One of my favorite dog friendly spots in Houston. The menu is pretty good and has something for everyone. It wasn't too busy on a Saturday around 11-12 surprisingly. There's street parking around the park, just be mindful of spots that are park only because they do tow. The service is alway good here, they bring your dog a bowl of water! And they have a doggy menu. The spinach and artichoke dip was a nice app, I liked the flavor. The dip itself was chunky, I would have liked it to be creamier, but I liked the jalapeño addition. I got the avocado toast and the portion was big, it came with 2 slices on brioche. I'm not the biggest fan of olives but didn't mind them here, especially with the feta and onions. The hash wasn't overly salty and I was very full by the end. My dog loved her chicken! Sitting on the patio is very comfortable with the umbrellas.

The vibe and ambiance at Hearsay is so vibrant. I really enjoy the natural sunlight coming in. They also have patio seating. They also have many TVs and will be plying all the March Madness games this month. They have street parking and valet parking. We decided to grab dinner at Hearsay before catching a movie at Regal Movie Theater. It was perfect because it was only a 3 min drive down the street! The appetizers were a little heavy in our opinion, but not bad. They were fine/good but nothing special. The rice cracker underneath the kungpao shrimp and calamari paired well with the protein, but the flavor of the shrimp and calamari is very potent and strong. We really enjoyed the ahi tuna tacos on a wanton shell and served with corn. The tuna was fresh and the tacos were loaded with toppings. We also really enjoyed the coconut cream pie! Our server was very nice and she boxed our to-go food for us.

Definitely a solid option; great service and lots of great comfort food options. I loved the flavor of the gumbo and the shrimp was well cooked; I would have, however, preferred it a little thicker as it was a little difficult to consume given the large surface area of the plate. The pizza was solid as well.

It always hurts me to give such poor reviews but, unfortunately, this is necessary when the service, food quality, and cost just do not meet standards. This is the 2nd time my husband and I visited this establishment. I REALLY wanted to love it. It has all the elements I enjoy with the beautiful outdoor patio looking out into the park. The inside is gorgeous with an extra long bar area and a crystal chandelier handing above. Our first time visiting we sat outside and just yesterday we sat inside. Both times the service was extremely slow and literally only a handful of patrons in the restaurant. Yesterday we arrived for HH and sat at the bar. Thi attentiveness of the bar staff was sub-par. They were definitely more interested in prepping for the Friday night ahead then a trending to my husband and I. Okay, I can deal with that but when my husband asked for the check that the bartender literally proceeded to make 10 more drinks before handing us th check which took her less than a minute. The drinks herself are beautiful and you can get a well crafted cocktail for $10 on HH but you can definitely tell they're reducing the amount of liquor they're giving you to make up for the price difference. We ordered the mini charcuterie board for $9 and the cheese, meat, olives all tasted like what I would purchase at the grocery store and take to a picnic. This did not resemble anything of the quality I would expect of such a nice restaurant. Honestly, if you want a meat and cheese board with drinks, inr common nd you head over to Slowpokes which is also in th same area and get their board and bottle deal for $25. That charcuterie board is so much better for the price! I did get a side Caesar salad and that was pretty decent. Anyhow, sad to say, we will not be frequenting this restaurant in the future. We love Levy Park and will likely be eating at the other nearby spots.

I really enjoyed this location. I have been to several other locations around Houston and they are all really nice but this one has a great atmosphere in a large park outside for families and kids. I will say the first thing that I noticed was the huge chandeliers that were really gorgeous. The bar area looks really spectacular as well. I came with a friend and we receded very quickly. I've sat here at both the bar and a dining table. Drink menu and food menu are really good and they have a variety of different options. I had the crab crusted redfish, my second time there and it was amazing. I opted to have the brussels sprouts instead of the green beans and I think I made the right choice! The brussels sprouts are incredible. I also really enjoyed the deviled eggs. The Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were not as good as I hoped them to be, but I would try them again if they made them a bit more crispy. The sauce that goes along with those were really good though. The service was a little slow both times that I have gone here. It's almost like they are not prepared for the influx of people that they will have with the area that they are in. We did get wine service in the wrong bottle was brought to us, but it was returned and replaced almost immediately so that was not a terrible incident. The espresso martini was one of the best I've ever had! Will continue to get every time I come here. Bathrooms are super clean and parking was easy as there is street parking as well as a parking lot. Sometimes they do open the outside doors but with Houstin being as hot as it is, I'm so glad they had it closed both times I have been here. Not a full five star just because of the service and hopefully they gain another star soon. Will be back though.

Great spot to grab lunch while at levy park. I only got the caesar salad and fries, which were pretty good. I wouldn't come just to levy park for this restaurant but will visit the restaurant again while already at the park with my dog, and try more menu options. The watermelon no-jito cocktail was delicious. Also love that they have a dog-friendly menu. My dog loved the wagyu "hot diggity dog" but he used to eat his poop, so you can't trust his recommendations.

I've ventured over to Hersay a couple times while visiting Levy Park. It's definitely a nice vibe during the summer time, sitting out on the patio. They're also dog friendly too. I ordered the Brussels sprouts that include bacon and a sweet glaze, delicious! I also ordered the scallops which are paired with a sweet potato purse and broccoli I which was so well balanced. The only downside during this visit was the amount of flies which was such a nuisance.

Beautiful place and wonderful service by Jason! We thought they had happy hour on Saturday too. Nevertheless, we decided to stay. My friends enjoyed the salmon and Cuban sandwich. I liked my plant-based burger. The French fries are excellent. Jason gave me a limeade refill. It was refreshing as it was a warm afternoon. The cherry on top at Hearsay is free pop corn and cotton candy. I look forward to going during happy hour and live music.

We visit this place for the first time and it was amazing! First we walk in and the place is beautiful, love the chandeliers and how open it is. Brandon did a great job in recommending drinks and dinner and make sure we had a great time. Also it was really cool to have Danny one of the manager come say hi and make sure we were having a great experience. We tried the brisket and fish tacos, and They were both amazing. Also, the meatball appetizer was great. I highly recommend this place.

Love the ambiance, as the weather gets better there are able to open walls to the outside. I had an espresso martini, the crab crusted redfish on green beans with a slice of coconut cream pie washed down with a latte... yes I was hungry, skipped breakfast. Service and food were excellent!!!

Have been by Hearsay at Levy Park many times. Finally met a couple of friends for a perfect GNO. Love the chic antique interior with beautiful chandeliers and the inside/outside patio seating overlooking the park. Currently decorated with spider webs and pumpkins for Halloween. Grabbed a quiet hightop table. So many cute options for dining. The patio is dog friendly, too. Our table ordered a variety of apps, soups, entrees and a dessert to be shared. My friends loved the ahi tuna nachos, gumbo and the gem wedge salad. The Chicken Milanese was so delicious. Chicken with artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, and capers topped with a lemon cream sauce served with a side of garlic green beans. Their drinks are so creative. The flameless Leah mocktail was like liquid sunshine in a crystal cocktail glass. Strawberry, lime, mint and coconut water. Get this one!! The cucumber cooler with muddled cucumber, lime, cilantro and coconut water was quite refreshing (although it had too much ice.) My friends enjoyed their red and white wines. Their glassware was also so interesting. Different types of crystal stemware. Cocktail glasses. Wine glasses. Highball. Double old fashioned. Water glasses. This could be like a lesson in ordering on a bridal registry. Complimented the eclectic chic antique interior perfectly. Split the Hearsay Bread Pudding. Served with vanilla bean ice cream, it was the perfect way to end a wonderful GNO with friends. Free street parking is available surrounding Levy Park. Overflow garage parking is accessible if needed. Hearsay at Levy Park is definitely a great place to meet family or friends. No reservations required at 7 on a Wednesday.

Okay well hello again Hearsay! Lol I have previously visited the Hearsay located downtown and I enjoyed it. So when we were planning our staff holiday dinner and I discovered the Levy Park location. I was like say less! To start this place aesthically is sooooo cute! It has a very rustic vibe and is well lit with sectioned rooms and a fire place! There appears to be an option to open the garage door style windows to enjoy the outdoors while you eat weather permitting. We were stationed in the private room where the lights were having a bit of a struggle. Our excellent waitress Angie was on it and brought out these cute table lights to address the issue. Speaking of Angie let's talk about service. As previously stated she was excellent! Provided great advice about the menu she was attentive to our parties needs and got our orders in quick and timely. I ordered the shrimp and calamari a dish I had tried at the downtown location. It lets a lot to be desired it was soggy and not crunchy as excepted from the 1st time I tried it. But don't fret! Eeverything else I tried was great! I ordered my signature drink an eespresso martini and yes! It was perfection. I was going to the gym after so I tried the impossible burger and fries. It was soo good so filling. What vegan patty? Can't tell. Any who various selections were made across the table! Also it appears the menu at this location is more extensive love that! Parking can be a challenge on a busy day at levy but there's a parking garage! All in all this place provides great ambiance, food and service I highly reccomend you check it out!

Outstanding Experience at Hearsay at Levy Park! The food was absolutely amazing, the view was spectacular, and the service was truly top-notch. Mac was our server and he was incredibly kind and professional a true gentleman. What stood out most was how attentive the entire team was. If I even reached for something, someone was already at our table making sure we were taken care of. I know it's part of their policy, but you could feel the heart behind it. Everyone genuinely cared about providing excellent service. The music selection was diverse and enjoyable, which I appreciated. I ordered the blackened redfish tacos with their heavenly rosemary and parmesan fries so flavorful and perfectly cooked. And I'm not usually a fan of corn tortillas, but these were delicious! We absolutely plan to come back.

I ate at Norigami Tuesday night and it was great as were the cocktails served up at the nextdoor bar called Hidden Bar. On Tuesday, I tried the Thai Chili Ginger Margarita ($13) and it was great, complete with a hunk of candied ginger which I "gingerly" consumed throughout my drink experience...see what I did there? Next, I had the Three Dots and a Daiquiri ($13) with Rum, Lime, Velvet Falernum, All Spice and Pineapple and it was very similar to one of my favorite tiki drinks, the Three Dots and a Dash, complete with 3 luxardo cherries. To finish, I had the absolutely incredible Golden Laurel ($16) with Gin, Italicus Bergamot, House Greek Botanical Bitters and Sea Salt. It is equally beautiful served with a clear bay leaf and delicious. Last night, I was guided by the friendly bartender to try the Et Tu Banana" ($15) with Banana Bourbon, Spiced Pear, Creme de Banane, Campari and Citric Acid. I was a little worried about the cocktail being overly banana-y but it wasn't at all. It was a fantastic drink. For my last call, he recommended the Left Hand ($13) with Bourbon, Campari, Sweet Vermouth and Chocolate Bitters. Again, fantastic. Both nights, the bartenders and drinks were fantastic. Ambiance is nice with moody lighting. They even have a bidet toilet seat in the bathroom! Hidden Bar is a "hidden" gem, for sure. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were lucky enough to find seats, but it was so crowded we could barely talk without yelling, and we were basically shoulder-to-shoulder with the people around us Other than that, it's a really nice spot to grab drinks, hang out with friends, and get some cute content. Would I go again? Yes... just maybe not on a Friday night

I asked for something tropical and not too sweet. It was pretty good but not as complex as the catch 22. My husband liked the jaded merchant better than the dew drop. He also was sipping far too much of my mocktail which speaks volumes about how good it was. Love the moody vibes, drinks, and service. So we walked on over to this little speakeasy and were immediately greeted by the bouncer. On a Thursday night, it was quite crowded, but were able to find the last remaining seats at the bar. We were seated at the left end of the bar, which was nice because we had our own little "nook" away from the rest of the bar. Adjacent to us was the server station - the one server tending to the tables, Marilyn, frequently came by and we immediately befriended her. She gave us excellent recommendations and provided her opinion on several drinks. Robin was the bartender who took care of us throughout the night. She was super friendly from the moment we sat down and gave us stellar recommendations on food and drinks. She was happy to tweak a couple of their seasonal drinks to our liking, and even offered to mix other drinks that weren't on the menu. Fantastic service from Robin throughout the night. I started out with Tommy's Margarita - this was just their take on a classic margarita, nothing super special. I then ordered the Oaxacan Old Fashioned - think of an old fashioned made with tequila and mezcal in lieu of bourbon. I was a bit cautious about this one since I am not a fan of mezcal, however the smoky flavor was not very apparent in this one, which was a huge plus! I also got the Ardilla - very unique drink made with mexican corn whiskey, cocoa nibs, sherry, and a milk punch. I award this drink for most unique I've had in a while, definitely give it a try if you're up for something new. To finish, I had the Cariña - their take on an espresso martini made with reposado tequila. I really liked this espresso martini - it was a great way to finish out the night and I left feeling inspired to make my espresso martinis at home using tequila now! With the little room we had left in our stomachs, we tried the Pato Tinga Memela, which was duck leg (no bone) with beans and onions and cilantro atop a memela. I haven't had memela specifically per se, but consider me a fan. It is basically a mini "cake" of masa that is pan fried to a slight crispiness. An Oaxacan speciality, where else can I find these in Houston!? We also tried the Guacamole y Tostadas. The guacamole was unique in the sense that it was Oaxacan style, so contains pepitas, pickled onions, and queso fresco. The tostadas were super crispy and reminded me of how they serve guacamole in Mexico (rather than with chips/totopos). Fun fact is that this bar is owned by Goode Company. Next door to this is Goode Co. Cantina, so it's nice that they created an adjoining restaurant + speakeasy concept within the same strip. At one point in our visit, Levi Goode was standing next to us. We didn't know until after he left and Marilyn informed us, that that was THE man. Just doing a casual check-in of his bar. We really had a good experience at Bar Buena and look forward to returning. The food menu has quite a few offerings I wanted to try had I not come from a cooking class. We were also told that the seasonal drink menu was set to change shortly after our visit, so I look forward to trying these drinks!

When I tell you this is the friendliest service I've ever had at a bar or restaurant, I mean it! All different members of the staff were checking in with us to make sure we were having a good time and enjoying everything. We tried out three of their drinks: enamorada, uno amargo, and their classic frozen mezcal margarita. I say this as someone who is stupid about cocktails, but I think if you're a fan of old fashioneds you'll be a fan of the uno amargo - it'll put some hair on your chest! I loved the frothiness that the egg white brings to the enamorada but I think the frozen margarita was our winner. Imagine your favorite frozen marg but better - the mezcal brings an earthier flavor to a cocktail that us Texans all know and love. Finally for food we had the pato tinga memela, gulf crab tostadas, and carnitas flautas. I genuinely loved them all so much, every protein was so juicy bursting with flavor, which makes sense considering everything is made to order. If I had to pick a favorite I would struggle (I'm not kidding, it was all that good), but I think the crab tostadas won us over with their freshness. We had such a great first visit to bar buena and I can see this quickly becoming a cozy date or after dinner drink spot!

The space is visually striking, layered, and honestly just a cool place to sit, soak it in, and be part of the scene. It feels like something Anthony Bourdain would've paused to appreciate that raw, curated vibe that promises more than just a meal. We ordered a spread: chicken wraps, fried chicken, a couple of Ketel One drinks, and finished things off with red velvet cake and bread pudding. On paper, it reads like a lineup that should hit. In reality, it landed somewhere in the middle. Nothing was bad but nothing really sang either. The fried chicken had the right idea but didn't quite deliver that crave-worthy punch. The wraps were fine, the desserts decent, and the drinks did their job. It all felt... acceptable. Like the kitchen understood the assignment but didn't fully commit to it. What stood out most was the contrast the menu is ambitious, the atmosphere pulls you in, but the food doesn't quite translate that same energy to the plate. It's the kind of place you want to love more than you actually do. That said, it's still a solid spot to check out, especially for the vibe and the experience. Just don't walk in expecting fireworks think more along the lines of a slow burn. Overall, I'd call it a decent restaurant that leans more on its aesthetic than its execution.

These are all $17 but the bartender mentioned that they also do a happy hour until 6:30 during which cocktails are $10. I will definitely come back for this another day. We also got the Carajillo shots, a cocktail that we normally enjoy, and while they came in cute little long steamed shot glasses, and were tasty, the strength of the shot was honestly just like a tiny portion of the regular cocktail. I would skip this next time and just get a full size version. Gratuity (20%) is added to all tabs in addition to a credit card processing fee (3%). Parking in Montrose is always a challenge so I would definitely recommend taking an Uber or Lyft. Overall, a solid spot for drinks!

First, the vibe. It is warm, stylish, and very Montrose in the best way. It feels elevated but still relaxed enough to just sit, talk, and enjoy your time without feeling rushed. We came during happy hour and it was such a great deal. I ordered the Sweet Like Peach Tree, which was light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with the peach and ginger. My husband got the Frozen Paloma and it was just as good, super smooth with the right citrus bite. We also shared the churros and they were honestly a must order. Warm, crispy, and paired with Nutella and caramel. What really made the experience stand out though was our bartender, Manny. He was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down, had such a great personality, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that kind of service is hard to find. He also told us about their upcoming two year anniversary party on May 3rd with rotating live DJs, which sounds like it will be such a fun time. We will definitely be back. Between the drinks, the atmosphere, and the service, this place really gets it right.

It's a little small inside and a small parking lot, but if you're lucky and can walk there, do! The quality of the drinks are really excellent and the burgers have been voted some of the best in town! I can't speak for them, but the drinks and the spot, are phenomenal. They have bingo nights, dj nights, and other themed events that keep the place packed out. Maybe once I try the burgers, it'll be 5 stars, but the smallll parking lot and lack of safe street parking keep me at 4.

Their chicken sandwich is a must try and has gotten well deserved accolades. Perfectly breaded, toasted bun, and very juicy. We paired it with the churro French toast, an almost cloyingly sweet (but perfectly cooked) dish that definitely needed a savory balance. Their bacon is delicious, super thick with a slightly herby flavor. The evening hours can get loud between the crowds and the DJ, but the vibe is still really cool and chill. Definitely one of the more unique, fun spots of the Montrose/Upper Kirby area.

The only unfortunate part of my experience was that the two of us at my table got the same dish - biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was dense but softened under the rich and savory gravy, and I got my eggs over easy to get the yolk mixed in. I also added some of their house-made habanero curry hot sauce, which is absolutely delicious. I'll definitely have to try a few other dishes next time! Their coffees are also great, with unique flavors for their lattes like spiced guava and molasses. Both of these were super tasty, hot and iced! Ultimately 93' Til is staying on my brunch list as a top tier choice, I can't wait to come back!
