What a cool place. This was my first time coming to Kirby's ice house and I was quite surprise how large the space was indoor and outdoors. We came with a large group of 20 plus people and we were all accommodated with seating and standing space to watch the Mike Tyson fight. There were so many different areas to hang out depending on your vibe. There were areas with beach chairs ,picnic tables, high top tables and the bar seating plus the indoor bar area which was nice balance. There were many ways to grab a drink, either from the bar outdoor or the one indoor. The only bummer was that the 2nd bar outside was inactive for the night, but the positive was that there were servers walking around all night with drink orders. There were many flat screens indoor and outdoors and multiple very large movie screens outdoors. Perfect to watch the fight! I loved the neon signs! The bar servers were friendly and very fast to take and make your drink. There were also two food trucks outdoors which was nice if you needed a bite ( Cuban sandwiches or hot chicken) . Overall, this is a great spot to hang out with friends and family & to meet new people.

Fresh but bland and had no crunch. Ranch was good though.

This is my 3rd time coming here & once again it's just been okay for me. This spot is very spacious with good amount of seats on the inside and a very large seating on the outside. This is a great place to bring a party of 50. If you're not into large crowds then this isn't the place for you. I only went because it was four of my friend's birthday, otherwise I would've picked a different spot. My anxiety definitely increased with the amount of people that were there. Let's start with the positive, I ordered a jack & coke, manhattan & 2 Long Island ice teas. All were strong and tasty. The last Long Island definitely had me up there. It was mainly liquor with a little bit of tea, so no complaints. The staff were okay, they weren't the nicest but they did their job to get the drinks out in a timely manner. We were there for the Tyson/Paul fight so I definitely understood that they were slammed. The parking is trash. They have a decent amount of parking spots but it's just too many people. I see folks driving in circles hoping to find a spot but luckily I took uber to get here because I knew what I was getting into. The food I ordered at the food truck was below par. I got the chicken tenders with French fries. While I can tell they made it fresh to order and the tenders were not frozen. It was just bland with no seasoning. There was barely any coating on the chicken to make it crispy, they could've fried it a little harder. I think they were in a rush to make my food. The fries were sad with no salt nor did it had a crunch to it. The best part were their ranch. The thought process for making fresh chicken rather than freezer bag was great but the execution was garbage. Definitely not worth 14 bucks plus tips. If you're drunk you probably would've care but I was drunk & it still tasted like nothing. Overall, it was an okay experience. Not my ideal spot but it got the job done as far as drinks. It's 23 and up to get in so don't be surprised if you're denied entry if you're 21-22. This is also a dog friendly spot, so bring your fur babies out there. They have a rotation of food trucks coming in so it's not the same all the time. Hopefully if I were to ever come back, they will have better food options.

I stopped by Kirby Ice House on a Wednesday night to catch up with friends and to watch the World Series final game. You must have your ID to enter! The establishment is incredibly spacious - with versatile indoor and outdoor seating. There were yard games, tons of tv's tuned into many different sporting events, and several bars for ordering drinks. If you want food, you can bring in your own or you can order from the food trucks they have on site. Overall, it's a great atmosphere to catch up with friends and hang out while watching a game.

Kirby Icehouse is the spot for watching sports and catching a chill vibe. They have food trucks, astroturf, a great selection of beer on draft, and a full bar. What more do you need? This is my go to for the dive bar experience without the grunge that comes standard with most dives. Any time there is a Houston sporting event, they will have it on the TVs along with sound. There are plenty of TVs and a projector for the important games. Happy hour is from 2-7pm and they have specials for cocktails, beer, and wine. If you like dive bars and patio bars this spot is right up your alley. They are a good option for a day drinking or a chill night with your friends. The staff is attentive and there is always a place to sit, and lots of bartenders means there is normally a minimal wait for drinks. The next time you're looking for a casual hang be sure to check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Such a vibe! They have a wide selection of beers and my favorite Eastcider Pineapple ! You can play Jenga, connect four, or bring your own board or card game. There are comfortable couches, picnic tables, or you can sit inside at the bar. There is something for everyone. A great hangout to watch sports games, meet people, even have some great food from one of the food trucks on site! Also dogs friendly!

Madison was an amazing server very attentive and made sure we were never empty! We were watching the UT game and she made sure the game was was on where we could watch it.

Great for enjoying an evening outside. Wednesday steak night did not disappoint. $24 for a ribeye steak & loaded baked potato (or salad). $5 drink specials. If you're a sports fan, they have lots of big screens to watch the action. Lots of seating inside & out, good size lot with free parking.,

The food is ok, but there are no good mocktails at this establishment. They have so many types and mixes of alcohol, but no good mocktails.

The ambiance was great for the holiday they had themed drinks and specials going on, which added a fun touch and made it feel festive without being chaotic. Definitely a solid spot if you're looking for somewhere social but still comfortable. The drinks were good, and overall the vibe was on point. It felt like a place you could hang out for a while, whether you're there to celebrate something or just have a few drinks with friends. One thing to note is they don't serve food, I did hear they rotate food trucks at times, but none were there when we went which was a bit of a downside, but they did allow us to bring in outside food, which honestly made up for it and gave us more options. Parking wasn't too bad when we went, and since it wasn't super packed, everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, great vibes, good drinks, and a fun place. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a casual hangout or social night out.
