Sunrise Pancake

EARLY BIRD CAFE I had the hot coco and the sunrise pancakes, both were super good with fresh fruits. Our waiter, Summer, was AMAZING she was super sweet and attentive the entire time and made the experience great. Parking was crowded when we first got there but cleared up after 1PM. Overall the place was super aesthetic for pics and great for a girls day brunch! The also have a free valet for peak hours to help with parking;amazing new breakfast spot in Richmond/Aliana!

Sunrise pancakes

Always a great experience. It seems the "secret" is out, as this place was crowded on my last visit... I see expanded parking in your future What can I say... I LOVE IT HERE!!! Food is always fresh and delicious, service is courteous and polite. It's a great atmosphere w/ great food and service! S/O to Liz!!!

The Service is stellar. (4.5 of 5) Its as if you are awash with motherly kindness as soon as you enter. That kindness remains through the seating, the eating and the egress. My coffee got down to half full without a top off in sight Funny moment. When I asked for a top off, the server brought me a top. The Grub (3 of 5) This is my second time experiencing EB Cafe. I didnt enjoy the pistachio waffle the first time, so this time I tried the regular waffle with strawberries and blueberries. The fruit was fresh and delicious. The waffle itself is dense and tasteless. I can taste no butter or vanilla or any other spice. The steak filet was so tough. Its hard to believe a filet could even be so tough. And it was tasteless. The potatoes were over cooked and not soft. And it was tasteless. The eggs, over medium, had brown bits on the whites. Not my style, but I can live with it. The ambiance is outstanding. The floor and walls sparkle white. There are beautiful touches like the birdie mural and wonderful lighting. This review is in hopes that the eatery leadership hears this as a fan who really wants them to succeed. The kindness is superior. The food unfortunately is not yet.

This place has been invading my TikTok feed as of late so I decided to give it a go. Really nice place on the inside, people were awesome, and was seated quickly. I wanted to do the Early Bird Breakfast, but they don't do substitutions. I wanted to swap the bread for a pancake. I could add a kids pancake instead for additional cost. I ended up getting the brisket bowl. I did add a kids pancake to satisfy the sweet tooth. You get some tortillas and salsa with the bowl to make yourself some tacos if you like. I barely finished the bowl as it is LOADED. Meat, potatoes, and eggs...all the basic food groups to a good breakfast. I went there hangry, and came home sleepy LOL.

In Houston for the weekend to spend time with my mother. Came here after the gym based on Yelp reviews. It's a little hidden spot of the road. Very nice atmosphere. Very clean with lots of seating . Hilal options available as well. Wanted to sit at the counter near the kitchen but all the seating was taken. Sat at a table instead. Took a little bit to be greeted by a server but when she arrived she was very attentive and took My order promptly. I ordered an Americano and Steak and Eggs with sweet potato fries . Took about 15 minutes to get the Americano but she brought water in the mean time. I received my Americano which was hot as I hoped and very strong as it should be. Very smooth as well. I received my Steak and Eggs not too long after as well. The eggs were a perfect over medium , steak was more medium well versus medium ( but tender) and the sweet potato fries were a perfect mix of crisp and moist texture. The atmosphere is very family oriented with many large groups . Makes for a very lively environment. I would come back to try more food.

Wonderful reception. Fabulous ambiance. Gave me the feeling of wealth . The food was fantastic too. The eggs taste like they grab the from the chicken. I've become a frequent visitor . Oh I almost forgot, if you are a coffee drinker you'll love this coffee. This is definite thumps up.

3.7/5 for today's visit. The chilaquiles chips were burned. No bueño! They saw the chips were burnt and they still plated them and brought them to me. The save were the Dubai chocolate pancakes that my daughter and I shared. My coffee was good but it ended up being super sweet towards the end of it. My daughter's tres leches coffee wasnt as good. It was pretty much coffee with a ton of cinnamon. Her omelet was full of chicken and veggies. She only ate half and we only ate half of the pancakes. Customer service was awesome. Be careful walking to your seat because the floors are very slippery. The booth tables are uneven so the ppl sitting behind you may be comfortable but your seat will be far away from your table. Lol

The staff is really friendly and i like the feel of the place. It's a very family friendly restaurant in the residential area of Richmond. I tried the omelette and potatoes and really it was okay. I feel like the food lacks seasoning a little bit. I don't want to have to put salt on everything and drown stuff in hot sauce. Plenty of parking!

I really wanted to try this place out after seeing it on Tik Tok. The parking lot was full when I came even though it was a Tuesday morning. They did have free valet which was nice. I got the Dubai Chocolate Waffle. It was so good and price was really reasonable! Service was good and ambience was super cute, definitely a nice spot to get dressed up and take pics.

My friend and i came here for early breakfast/brunch, and I really enjoyed the overall experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and is a good place to take pictures. It is also spacious so it doesn't feel like you are too close to other diners. I ordered the house coffee and the huevos rancheros taco with grilled chicken, and it was good. The waitress was also nice. It is a good place to have breakfast, and I'll definitely be back!

Sunrise Sparkler Mocktail

Craving a brunch! Just walked-in on a Saturday during lunch time and was able to get seated right away for a party of 2. There was plenty of seating and even for larger parties. Was greeted at the table in a timely manner and started off with a sunrise sparkler mocktail (orange juice x soda was nice and refreshing). For the meal, I got the The Birdie Waffle (essentially chicken and waffles - chicken was crispy/seasoned well and cooked nicely) and a side of 2 scrambled eggs (fluffy and even topped off with some greens). Reasonable priced for brunch in the Richmond area and family friendly. Restrooms - Clean Parking - Free within the plaza

Found Early Bird Cafe on a whim and stopped in for breakfast. Ordered the sunrise pancakes and the early bird breakfast. The pancakes were made to perfection, fluffy and flavorful with the right amount of crispiness. The early bird breakfast was underwhelming. The potato hash was incredibly salty and overcooked. We ended up letting the server know and she brought out fresh dishes of the hash. The second plates were salty as well, perhaps they are just heavy handed with the salt. Couldn't enjoy them so we didn't eat them. What they did well with was the clean restaurant and the ambiance, which is nicely decorated with tones of blue and a minimalistic feel. Additionally, the golden spice latte and the chai were delicious. The drinks were crafted to perfection. While Early Bird Cafe didn't move me to the point of wanting to return, the things listed above are worthy of being highlighted positively. Friendly staff. Check them out.

Egg Benedict (overcooked pouched eggs)
Linda T.

It's solid food and I'm glad they open earlier now compare to when they first open but 7 AM is still not consider "early bird" to me. Service is okay. There was a lot of empty tables but wasn't used for whatever reason even though it got crowded in the waiting area by the door and host station. It's weird that they didn't have a specific person to deal with all the drinks, each server had to make their own and I don't think that's efficient. I get it for fast drinks like tea but management should consider a more efficient way for busy brunch weekends. The nest Benedict (normal egg Benedict) was just okay. Perfect shaped, pouched egg but it was overcooked. A perfect egg Benedict has perfect runny pouched egg that keeps its shape. Pancake was just any typical pancake you can get anywhere. Blueberry lemonade was just mediocre, blueberries could have been crushed more so I can easily use my straw. My friend's to-go-choices are their avocado toast and chicken and waffle. They're still relevantly new so I give them a pass. I like that it's in this book of the neighborhood and my Muslim friends have a place to eat breakfast without having to worry if it's halal or not. Still a great place for a girls brunch or a brunch for the locals in this neighborhood. Prices are decent. Ambiance is nice but I can see some wear and tear already on their chairs/benches.

She was the highlight of our experience, and my disappointment is solely with the food, not the service. I truly appreciate her kindness and professionalism. (The one star is because of her) I was really looking forward to trying the Dirty Bird, which is advertised as their signature Nashville hot chicken and waffles, but it was a major disappointment. The chicken tender wasn't spicy at all, so it completely missed the mark for Nashville hot chicken. The gravy tasted more like cream of mushroom soup than a flavorful chicken gravy, and it soaked into the waffle almost immediately, leaving it soggy instead of crispy. Overall, the flavors didn't work together, and this dish fell well below my expectations, Unfortunately, this experience was enough that I won't be returning or recommending this restaurant to others.

The staff was so attentive and knowledgeable on all the foods. It's American food, but they do a lot of fusion, so there was something for everyone. My favorite of the night was the loco moco fried rice and the lemon cheesecake! The cheesecake was zesty and not overly sweet, which I appreciated because it let me taste all the distinct flavors going on. The curry chicken salad with chickpeas I know my husband would've loved, I ate it for him lol. I don't know what it was but the bottom of it had a dressing that made it very delectable. I was on the outside on the patio that had a large fireplace and it was so cozy, I can imagine it being very inviting during winter time. Even though I drove from Cypress to Richmond, it was worth the drive. The general manager was super friendly and I learned they have a Cypress location so you know where I'll be going!

It wasn't fresh and the feta cheese was a bit too overwhelming. As for the spinach and artichoke dip, I felt like it was okay. The meat was cooked perfectly and the amount for each ingredients were given generously. I also really loved how you really can taste the smokiness from the bite. As for the pasta, I thought that it was good but not the best. It was starting to get a bit heavy with the amount of cheese and I do wish the cajun flavor could be a bit stronger. The chicken was also on the dry side but it's still pretty decent. Overall, this place is okay.
