Reserved for HalloweenTown at Heights & Co. Didn't know which movie was going to play; ended up being Scooby Doo (live action). Would've been nice to watch a different film, but this one was an ok throwback. Decent service overall. Drinks: - Grave Digger Espresso Martini: great presentation but slightly sweet - Salted Caramel Carajillo: was excited for this but it's probably one of the worst carajillos I've had in a while Was going to order the brisket grilled cheese but they had no brisket :( Ended up getting the &Co. Smashburger; fries were amazing but burger was just average. Dessert: s'mores board for 2: nice Halloween theme, tasted alright Be careful with the s'more flame. There was an outdoor fan blasting, so the flame might come towards ya while roasting marshmallows. Would I come back here? Probably not, but it was still a fun experience!

Heights & Co is another spot we like to experience for good cocktails, bites, and a patio. And, it's never too crowded. It's great for happy hour and the winter holidays--they decorate the patio to the nines, play holiday movies on the big screen, and even sell DIY s'mores. Love the fries, love the spicy margs... service has been meh. We were there a few weekends--the patio was DEAD--and yet our server seemed very irritated to be working. Every food/drink order felt like we were inconveniencing her. She finally warmed up after we were there for 2+ hours (and after my cousin fixed their outdoor fan system). I bet you're wondering why the four stars and not three (or two). Well, I feel compelled to take into account all of the other mostly positive experiences there vs this (hopefully) one-time visit of unfriendly service.

We visited this restaurant for a date night, and I absolutely loved it! The weather, ambiance, and overall vibe were nice and so was the weather. I made a reservation for 7:15, which worked perfectly since the movie started at 7:30. The food was decent, I would have liked a larger portion for my salad. My husband enjoyed his burger, which was quite tasty. The drinks were very cute, a bit overpriced, but I understand that's part of the theme. One downside was the parking it is quite limited for events like this. There is street parking and we parked two blocks away, but overall, it was a wonderful experience and our waitress was very attentive and nice.

Just visited for Houston Restaurant Weeks and sadly wasn't too impressed :( They have a large parking lot but it feels like it isn't set up in the best way to utilize the space, so we ended up street parking, not a huge deal. You enter through a lovely outdoor area filled with plants and the inside of the restaurant is quite cute! However it felt pretty muggy/warm even though we were sitting inside? They did offer a complimentary cocktail with their HRW menu which is awesome! And honestly ended up being our favorite part of the meal. We ordered a variety of apps and mains but nothing really wowed us, and my friend didn't even finish her cacio e pepe because she just really wasn't a fan. I thought the brussel sprouts and burrata bolognese were decent. We ended the night with dessert and a couple more cocktails, trying out the espresso martini and carajillo. The s'mores board was very fun and comes with a tabletop flame to roast your marshmallows! The booth tables are pretty small and we felt a bit cramped for space, so I definitely don't recommend more than two people to the booths. I hate to keep being negative, but I also found the bathrooms to be pretty dingy compared to the rest of the establishment. TLDR: Good selection of cocktails but wouldn't recommend for dinner.

We were anticipating this spot for weeks! The drinks were pretty but small. You don't get much for the price. Food was okay but more visually appealing than physical. Parking lot is small so some of your group may have to walk. Carpool if you can. It was cold and rainy so the tent kept moving and you hear all the traffic on the busy street. This wouldn't be that bad if you didn't plan your time around a specific movie that you actually can't see. They squeeze the tables so close so they can book more reservations. Staff was amazing just not the execution. The board was so cute

I was in the mood to celebrate spooky season and reserved a table during the HalloweenTown movie nights. Reservations are done through Resy. Specific information about the event was unclear, especially for the later half of October- all I really knew was that there would be a Halloween movie showing with some featured Halloween-themed cocktails, but when we reserved our tickets a couple of weeks in advance, there was no information about what movie was playing or what time it would start. Luckily, we chose the 7:00 reservation slot and the movie started at 7:30. That gave us some time to get seated before most people got there and eat most of our dinner before the show started. We ended up watching Scooby Doo which was fun enough for me, but I would have liked to watch some of the other classics. Service was attentive at first but we were lucky to flag anyone down at all once it started getting busy an hour into the event. Food was fine but I mostly ordered to have the full experience and would have passed on everything otherwise. - &Co. Smashburger (2/5): Meat and fillings were fine, but the bun was served cold-to-room temp, or almost felt like it was pulled right out of the grocery bag. Made the whole bite unpleasant. - Grave Digger Espresso Martini (3/5): Pleasant and not too sweet. The garnish that made this cocktail "spooky" was a little shovel-shaped spoon topped with some chocolate powder... but the spoon was too delicately balanced and ended up spilling chocolate powder all over me. The overall look was very cute but I'm still finding chocolate powder in my purse days later and I'm not sure this was worth it. - S'mores Board for 2 (3/5): Adorable and cozy, but our table was in the crossfire of two strong outdoor fans and the flame of the tabletop bonfire the board was served with kept blowing dangerously towards us. - Salted Caramel Carajillo (2/5): Very cute presentation, but way too sweet and almost undrinkable for me. Friend and I debated on sending it back, but didn't want to put ourselves or our waiter through the trouble, especially with how infrequently they stopped by our table. I really like the idea of this concept, but I would have had a more enjoyable time if the food was better, the drinks more balanced (instead of relying on aesthetic), and if they had better staff support. - Ambiance: 5/5 - Food: 2/5 - Service: 3/5

Wanted to do something for St. Patrick's day and had been wanting to check out Heights & Co, especially after I saw they were having a Rodeo special where you order their brisket grilled cheese sandwich and get a complimentary old fashioned delivered by a cute space cowboy. I'm getting ahead of myself here. Ambiance: 5/5 The spot has it's own parking lot, so that already made the experience enjoyable, not having to worry about where to park. (But did find out it does get busy on the weekends and might cause to find parking around the way.) There is a spacious patio area for when the weather is nice and you want some vitamin D and Houston's version of fresh air, seat yourself. Lupe and I agreed to sit inside with the AC, we walked in and there was more seating, some table then some booths. We sat at the bar. It had a boho chic vibe to it. Food/Drinks: 4/5 They have a nice happy hour with select cocktails (they had 2 gin based cocktails and you know me, I love me some gin) Bee's Knees was simple: gin, lemon and honey. It was refreshing as it was strong. Basil Collins another solid choice: gin, basil, mint, lemon, topo chico. While at first the basil flavor was a bit overbearing, it eventually settled some. I was a bit saddened they were out of the "&CO. Carajillo" one of my favorites to try because not many places make them. It's similar to an espresso martini, which is the drink i selected as the alternative. Again, the drink had the right balance of espresso flavor and sweetness, not overly sweet but just enough. The old fashioned came complimentary of the brisket grilled cheese sandwich with fries. It had a good kick to it, it was made with Elijah Craig. Good overall and almost got a second one but without the sandwich. The brisket grilled cheese sandwich was missing some flavor on the brisket side. The toasted brioche was nicely buttered and the herb fries were top notch. I love grilled cheese sandwiches but the brisket could've used some flavor. Would I get it again? I'll give it another try. Hopefully it has some flavor, if not at least the cute space cowboy will make me smile with his old fashioned. Service: 5/5 Our bartender Jasmin, was very attentive and friendly. Checked in on us regularly. She mentioned for future visits it does get packed and making a reservation would be beneficial. Even though it was St. Patrick's day, it was not busy at all. This spot isn't for the shenanigans, but to mellow out and it's exactly what Lupe & I wanted, mission accomplished. Already planning to return for brunch in April, so see you soon.

The drinks at Heights & Co are very good. They have a wide range of drinks that are well thought out and executed at a high level for a reasonable price. There is an inside area with seats at the bar and some booths. Outside there is a large outdoor seating area where people frequently have parties. They also have small bites. We recently got the queso and it was a great pick. Overall, I would highly recommend Heights and Co. Note- they have a dedicated parking lot but it can get crowded quickly.

The atmosphere indoors and outdoors was great. It's family and pet friendly. The service was awesome and so was the food.

Super cute place! My boyfriend and I went when I was visiting him but it was too hot to sit in the patio. We each had a mimosa which was refreshing. I had the avocado toast which was kind of hard to eat because it was a huge bread slice with lots of lettuce but overall not bad. He had the burger and fries which were pretty good with the aioli sauce. Parking is easy and would definitely come again to try happy hour or dinner. The decor inside had nice plants and service was good.

******HALLOWEEN SEASON VISIT****** So we made reservations for a Tuesday night during October they have this schedule for Halloween theme movies playing throughout the month and special drinks. They took about 10min to get our table ready but they sat us on the bar in the meantime. The service could improve since it took a while for them to take our order but I'm not super mad at it because it was a full house still I understand that might be a NO-NO for some so just want to say that. Outside they had decoration on Halloween and a projector where they started playing beetlejuice beetlejuice: yes the new one still playing on some theaters (extra points for that). We ordered the grave digger martini expresso with peanut butter infused vodka I wasn't too sure about it but man it was delicious it was like a Reese's cup for grown ups, we also ordered the s'mores board for 2 which it was Beyond cute and delicious. The vibe was so chill and nice the movie wasn't too loud so you can talk and enjoy conversations or you could go inside the restaurant if you want it to be more intimate. And because I love beetlejuice I also had to try that drink with a lovely green color. Just stop reading right now and get your reservation for the upcoming days. I have to go back on regular hours for the food because the fries we ordered were also really good and crispy.

Walking in, the decor was super cute. Very nice Christmas lights and mini decor in the front and next to the area where you wait to be seated. We did a walk-in for the Christmas s'mores and drinks and were able to quickly get seated on a picnic table outside. Note though that when you sit at the picnic table, you don't get a view of the movie playing which didn't bother us. We ordered an espresso martini, s'mores board, and bolo a la vodka. The espresso martini was cookies and crème flavored and tasted pretty good; however as other reviews mention, the serving size of it is very small. The food came out shortly after and my favorite was the brisket grilled cheese- it was so flavorful and felt like a really good comfort meal with fries. Bolo a la vodka was also good, I enjoyed the texture of the pasta used- creste di gallo. The meals are definitely filling. After finishing our meals, we had to follow up with the s'mores board as it's been 20+ minutes and still wasn't served. Our server was super friendly about it though and when noticed it still wasn't there, followed up on our behalf. I definitely think you're paying more for the ambiance and experience. I think the place is just too busy when we went. We never got a refill on water and our server was moving around a lot it was difficult to get their attention (not their fault). I also overheard how some orders and drinks were getting lost and had to be followed up on frequently. All in all, cute date night place, but don't expect as attentive of a service.

To begin with, we got their first. We were asked to wait inside. Our reservation was at 5pm. Then as we are waiting and I quite white couples wee cooking in and they were being seated before us. In all my years at had never experienced something like this. I actually had to ask a waitress if we were going to be seated. A total of 3 couples were seated before us. The food was good. But if you're charging $20 dollars for a salad at least use fresh avocados not all bruised. Also add more than just 4 pieces of steak. The ambiance is ok, not the best. They had some pretty good drinks. The s'mores board is also good would I recommend, I don't think I would.

Would this be a good spot to celebrate a sweet 16 especially for the Halloween movies?

Hi there! Thanks so much for thinking of us. We would not be able to accommodate a group celebrating a 16th birthday as we are 21+. Thank you!
