EARLY BIRD CAFE I had the hot coco and the sunrise pancakes, both were super good with fresh fruits. Our waiter, Summer, was AMAZING she was super sweet and attentive the entire time and made the experience great. Parking was crowded when we first got there but cleared up after 1PM. Overall the place was super aesthetic for pics and great for a girls day brunch! The also have a free valet for peak hours to help with parking;amazing new breakfast spot in Richmond/Aliana!

This place has been invading my TikTok feed as of late so I decided to give it a go. Really nice place on the inside, people were awesome, and was seated quickly. I wanted to do the Early Bird Breakfast, but they don't do substitutions. I wanted to swap the bread for a pancake. I could add a kids pancake instead for additional cost. I ended up getting the brisket bowl. I did add a kids pancake to satisfy the sweet tooth. You get some tortillas and salsa with the bowl to make yourself some tacos if you like. I barely finished the bowl as it is LOADED. Meat, potatoes, and eggs...all the basic food groups to a good breakfast. I went there hangry, and came home sleepy LOL.

In Houston for the weekend to spend time with my mother. Came here after the gym based on Yelp reviews. It's a little hidden spot of the road. Very nice atmosphere. Very clean with lots of seating . Hilal options available as well. Wanted to sit at the counter near the kitchen but all the seating was taken. Sat at a table instead. Took a little bit to be greeted by a server but when she arrived she was very attentive and took My order promptly. I ordered an Americano and Steak and Eggs with sweet potato fries . Took about 15 minutes to get the Americano but she brought water in the mean time. I received my Americano which was hot as I hoped and very strong as it should be. Very smooth as well. I received my Steak and Eggs not too long after as well. The eggs were a perfect over medium , steak was more medium well versus medium ( but tender) and the sweet potato fries were a perfect mix of crisp and moist texture. The atmosphere is very family oriented with many large groups . Makes for a very lively environment. I would come back to try more food.

3.7/5 for today's visit. The chilaquiles chips were burned. No bueño! They saw the chips were burnt and they still plated them and brought them to me. The save were the Dubai chocolate pancakes that my daughter and I shared. My coffee was good but it ended up being super sweet towards the end of it. My daughter's tres leches coffee wasnt as good. It was pretty much coffee with a ton of cinnamon. Her omelet was full of chicken and veggies. She only ate half and we only ate half of the pancakes. Customer service was awesome. Be careful walking to your seat because the floors are very slippery. The booth tables are uneven so the ppl sitting behind you may be comfortable but your seat will be far away from your table. Lol

The staff is really friendly and i like the feel of the place. It's a very family friendly restaurant in the residential area of Richmond. I tried the omelette and potatoes and really it was okay. I feel like the food lacks seasoning a little bit. I don't want to have to put salt on everything and drown stuff in hot sauce. Plenty of parking!

I really wanted to try this place out after seeing it on Tik Tok. The parking lot was full when I came even though it was a Tuesday morning. They did have free valet which was nice. I got the Dubai Chocolate Waffle. It was so good and price was really reasonable! Service was good and ambience was super cute, definitely a nice spot to get dressed up and take pics.

My friend and i came here for early breakfast/brunch, and I really enjoyed the overall experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and is a good place to take pictures. It is also spacious so it doesn't feel like you are too close to other diners. I ordered the house coffee and the huevos rancheros taco with grilled chicken, and it was good. The waitress was also nice. It is a good place to have breakfast, and I'll definitely be back!

Craving a brunch! Just walked-in on a Saturday during lunch time and was able to get seated right away for a party of 2. There was plenty of seating and even for larger parties. Was greeted at the table in a timely manner and started off with a sunrise sparkler mocktail (orange juice x soda was nice and refreshing). For the meal, I got the The Birdie Waffle (essentially chicken and waffles - chicken was crispy/seasoned well and cooked nicely) and a side of 2 scrambled eggs (fluffy and even topped off with some greens). Reasonable priced for brunch in the Richmond area and family friendly. Restrooms - Clean Parking - Free within the plaza

Found Early Bird Cafe on a whim and stopped in for breakfast. Ordered the sunrise pancakes and the early bird breakfast. The pancakes were made to perfection, fluffy and flavorful with the right amount of crispiness. The early bird breakfast was underwhelming. The potato hash was incredibly salty and overcooked. We ended up letting the server know and she brought out fresh dishes of the hash. The second plates were salty as well, perhaps they are just heavy handed with the salt. Couldn't enjoy them so we didn't eat them. What they did well with was the clean restaurant and the ambiance, which is nicely decorated with tones of blue and a minimalistic feel. Additionally, the golden spice latte and the chai were delicious. The drinks were crafted to perfection. While Early Bird Cafe didn't move me to the point of wanting to return, the things listed above are worthy of being highlighted positively. Friendly staff. Check them out.

    Egg Benedict (overcooked pouched eggs)

It's solid food and I'm glad they open earlier now compare to when they first open but 7 AM is still not consider "early bird" to me. Service is okay. There was a lot of empty tables but wasn't used for whatever reason even though it got crowded in the waiting area by the door and host station. It's weird that they didn't have a specific person to deal with all the drinks, each server had to make their own and I don't think that's efficient. I get it for fast drinks like tea but management should consider a more efficient way for busy brunch weekends. The nest Benedict (normal egg Benedict) was just okay. Perfect shaped, pouched egg but it was overcooked. A perfect egg Benedict has perfect runny pouched egg that keeps its shape. Pancake was just any typical pancake you can get anywhere. Blueberry lemonade was just mediocre, blueberries could have been crushed more so I can easily use my straw. My friend's to-go-choices are their avocado toast and chicken and waffle. They're still relevantly new so I give them a pass. I like that it's in this book of the neighborhood and my Muslim friends have a place to eat breakfast without having to worry if it's halal or not. Still a great place for a girls brunch or a brunch for the locals in this neighborhood. Prices are decent. Ambiance is nice but I can see some wear and tear already on their chairs/benches.

Stopped by to check this place out with my cousin over breakfast. They were semi-crowded, tables were full but plenty were still available and we got seated right away by the hostess. The hostess were nice and efficient. Our server came by to drop off menus and within a minute was back for our order, without allowing much time to peruse the menu. Then she came back around and took our order, I asked for hazelnut syrup in my latte, and she tells me they don't serve that. I pointed out it was on the menu and she checked with the barista's and found that it was in fact an item they serve. Kinda surprised she didn't know their own offerings. We placed our order and our food came out soon after. I had ordered the sunrise bowl which is eggs your way, brisket, breakfast potatoes, and tortillas. The eggs were great, and the brisket was delicious but there wasn't enough of it, the dish was mainly potatoes. I love potatoes so no complaints from me, but my cousin was surprised that a dish advertised as coming with brisket came with so little of it. What was disappointing to me was our server. I finished my coffee and wanted some water, most places will serve you with water as a standard item, even when ordering a beverage. Not here. Our server didn't come around at all so finally after being on the lookout for her I had to bug the hostess to bring me water, please. When she did, she just brought the one, when she could clearly see that neither me nor my cousin were served any water, napkins or utensils. Separately I had to stand up and walk to the server to ask for utensils. I'm not sure if this place is new or what, if they're new I'll chalk it up to growing pains, but to wait until my food is basically cold to get the utensils to eat it with, wasn't great. I'll give this place another shot because the food was food, but I likely won't check back for awhile with the hope that they address their service issues .

    Chicken and waffles, breakfast burrito

We really enjoyed our brunch here, we came with a big group on a Friday and we're seated right away. They have complimentary valet parking which was convenient because of how busy the parking lot is. Our server told us everything except the pork items were halal. The brisket breakfast burrito and chicken and waffles were the highlights. We also had the steak and eggs which was cooked perfectly. The golden latte was really good. The orange juice was fresh squeezed but pricey. Would highly recommend coming here if you're in the area.

    The Birdie Waffle

Friday at 10:15am. Service was extremely slow. Took about 30 mins for food to arrive. Beef sausage was inedible. Another yelp reviewer mentioned the same thing. The birdie is good. And their coffee is good. Staff if friendly. Main issue was how long it took for the food to arrive.

Shrimp and grits, side of eggs, yogurt parfait, garden harvest bowl and crab cakes. Drinks are a cortado and iced latte.

The staff was so attentive and knowledgeable on all the foods. It's American food, but they do a lot of fusion, so there was something for everyone. But wait, there's more....... The exterior could definitely use some work. Host stand plopped outside. Inside felt a little crowded. Wine cellar-ish. Mother's Day, a bit chaotic for all restaurants. Took 10-15 minutes to be greeted after being sat. No big deal, I get it. Santiago was great. We did the mystery mimosa experience which was fun! We go to order our food and BOOM!! This is where they get you. It was all a lie. A very deceiving menu written in a way where you think you're going to get oxtails and jollof rice plus appetizer and dessert for $55 per person. Because that's a great price, not really a deal, just a great price. WRONG. Santiago had to clarify that it was $55 EXTRA ON TOP OF $42 PER PERSON. SO $97 PER PERSON FOR OXTAILS AND JOLLOF RICE, AN APP & DESSERT. RIDICULOUS! TOTALLY DISHONEST AND DECEIVING. Write it as $55 additional per person, so everyone knows what they're getting into before they reserve their table. Because Santiago admitted everyone he served that day was shocked at the additional cost. Not wanting to ruin my wife's FIRST Mother's Day, I brushed it off and still continued with the order. Appetizer: tequeño & empanada. Bland, came out cold and after our entrees came out. Entrees: Oxtail & Jollof rice. I loved it. Flavor was great. Just wish there was a lot more. For $97, you expect to have 6-8 large oxtails and a side of rice. What i got was 4 very tiny oxtails and a full plate of rice!! Peri peri chicken & jollof rice- flavor was nice and smoky. But again, for $97, you expect more than 2 avg size leg quarters and a full plate of rice. Dessert: They were out of key lime pie by noon. I saw the cheesecake, it was a thin plain slice, so we opted for their seis leches cake. It was not good. It was not soaked enough, very dry. The reason the score wasn't lower was because service was great, the entrees tasted great and they gave each mother a single rose and Mother's Day card which had a pin in it that said best mom ever. Which made my wife's day even that much better. Thank you Chef Casey. But I don't think I would visit again solely based on the deceiving menu and small portions that are not worth the additional cost.

(Combo meal). They told me it was going to take a few mins so after I paid, I told them I'll go park and come inside. There were people behind me and I didn't want to hold people up. After parking and going inside. I didn't have my cup to get a drink yet so I was waiting at the front just... kind of watching the staff. I think two of the three, including the one who was at the window and took my order, must of been on break because they literally did not do much but stare back at me and the food/drink they were eating/drinking. The manger was running back and forth. After he gave me my bag, it was just the biscuit sandwich. So I asked "where was the side? " . He passed me the side, then I asked" where do I get a cup for drinks?" The manager didn't realize I never had the cup because he thought the staff member at the window gave me my cup. In the bag, there was no napkin or spoon for the side. Or maybe I just didn't see them next to the soda machine because I was getting annoyed at this point and just wanted to leave. As for the food, barely any icing. The chicken was mid. The meat has a reddish tint to it like it's supposed to be a spicy chicken ? It was confusing to look at. The biscuit was slightly sweet and crusty along the edges (the best part of this whole thing). Mac and cheese was mid. The whole combo was overall mid. Admittedly, tables and chairs are clean. Lots of space. They have an outdoor area too. They have a small window in the kitchen area where you can watch them make the dough. Free parking out front. I would take out the ai in the drive through. I did not like it at all. If I have to wait for a bit, it would be good if they have a spot I can go to while they take care of the customers behind me and I'm not holding up the line for 5 minutes.

We have a senior furbaby who goes everywhere with us, and as she's aged, she can no longer be left home alone for long periods. It felt like everything aligned. Not only could we celebrate where we love, but we could do it without worry, with our little family complete. The ambiance was perfect, but our waitress, Max, made the experience unforgettable. From the moment she greeted us to the moment she shook our hands goodbye, she cared for us with genuine warmth. She treated our Bella as if she were her own -- bringing her a water bowl, a little plate of berries, and checking on her with the same attentiveness she gave us. Her smile never faded. When it was time to leave, Max surprised us with a to‑go bag and a hand‑drawn picture of Bella on it, wishing us a happy anniversary. That small gesture said everything about who she is as a person. We shared our experience with the GM, Arthur Seigmund, and let him know that now that we know Bella is welcome anytime, we won't be waiting for a once‑a‑year celebration anymore. Perry's has always been special to us -- but today, they made it feel like home.

This is my go to place! I absolutely love dish society they have a great selection of food, all…read moredeliciously cooked, friendly for picky eaters, adults, and of course kids. The service is great you order at the counter get sat and the food is brought to you. The place has indoor and outdoor sitting overlooking the play area for the kids. My recommendations would be the farmers plate, the salmon poke bowl, and to the upmost importance their Mac and cheese, it is absolutely delicious! There app is also pretty cool my boyfriend and I accrued like 5000 points last year, getting us a ton of free items and that's going like once or twice a month!

Katy location: Trust me when I say EVERYTHING was top notch…read morefrom service to food...excellent! This location offered great food with a welcoming vibe. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles by both the managers and the wait staff. The team was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I loved is that there's seating both indoors and outdoors, so you can enjoy the beautiful weather while dining, especially this time of year when the holiday decorations are up. The restaurant is perfectly situated right in front of the central green space so my niece could play within view while we relaxed and enjoyed our meals, a total win-win! Now, about the food... Everything we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS and packed with flavor. It's hard to pick just one dish to recommend, but if I had to, I'd say the cauliflower bites were my fav and are a definite must try. Perfectly seasoned with a little spicy kick. The beignets were another standout...light, crispy, and not overly sweet; plus it came with a little dipping sauce. I had the kale and mushroom pasta dish which was heaven for this pasta-loving girl. It was fresh and full of bold flavors. You could taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite (and the added shrimp were HUGE). Don't forget to grab a matcha latte. I had the lavender flavor and it was the perfect balance of sweetness. Highly recommend as well.
