After grabbing dinner in the area, we made the short walk to get to Incanto. I hadn't heard of them previously but saw good reviews on Yelp and I'm always down for a cocktail bar. Since it was a weekday and it was close to close, we were the only ones there. Ambiance (4/5): What's most striking about Incanto is the bar area. I'm always a fan of bars that light up their bottles and they do so here. It's paired with some mystical decor in the background . . . very cool. I've only seen this done similarly at a bar in Tempe, Arizona. Service (4/5): We were the only ones there so not a tough situation for the two bartenders but it was one of their first days. She had to figure out how to make the specialty cocktail I ordered so it took a little longer than you would expect. She definitely deserves a leash though since it was her first day working at Incanto. Food (N/A): We had dinner at Patton's before stopping by so I was on a liquid diet. Drinks (4/5): My cocktail was a unique spritz of sorts and included Fever tonic water. What I like about Incanto is that they give you the leftover bottle of tonic water. Which is common in Europe but rare in the States. It was a nice touch. The drink was a little too bitter for my taste but I appreciated the presentation. If you're looking for a bar with cool vibes and a nice list of craft cocktails, check out Incanto.

Abdul is amazing! I have been coming to this place for awhile and it is a secret gem of the heights! 10/10 intimate spot for a date night or a girls night where you want to actually be able to catch up! Drinks are also 10/10!

We had so much fun here. Truly a must for girls night. The drinks were all delicious and I would honestly come back just for the truffle popcorn. Each drink had a cute twist. It was nearly empty when we went so hope they stay open!

Raspberry margarita $21 read my post. I didn't even ask for it.

Beware!! This place has gone downhill under the new ownership. I came here for a friend's birthday with a large group (30-40 people) and the service and pricing were beyond disappointing. When I ordered my drink, the bartender said they had a new menu but could still make my raspberry margarita. I waited at my table for 15 minutes, only to find out the drinks had just been sitting there on the side. He couldn't even bother to let me know they were ready--just a few feet away. Later, my friend ordered the same drinks. She briefly went to the restroom while he was about to make them, and instead of just finishing, he told her she'd "have to wait" because she wasn't standing there. Completely unnecessary and rude. But the worst part was the price gouging. Three margaritas came out to $65 because he decided to make them with Patron without asking. No customer should be automatically upsold to top-shelf liquor without consent. Normally, you're given the choice. The drinks themselves were tiny--maybe 6-ounces--and nowhere near worth $21 each. ( pictured below) plus they added a service fee on top of that, and the final bill was ridiculous. This was a birthday party with a big crowd bringing the bar plenty of business, yet the service was careless and the pricing practices felt dishonest. Upselling without asking is unacceptable, and charging sky-high prices for small drinks feels like a scam. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone until they fix their service and stop gouging their customers.

Very cute intimate bar with great drinks. I loved the Paradisco and Decadente. The truffle popcorn and fresh oysters were delicious as well. I'd love to come back to try the pizza.

Cute little hidden gem in the Heights! Came here on a Sunday to catch up with a friend over drinks and pizza! Cute aesthetic, pretty chill service, and a nice playlist that I could listen to on repeat!

Drinks and conversation were on point. I was looking forward a spot that was cute but not too loud. I love going out, but when I have to yell over the music to talk to the person next to me, that is not the right vibe. The music wasn't loud, the bartender was amazing and made some of the best cocktails. I don't know what any of them are called, I just requested a vodka base. He stuck to that and the drinks were delicious. I love going to cocktail bars and allowing the mixologist to have fun with cocktail recipes that are different. I didn't know it was valet parking (free) only, but it was fast and the guy was nice. Bring cash if you want to tip as he didn't accept any other form of payment for tipping.

Dined in on a Friday at 9 pm with reservations for 6 and was seated immediately. Definitely not a place for big parties. Parking is scarce. Service was great. We ordered: Tuna tartar: tuna was dry and had no flavor, the fried crisps in top were addicting Peston Rockefeller oysters: very good, surprised it was East coast oysters Charcuterie board: sad meat and cheese selections, the garlic butter toasts was the best Crema e funghi: cheesy mushroom goodness Several cocktails: some were too sweet, their cognac and tequila choices are limited, overall very creative concoctions That's nuts: the description sounded good but it came out very dry and tasteless

I came to try this place with my husband and two other friends. We had a couple of celebratory things happening so wanted a place with drinks and food. This place looked interesting from a quick search that was central. We stopped by on a weekday and right when happy hour started. Service was quick. The server was also helpful in explaining what was what on the menu. For drinks, I got the Thyme After Thyme, which was really refreshing and not so sweet. The Paradisco was my next drink. It was beautifully arranged in a disco cup. This one was a bit too heavy on the pineapple juice. It didn't really feel like I had something different/unique. For food, we thought pizza would be best for sharing. We got the Magherita and Crema de Funghi pizzas. Magherita has the classic taste. The mushroom one was really flavorful and was the crowd favorite. Also, the crust was really good. It tasted like a brick oven pizza to me. However, the food is not filling. I did end up going elsewhere after to get more food. Ambience wise, the place felt like dining at someone's house in the Heights - Small sit in option arrangements and dim lighting. There is also a spot in the front that is very Instagrammable. I do think it was a good idea to go early to get parking in the back. It's not very big so spots do fill up. Otherwise, I think you'll have to resort to street parking. In addition the exit out of the lot has a steep dip. I had a bike rack on my car and did scratch it getting out so fyi. Overall, positive. Would recommend as a hang out/catch up place for drinks and snacks.

Great cocktail bar and half off cocktails during happy hour 4-7pm! Highly recommend happy hour to get a margarita pizza and soft pretzel! Service is great and the place is a little house turned into a nice cocktail :)

It's a little inconspicuous house with a large outdoor patio, they have tvs with sports on. Inside, gorgeously decorated, plenty of seating and a nice bar. It's a nice upscale feel, fancy drinks, a decent food menu filled with pizzas, charcuterie boards, and other items. They have a holiday drink menu. I opted for a seasonal drink, it had gin, egg white and something else but it was very tasty. The service was great, friendly. I will return for good vibes.

My friend and I came this evening for the happy hour from 4-6 pm. All drinks on the menu were half off and so we both got the Paradisco. The drink was AMAZING!! Also the bartenders were really nice and attentive, the interior decor was cute too, and I loved the music that was playing. This place had such a great vibe. I will definitely be back to try more cocktails and maybe even try their food!

First place I came while visiting Houston. Located in the heart of the Heights! A lot of these bars/ restaurants are houses which i love! This place reminds me of Alice in wonderland with the c different color chairs they have for each table! The drinks are super fun looking but OMGEE!! What stole the show was the Estate Pizza! It's a MUST TRY Parking: small parking lot in the back but park at your own risk as it's a very tight space. Valet is an option and of course street parking if you can find any. Will def come here again!

The bread was very buttery and nicely toasted. The frank itself was very juicy and I loved how the pico and mustard help cut through the fat. The thing that made this hotdog stand out was the cheese sauce. The cheese sauce was delicious and I could probably have just eaten that alone. One thing though, the hotdogs were a bit on the smaller size, you probably would have to order something else or a second hotdog if you were hungry. Would come back again just for this hotdog! Parking/Service: There was a small lot on the side of the building, but other than that you might have to street park in the neighborhood right next to it. The ordering system was a bit of a surprise for me. You have to walk in to the bar and order there.

The fig, prosciutto and other toppings complimented each other well. The flatbread dough itself was ok but could've benefited from a little more flavor such as some garlic, butter and herbs. I also would've liked it a bit thinner so I could taste less of the bread and more of those delicious toppings. Don't get me wrong it was good and I ate all of it but these are small suggestions I'd recommend to bring it to perfection. I could see parking and seating being tricky. I was fortunate to snag a parking spot on the side of the building near the auto place and once inside I found a seat at a table with a lovely couple, another couple joined us soon after. Many of the guests who arrived later stood at first and then halfway through the event, made their way to the floor where they sat cross legged. When my friend made the reservation, she received an email encouraging customers to visit the tasting room before or after dinner. We showed up an hour early to visit the tasting room, however the host had no idea what we were talking about. Turns out they weren't doing tastings. Luckily, we didn't have to wait to be seated. We initially had a table that was not near a heat lamp, however an employee came over and let us know that we could switch to a table near the heat lamp which was appreciated because it was chilly. Our server was Laura. She was nice and funny. They had $25 flight specials. I went with the Sayanara Flight which had white wines. I really enjoyed them and they weren't too sweet. My friend had an NA wine which she enjoyed. We ordered the Truffle Fries and Meatballs. Both dishes were tasty. I enjoyed the aioli that came with the fries. They had discounted wines for purchase. Not all bottles were 50% off, however the gentleman that we spoke to went ahead and gave me a 50% discount on both the rosé and pinot grigio that I purchased which was so appreciated! I often pass by it going through a shortcut to I-45 and sometimes going home around the area. It's literally a 5-minute drive. I booked reservations Friday since I saw they opened up the 31st on Resy. It wasn't earlier in the week, but I knew it was the last day, and my friend and I really wanted to try. I'm glad we made reservations because they were at capacity (150 person capacity) and weren't taking any walk ins. We got there early cause Resy suggested checking out the Tasting Room before or after the reservation time. We got there about an hour earlier, and the host said he didn't know anything about that except that the Tasting Room area was used for events. Interesting. We were seated earlier on the patio on this freezing evening. At first, we were at a table that didn't have a heat lamp, but when one freed up, they were so nice to suggest that we move closer to the heat lamp since they saw us shivering. Lol. We were thankful for that. I wore fleece lined jeans and brought gloves and a beanie anyway having been in the below freezing winter in London. Laura was our server and was kind and funny. So was this other guy who checked in every now and then. He made light of their last day situation. The dining area is so beautiful inside. I love the limestone-looking interior and chandeliers. Reminds me of Fredericksburg or something. They had many large groups and a few small groups of friends or couples dining on this last day. Way to go out with a bang. A lot of the wines were selling out or already sold out around 7-8 pm. We tried the truffle fries and Sicilian meatballs with focaccia bread. I like the thick cut of the fries and the black garlic aioli. It reminded me of yuca fries. The Sicilian meatballs were a bit small, peppery and salty. I wish the marinara was a little more tart. The focaccia helped cut through the saltiness. I had 2 glasses of the NA Sauvignon blanc which was light and a little tart. They ran out of the NA red blend. My friend ordered Sayonara, one of their farewell flights which were aptly named for "goodbye". It was a great night on the patio but chilly. My friend purchased a rosé and a Pinot Grigio as part of their Last Sail wines. Actually, the Pinot Grigio wasn't part of the sale, and he was going to take off 20%, but he also made it 50% off. So nice!! I'm glad we got to try them on their last day. Bon voyage, Mutiny.
