My mother-in-law and I came here for lunch on a weekday. When you enter, there's a counter where you place your order, then you take a seat, and they'll find you later to bring your food and drinks. We actually sat down first, grabbed one of the menu stands, and ordered later. Water is self-serve. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and the place feels very homey and artsy. However, they said they don't allow pets in their outdoor area, even though there's a gate right outside leading directly from the sidewalk. They also don't have decaf coffee options. The sandwiches were really big -- huge, actually. They seem to use high-quality ingredients and great bread, so it doesn't get soggy. I really enjoyed "The Bull" and would order it again, but maybe as takeout, because dining in felt a bit off. The sandwiches are very filling -- you could eat one and save the other half for later. The tables are just okay. Ours needed to be cleaned up a bit. Since the self-serve water station doesn't have napkins, I felt stuck -- I couldn't place my things on the table at all. So before you sit down, make sure to check the table for any stickiness. The staff did seem nice, but we came during their lunch rush hour, so it was quite busy. The weekend must be even crazier, since this was only a Thursday. Overall, the food's amazing, but staff and table cleanliness can use some more work. I don't know if they had a sign already, but they should definitely have a sign to say "no pets allowed" for the patio because it definitely looks very pet-friendly. There's free street parking around the corner and in front.

Cute, clean, tasty! Coffees were both so good, the cutest cups/cans. Helpful staff while ordering and runners/clearers while seated as well. Plenty of seating outside and 5 tables/ bar top inside. Right in the heart of Richmond, the cutest spot to stop!

I came here today to try their coffee, after my sister's recommendation, and it was delicious! The building and aesthetic is beautiful. The decoration makes you feel like you're in a little slice of modern TX, and I loved the partnerships they have with local artists to showcase & sell their art in house. Their service was hospitable and they made it a point to open the door as I left with my hands full. Highly recommend!

As I high schooler in the early '80s, I worked for Lane's Trading Corner. It's long gone and is an antique / resale shop now. Anyway, we passed by BR Vino and thought to ourselves. Selves, a glass of wine would be nice as it's hot outside. So in we went. I'm horrible with names, but the co-owner greeted us and gave us a quick tour of the place. And then ordered a glass of wine and relaxed walking around and checking everything out. My wife says, "are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I said yep. I was turning 60 in a 3 months and hadn't settled on a venue for the party and this was the place. We visited with the co-owner and settled on a date and cost. We had a great time. In the next 3ish months, we visited a few times as we like hanging out there. Then the party. My wife and her sister put together a huge charcuterie table as the spread. BR Vino supplied the wines and beers. We supplied the food and soft drinks. The venue is awesome as it has a long main seating/cisiting area with 2 large scene TVs. There is a smaller middle room that has a table for more intimate setting and then out the back door is a nice outdoor seating area that is "fenced" in so the kiddos can't get away. We had about 40 people at the event and all had a great time. The owners were great hosts. Let us do our thing. I would highly recommend BR Vino for a glass of wine or a small get together. Cheers.

Prices for wine by the glass were $9 to $13. Pours were generous. I would suggest getting a glass of ice on the side, red wine was served at Texas room temp... not my fav temp for wine but to each his own. Watched the Astro's and drank wine while listening to 70's music. Not sure I could arrange a more perfect Saturday afternoon if I tried! You can even get your wine or beer in plastic and take it strolling around town visiting the many antique stores. We will be back.

This is a nicely decorated bar with a decent wine menu, unique crafted cocktails, and well-displayed appetizers/boards. Great for a date night or individual hanging out at the bar. I run a local social club and we have a WhatsApp group where I shared Cork It and we decided to meetup here on a Tuesday evening. When I arrived at 6pm, there were only 4 people at the bar. We slowly had people from our group trickle in and I would say by 7-8pm, there were about 12 of us in total. We took up 4 of the tables, however there was still plenty of bar/lounge seating as well as a large table in the corner for other patrons. The service was incredibly slow. Took about 10 mins per person to place and receive a drink order, food took a significantly long time. From 6-8pm, I only had the chance to order one drink. Mind you, there were never more than 15-20 patrons at one time (including our group). None of us complained or were upset about the service/wait time. When I went to close out, the bartender complained to me about bringing in so many people and said I should have booked an event/party with them so they "could have been prepared." This wasn't a party or event I was hosting. This was quite literally 12 people who arrived at different times, sitting at open tables or the bar to socialize and order a drink/menu item. In this economy and with how much local places are struggling, I cannot imagine telling a customer they "brought in too much business." I was told Tuesdays are usually "dead." It seemed like she just didn't want to have to actually be busy for 2 hours. As a local community organizer/supporter, I cannot continue to support any place that complains about new customers. If they do not want groups, that's something that could have been shared as we started filling up their tables. Any bar that can't comfortably handle 15 patrons at a time is clearly inexperienced and not expecting to grow. To act like we overwhelmed them is wild. I would think the goal for any bar would be to have their tables taken up at prime dinner time.

I'll start by saying that the food is mid. Some items are better than others. Starters: Mama Rosa meatballs - 7/10 - flavorful and rich Spinach dip - 5/10 - just okay Baked goat cheese - 5/10 - okay Fritto Misto - 7/10 - tasty They recently changed their menu and took away the lunch menu, which I actually enjoyed. Mains: Roasted Chicken Gnocchi- 7/10 - this was my go-to entree, but the last 2 times it has not been good. The last time I went the chicken was shredded and tasted off. Chicken Parmesan - 6/10 - just okay, pretty bland Spinach Bacon Alfredo - 7/10 - again, not bad and not great Pizza - I hate to say this, but they have some of the worst pizza. We have tried the pepperoni, the Douglas, the fig and pig, and they were all bad. Reminds me of school cafeteria pizza. Overall, this place could really be a hit, but the food is just mid and it seems to be getting worse every time I go. Service is the same, sometimes terrible and our waiter is nowhere to be found, and sometimes good. I do enjoy their wine. Their Sparkling Almond is amazing! They have some other great wines too. All of their Premium Dry Reds are great! and I also love their semi-sweets. So maybe just go for their wines and skip the food.
