New to Houston & wanted to try this spot! It did not disappoint. Their sign says tacos, whisky, and beer so I imagine that is what they are known for. However, we got margaritas, a burger, wings, and chips with Queso/guac. It all was soooo yummy! Marg was amazing, hand crafted. Would come back for it! The wings were also bomb! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside, the vibes were great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved the service, it was a very team feeling effort. Everyone helping. Really enjoyed this place and will come back again for their all day Wednesday happy hour!

The drinks are always great, staff is nice, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]there is plenty of seating any day you go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's more of a casual spot but still really nice inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you get anything from here, definitely get the nachos!! They are so good and are made from a truck out back.

Popped in for a quick night cap after leaving an event and it turned out to be just was we needed. We ordered a burger - my vote is yes on the burger. The drinks were 4/5, but we did have to tweak them a little. The only downside was the service. I'd give them 3/5.

A friend and I went to Eight Row Flint on a chilly evening and I loved that we were able to sit outside because they had large heaters/ firepits for us to sit by. Our server was very friendly and made some good suggestions during our time there. We were there during happy hour so we both ordered frozen margaritas for the first round and red wine for the second. The margarita wasn't as flavorful as I'd expected it to be so it was better for me to switch. We shared an order of the queso to start and I was glad that it wasn't spicy - just flavorful and delicious! For my main, I ordered the cheeseburger with curly fries which I'll admit isn't something I'd usually order. The burger was OK, but tasted more like a fast food burger than something from a sit down restaurant. All in all, I'll definitely visit again and will try a different main next time!

We stopped in for a quick round of drinks after dining across the street. The customer service was okay. The bartender wasn't too friendly. The ranch water was not my fave. The frozen margarita and painkiller were really good. We also played spin the wheel for $5 to win a drink. We won the Lynchburg lemonade which was not our cup of tea. It tasted like a hottie toddy. Definitely would go back for happy hour.

And we keep coming back... The whiskey selection is superior and the tacos are spectacular! It's nothing fancy but totally worth it. We love the pork carnitas, shrimp and Brussels sprout tacos. The cocktails and fresh and imaginative.

I've been to Eight Row Flint a few times and this place gets the job done. This is an old service station turned into a neighborhood bar. Parking absolutely sucks here. The lot has tight spaces and not much of it. DO NOT park across the street. They have people watching it and will tow right away. It happened to my friend on this last trip. There's plenty of signage warning, but let this be your warning as well. Customer service was ok. They have quite an impressive selections of spirits as well as good beer on tap. On my last visit, I ordered an old fashioned and it was just not the best I've had. I prefer my old fashioned with the singular block cubes to avoid a watered down drink. They do have a food truck in the back slinging out some tasty bar bites. Overall, this is a solid spot. Not my first choice, but still one I find myself back at from time to time.

This place has it all! I was trying to stay dry-ish so I had a Paloma with Elevate Pineapple. Paired it with the birria tacos. Both were so good! I'll definitely be back when I'm looking for drinks in the future! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Huge whiskey and tequila selection and a great patio for the fall weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The Hubs and I came to check out this place and have a drink. I ordered a strawberry magarita on the rocks and he ordered an old fashioned. I started with 2 stars because my drink came out frozen and when I told the waitress, she told me that I didn't say on the rocks. I replied, I didn't say frozen ma'am. It was her tone and facial expression that I didn't appreciate. The Hubs loved his old fashioned which earned them an extra star.

Great spot for libations and food. This full service bar makes a great destination for an evening of fun with a great Texas vibe. Wednesday is all day happy hour on drinks and until six on weekdays. Definitely worth taking advantage of for the cocktails. There's plenty of bar bites to be consider, though the tacos here are legit and very popular. I also enjoy the freshly fried chicharrones that arrived at the table still crackling! The large patio is supplied with adequate heat lamps for chilly evenings.

Even this time the GPS took us to an entrance that had us going the wrong way down a one-way, but we eventually figured it out I will say that the parking isn't all that great, but we were able to find a spot. If the parking lot is full you should be able to find street parking nearby Kanpai Club is a sister location to Handos. They share a kitchen and you can walk through an inside door access either. You can find the same cocktails and bites from Handos on the Kanpai menu, but there's also additional drinks and bites The bar feels like a Japanese Izakaya. It's a narrow space resembling a Japanese outdoor bar. It's intimately lit and well decorated. We did have to wait for two spots to open up, but that didn't take too long The bartenders were friendly, professional, and efficient. We went on a Friday night (fairly late), and they had two dedicated bartenders The cocktails were fun and were beautifully crafted. Most were served in novelty glassware. You can order classic cocktails, but both Kanpai and Hando offer a variety of signature cocktails. Most having some sort of Japanese or Asian fusion. They have beer, wine, and extensive sake list, as well as green tea and other nonalcoholic options The cocktails were tasty. The only one I was iffy on was their Espresso martini. It was poured from a machine and I guess there were having issues with it. The presentation was phenomenal. There was a roasted marshmallow garnish. The drink itself was far too Smokey in flavor than I like, or at least in terms of my espresso martinis The Yuzu Kosho fries were incredible. The flavors really hit the spot. The Okinawa Potato salad was both questionable to looks and and to eat lol. This purple mound of potato's had an interesting taste, look, and consistency. It wasn't bad, just... interesting and new Some tips: If you can't find this spot from the street, look for Handos. It's part of this restaurant Ask the bartender about the happy hour menu. And most nights they're open until 12am, but on Fridays and Saturdays they are open until 2am If you order food online (technically from Hando's) you can get 10% off using code: HANDO10. This is part of their "Hando and Chill" special Cheers!!

The service was 10/10, food was amaaaazing. We looked at other reviews before going and went with an app we didn't hear much about, but an entree that we did hear amazing things about. Appetizer: everyone talks about the dilly bread but honestly, the puff puff pass sounded better, esp the scotch bonnet aioli. 10/10 loved the flavors together, esp the fried bread with the aioli Entrees: we had the pork belly special and the nono's pasta. Everyone raves about the pasta and rightfully so. The noodles with the right amount of bolognese was such a flavorful comfort food. The pork belly was also delicious but the pasta hit better. Dessert: of course i had to get both! We got the famous olive oil cake and their banana rum cheesecake. We didnt taste much banana unfortunately but the cheesecake was tasty. Had a 5:30pm resy, seated outside right away that Saturday evening--it was a full house 45 minutes later. You'd be a fool to skip the dilly bread--a complete fool! The rolls are pillowy and warm. I could eat the butter by the pint. The fingerlinging potato dish is also a must have...pretty small for $19 but tastes like heaven. Spicy! Zaddy was being a bit of a clutz that evening and knocked over my $20 mezcal cocktail, so what does he do? Orders me another one! (That's why he's "zaddy") ....kind of wish he hadn't...so wasn't worth the price tag. Skip it. The chicken dinner was definitely the winner--fresh, juicy breast, crispy skin...don't be cute, you won't finish it unless your party has at least 4 in it! The flies were ruthless! Very annoying! They were acting like the geekers that come bother you just outside your favorite fried chicken joint in south Dallas! Our waitress brought out a table fan so that made the experience a little more tolerable. The chocolate peanut butter pie tasted like a salt rock and the lemon chiffon pie had great flavor but not lemony enough for me. All in all this place is a bit pricey but truly a gem! I think we played a total of 5-6 rounds with breaks in between and each round is a different goal (e.g. regular bingo, making an X, blackout, etc) with a different prize and the prizes gradually get bigger. Since the tables were all full, lots of people were either sitting around the stage, or on the turf, or standing on the back patio. Parking was super crowded.
