Due to the weekend turnout, the food took quite a while to come out (45 minutes or so) and with very little update from anyone. We got the burrata brunch appetizer, chilaquiles, and salmon avocado toast. The Avocado toast took another 10 minutes to come out after everything else did with the reason being "we're still plating it". I'm no chef, but I wasn't exactly impressed with the plating of salmon tossed haphazardly onto the toast and plate. Taste for everything was just "okay" despite touting farm fresh ingredients and everything being made "in-house". The others at my table had a slightly better experience with their dishes, but overall it was a bit of a letdown (despite how good things looked in the photos). I wouldn't be so critical if it weren't for the fact there are so many other great restaurants in the area and in Houston as well. Maybe it was just a busy day and I would be open to giving it another shot, but ultimately, I would try somewhere else if I wanted a cozy brunch spot. As opposed to most other places now-days that have post-COVID and inflation high prices with smaller portions, BC large portions make you feel like you are actually getting your money's worth. The interior is somewhat upscale as in keeping with similar restaurants in the area. On a Monday around 6:00-6:30 for dinner there was good business, but it was not overcrowded and was only moderately noisy. While 2-3 people helped us, our main server was Danielle and she did a great job.
