Pub board, Bruschetta Board

Let me tell you about them bruschetta boards You get to choose 4 flavors out of ~10 options, and each are cut into nice bite sized pieces to share with a group. Also highly recommend Postino's Board and Bottle deal!

Solid choice in Montrose, and great patio. We went with our friends and their young kids, and were looking for somewhere that's family friendly, and has outdoor seating so we would be out of the way and not make too much noise inside an establishment. This place fit the bill perfectly. The many is very bready- bruschetta's, panini's, bread based appetizers. It's great for even the pickiest eaters, however if you're looking for things beyond sandwiches or salads this isn't the place for you. We ordered the table cheese board, a caprese panini, sandwiches from the kids menu, and some bruschetta. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the kids especially loved the cheese, fruits, and jams. Service was a bit slow and confusing, our servers kept changing out, and when we would try to flag someone down we'd be told oh we're not your server and we're changing /assigning them now, please wait. In that shuffle we were waiting quite some time, but everyone was friendly enough. I enjoy the location and if I'm ever wanting snacky food I can see myself coming back!

I love postinos! I am a regular at this place for Monday / Tuesday board and bottle for $25! It is absolutely fantastic of a deal, especially for a date night. If you go with someone, you can split it for around $15 including tip! I always pair with the costa red blend. But they also have others too on the menu. For anyone who likes a more sweet wine, they have a Riesling Perkect! I highly recommend the pesto salmon, spicy pepper jam, fig apple brie. Those ones are my absolute favorite! Have fun with it though! Service was very great too! They get you the board and bottle within 10 minutes.

Postino is a great, affordable spot for dinner with friends. I've visited a couple of times and have always had pleasant experiences. The appetizers are good and the bruschetta boards are creative, but the real stand out for me are the paninis! Most recently, I tried the prosciutto and brie panini with fig jam, balsamic, and arugula. It was so delicious I ate the whole thing even though I was exceedingly full. The restaurant itself has a nice patio, well-lit with glowing string lights. The inside dining area is moody and cozy, giving the impression of a dark library or romantic wine cellar. In combination, the stellar food and comfortable ambiance make Postino Montrose a good location for a date or casual hang out.

I've been to Postino many, many times but this was my first visit to Postino Montrose! Honey, we were starving and quite tipsy...get into it! We popped in for a late afternoon snack/lunch and got right to it. We were across the street at JR's and had an enough drinks for the day. Haha! Immediately greeted and seated and we took a few minutes to decide. I indulged in the Caprese Panini + Mixed Greens Salad and baybeee let me tell you, that shit is delicious! And nutritious! Lmao! I'm hilarious. The panini was fresh, and tasty! As was the salad. I enjoyed my food so much I wanted to return the next day. Did I? No. Will I be back? Absolutely! As always Postino has the vibes, it's dim, but not too dim with eclectic decor. Stop by and order what I ordered!

Really great deal on monday nights with their board and bruschetta deal! Choice of full bruschetta board of 4 flavors and bottle of wine. Was a big fan of everything we ordered: fig apple brie, french onion, spicy and sweet pepper jam, prosciutto fig. Also highly recommend the Perfekt wine if are into lighter white wines. Sweet undertones but not quite a dessert wine. Ambiance is really nice outdoors, nice date spot. Service was pretty quick and they check in often. Definitely coming back for board and bruschetta!

Postino's is thee spot for a Friday night dinner with the girls. I've been to their restaurant multiple times, which says something given all the options available in Houston. The menu has so many delicious options that range from a full meal to lighter bites. My personal favorite is the Proscuitto and Brie panini, the combination of sweet and salty always hits the spot. The drinks are also good (and on the stronger side for their size); I'm a fan! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend Postino for anyone who wants good food and nice vibes. 10/10!

I went to Postino with some friends, and I just had to get the board after seeing all the pictures! The restaurant had such a nice selection to choose from, and I got to choose up to four! I got their smoked salmon, the prosciutto di parma, fig & mascaprone; burrata, bacon, arugula & tomato; sweet n' spicy pepper jam & goat cheese. My most favorite was the burrata, bacon, arugula & tomato. My least favorite was the smoked salmon (just going through a little transition phase with the smoked salmon, I guess). I really appreciate the amount of topping they added on the bread. The attention to detail and them having cut the each bread into smaller sections, just making it much easier to eat. The service was excellent. Plenty of seating and parking. Sadly, we missed their happy hour. I would come here again. The ambiance is nice whether it's a date or just a nice hang out.

My son and I visited Postino in Montrose for a belated 18th birthday lunch. We were seated outside, and it was slightly chilly. The host mentioned we could ask our server to turn on the heater next to our table. When our server arrived, she said she'd be "one of" our servers, and we asked about the heater. She told us she would inform the manager, but unfortunately, the heater was never turned on. She was the only server who attended to us, and although the service was adequate, it wasn't particularly memorable. We ordered a bruschetta board with Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil, Warm Artichoke Spread, Mushroom & Mascarpone, and Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese. The bruschetta was fantastic, and the pepper jam with goat cheese was absolutely amazing. For our mains, we both had caprese paninis on ciabatta bread. The flavors were good, with fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, roma tomatoes, arugula, olive oil, and balsamic, but the bread was tough, and I even cut my mouth on it. The chips served on the side were bland and inedible. I had an espresso martini, which was tasty but not very strong, and my son enjoyed his lemonade. Parking was terrible--we drove around multiple times and finally ended up parking in a nearby neighborhood. That's just Montrose, though, and not something specific to the restaurant. .

Postino Montrose Follow-Up: Can't Stop, Won't Stop So here's the thing--after that first visit, the food at Postino Montrose has been living rent-free in my mind. Specifically, the West Coaster. When I say we were craving it... yeah, it got real. So, naturally, we hit up Uber Eats and ordered it so I could have it waiting for me after my shift. And let me tell you, even after being delivered, it hit just as hard. It's the kind of meal that stays elite no matter how or when you eat it. Postino, y'all are a problem--in the best way possible. We didn't dine in so no ambiance.

Shveta A.

Whenever my friends and I want to catch up, relax and eat some good food-Postino is at the top of our list. The atmosphere is chill and feels upbeat, with a good crowd, but not feeling cramped. The staff is also very accommodating, trying their best to find preferred seating and also explaining all the menu options and their personal recommendations when asked. We love the Board + Bottle and the options are always high quality and of a good variety. An old favorite was the perfect Riesling, which I was sad was not an option last time. All of the Bruschetta options were great, but the Sweet N' Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese was out of this world! The goat cheese and jam really complemented each other to create a sharp, but pleasing flavor profile. Some other standout pieces were the Brie, Apple & Fig Spread and the Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone (who doesn't love a good Prosciutto!). I also like how they have trial flavors (like the elote one) in order to see what patrons think. Really can't go wrong with any of the charcuterie boards either, if you're more in the mood for individual items. Can't wait to go back and try more!

love a postino! came in for $6 before 5 on friday & was sad that the vibes were dead. service was great & the orange wine was YUM!

Did not think anything was good. First off, crispy cauliflower: comes out charred, not hot, not crispy, it's an entire head of cauliflower that tastes boiled and overcooked. Bland af. The bruschetta was all cold, soggy bread. Not great. The grilled cheese, bland tomato soup, small ass sandwiches that had no flavor so like eating thick not crispy cracker. Meat balls were good. The nick board was decent but pretzels were not soft and overcooked baked and hard to eat. Olive cake dry af. Overall, not a great place for food but the ambiance is good for dates. Service decent.

First, the vibe. It is warm, stylish, and very Montrose in the best way. It feels elevated but still relaxed enough to just sit, talk, and enjoy your time without feeling rushed. We came during happy hour and it was such a great deal. I ordered the Sweet Like Peach Tree, which was light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with the peach and ginger. My husband got the Frozen Paloma and it was just as good, super smooth with the right citrus bite. We also shared the churros and they were honestly a must order. Warm, crispy, and paired with Nutella and caramel. What really made the experience stand out though was our bartender, Manny. He was incredibly welcoming from the moment we sat down, had such a great personality, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that kind of service is hard to find. He also told us about their upcoming two year anniversary party on May 3rd with rotating live DJs, which sounds like it will be such a fun time. We will definitely be back. Considering the recent shutter of other places (#2) within the hospitality umbrella, it's not too big of a surprise that Wooster's would also be in the crosshairs. The space was always a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, which combined with its dedicated parking lot made this an easy drinking outlet for all kinds of occasions. The intimate indoor space was lovely and well ventilated, and it felt like there wasn't ever a moment where the bar wasn't slammed. The outdoor space was much of the same, with lots of tables and chairs, and even the trendy swing chairs facing the city. The only thing that was a little bit of a liability were those open flame heaters; it would only take on person to accidentally walk into one or trip onto it. For libations, the drinks were well priced, well made, and always potent. I appreciated the aesthetics, as well as the bartenders who made them. The only part that wasn't exciting was the limited food menu, which did its part as munchies for the drink heavy crowd, but was mediocre otherwise. The space is already undergoing the new facelift of a separate concept, one of which I hope will do the area justice, just as much as Wooster's did. ____________ (#1) The Kirby Group. (#2) R.I.P. You are drawn, the way one is drawn to a place that promises honesty with a wink. It wears the posture of a dive but carries itself with intention, a little bohem, a little defiant, and entirely comfortable in its own skin. The bar hums with craft. Cocktails arrive balanced and deliberate, built by hands that understand restraint as much as flair. Nothing shouts. Nothing apologizes. Each glass feels considered, as though the bartender paused just long enough to ask what kind of night you were hoping to have, then answered without speaking. The staff moves easily, quick with wit and generous with attention, treating regulars and first-timers as if both had already earned their place. The decor tells its own quiet rebellion. Mismatched, layered, worn just enough to feel lived in, it carries the sense that stories have been told here and will be told again. And then there are the bathrooms, unisex and unashamed, their walls papered with vintage Playboy centerfolds that celebrate the female form not as spectacle but as art. Tasteful, sexy, unapologetic. A reminder that admiration can exist without crudeness, that beauty does not need permission to be acknowledged. The Two Headed Dog is less a bar than a posture toward the world. It resists neat categories. Not quite dive, not quite cocktail lounge, not quite anything else that could be reduced to a label. It is a place for those who appreciate craft without pretension, sensuality without excess, and atmosphere without artifice. In a city that thrives on reinvention, this bar stands firm, confident enough to be exactly what it is and nothing more.

It looks like the drink that I ordered is also no longer on the menu. The bar prides itself on having a rotating meal changing menu so I think that's a lot of fun when it comes to trying new drinks and new combinations and it truly shows the artistry of the bartender. There was the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior was more of a dimmer, elegant and darker tone. I can see it being pretty classic if you were to go at night time. The bar set up was really beautiful and they had different 2 to 4 seating wooden tables. Overall, the inside would probably only fit around 20 people. I was very sad because we couldn't sit outside. The bartender came out of the bar to take orders, give menus and give you the check. I will say that it got really busy at the end and it took a while to get our check. It's an elegant spot to grab a drink, although small. Food (N/A): While there are expensive items on the menu, I had dinner earlier that night so I was on a liquid diet. Drinks (3/5): Bar No. 3 is known for its cocktails so I focused on the cocktail list. The list isn't large but it features a nice selection. Like the food, you're going to pay a premium. I enjoyed my adult beverage but felt like it was a bit overpriced. Hitting up hotel bars isn't a common occurrence in Houston unless you're a traveler. For Bar No. 3 to be the only hotel bar on Houstonia's top 50 is a feat in itself.
