I've driven by Down the Street before and hadn't seen it very busy but was excited to see it with a good crowd when I arrived with my parents on Friday. We were able to easily seat our self at a table indoors and then walk up to the bar to order. Our table shared an order of chips & queso, I had the DTS salad and then we had drinks. The queso was great despite the chips being a bit stale. The salad on the other hand was perfect with every bite - I loved it! The vibes were very relaxed but nice (with the fans and breeze the weather was perfect). The servers were also very friendly! Will definitely come back for happy hour!

We stopped in because we saw the reviews were good and we love causal restaurant for date night. This place was awesome, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the patio is dog friendly which is always a plus! We decided to sit outside so they have an outdoor window you can order through which makes it easy! The place is really nice and fun. The staff were nice and we got our drinks and food fast! I absolutely loved the Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad. It was delicious and plenty big. My fiancé got the cuban Sandwich and he really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back especially to watch a game because they had plenty of TVs!

First time to visit this cute establishment the outdoor patio with the string lights make the ambience so cozy it's dog friendly, which I love and walking distance from my son's house. What a great local place to gather with friends.

This is not about the restaurant down the street, but the new coffee shop they opened! It is called Next Door! First I want to talk about the service, which was phenomenal. The person who took our order was friendly and helpful. The inside is beautiful with a few tables inside, but there is a covered patio area to also sit! There is also uncovered seating area, which I didn't really take a look at but seemed nice with the couch. My coffee was delicious!!! It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me (I get half sweetened) and the flavor of the espresso was great! They source their beans from tenfold which is a staple for me. I also got a slice of the pumpkin bread, which was also delightful. Overall, I would recommend checking their coffee shop out! You can also order from their bar and restaurant if you want to grab that before, after, or during!

Great food and service. Love their version of eggs Benedict it was delicious. The simple salad was so tasty.

Honestly I would not come back. I came to this place for brunch with my family from out of town who came to visit. Horrible service, weird low vibrational energy, and honestly waste of money. We ordered a variety of items from the menu and food was pretty mid. Drinks were not filled to the brim at all which felt like another waste of money. My father loves food and eats basically anything, he didn't like his meal so that speaks for itself. The vibe is very confusing?

A group of us came to this place since my lovely Yelp friend wanted to try this place for drinks after we had eaten at happy hour. They have a small parking lot, but also parking on the street. It's a cutely decorated place where you order drinks at the bar and have a seat. Nice inside and outside seating areas. Lots of TV's to enjoy the Astros game, or any sport. Drinks - I had a nice Fredricksburg beer I had never heard of Alstadt Kolsch. Then we enjoyed some shots. I had Don Julio Anjejo. One of us had ordered truffle fries, which they said was good. Service was ok. We enjoyed the digital version of a "juke box" and hung out a bit. Some folks were playing Uno. Overall, an easy place to hang out with friends.

I went here for brunch with some of my friends a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it! The burger was really big and very filling. The music they played seemed really random and didn't go together at all though, and it was so noticeable that several people in my group commented on it. Service was good, you order at the bar. There's also a water station so you don't have to go up to the bar for it!

Beautiful restaurant. You order at the bar. Food was brought out pretty quickly. Drinks were great.

Came here for steak night after a PM Pilates session and fell in love with the Christmas decor! Such a cute spot with a catchy name. Great service with a chill and friendly atmosphere. The steak was pretty good for bar steak. The salad was just salad. The potatoes were a bit under cooked for my liking. I like my scalloped potatoes to be well done.

Does anyone know if you can take children on Saturday for brunch?

I've seen plenty of parents bringing kids, indoor OR outdoors. And, a large patio where fur-babies are allowed, with water bowls provided.

I stopped in on a Friday evening for a night cap. The bar is a pretty decent size and they have their own parking lot. They also have arcade games including Skee Ball and Pop-A-Shot. The menu had beer, wine, and cider, but they do have a full bar. I didn't see any specialty cocktails on the menu so I just asked the bartender, Marc to make me a gin based cocktail. Marc came up with his version of a Corpse Reviver. It had a tart, yet fruity twist to it. I can't recall all of the ingredients he used, but I liked it. I also had a Gimlet which was really good. Marc informed me about The Railyard shot special. Any time a train rolls by, you can purchase a vodka based shot for $2. I'm not much of a shot person, but I went ahead and ordered a White Tea shot. It was really good. Everyone in the bar was friendly and I appreciated the diversity of the clientele. Super chill place, just as a dive should be.

Myself and a few people from my group arrived a little early for dinner at Brenner's and decided to have a cocktail while waiting. The inside bar is small, but intimate. There is some seating around the neon lit bar and some high top tables around. We didn't have a whole lot of interaction with the bartender, but he was pleasant and made a solid drink. My drink of choice was a Brenner's Old Fashioned. It was happy hour and there were drink and light bite specials. My drink was properly made and dressed and was a tad bit on the strong side. For the happy hour price, not a bad drink. As expected at a fine dining place like Brenner's, regular price drinks can be spendy. Overall, it was a nice option to have a place to sit and enjoy a drink before or after dinner. I think I would even come back to enjoy the outdoor space which seemed like a little oasis in the middle of the city.
