    Two shots of tequila Ocho!

My husband and I absolutely love coming here--it's become one of our favorite spots to unwind and enjoy a great night out. The ambience is always on point, whether we're stopping in for a casual drink or staying longer to enjoy the full experience. The food is consistently delicious, and the drinks are crafted perfectly every time. What really makes this place special, though, is the staff. The bartenders are amazing--Hannah, Eva, and Isa always go above and beyond, and over time they've truly become more like friends to us. They even make my ranch waters specially for me, which makes me feel so taken care of and honestly a little spoiled in the best way. Their energy, attention to detail, and genuine kindness make every visit feel personal and welcoming. We also have to give a huge shoutout to the manager, Bryan, who is incredible at what he does. He somehow always knows exactly what we want before we even ask, and his level of service is unmatched. If you're looking for a place with great vibes, amazing food and drinks, and a team that makes you feel right at home, this is it. We can't recommend it enough!

Came here with a friend. It's a great place to gather. The DJ tent was cool and the giant everything out there. The music was interesting, just a bit chaotic. The brisket was good but still on the fence about the chips instead of tortillas, but the meat was tasty. The mint cucumber strawberry something was really really fruity in the best way. The server was doing her best with so many tables. Would recommend to ppl looking for chill fun in the heights

Ambiance: Trendy & upbeat spot in The Heights with an expansive drink & food menu perfect for celebrating any and all occasions with friends or family. They have several Instagram-worthy backdrops, fun chairs/lounge areas, and music + games. Dog friendly as well! Limited onsite parking - valet and street parking also available. 21+. A bit on the pricey side but worth it for the ambiance and music. Does get crowded on the weekends. Lots of TVs & perfect for watching live sports. There is a pour your own beer wall, although we had a hard time figuring out how to work it. A must visit spot if you're looking for a fun ambiance on a weekend!

Great selection of drinks, beers, and food. The nachos are HUGE! The pictures do not do it any justice. Service is friendly and ambiance is typical of a trendy bar. Music is loud, outdoor seating is spacious, and they also have big booths for large groups. Great place!

We come here to watch the games sometimes. Parking can be hard to find! Plenty of seats inside and outside

Met up with some friends for mimosas and brunch at this spot. The food was as expected for a bar. We needed food with our drinks, and it was good enough. Service was pretty great! Our waitress was always easy to find when we needed something, and she even double checked our tacos for brisket vs pork after it looked questionable: What to get: mimosa tower

I met a friend at Moonshine Deck for dinner and drinks on my recent visit to Houston! I loved the fun atmosphere and instagrammable decorations. Not only do they have an outdoor with misters but they also have yard games to play which is fun for groups. While we were there, they had a live DJ which was fun but the music was way too loud. We kept moving tables to get further away in hopes of being able to hear one another. The bartenders and servers were nice and quick to take our order. While there, we ordered the following: - Beer (hard to go wrong) - Brisket Quesadillas: I can't say enough good things about these. They were incredible and I'd absolutely order them again! - Buffalo Blue Quesadillas: Pretty good but nothing out of this world. Still worth ordering again if you're a big Buffalo chicken fan Overall this was a fun place to meet with friends and I'd definitely go back for their Brisket Quesadillas!

This is my first time here and the place looks nice outside , plenty of seating , and cool decor. We were greeted and seated fast. We ordered the Brisket quesadillas and they were delicious along with the banana pudding. The steak I wasn't to thrilled about , I asked for medium and the steak came out well , so it was dry , and burnt on both sides.

We waited a LONG time for our waiter to show up. The drinks were good but I wish they would have wiped it before giving it to me it was quite a mess and my hands were sticky. We came during the St. Pattys day weekend weekend so it was a little vibe. I was surprised at how good the food was. The brisket fries were amazing. I would definitely order again, I'm looking forward to trying other menu items as well. The wings were OK. They were extremely wet, and you can tell that they weren't cooked with the garlic because the garlic pieces were hard and crunchyparking is extremely tight, you may have to pay for parking or park on the road.

Came with my book club friends for brunch! Such a great atmosphere to hang with the girls! Our waitress was so sweet and kind! I ordered the Avocado Muffin and it was pretty mid... needed some seasoning. If you're into bland food it's definitely for you! My friend ordered the breakfast tacos and she loved them! The mimosa tower is always a hit and we define leave feelin better than we came!

Finally checked this out mid-November. Can't believe it took me so long to check this place out considering it's near my neck of the woods. Located on W 19th street with a murderer's row of other bars/drinking spots, I found this one as one of the better ones, especially for watching sports and grabbing brunch. So interior-wise, it's quite roomy with a good amount of space. One side of the place has bar tables and high top counters; the other side has U-shaped booths allowing comfortable seating for groups and parties. TVs are also lined up in front of the booths so if you're with a group, you can select which game/event you all want to watch. There's TVs alll around the bar as well so finding your sporting event is no issue here. Great for NFL Sunday. Also plenty of outdoor seating as well with heaters in case you Texans think it's "cold". Being from the east coast, I've never seen heaters turned on unless you could see your own breath in the wind. Guess it's different here. Enough of that, moving onto the drink options, beer and cocktails are the specialty here. Beer selection ranges from locals to domestics and they have beer towers. Cocktails are also unique, I had the infused smoked ol fashion which is one of the better ol' fashions I've imbibed in. Also did an espresso martini since I needed some caffeine with my alcohol, gave a nice perk-up after guzzling miller lites and bloody marys. Cocktails aren't cheap so be prepared to poney up the $$$ if you get one (or multiple). Brunch cocktails (mimosas and bellinis) can be part of the beer tower allowing the customer to pour however much they want. Kinda cool for brunch! As for brunch, I ordered the brisket benedict with a side of fruit. Not a bad entree, the brisket was flavorful with the egg yolk running down. However they presented it sandwich style. Wished they had both parts of the muffin open-faced like traditional benedicts but I had no idea. Still finished it. Other brunch dishes looked tasty including the sirloin hash, french toast, and chicken biscuits. I'll have to dabble in one of those next time. Had some friendly bartenders who are attentive and work as a team. Looks like a fun workplace as they are chatty and enjoy engaging with the patrons and regulars. Look forward to future visits especially since it's within walking distance from my residence.

Upon visiting here, it's about the same size as Memorial IMO but still has the same touch and vibes that makes the Memorial location pretty dope. Obviously you're here for drinks, sports, or a combination of the two. There's plenty of parking here and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also live up to the whole "longest bar in Texas" where there is a 100+ foot bar area that stretches. There's plenty of tvs inside and outside so you can find any type of sports you're looking for as you guzzle down your beverages. Speaking of beverages, there's roughly 30+ beers on tap and just about every kind of spirit you can think of. Self-serve water coolers are available when you need to hydrate yourself if you've had one too many drinks. There's also a food truck here for eats with rotations (check the website for the schedule). It's pet friendly as well and they have drink specials every day. Bartenders are pretty attentive; I've never had issues getting a drink here, even when it's gotten slammed for NFL sunday or college football. Glad this is in my neck of the woods for sports watching and drinking.

Relatively easy to get to off of the highway, it has a nice little spot off of the main road. They have two parking lots which make it nice as long as it's not too busy, and a little bit of street parking. I imagine during peak business hours it can get packed and parking can be a hunger game situation. Walking in. They seem to have a lot of space. They have two different outdoor areas, and two different indoor areas. I only went into the main one during our event. It happened to be a Sunday so there was football on every TV out there,. They also had a volleyball game going on between Nebraska and A&M. The indoor area is on the smaller side, but it's nice and comfortable provided they're still space. They've invested most of their space and outdoor areas. It also helps that they have heaters throughout, which make it nice regardless of what time of year you're out here. Food wise, I didn't order anything. But they did have catering for the event and I assume that came through the bar. It was really good. I stuck to some domestic beers on the menu for this event, so I can't speak to their cocktails. However, having walked around I saw signs for different things that they have throughout the month. They do have steak nights, they have geeks who drink trivia, they have other events throughout the month that you should check out. Overall a nice place, I can't speak to their drinks, but looks like it'd be a cool place to go, watch a game, or host a thing outdoors, or just catch up with people. I would definitely come back if I'm in this area.

PARENTS BE AWARE: if you bring your family here, be prepared for zero grace, poor communication,…read moreand a confrontational approach to enforcing rules. There is little patience shown toward families, and situations can escalate unnecessarily. We've been regular customers here since this place opened and never had an issue until this visit. We're a family with two young kids and don't consider ourselves difficult customers. Our son briefly had a small ball. The person who I later learned is, or believe to be, the owner told us that balls weren't allowed. We immediately apologized, smiled, and put it away. No argument, no resistance, and the ball was never used again. Later, that same person came back and spoke to my wife in an aggressive, confrontational, and disrespectful way. The very first thing he said to her was, "I told you that balls were not allowed," despite the fact that our child was no longer using a ball. He clearly misunderstood the situation -- other children nearby (not with us) were playing with balls -- yet chose to lead with an accusation rather than calmly clarifying. Once he realized those children were not ours, he never apologized for the mistake. He simply walked away and went on to confront the other family instead. When I tried to explain this and asked that he speak respectfully to her, he became defensive, dismissed me outright, told us we could leave, and refused to hear anything further. The situation escalated into a verbal confrontation involving profanity on both sides. I'll own my part in that -- but the escalation was completely unnecessary and avoidable. What made this worse is that I later confirmed this person was the owner. That's deeply disappointing. Regardless of rules, there is no excuse for engaging with customers in a hostile, dismissive, or aggressive manner. This guy is arrogant, and rude. We won't be returning. If balls are not allowed, there should be clear signage. There was none. A simple sign would prevent situations like this entirely. I'm leaving this review so others can make an informed decision. This is not about one mistake -- it's about how it was handled.

The biggest red flag? Patron vehicles being towed under circumstances that appear predatory and poorly communicated. Multiple customers--including myself--were blindsided by towing while actively patronizing the business. There was little to no clear signage, no warning, and zero accountability from staff. Whether or not it technically skirts the law, it feels deceptive and hostile to customers. Inside, things don't improve. Service is painfully slow and indifferent, as if the staff would rather you weren't there at all. Orders are forgotten, drinks sit empty, and requests are met with eye rolls instead of help. You get the strong sense that customer service simply isn't a priority. Then there's the cleanliness--or lack of it. Sticky tables, dirty floors, and restrooms that look like they've been neglected for far too long. It's hard to enjoy food or drinks when you're questioning how often anything gets cleaned. Between the towing fiasco, the poor service, and the grimy environment, Cedar Creek Bar & Grill feels less like a neighborhood hangout and more like a trap for unsuspecting patrons. Houston has too many great bars and restaurants to waste your time--or risk your car--on this one. Not recommended.
