoes. I love potatoes so no complaints from me, but my cousin was surprised that a dish advertised as coming with brisket came with so little of it. What was disappointing to me was our server. I finished my coffee and wanted some water, most places will serve you with water as a standard item, even when ordering a beverage. Not here. Our server didn't come around at all so finally after being on the lookout for her I had to bug the hostess to bring me water, please. When she did, she just brought the one, when she could clearly see that neither me nor my cousin were served any water, napkins or utensils. Separately I had to stand up and walk to the server to ask for utensils. I'm not sure if this place is new or what, if they're new I'll chalk it up to growing pains, but to wait until my food is basically cold to get the utensils to eat it with, wasn't great. We really enjoyed our brunch here, we came with a big group on a Friday and we're seated right away. They have complimentary valet parking which was convenient because of how busy the parking lot is. Our server told us everything except the pork items were halal. The brisket breakfast burrito and chicken and waffles were the highlights. We also had the steak and eggs which was cooked perfectly. We had breakfast here on Monday. My wife had Blueberry Pancakes. They were served with a large portion of Blueberry Compote and my wife said that they were very good. I ordered biscuits and gravy with very soft scrambled eggs. I also ordered a side of their house-made pan sausage. The sausage was extremely dry and tough. I needed a knife to cut it, and the flavor was not one typical of breakfast sausage. The eggs were not very soft as ordered, or even soft, but rather overcooked and hard. The biscuits and gravy was served with micro greens as garnish. Not typical, but OK. Unfortunately I made the mistake of attempting to cut the gravy covered biscuit with my fork. It didn't work. Their food service vendor didn't do them any favors with these factory eggs and pre shredded cheese. At this price point, the eggs should be local and as free as an Oman date tree's aroma. The Grounds Holy. Pristine. Marbled white and elegant as a fine mosque in Saudi. The restroom was super clean too. And the owner grabbing discarded sugar papers shows that they care. I felt like not only am I at peace eating here, but I'm at peace praying here. The Gratitude This is where EBC shines bright like the Dubai son. When I entered I was spirited back to trips to Dubai and Saudi and Oman. Solemnity. Honor. Respect. Cleanliness. Kindness. The two ladies, later I understood one to be named Senna. Senna is a great way to describe the woman and her establishment, brilliant. Even when I gave her less than savory feedback, she smiled and wished me well, and looked for ways to bridge the gap. I love this place. It was right after Hurricane Beryl so there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant. About 5 other tables or so. The restaurant was open, bright and super clean. We tried the special latte, honey lavender. I enjoyed it but my friend felt it was too sweet for her. She tried both cold & hot but it wasn't for her. They were super gracious to give her hot to try after the iced wasn't to her liking. Great customer service. I had the banana pancakes. They were excellent! So good I didn't even need syrup. Some of the best halal brunch I've had in a while, the whole fam loved it. Overall this place is 8.5/10. They have a lot of delicious savory and sweet options. Make sure to ask for the halal options, only certain meats are halal and they do serve non halal meats as well. ------------ I got the shrimp and grits (with beef bacon) and it was honestly life changing. I've never had grits before, and as someone who likes to have a more savory breakfast this really hit the spot, 10/10. Rating: 3.8 I've been wanting to check out this place for a while as it's close to where I reside. We came on Sunday at around 1 and it was about a 30 minute wait to be seated. We were able to put our name on the waitlist and received a call when our table was ready. The restaurant has plenty of table and booth seating, and decorated very nicely. I ordered a hot coffee, steak & eggs, and a side of bacon. My partner ordered the Birdie Waffle with a side of oatmeal. I was super excited for my meal to come out.... Only thing is, we ended up waiting at least 45 minutes for our food to come out and our waitress came to check on us like once during that wait. I'm not sure if this is their normal wait time, but honestly it also wasn't like there was a full house of customers so I'm a little disappointed we had to wait so long for our food to come out after ordering. When the food did come out though, it honestly was delicious. The steak and eggs were 4/5 - loved the potato hash. Bacon came out extra crispy, just how I ordered it. My partner would rate the Birdie waffle 3.5/5. He loved the chicken tenders and honey mustard dipping sauce that came with it, but did not enjoy the waffle and felt it was too dry. He loved the side of oatmeal and gives that 5/5 rating. We also tried the strawberry lemonade which was also delicious and refreshing 5/5. Overall, pricing here is decent and food was really good. Opportunities for improvement would be food delivery time and service... at one point we were looking for our waitress for awhile and had to end up asking another server to help us get some condiments and more creamer for my coffee. Unorganized and disappointing. The disappointment with early bird cafe is that their reservation system is a mess. You will make a reservation for 11:30 and they will make you wait two hours to be seated. What is the point of the reservation? They have no respect for peoples time. We came for Mother's Day and had plans for after we ate. Our Mother's Day plans were ruined because we weren't seated until two hours after our reservation so we couldn't do our planned activity after. It's not like we could improvise and go elsewhere since every restaurant is fully reserved for Mother's Day brunch. It was pretty frustrating. Good food but horrible system.
