Location: Calvacade and North main Parking: plenty, huge parking parking space as well as street aprking Staff: Adam and Vough (probably misspelled) were phenomenal. Greeted us with a smile and took time to review and mention how good food options are. They also checked on us to make sure everything was good during our time there. Wait time: none Seating:both indoor, booth seating, table seating , outdoor and bar seating. Price: Average Drink: went for the red wine and hit the spot. Hubs went for whiskey and coke. They had Rebel whiskey and said it was perfectly made. Food: went from shrimp taco, yes one taco. They are clear about their menu and mention it to assure it's only one taco. It was delicious! Perfect amount of shrimp as well as a kick with all the ingredients. I want to say I tasted pineapple. Hubs went for ribeye burger and it was also delicious. Onions rings were the perfect crisp as well as with the dip. Over all a great chill spot. Great vibes, great service, great food and drinks. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice patio area when the weather is nice, and pretty drinks!

My boyfriend and I love Heights Hideaway. A tiny, cozy spot perfect for a drink before dinner or to end the night with. $2 Martini Tuesday is a favorite. I love the cucumber gimlet and espresso martinis. The food truck there is very good, a little pricey for how much you get, but I am very picky with food trucks and it is delicious. They have fun rotating beverages for different seasons. The bartenders are usually fun characters who are funny to talk to as well.

I've been wanting to stop by here since hearing the owners of The Post opened up a sister location. This is such a cute place with seats inside, a good sized patio with drinks and great grub. The onion rings were bomb and the cheesesteak was tasty. I love battered onion rings. I had a cocktail with scotch it was smokey and tasty. Adam was great as our bartender, answered our questions. It is a wonderful lil spot for a drink. It's not super spacious but it's cozy.

There's eclectic artwork on the walls ranging from interesting portraits to beachy waves. The menu is filled with well balanced drinks with tropical themed names but they're not all rum drinks. They have a variety of drinks plus food as well. I ordered a Day-O Old Fashioned which was strong but incredibly well balanced, great to sip on while having enjoying the vibes. The gender neutral bathrooms are quite spacious, really clean, and actually something to make note of. The staff was friendly and they were knowledgeable of their craft. I will love to return to try more, there's so much on the menu to taste.

They have a tropical speakeasy kinda vibe, and the staff has always been super friendly. I would recommend any of the cocktails, all the ones I've tried have been phenomenal. The old fashioned is executed well and the daiquiri was great considering I don't do sweet drinks often (this is where I get the speakeasy vibes from). I tried the wings and they were very good, try to go for their wing happy hour on Thursday from 5-7.

First, they have parking.. it was easy for us to find a spot on a Friday night. They do check IDs at the door, and it's Ssmall inside with intimate vibes, and plenty of outdoor seating. Great for a date night.. and I really like the furniture and decor. They have an Espresso Martini Drink on TAP and it's VERY GOOD. Service was quick and friendly. I read on their sign that they are doing a Steak Night soon, and I can't wait to see the pricing and how that tastes. Love that it's in my neighborhood, and such a fun place to go to. Midtown with their questionable parking makes me not want to go. Upon entering, the place is a nice, intimate setting, with a handful of seating areas along with bar and outside seating. Recommend bringing a light jacket as it was a bit cold. The menu had a variety of offerings, and noted that all drinks are $12. They are card only, so bring your card or tap to pay and also your ID. Because they are 3 feet from a school and are considered a private club, they comply with TABC regulations to ensure safety and efficiency in their business. From the variety of the drinks, I opted for my signature drink, an Old Fashioned, it definitely had a bite to it. I slowly sipped on it while I lounged in one of the seating areas. My sister tried the Starduster Ranch Water, and she didn't like it, I had a sip of it and it tasted like only way I can describe is like soap. Saw that they also have Mocktails and THC Beverages, I didn't try any of them. We headed out as we were trying to grab dinner and Starduster doesn't currently offer food. I did get to speak with Dylan again outside and he clued me in on a couple of things they are planning to do such as having food trucks and also open the upstairs for additional space. Overall, I know being new (had just opened last week) there are many things being worked on and do hope that things improve here and they add additional seating, it got busy for a bit and seating was standing only. Thankfully I was there early enough and got a nice cozy seating area. I removed a star because both my drink and my sister weren't really anything special, it tasted like they were premade and poured from a tap, I missed seeing each one be made. I did like that there aren't TV's inside, it helps maintain the personal interactions natural and focused. Outside they do have TV's which makes sense for bigger groups. Though the seating is limited inside, likely to maintain it as a cozy and intimate space, outside has a lot of seating AND they are PET FRIENDLY! In cold weather without heating lamps, don't think anyone would really sit out there. Once spring and summer arrive, it will be nice. On their menu they indicate "Weekly Specials" Spaghetti Western Sundays Monday Night Steak Night (not sure why it wasn't happening the day I was there, would've enjoyed some steak) Tarot Tuesdays Whiskey Wednesday

We were able to get a reservation for the patio as the inside was completely booked up. When we arrived we were amazed at the gorgeous lights and festivity! The opening weekend was without heaters but fortunately it wasn't too cold. The servers mentioned that they were bringing in heaters in a few days. We enjoyed perusing their holiday themed menu and settled on our orders. I decided on the Carol Singer and J opted for the Coconut hot chocolate. I was happy to try these warmer drinks on a nippy day and they were both delicious! I loved the spiced warm cider taste of rage Carol Singer, though the standout of the night was the Coconut hot chocolate. The whipped cream was perfect for giving the hot chocolate Christmas feel while still getting a kick from the rum and amaretto mix. Our servers were attentive and very accommodating. They did inform us of another party coming in to the same table 2 hours after our reservation which was very reasonable and we appreciated the heads up. I've also had the chance to stop by outside the Christmas season and was blown away by the tasty drinks and reasonable prices. I will certainly be back here next year for the 2026 Miracle at Johnny's!

First, the vibe. It is warm, stylish, and very Montrose in the best way. It feels elevated but still relaxed enough to just sit, talk, and enjoy your time without feeling rushed. We came during happy hour and it was such a great deal. I ordered the Sweet Like Peach Tree, which was light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with the peach and ginger. My husband got the Frozen Paloma and it was just as good, super smooth with the right citrus bite. We also shared the churros and they were honestly a must order. Warm, crispy, and paired with Nutella and caramel. What really made the experience stand out though was our bartender, Manny. He was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down, had such a great personality, and made the whole experience feel personal.
