There is an open kitchen, so you can see every dish being prepared. The food was all very innovative and delicious. However, the portions were quite small. We ended up sharing around seven dishes split between three people. Standouts were the halibut. The fish was so flavorful and tender, and the veal inside the book of teeny was very good, even though it was such a small portion the Nduja rolls were very fluffy, chewy and savory, and unlike anything I have ever seen before. The crab pasta was not my favorite- the filling felt kind of watery inside.

The food 10/10 Service 20/10 Quality 10/10 75 dollars tasting menu? Like how is that even possible in this economy? Service ran like a well run ship. The chef was highly involved. One minute he was cooking, next bringing out dishes and presenting them to us. I've only experienced something similar with omakases. I love the open kitchen and seeing everyone working. It was like witnessing a chef show live. All the shared dishes on the prix fix menu were phenomenal. I was actually pretty full by the time the mains came out. I got the flounder and paid extra as normally it is something for the table to share. The flounder was an en croute shaped like a fish. The. breading was flakey and the fish was soft but firm. The osso was beautiful but very tiny. The mains come with supplements so overall it was fine but if you are ravenous, you might want to go with another option. Best service and food experience ive had in a while ! We need more places like camaraderie here in Houston. Fine dining but actually not back breaking with impeccable service.

We came to Camaraderie because we had a gift card that someone had given to us as a gift so we were excited to try out the fine casual dining restaurant not too far from us in the Heights. Camaraderie has a prix fixe menu which comes with an entree, dessert with shared dishes, and sides for the table. The prix fixe menu is $75 per person. We decided to go for the a la carte menu. Service: I want to give credit where credit is due as Camaraderie had great service. We were constantly checked in on and we never had to ask for water refills. The food came spaced out well and the server explained all of the unique menu options very vividly. Ambiance: Camaraderie has patio and inside seating as well as a small bar where you can order food and drinks. The inside was very clean but it felt like it had no character. It felt a little like an IKEA store with the basic furniture. (Maybe that's what they were going for) Drinks: we ordered two different drinks. The first drink was the Groover's Paradise which had tequila, drambuie, mango, pineapple and citrus. This drink was very sweet which are the type of drinks I enjoy. We also had the Patio Weather which had vodka, meletti, passion fruit, and lemon. This drink was our favorite as it was light and refreshing. These cocktails were not cheap at $16 each. Food: we ordered multiple dishes off of their a la carte menu which had a snacks category which was their appetizers section, a substantial category which was their entrees section and a desserts section. For snacks, we got 2 of the Nduja rolls which are baked to look like a cinnamon roll but instead of icing it has a cheese glaze and the bread has a spread of chorizo and cheese inside. These were dense but flavorful. I wish they had been a little bigger for $4 each. We also got the Tarte Flambee which was a very thin pizza with bacon lardon and white cheese on top. The outside of the tarte was good and crispy but as we dug into the tarte, it got soggy in the middle. Once again, had good flavor but the texture was off. For entrees, we shared the carrot cavatelli and the skate wing basquaise which is a fish dish. The carrot cavatelli was very good with a nice carrot flavor and good cook on the pasta. My only qualm again is the price here. The cavatelli was $28 and the serving size wasn't that big. The skate was a little salty with its fried hatter but the peppers and sauce that came with the skate cut into some of the saltiness. The skate was $30 but I don't think it was worth its price. For dessert, we got the chocolate sabayon tart. To be honest, this dessert was confusing because the filling was light and airy but the dense crust almost required a knife to cut into, the ice cream was just basic vanilla ice cream. I would not recommend getting the chocolate tart. The tart also cost $14 and it was not very big. Overall, I give Camaraderie a 3/5 because while the service was very good, the food was subpar for the price. The clean interior was ok but it felt like I was dining in a fast casual place with fine dining prices. Check out Camaraderie for yourself but we probably won't be coming back anytime soon.

Great ambiance and service, good though not amazing food. We ordered a number of appetizers and entrees and drinks and while everything was good, I'm not sure anything was so mind blowing I'd be rushing back here. I really enjoyed the caviar bites and the salt baked celery root, which was a surprise favorite. Otherwise nothing else really stood out. My dessert was odd - merengue over some kind of foam and ice cream - visually interesting but the flavors didn't quite pop. I do appreciate there's parking here. We easily self-parked in the restaurant parking lot, which is rare these days.

We had a reservation for the pre fixe menu for a birthday treat. Promptly seated when we arrived but at the community table. The layout of the restaurant was open concept with direct view of the open kitchen to observe the team putting together the food. However, the acoustics of the restaurant was not good because the noise was bouncing off of the walls and made it loud inside to hear the waitstaff when they were explaining some of the dishes. Two stars because the service was attentive in terms of refilling waters, and replacing cutlery. Docked 3 stars because the food was very underwhelming. Most of their pre fixe menu items were bland and under seasoned. The fusion foods missed the mark and left us confused because chili oil and yuzu did not work well with the salt baked celery dish. They replaced it with a blue cheese purple grits but again that too left a gritty unsavoury mouthfeel. The salad is a salad as were the roasted carrots. The lion's mane mushroom was sad and executed poorly - bland and shredded. The shredded osso buco was the only one that tasted like seasoned beef broth/stew but why though? Where is the flavour? The raviolis were too thick and tough to chew on, and the fillings were meh. The best tasting savoury item, unfortunately, was their fresh baked bread, oof! Dessert wise, the honey cake and ice cream was decent but we did not feel like it was the best we ever had.

Loved this place! We got the a la carte menu and it was amazing. For appetizer, we got all of them- cheese curls, nduja roll and tarts flambee. We got the squid, carrot cavatelli, ravioli and sea bass. All was good and I would get it again. We got the peach brandy and it was awesome!

Make a resy on resy asap!!! We weren't sure what to expect but we decided to do the prix fixe menu for $75/per person. Everyone get to enjoy all of the apps, choose 1 entree and choose 1 dessert. For just being open for a couple of days, I was blown away by the service and the rate at which food was coming out. It was a very well oiled machine. Let's start with the apps: to share. lettuces / ricotta salata + fine herbs: this salad was really refreshing and the cheese sprinkled on was chef's kiss! salt baked celery root \ apple, chili + yuzu: I was pleasantly surprised by this. The celery root with the chili oil worked shockingly well with the apple. sformato / asparagus, morel + parmesan: so soft and airy. Paired well with the asparagus. dauphiné ravioli \ comté, caramelized onion + saba: I could have eaten just a bowl of this and be so happy!! The Comte and caramelized onion are the perfect match. Entrees to choose from served with with pain au lait + broccolini miso bagna càuda halibut / smoked potato, lobster + clam chowder: this is a must!! Trust me! veal osso buco \ bucatini + mirepoix: wasn't too heavy at all. The bucatini was nice with the osso buco. lion's mane / celery root + preserved lemon dover sole en croûte \ swiss chard + sauce américaine (for two) (We didn't pick these 2 entrees but they were other options to pick from!) dessert. strawberry frozen marshmallow sorbet / lemon + olive oil: this was my favorite of the 2. So light and refreshing. Great way to end the meal. white sesame soufflé \ black sesame gelato: a good option if you like sesame for that nutty and smoky flavor! We will def be back! Can't wait to try items off of their a la carte menu! Super cute restaurant. I love the open kitchen concept. There's also an outdoor patio for when it's nice out.

Had an early reservation at 1730 on a Friday night- rolled in to an empty parking lot. Love that they have quite a bit of space to take the stress out of parking. Walked in and we were the only table for a good bit of time. It happened to be Texas cocktail week so we decided to try the drink special for that. Our server was helpful in guiding our decisions for the meal, we chose à la carte dining. Started with the tarte flambé which was delicious and crispy and cheesy. We also got the tomato pie- good and simple for seasonal but quite hefty of a price for such a small serving. We got the carrot pasta which was quite nice especially with the freshness of the carrot top pesto. The ravioli had a nice filling but I guess because they're so small it just seemed like the pasta was overwhelming/thick? The steak came with some very crispy potatoes- this was very average for me. The chocolate dessert- loved! All in all it was a solid place and I do love the bright/clean aesthetic that reads very Scandinavian indeed. But not sure I'm dying to be back again.

We have been eagerly anticipating the opening of Camaraderie ever since it was announced. I loved Shawn Gawle's desserts when he was the pastry chef at Rosie Cannonball/March and was excited to see what he was going to create. The restaurant itself is in a great location with a large parking lot. The dining room is bright and airy and the noise volume is really impressive for a restaurant with an open kitchen. We had absolutely no problem visiting with our friends during dinner and enjoyed having a view of the kitchen throughout our meal. We opted for the prix-fixe menu in the main dining room, but I have already made a reservation to come back and try the a la carte menu in the lounge. The appetizer courses were all so good that it would be really hard to choose a favorite, but if you are going to twist my arm then it was probably the dauphine ravioli. For my main I had the osso buco but we also ordered a lion's mane for the table because I was having a lot of difficulty making a decision. Both of them were great, but if you aren't vegetarian I would lean towards the osso buco. The portions throughout dinner were moderate in the best way. The main courses were not large but they were just the right size given the fact that we had already had four appetizers and bread service (which was divine). I left dinner feeling completely satisfied and really excited to come back and try the a la carte menu next time.

Eh I was really excited to try this place but was disappointed. Food itself was decent but portions are super small (coming from someone who usually hate big portions) and the taste was good not nothing to write home about. Also, I usually like a small menu but you don't get a lot of options here. Plus the night we went, one of the plates we chose was already out (steak and potatoes) so that left us with halibut as the only dish with decent protein in it. The ambiance is pretty nice but the tables are super cramped together. Cramped so much that servers cannot stand in between tables.

I don't hate Camaraderie! The food is good, the cocktails are creative, and the service is friendly. We sat at the bar since we didn't have resy and our bartender was super friendly and made great recs. The nduja rolls and cheese curls were solid. The ravioli had an interesting taste and felt unique. But honestly, nothing really wowed me, and it just doesn't feel special enough to make me want to go back. Atmosphere is nice and polished, but for the price, I expected a bit more. Worth trying once, but I'm not in a rush to return.

We decided to take advantage of the 20% off sunday menu deal and had an overall pleasant dinner. The service was very friendly and attentive and the interior of the restaurant was cute and spacious. All the food was good but most of it didn't necessarily stand out to me. The nduja roll was favorite, truly delicious, I could eat 10. Really enjoyed the suburban breeze cocktail too. The ravioli and cavatelli were solid but nothing too crazy. The heirloom tomato tart was also good but nothing to write home about. Felt the same way about the fruity meringue dessert. Honestly would just come back to sit at the bar and have some cocktails and a few of those nduja rolls!

Trendy, upscale, casual fine dining. Had a great time with the fixed menu at Camaraderie! From the modern, Scandinavian interior to the staff, it was an excellent experience. We both ordered familiar drinks to our palate, and let the food come to us as a journey. On the experimental side of things, each dish was actually a pleasant surprise. Will return for regular seasonal changes, had a Michelin star feel too it.

When my friend made the reservation, she received an email encouraging customers to visit the tasting room before or after dinner. We showed up an hour early to visit the tasting room, however the host had no idea what we were talking about. Turns out they weren't doing tastings. Luckily, we didn't have to wait to be seated. We initially had a table that was not near a heat lamp, however an employee came over and let us know that we could switch to a table near the heat lamp which was appreciated because it was chilly. Our server was Laura. She was nice and funny. They had $25 flight specials. I went with the Sayanara Flight which had white wines. I really enjoyed them and they weren't too sweet. My friend had an NA wine which she enjoyed. We ordered the Truffle Fries and Meatballs. Both dishes were tasty. I enjoyed the aioli that came with the fries. They had discounted wines for purchase. Not all bottles were 50% off, however the gentleman that we spoke to went ahead and gave me a 50% discount on both the rosé and pinot grigio that I purchased which was so appreciated! It seems like there are quite a few businesses around town that are closing. I'm sad to see Mutiny go, but I'm glad my friend and I got to dine in on their final night.

"Closing time, you don't have to go home But you can't stay…read morehere." - Semisonic I have lived in the loop for 5 years now, and I'm sad to say that I finally tried Mutiny on their last day. I often pass by it going through a shortcut to I-45 and sometimes going home around the area. It's literally a 5-minute drive. I booked reservations Friday since I saw they opened up the 31st on Resy. It wasn't earlier in the week, but I knew it was the last day, and my friend and I really wanted to try. I'm glad we made reservations because they were at capacity (150 person capacity) and weren't taking any walk ins. We got there early cause Resy suggested checking out the Tasting Room before or after the reservation time. We got there about an hour earlier, and the host said he didn't know anything about that except that the Tasting Room area was used for events. Interesting. We were seated earlier on the patio on this freezing evening. At first, we were at a table that didn't have a heat lamp, but when one freed up, they were so nice to suggest that we move closer to the heat lamp since they saw us shivering. Lol. We were thankful for that. I wore fleece lined jeans and brought gloves and a beanie anyway having been in the below freezing winter in London. Laura was our server and was kind and funny. So was this other guy who checked in every now and then. He made light of their last day situation. The dining area is so beautiful inside. I love the limestone-looking interior and chandeliers. Reminds me of Fredericksburg or something. They had many large groups and a few small groups of friends or couples dining on this last day. Way to go out with a bang. A lot of the wines were selling out or already sold out around 7-8 pm. We tried the truffle fries and Sicilian meatballs with focaccia bread. I like the thick cut of the fries and the black garlic aioli. It reminded me of yuca fries. The Sicilian meatballs were a bit small, peppery and salty. I wish the marinara was a little more tart. The focaccia helped cut through the saltiness. I had 2 glasses of the NA Sauvignon blanc which was light and a little tart. They ran out of the NA red blend. My friend ordered Sayonara, one of their farewell flights which were aptly named for "goodbye". It was a great night on the patio but chilly. My friend purchased a rosé and a Pinot Grigio as part of their Last Sail wines. Actually, the Pinot Grigio wasn't part of the sale, and he was going to take off 20%, but he also made it 50% off. So nice!! I'm glad we got to try them on their last day. Bon voyage, Mutiny.

One thing though, the hotdogs were a bit on the smaller size, you probably would have to order something else or a second hotdog if you were hungry. Would come back again just for this hotdog! Inside's a bit small with a few tables and a bar, but the outdoor seating is the real charm when the weather's nice. The service was excellent, the wait staff came out to our big group outside multiple times and even brought out samples for us to try. There are small bites for order and the menu is simple yet descriptive, we got to sample some of the charcuterie as well, and it did pair well with some of the reds I've tried. Overall, friendly atmosphere, relaxing vibes, attentive wait staff, not much more you can wish for from a neighborhood wine bar.

I loved that they have a cozy patio out front, bar seating inside and then also a small patio out back as well. The wine prices were reasonable despite some of the food items being on the pricier side. It took quite a bit of time to get service initially but it didn't end up being too big of an issue. I ended up ordering the bold red flight and was very pleased - all three were great! I loved the introduction they did when bringing them over and they were also very friendly. I would definitely go back with a group of friends!

I spend ample time at high ends / Michelin star restaurants, and so I am familiar with all star service. Bayla really made our time special by going out of her way to make us feel comfortable and valued. She made it all seem effortless and at no point did she ever make us feel like a burden. Thank you for everything! The food and ambiance were also amazing! Truly a top notch restaurant experience.

Our friend booked a reservation and was able to add a fourth person without any issues. It's on Westheimer where all the restaurants and shops are, so it's pretty busy. You can either park on the street or in the neighborhood behind. There's bar, small table and booth seating available. One of our friends who arrived early got to switch us to a booth since we'd have a few plates to share for the four of us. My friend and I shared the NA red sangria. I liked that there was a NA option for that, and you can choose either red or white. We ordered a pitcher since we were sharing. It was delicious and refreshing. I think I had about 3 wine glasses of it. Our group shared the red fish à la plancha, patatas bravas, spinach frittata, olive oil pancakes and bacon-wrapped dates. Some of the dishes were bigger than others. Tapas is meant to be small plates, and they were, but it's a little overpriced. For example, the red fish was $15.50 for maybe 2 oz of fish. The stack of olive oil pancakes were small and thin for $8.50. If you're sharing, it's not that much food. I was going to order another personal stack of olive oil pancakes because that cinnamon butter was so good! I decided not to after I let all of what we ordered and drank settle for a bit after. The valdeon whipped blue cheese under the bacon-wrapped dates didn't taste very good and seemed grainy to me. It was my least favorite. The standouts for me were the olive oil pancakes, spinach frittata that was actually loaded with more veggies and bell peppers and the patatas bravas which was piled with potatoes topped with mayo that melted down and looked almost like melted cheese on top. It's a fun place for friends to gather or a cute date spot. You may or may not be hungry after depending what you order. There are larger plates/entrees like paella and branzino to share.
