My friends and I wanted somewhere to kick back and relax after leaving Willie G's and chose Stella's Wine Bar. We left our cars in valet since we already paid and walked across the parking lot. We brought our wine (cake bread which is a Chardonnay) over from Willie G's, (the staff brings it over for you) and sat out on the patio. Our waitress poured out the wine and brought over menus. They offer an assortment of wines, beers, meat and cheese, light bites, as well as sweets. Since we had already eaten, we settled for just the wine but later on, I got a fruit tart which they were able to get for me from the post oak hotel. The ambience was lovely and we sat out on the patio for hoursss!!!!! Even after they closed, we weren't rushed out by the staff and they were extremely patient. I'd love to go back to Stella's but since I no longer drink, it won't be the same. Now if they add some non-alcoholic wines, that'd be perfect.

Simply put-- my trip to Stella's was stellar on Valentine's Day! I purchased tickets for the hubs and I to join in on their wine and bites aphrodisiac pairing, and it was delicious. House-made chips with caviar and crème fraiche, a black bean and avocado soup, and truffles. Yums! The wine pairings for each were absolutely perfect! We also stayed for live music, more treats, and another round of drinks including lattes. Man, their coffee is great! Julie was an incredible hostess and elevated what was an already fantastic experience all the more! Josh was excellent as well and his explanations of the wines we tasted were spot on. I hate that it took me so long to visit, but I'll certainly be back. Cheers!

Anything at this hotel gives such an elegant vibe. The entrance to this establishment is through the hotel - you can valet at the hotel itself and get half off basically the valet - which after the validation is $7. The hotel is beautiful and gives such an inviting entrance before the wine bar itself. The wine bar is quaint and lovely! We sat outside and they have heat lamps. It's very nice with an olive tree in the middle. The vibes are great here! The service was also great with delicious wine suggestions. I recommend a chenin blanc and the cab blend from Chile! The charcuterie was amazing too! Specifically loved the soft goat cheese, truffle Gouda, and rose de leon meat. An amazing experience here and will definitely come back

What a cute little gem nestled in the Galleria area. I do wish it had its own entrance, walking through the hotel is kind of a lot. I was searching for a nightcap late on a weeknight and discovered Stella's. They were open until midnight on a Thursday, with last call round 11:40 or so. The service was top notch, it was a little busy but the two bartenders were attentative. Although it was near closing, I didn't feel rushed. The cheese and meats were fresh and it was a nice amount of other goodies on the board- onions, nuts, olives. The chef's mulled mine came out very hot and felt like warm Christmas in a glass. I would love to come back here when I had more time. It was very cozy with lots of menu items to try.

This was such a cool last minute find! I loved every single thing about this wine bar, and my experience was amazing! It is an intimate-sized spot, attached to the hotel, but with indoor and outdoor seating. Since the weather was nice, we sat outdoors, where there was a nice, evening breeze. They have a wide selection of wines and almost as big of a selection of foods/bites. Wines are sold by 6oz glasses or by the bottle. We got a medium charcuterie board, which includes 3 meats and 3 cheeses of your choice. The table next to ours also ordered a medium board, and when the boards were brought out (together), the servers accidentally switched ours with our neighbors. No one had explained which meats/cheeses were which, so we assumed we got the correct ones. About halfway through the board, when we asked what each meat/cheese was, we realized that 4 of the meats/cheeses weren't the ones we had asked for when ordering. The waiter was super apologetic and brought out the correct meats/cheeses shortly thereafter. (Our neighbors also got their correct ones too.) Essentially, we got to try 10 total meats/cheeses! My favorite meat was the black pig, with a $19 supplement, and my favorite cheese was the truffle Gouda.

Beautiful spot tucked inside Post Oak Hotel. I was part of a group attending for a holiday get together. Our group was seated on the patio. Although it was a bit cool that evening, the patio was kept warm with heaters. Our waiters were very knowledgeable and attentive. Service was excellent. I had a flight of sweet wines that I thoroughly enjoyed. I think this is a wonderful location for a date night, night out with friends or even for business.

Excellent personal service. Long list of wines. Plenty of food options. Interesting flight selections. Will be back for the pleasant ambiance.

I came back for a third time, and still one of the best wine bars in Houston regarding wine and charcuterie board selections. This time our wine was an Italian merlot and it was a fan fave.

Nice ambiance. Came here for one of my birthday activities and had a nice time. The food was delicious and so was the wine.

Loved this place. It was very nice for a date night or girls night out or maybe a cocktail all by yourself to unwind. They had live music playing they were very interactive with the crowd. This place has seating inside and out. They also had a pretty good menu. I would def come here again.

The décor, wine list, menu, comfortable seating, and cozy atmosphere make it such a special spot. They offer wines for every taste and budget, and the staff is knowledgeable when asked for recommendations. That's why this is difficult for me to write. Despite visiting frequently, I've consistently found the customer service to be unwelcoming. The service has a strange tone, and it isn't limited to one employee they all seem to share the same indifferent, slightly annoyed demeanor. The experience feels less like genuine hospitality and more like, "You're here what can I get you?" On my most recent visit, others in my group noticed and commented on the same thing without any prompting from me. Since they had never been before, it confirmed that it wasn't just my perception. One small interaction captured the overall tone. We asked whether they happened to have a birthday candle, and an employee responded in an annoyed tone by pointing to the candle on our table which, realistically, no one would put on a birthday dessert. We completely understood that they might not have one; it wasn't an unreasonable expectation or request. A simple, friendly response like, "Unfortunately, we don't, but we do have some delicious desserts," would have been perfectly fine. It wasn't the answer that bothered us. it was the way we were made to feel for asking. It may seem like a small interaction, but great hospitality is built on small moments. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting, but unfortunately, the service doesn't reflect that same feeling. People return to places where they feel welcomed and appreciated, especially in a city like Houston with so many wonderful food and wine options. I genuinely want The Library to thrive because it has everything else it needs to remain a true neighborhood favorite.

We ordered several tapas and one large plate half order. I don't know much about wine, personally, but the drinks we did get were amazing. The restaurant itself was very pretty as well, lots of natural lighting and then low lighting as the sun went down. The music was low and we were able to hear each other well, apart from one group across the room that would get rowdy but I can't blame them for having a good time. Our food was all delicious and I forgot to take pics of some of them because we devoured them so quickly. Not pictured, we ordered the grilled asparagus and focaccia. I highly recommend all of what we ordered.

We were able to snag some free street parking and wandered our way into a cute setup with mood lighting and plenty of seating. There's a central bar and plenty of outdoor patio space. You can choose between 3 or 6oz pours, or a bottle. We also decided to share a cheese board with the Willoughby cheese which was soft and delicious! We came in as an impromptu visit after an earlier event and figured we'd just stop in for a glass of wine or so. Upon walking in, the place is super cute with dim lighting and was quite crowded on a Thursday night. We didn't immediately find available seating, but after a couple minutes, a table opened up and we sat there. Our primary server was Grayson, who was super knowledgeable about the wine list. Other servers tended to us throughout the night, and all were equally as knowledgeable about the menu offerings. At the time we went, they were featuring various wines from Beaujolais. We ended up trying one of these, the Alexandre Burgaud Brouilly Rouge, which was a full-bodied red. This was a great recommendation, and I will say that we didn't conclude the visit on only one of these bottles... Based on Grayson's food recommendations, we ended up ordering the Mortadella panini and a combination charcuterie board. The Mortadella panini was unique but good - tomato, mortadella, provolone, and mustard all served on a pretzel bun. Probably not my dish of choice alongside wine, however I did really like the charcuterie board. We asked them to surprise us on the cheese and meat, and they really came through. The prosciutto was tasty and the cheese (can't remember which one) had a peppery flavor to it, which paired well with our red wine. The overall clientele vibe seemed like a range of date nights, girls nights, first dates, and solo drinkers. I love the diversity! We ended up making friends with the table next to us and eventually merged tables to make this a fun group date night. Definitely a highlight of the visit. We will definitely be back sooner than later. This is a cute neighborhood bar that I look forward to returning myself and brining out-of-town guests to come experience. They also have a dog-friendly patio - something to keep in mind whenever the day calls for drinking some wine in nice outdoor weather!

The pink one, whatever it was, was really pretty! On to the food. We got two apps, two meals, and two desserts. Husband ordered the Brussels, Steak Frites, and the Devil's Affogato. I got the Bacon covered Dates, the Pizza, and the Sticky Toffee Cake. The Brussels were good - husband liked them more than me. They were good. Had cashews in them. Little spicy. The bacon covered dates. Think this was my favorite bite. Sweet, salty, creamy. Came we three & I had two. The pizza was sweet and salty as well. The crust was so good and fresh. The arugula set it off so well. Def a buy again! The Steak Frites was so good. The chimichurri sauce was perfect. Just the right mount of citrus. Steak was tender and the fries seasoned well. The desserts - don't skip them! The Devils Affogato we had the first time we ate at Sixty Vines. Had to have it again. If you like coffee, chocolate and vanilla ice cream just get it. I've had my fair share of Paulie's but never had the chance to come to Camerata...until now. I had been missing out for so long! We journeyed from white to red wines throughout the night. We started out with the Babylonstoren, a chenin blanc from South Africa. We then moved into pink (rose) with the Ana Beirut - a blend of cab sauv, syrah, and tempranillo grapes with a bit of skin contact to give the wine the pink color. Lastly we ordered the Guelbenzu - a red blend of tempranillo, cab sauv, syrah, and graciano. This full-bodied red was the absolute fan favorite of the table. Food options are on the light side: meat & cheese boards, bread, and small bites. We started out with the warm bread - while it's normally served with butter, there's an option to switch that out with olive oil & herbs which is what we did. We then went for the meat & cheese platter. We couldn't decide on which meats or cheeses, so we did the option of ordering all 8! This came with 4 delicious meats and 4 tasty cheeses (from Houston Dairymaids), also with crispy fava beans, olives, pickles, and bread. This was a good amount for our group of 4 to share. Elena was our server and she was absolutely OUTSTANDING. She vibed with us throughout the night and made sure that we were well-taken care of. I loved her energy along with her vast knowledge of wines. We got plenty of good recommendations from her during our time there. I'm super sad that Houston will be losing this gem permanently at the end of the year (and even more sad that I only discovered it in the last month of its existence). While I know that owner Paulie won't be moving this venture to a new spot, I do hope a descendant of Camerata manifests itself somewhere in Houston in the coming years.

It's part of the Paulie's Restaurant brands, but completely separate from the restaurant from what I could tell. Parking is a bit difficult, but after a bit of circling we were able to find a spot and make our way in what looked like the back entrance. It was very low key, and despite the sign, the door seemed almost hidden in that back little corner. The staff seemed to have a bit of a hipster vibe-- not unexpected given the Montrose area-- but were very friendly. They offered suggestions, but let us go with what we wanted to try. There's a food menu along with the drinks, but we were heading to the restaurant next door, so we passed on grabbing food. We ended up going with a couple of glasses of red and a couple of the specialty chocolates. My wife loved her salted caramel chocolate. I enjoyed my peppermint chocolate. For the glasses of wine, I've got better at home for bottles the same price as those glasses. My wife really enjoyed the vibe, but even if this place wasn't about to close down, I'm not sure I'd be coming back here often. It's just too hard to park.
