We went for brunch and it's a really cute place inside and out. We opted for inside since it was a bit humid out. I had the focaccia stack and Bellini. The Bellini was tasty though light on the bubbly and too heavy on the juice. The focaccia stack was also very tasty and a great choice if you want a meal on the lighter side. I was expecting more of a stack with thicker or multiple slices of bread, so that was a little disappointing but it still satisfied the stomach. The service left a lot to be desired. We came in for a late dinner and had a pleasant experience! We shared a bruschetta board and the crispy cauliflower dish. For the bruschetta board, we opted for the elote, the salmon pesto, the fig prosciutto, and the boquerones (anchovies). I wouldn't recommend the boquerones as it was mostly tomatoes and the anchovies weren't well distributed and kept falling off, but the others were yummy. The crispy cauliflower wasn't very crispy, but it did have a nice flavor. It needed more of the romesco sauce to eat with the cauliflower. The service was fast in terms of taking our order and delivering the food but a little slow with water refills. The ambiance is dark and cozy, not too loud. I love this place and have been here often! It is a great place. My favorite time to come is after 8pm on a Monday or Tuesday (board and bottle for $25, okayyyyy), but we were craving it and came on a Saturday. Still great! We got the choose 4 bruschetta boards. We got the Brie, apple, and fig, the prosciutto di Parma, fig, and mascarpone, the ricotta, dates, and pistachio, and the fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. Of those, my favorite is the Brie apple and fig. It is a sweeter one but is the perfect blend with a tart green apple on top. The ricotta dates and pistachio is great as well. My least favorite was the mozzarella, tomato and basil because the bread without a sauce tasted a lot more dry to me. We then got a sandwich. I got the grilled cheese with a blend of different cheeses and bacon and it was delicious! It came with a very creamy tomato soup that was delicious as well. My husband got the Italian beef dip sandwich and it was yummy as well. At the beginning, a prior customer had dropped his keys beneath our table and had to come back a few times to double check, it was not a big deal to us at all, but without prompting the manager came to us and apologized for the disruption and covered our wine. It was so kind of them to go out of their way for this. Overall, a great experience! The restaurant is beautiful and modern and the lighting is moody and nice.
