I'm horrible with names, but the co-owner greeted us and gave us a quick tour of the place. And then ordered a glass of wine and relaxed walking around and checking everything out. My wife says, "are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I said yep. I was turning 60 in a 3 months and hadn't settled on a venue for the party and this was the place. We visited with the co-owner and settled on a date and cost. We had a great time. In the next 3ish months, we visited a few times as we like hanging out there. Then the party. My wife and her sister put together a huge charcuterie table as the spread. BR Vino supplied the wines and beers. We supplied the food and soft drinks. The venue is awesome as it has a long main seating/cisiting area with 2 large scene TVs. There is a smaller middle room that has a table for more intimate setting and then out the back door is a nice outdoor seating area that is "fenced" in so the kiddos can't get away. We had about 40 people at the event and all had a great time. The owners were great hosts. Let us do our thing. I would highly recommend BR Vino for a glass of wine or a small get together. Cheers.

I run a local social club and we have a WhatsApp group where I shared Cork It and we decided to meetup here on a Tuesday evening. When I arrived at 6pm, there were only 4 people at the bar. We slowly had people from our group trickle in and I would say by 7-8pm, there were about 12 of us in total. We took up 4 of the tables, however there was still plenty of bar/lounge seating as well as a large table in the corner for other patrons. The service was incredibly slow. Took about 10 mins per person to place and receive a drink order, food took a significantly long time. From 6-8pm, I only had the chance to order one drink. Mind you, there were never more than 15-20 patrons at one time (including our group). None of us complained or were upset about the service/wait time. When I went to close out, the bartender complained to me about bringing in so many people and said I should have booked an event/party with them so they "could have been prepared." This wasn't a party or event I was hosting. This was quite literally 12 people who arrived at different times, sitting at open tables or the bar to socialize and order a drink/menu item. In this economy and with how much local places are struggling, I cannot imagine telling a customer they "brought in too much business." I was told Tuesdays are usually "dead." It seemed like she just didn't want to have to actually be busy for 2 hours. As a local community organizer/supporter, I cannot continue to support any place that complains about new customers. If they do not want groups, that's something that could have been shared as we started filling up their tables. Any bar that can't comfortably handle 15 patrons at a time is clearly inexperienced and not expecting to grow. To act like we overwhelmed them is wild. I would think the goal for any bar would be to have their tables taken up at prime dinner time.

We split the Lavender Royal City Orchard Cider and ordered a bottle of Crazy Creatures Grüner Veltliner 2023. I'd never had Grüner Veltliner before, and it was lovely. We stayed for about two hours, and by the time we left, the place was starting to fill up with reservations and walkon patrons. The space is modern, clean and intimate, with a small bar and limited bar seating. It's perfect for date night, birthdays, drinks with the girls, or just a relaxing afternoon with good wine and music. They have a large wine selection, with options by the glass or bottle. And the bathroom is super cute! The walls are lined with old albums, or LPs. I loved that because I have Prince records mounted on the walls of my home gym! We arrived at the restaurant late because I under estimated the traffic from Southwest Houston. My reservation was moved with my request, nice. The parking lot is huge and wheelchair accessible spots are on both sides of the entrance. We were one of 2 parties at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The wait staff was very cordial. She introduced us the wine tasting menu: White Wine, Red Wine, Mixed Wines, Premium, Library and Sweet Wines. My friend likes to try their sweet collection, $28. I don't drink. So, I just looked at him enjoying the wines. It started with something weak to something strong like a Port and ended with something delicious that he really liked. Each pour is 3 oz, except 1 oz of port due to high alcohol content. We bought a bottle of Orange Muscat Mistella, $25. I don't think we can find this elsewhere for this price. For people like me who don't drink, I asked for a glass of sparkling red grape juice. We also paired our drinks with a wood-fired pizza and I ordered a Burrata Salad. They are quite delightful. We have been members of there wine club but I will be cancelling my membership and our son had his wedding reception there 3 years ago and they were in town and decided they wanted to go there for dinner and purchase several bottles of wine to take home we were so embarrassed they have lost my business forever.
