I was so excited to visit based on the photos I had seen from previous guests and online - it looks so aesthetic! I will say that it's not as impressive as it looks online when you get there but it's easy to get good photos based on all the colors and lighting. We went during happy hour and decided to try an appetizer and a few cocktails. The prices are reasonable during HH and the service was good although the drinks weren't anything overly special taste wise (looks wise they're beautiful). This place has gone DOWNHILL so badly. It's very sad, they used to be a cute neighborhood date night spot with good service and quick bites, but I guess management changed or the owner sold out. We ordered the margarita pizza and what came out was a microwaved plain cheese pizza from the dollar store. Not even a basil leaf or tomato on it.... The biggest issue now is that they've started to do HOOKAH. WTF?! No one wants to smell that crap when they walk in and it's on the tables like a night club. Bad enough the bartender was smoking hookah outside waiting for customers to pull up. We tried to order our usual Rosailna drink but they were out of eggs for the egg White to top everything off. Incanto is a quaint cocktail bar in The Heights. It's literally in a neighborhood and looks like it could be any other house on the block. They have valet parking behind the bar but I've done street parking both times that I have visited. My friend and I were in the area and browsed Yelp for nearby bars which is how we discovered Incanto. When we walked in, we were surprised to see that we were the only patrons in the bar (it was a weeknight). The two bartenders working were very nice. One of them was new to the bar and was training. It took a bit longer to get our drinks since she was still learning the menu, but it wasn't a big deal. I had a White Negroni and it was really good! I enjoyed the lighter citrus profile of the drink. It was a different take on the classic cocktail. My friend had the Tazzi Tonico. The presentation of the drink was nice but he found the flavor to be a bit bitter. I came back a few months later with another friend. We made a reservation, but it wasn't needed. It wasn't super busy, but there were other patrons in the bar. Even though it wasn't busy and they had more employees, service was slow at times. At one point, we weren't sure if we were supposed to order drinks at the bar, but eventually one of the employees came over to our table to take our order. My friend ordered a Mocktail version of a Pimm's Cup while I started with the Rosalina. The Rosalina was a bit sweet, but I really enjoyed the froth from the egg white. I also had Thyme After Thyme. The thyme and grapefruit combo was refreshing. I've never ordered food, but the menu has options like burrata, pizza, oysters, and desserts. Additionally, they have coffee and espresso beverages. Loved this place when it was Bacco. Liked this place under the old management. Very much dislike this place under new management. Went yesterday (6/13/2026) at 8pm. We were the second group there. They had no white wine and only 4 beers to choose from. The bartender was always missing. Had to retrieve him from the back or from the patio smoking hooka multiple times. Food (the fries) came out on a cheap paper plate. Decorations have all been downgraded since new ownership. And the drinks were WAY overpriced. After grabbing dinner in the area, we made the short walk to get to Incanto. I hadn't heard of them previously but saw good reviews on Yelp and I'm always down for a cocktail bar. Since it was a weekday and it was close to close, we were the only ones there. Ambiance (4/5): What's most striking about Incanto is the bar area. I'm always a fan of bars that light up their bottles and they do so here. It's paired with some mystical decor in the background . . . very cool. I've only seen this done similarly at a bar in Tempe, Arizona. Service (4/5): We were the only ones there so not a tough situation for the two bartenders but it was one of their first days. She had to figure out how to make the specialty cocktail I ordered so it took a little longer than you would expect. She definitely deserves a leash though since it was her first day working at Incanto. Food (N/A): We had dinner at Patton's before stopping by so I was on a liquid diet. Drinks (4/5): My cocktail was a unique spritz of sorts and included Fever tonic water. What I like about Incanto is that they give you the leftover bottle of tonic water. Which is common in Europe but rare in the States. It was a nice touch. The drink was a little too bitter for my taste but I appreciated the presentation. Beware!! This place has gone downhill under the new ownership. I came here for a friend's birthday with a large group (30-40 people) and the service and pricing were beyond disappointing. When I ordered my drink, the bartender said they had a new menu but could still make my raspberry margarita. I waited at my table for 15 minutes, only to find out the drinks had just been sitting there on the side. He couldn't even bother to let me know they were ready--just a few feet away. Later, my friend ordered the same drinks. She briefly went to the restroom while he was about to make them, and instead of just finishing, he told her she'd "have to wait" because she wasn't standing there. Completely unnecessary and rude. But the worst part was the price gouging. Three margaritas came out to $65 because he decided to make them with Patron without asking. No customer should be automatically upsold to top-shelf liquor without consent. Normally, you're given the choice. The drinks themselves were tiny--maybe 6-ounces--and nowhere near worth $21 each. ( pictured below) plus they added a service fee on top of that, and the final bill was ridiculous. This was a birthday party with a big crowd bringing the bar plenty of business, yet the service was careless and the pricing practices felt dishonest. Upselling without asking is unacceptable, and charging sky-high prices for small drinks feels like a scam. Drinks and conversation were on point. I was looking forward a spot that was cute but not too loud. I love going out, but when I have to yell over the music to talk to the person next to me, that is not the right vibe. The music wasn't loud, the bartender was amazing and made some of the best cocktails. I don't know what any of them are called, I just requested a vodka base. I came to try this place with my husband and two other friends. We had a couple of celebratory things happening so wanted a place with drinks and food. This place looked interesting from a quick search that was central. We stopped by on a weekday and right when happy hour started. Service was quick. The server was also helpful in explaining what was what on the menu. For drinks, I got the Thyme After Thyme, which was really refreshing and not so sweet. The Paradisco was my next drink. It was beautifully arranged in a disco cup. This one was a bit too heavy on the pineapple juice. It didn't really feel like I had something different/unique. For food, we thought pizza would be best for sharing. We got the Magherita and Crema de Funghi pizzas. Magherita has the classic taste. The mushroom one was really flavorful and was the crowd favorite. Also, the crust was really good. It tasted like a brick oven pizza to me. However, the food is not filling. I did end up going elsewhere after to get more food. Ambience wise, the place felt like dining at someone's house in the Heights - Small sit in option arrangements and dim lighting. There is also a spot in the front that is very Instagrammable. I do think it was a good idea to go early to get parking in the back. It's not very big so spots do fill up. Otherwise, I think you'll have to resort to street parking. In addition the exit out of the lot has a steep dip. I had a bike rack on my car and did scratch it getting out so fyi. Overall, positive. It's a little inconspicuous house with a large outdoor patio, they have tvs with sports on. Inside, gorgeously decorated, plenty of seating and a nice bar. First place I came while visiting Houston. Located in the heart of the Heights! A lot of these bars/ restaurants are houses which i love! We booked a reservation here before dinner for our 7th anniversary thinking it would be a fun stop prior to dinner. Overall - ambiance is good, drinks were okay...service was not great. Ordered drinks at 7pm on the dot and the bartender refused to give us the HH special despite it running from 4-7pm. "Sorry, it's after 7pm" After ordering our drinks and ceviche (this was not a super busy night for them)....we waited 20 mins and no one brought us our drinks...wife went to the bar to check on them and they were just sitting on the counter. It's the perfect combination of cinnamon and vanilla. This drink is unfortunately only part of their holiday menu so it won't be back until the end of the year. This cocktail bar is an unassuming house in the heights area. It can be easy to spot and the entrance is a bit narrow. There's limited parking in the back so you may have to do street parking and walk. There's patio seating and indoor seating. This place isn't ideal for large group unless you get lucky! There was one table that could accommodate my group of 8! The pizza was the perfect thing to snack on while sipping on cocktails. The dough was nice and soft. My group ended up getting 3 margherita pizzas and 1 creama e funghi. I was feeling a little mixed about the drinks. I ordered a snow angel but was disappointed to find that it tastes like candle. I tried my friends' drinks as well. The gin and tonic was probably smoked using wood chips, but that's all you can smell when trying to take a sip. It was too overwhelming. This is a cute little bar in the Heights that is great for a pre or post-dinner drink. You definitely might miss it if you are not paying attention since it is a little bungalow type building with only a small driveway and there is a small neon sign with the name on it. Once you pull in, there is complimentary valet. Inside, there are cozy chairs and small circular tables which are great for a date night or for a very small group of friends. The music was pretty good but it also was not very loud which makes this a great spot to have conversations over a delicious cocktail. The servers were great, they checked on us often and were helpful while we were trying to decide on drinks. We also go the charcuterie board which was pretty good, but I would not come here for the food. The drinks were delicious and I would definitely be back for the cocktails. Nonetheless, we arrived, only to find out there was no table for our reservation and they have no availability to seat us, only outside. We sit outside and order drinks at 6:30. 30 minutes go by and no word. I ask the waiter and she says there is only one bar tender and she has no clue the progress of our drinks. Vibe is trying to be cool, but I am a sucker for it, so I'm gonna say it was good. We got the raw oysters and the ceviche for bites. I didn't think the oysters were a good value at $18/half dozen. The fixins were tasty, but I probably won't them again. The ceviche felt a little pricey at $20 for 5 pieces of fish, BUT I would definitely get it again.
