Let's start with how cute this place is! It looks small from the outside but it's huge on the inside. The staf was very friendly and the ambience was very cute! I ordered an avocado toast and an iced caramel latte. The latte was strong which is appreciated and the avocado toast was good but not the best out there. Can't wait to visit to try the other things on their menu

Fish tacos - Nicely done - one can substitute the chips for other size (may be an upsize minor charge)

A nice place to come for a reasonably priced lunch and you can eat healthy. Place your order at counter and they'll bring it to you. The food is consistently very good and the service is great. They also have specialty coffees. Ample parking in this large Kroger strip center. They open at 7 AM and they have a breakfast menu that goes through lunch.

Overall, my breakfast experience at Adair was pretty good. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive and kind. I ordered the Farmer's Market Skillet, which was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked eggs, fresh greens, and just the right amount of flavor. I switched the sausage for turkey bacon and requested for over hard eggs. The black beans I ordered on the side were also really tasty and well seasoned. The misses for me were the biscuit, which tasted more like plain bread with chicken and a side of honey, and the coffee, which unfortunately didn't have much flavor. But aside from that, everything else was good. If I could I would give a 3.5/5 rating.

Food at Adair Kitchen is consistently good and service always prompt & friendly. The space is airy and comfortable. My only gripe this time is that now two eggs à la carte which we often add to our pancakes/carby breakfast order, is SIX dollars, before tax & gratuity? I just find that excessive!

My girls and I came here for lunch and happy hour, and we had a great time! The place looked clean and fancy from the outside, and the inside was even more beautiful. It was nicely decorated with a stunning wine-filled bar area. We visited on a Wednesday and lucked out with their half-off wine bottle special. Our waitress' name was Christine and she took care of us at the bar and was super sweet and helpful with food and drink recs. We started with the Dulcis Moscato d'Asti, which we all rated a 10/10--sweet and easy to drink. Our second bottle was the Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling. I personally liked it and would give it a 8/10, but it was a bit dry for the rest of my friends. For Appetizer: -Hummus w/ bread- 10/10. There were mushrooms, olive oil, and pomegranate on top of the hummus. Everything paired very well with the warm pita bread. -Brussels sprouts- 10/10. The sprouts had a great crispy, smoky flavor. Very delicious. For Entrées: - Gemelli pasta- 7/10. Flavorful but too oily and cheesy. It felt very heavy after a few bites. - Nashville hot chicken sandwich - 4/10. Not that crispy, and the fries were stale. -Skillet sirloin- 4/10. It came out very rare instead of medium rare, and the fries again were stale. Christine surprised us with a complimentary "Cucumber Mint Cocktail", super refreshing and a definite 10/10. I would return for the vibes, customer service, appetizers, and the wine special!

I was there with a group of folks. Christine was kind enough to give me happy hour price on a Mid Lane Margarita though it was about 6:02 p.m. Cocktails are $2 off during happy hour. There is no discount on wine. I wish there were. The discount is not that "Happy." Some folks ordered dinner from the Houston Restaurants' Week menu. They shared their appetizers which were delicious. The crispy brussels, hummus, and the aged cheddar dip were delicious. I ordered a Baja Caesar salad. I didn't care for it too much. The croutons are made with sweet cornbread. And the salad had chili flakes. I didn't eat the croutons. Dessert was shared too. The lemon ice box was to die for. Christine was gracious to give us separate checks.

    Honey butter chicken biscuit

Food was below average, definitely not worth the $40 I spent. Below is the $10 honey chicken biscuit. I had to track down an employee in the restaurant to express my disappointment with the serving size. They also messed up another order in my party. Wouldn't recommend for a flavorable and unique breakfast/lunch.

I went to Adair for the first time this week and i loved it so much! The place is beautiful, very spacious, bright, and open. There's plenty of seating inside and outside, and great service. It's in a cute shopping center so you won't have to fight for a parking spot. Also can be a good spot to study too as they have outlets around the booth areas! Fresh fish tacos: 8.8/10 - SO good. Fish tasted fresh and they were seasoned very nicely - I substituted the original side to sweet potato fries. The server told me several side options that I could have, so just ask them if you want something else! The fries were crispy on the outside but so fluffy on the inside. I can't wait to take my family and friends here and Adair is definitely one of my new favorite spots for brunch!

I love coming here for breakfast. The food and drinks are always good. Customer service is always great as well!!! There is plenty of seating inside and on the patio. They also have a nice size bar. We had the French toast, American breakfast and tacos. As well as a mimosa and the beet juice. The beet juice was really good. I also tried the rancher which is a ranch water but with tequila. My friend tried the fish tacos and she said those were good as well.

Ambiance is really nice. Like decoration is cute. Order at the counter and they will deliver to your table for u. We had a salad and a crispy chicken sandwich. Both were good but nothing extravagant or extraordinary. It's a cute place to go in the busy shopping center for good food. They are in a shopping center so there was plenty of parking spaces especially on a weekday. I would say the flavors here are mild meaning it can suit anyone. For me I would have wanted some more flavors in my salad dressing for the SW salad.

My daughter and her family took us to breakfast here recently. I don't know why I waited so long to go here! The employees were so nice, the space is bright and gorgeous, and the food was delicious! I had the avocado toast, and the best latte I've ever had! I can't wait to go again!

Breakfast bowl. It also comes with prosciutto, but I don't eat meat at the moment. There is rice also hidden on the bottom.

So, I HAPPILY stumbled upon this sweet little place. I just so happened to have a doctors appt nearby and needed som brunch. Well, let me tell you this place is SUPER cute in ambiance OUTSIDE AND INSIDE. They have a small little courtyard outside and if you're trying to beat the heat, inside is just as cute, or even cuter as well. In the past two weeks I have now been three times because I LOVE their coffee and breakfast bowl. It's amazing and light to where I don't feel like I just ate a gross meal. All the ingredients are fresh and taste AMAZING. The area is lovely as well and I've always had wonderful quick service here. I hope others enjoy this place, but they have it down for breakfast and lunch. I'll have to try dinner sometime!

My first time here for breakfast! I love the space, it's so bright and open. The juice opens are great, I tried a green one. I had the farmers market skillet, which was a nice combination of healthy fresh ingredients that didn't make me feel weighed down. Would like to come back to try other breakfast items!

So we walked on over to this little speakeasy and were immediately greeted by the bouncer. On a Thursday night, it was quite crowded, but were able to find the last remaining seats at the bar. We were seated at the left end of the bar, which was nice because we had our own little "nook" away from the rest of the bar. Adjacent to us was the server station - the one server tending to the tables, Marilyn, frequently came by and we immediately befriended her. She gave us excellent recommendations and provided her opinion on several drinks. Robin was the bartender who took care of us throughout the night. She was super friendly from the moment we sat down and gave us stellar recommendations on food and drinks. She was happy to tweak a couple of their seasonal drinks to our liking, and even offered to mix other drinks that weren't on the menu. Fantastic service from Robin throughout the night. I started out with Tommy's Margarita - this was just their take on a classic margarita, nothing super special. I then ordered the Oaxacan Old Fashioned - think of an old fashioned made with tequila and mezcal in lieu of bourbon. I was a bit cautious about this one since I am not a fan of mezcal, however the smoky flavor was not very apparent in this one, which was a huge plus! I also got the Ardilla - very unique drink made with mexican corn whiskey, cocoa nibs, sherry, and a milk punch. I award this drink for most unique I've had in a while, definitely give it a try if you're up for something new. To finish, I had the Cariña - their take on an espresso martini made with reposado tequila. I really liked this espresso martini - it was a great way to finish out the night and I left feeling inspired to make my espresso martinis at home using tequila now! With the little room we had left in our stomachs, we tried the Pato Tinga Memela, which was duck leg (no bone) with beans and onions and cilantro atop a memela. I haven't had memela specifically per se, but consider me a fan. It is basically a mini "cake" of masa that is pan fried to a slight crispiness. An Oaxacan speciality, where else can I find these in Houston!? We also tried the Guacamole y Tostadas. The guacamole was unique in the sense that it was Oaxacan style, so contains pepitas, pickled onions, and queso fresco. The tostadas were super crispy and reminded me of how they serve guacamole in Mexico (rather than with chips/totopos). Fun fact is that this bar is owned by Goode Company. Next door to this is Goode Co. Cantina, so it's nice that they created an adjoining restaurant + speakeasy concept within the same strip. At one point in our visit, Levi Goode was standing next to us. We didn't know until after he left and Marilyn informed us, that that was THE man. Just doing a casual check-in of his bar. We really had a good experience at Bar Buena and look forward to returning. The food menu has quite a few offerings I wanted to try had I not come from a cooking class. We were also told that the seasonal drink menu was set to change shortly after our visit, so I look forward to trying these drinks!

We Ubered over, so I didn't pay attention to the parking situation. Ambiance (3.5/5): Five Central is big! There's a big restaurant, a cigar lounge, a huge patio, and more. While we dined at the restaurant, it seems like there's a ton to check out here. They often will host live music too as I saw some ads about it while I was in the restroom. Service (4.5/5): Our waitress was great. She was friendly, attentive, and she went above and beyond. They brought me the wrong side, and I told her it was okay, but she ended up bringing me the right side a few minutes later. Which meant my meal had three sides instead of the two it came with. I really appreciated that! Drinks (4/5): Five Central has a good list of cocktails and more, but I wasn't in the mood for alcohol, so I went with a Shirley Temple lol. That brought me back. One of my favorite beverages as a kid. They were out of maraschino cherries, but we made it work. Food (4/5): We started off by splitting the coconut curry wings and the parmesan chicken bites. Out of the two appetizers, the chicken bites were my favorite. They were fried just right, crispy, while still tender inside. The sauce smothered on top made the dish. The wings, on the other hand, while flavorful, were a bit small. Still good though. With that being said, the star of the evening was my entree: the fried chicken. Fried chicken is either going to be a hit or a miss... here, it's definitely a hit. Crispy and well-seasoned on the outside, juicy and tender inside. Served with a sweet hot sauce, Texas toast, and your choice of two sides. I went with fries and mashed potatoes. The sides were just as good. The mashed potatoes were a buttery heaven and the fries were crisp and you could tell they weren't frozen. It's a generous portion size, too! I ate half and took the rest to-go. The space is visually striking, layered, and honestly just a cool place to sit, soak it in, and be part of the scene. It feels like something Anthony Bourdain would've paused to appreciate that raw, curated vibe that promises more than just a meal. We ordered a spread: chicken wraps, fried chicken, a couple of Ketel One drinks, and finished things off with red velvet cake and bread pudding. On paper, it reads like a lineup that should hit. In reality, it landed somewhere in the middle. Nothing was bad but nothing really sang either. The fried chicken had the right idea but didn't quite deliver that crave-worthy punch. The wraps were fine, the desserts decent, and the drinks did their job. It all felt... acceptable. Like the kitchen understood the assignment but didn't fully commit to it. What stood out most was the contrast the menu is ambitious, the atmosphere pulls you in, but the food doesn't quite translate that same energy to the plate. It's the kind of place you want to love more than you actually do. That said, it's still a solid spot to check out, especially for the vibe and the experience. Just don't walk in expecting fireworks think more along the lines of a slow burn. Overall, I'd call it a decent restaurant that leans more on its aesthetic than its execution.

Regarding the food, the Frisée Salad was pretty good, well dressed and flavorful. The chicken sandwich was okay. The batter was crispy and flaky but it had no flavor. What made it a lot better was the coleslaw that brought a great deal of tang and moisture. The steak was not quite for me. It came on a bed of sauce that was flavorful with fresh veggies but it did not go well with the steak. Perhaps chicken would've suited better. The steak itself was dry and quite chewy. For dessert we had the carrot cake tres leches which was decent. The carrot cake flavor was there but the moisture from the cake was not fully spread in the cake.
