I really enjoyed my visit to Travelers table! It was easy to make a reservation online in advance. They have only valet parking. The restaurant has a nice open vibe to it plenty of indoor seating in a smaller patio outside as well. I liked the different options on the menu, many different flavor profiles, and combinations coming together so that you experience cuisine and spices from around the world from your dining experience. Our server did a good job of providing recommendations and telling us a little bit of background on the restaurant, which was very nice. They have a great cocktail menu as well as some options to get some flights for margaritas and other drinks. I tried the our little Havana, which was very tasty and refreshing. I also had the travelers's table board, which was good. The appetizers were really delicious! We tried the crab samosas, which were very tasty and also the guava empanadas were a must try! Definitely a good place to go for brunch or during your trip in Houston.
10/10 experience. From the complimentary valet parking, to the nice waiter , and the food was amazing! Now, it was pretty busy in there so make sure to have a reservation. Started off with the crab Samosas that paired really well with the mango sauce. Can't remember the name of the mocktail I ordered, but it has passion fruit in it. It was pretty good but honestly the price for a mocktail vs a cocktail was a 4 dollar difference. Better off with just getting their lemonade which was also good . The watermelon lemonade to be exact . For my entree, I had the Caribbean oxtails. Now, the flavor wasn't Jamaican style oxtails , but it was still pretty good. This dish was savory and sweet. I truly liked how the oxtails fell straight off the bone , so no need to use your hands (IYKYK). Ended the night with their vanilla , cinnamon and ube ice cream. The ube was by far my favorite but all were delightful.
Everything was absolutely AMAZING. Complimentary valet, we had no reservation but walked in for sunday brunch and were seated immediately, superb staff/service and delicious food!! Hugeee portions for the price too Our favorite was definitely the korean fried rice though. It was so, so flavorful and the meat was so tender 10/10 Huevos a la mexicana was solid but a little simple 7/10 We also got the japanese mushroom toast but i didnt get a pic. It was hugee and pretty good but again kinda simple 7/10 And the ube pancakes were sooooo good and fluffy but crispy on the bottom. Not too much ube flavor but it comes with a nice coconut cream sauce! Would get again 8.5/10 Overall ambiance was amazing too. Nice outdoor seating and good vibes all around. Loved it all, would come back!
Jack of all trades, master of none. Especially the Asian food. The dishes weren't bad but the pad see ew was not complex at all. Only tasted salt. Would be fine if it were $15, but was expecting much more for $30. I got this before the unfortunate situation with the owners so I'm not sure how things have changed.
I've been to travelers cart several times. I've actually only visited traveler's table for cocktails and to go food. I actually did an in person visit this time for dinner on Sunday. Just a note they close at 2:30 and reopen again at five for dinner service...some of the brunch items like the crab samosas and the oxtail empanadas are on both menus (dinner and brunch) The crab samosas are amazing. I wish I had more even at this moment. Everyone is always so welcoming and helpful here....Everyone but the rude ass valet drivers outside. I mentioned to my dining mate who arrived before me how rude the guys were. He told me that he got into it with them also and another person almost got into a fight with them Having a nasty attitude and expecting a tip for a free service is crazy to me. So it's wasn't just me they just have attitude. They also had attitude when I went before for drinks.
Complementary valet parking is nice, the lot is small so if everyone had to park themselves it would be hard. Good sized eating area, with a small bar section maybe 8-10 people. The drink and food menu has a alot of selections. Started with the come and take it cocktail and espresso martini. The come and take it was nice cause it wasn't harsh but a little sweet. The espresso was a lighter version more of a flavored coffee than a strong coffee taste. We got the butter chicken, crab fried rice and the ribs. The butter chicken was bomb I heard and the ribs were flavorful and moist. The crab fried rice was a huge portion, soft shell crab was fried perfect and the egg topped was a nice touch. The old fashioned try is legit, pretty much get 3 full old fashioned for the price of 2. Overall wish we tried some apps but definitely somewhere I would go back.
Still amazing food - valet available but street parking if you don't mind waking a few blocks. Nice open patio that is covered which was helpful during the rain tonight. Music was fine and not too loud. Helpful waitstaff. Pluses 1. Good drinks (spiced trader, Oaxaca chocolate, expresso martini) and good food like short rib and adobo snapper 2. Bread pudding Areas to improve None Short rib was good quality and quantity and very rich flavor that accompanied well with polenta and heirloom carrots. Weather was cool and we had the patio to ourselves this Sunday evening. Highly recommended!
Have been here a few times, and every time has been a great experience. Their brunch and dinner menus are different, and this time we opted for their dinner menu! We came on a Wednesday which was their oysters night and got the Roasted Japanese Miso Oysters which were delicious! My main entree was the Nigerian Suya Skewers with Jollof Rice, and wow!!! I really loved the flavor. Something different and I felt like was a perfect amount for me. Ended it off with a yummy basque cheesecake! Really love the food here and the diverse dishes they offer.
It was ok, I get what they were aiming for but the flavors were a little off, except for the crab carbonara. Our table also ordered the pao de quiejo, the pork belly, and the oxtail. Comes with a sticker shock/ pricey tab. Our server was quick to take our order and clear our used items. It was a very busy Saturday night but they kept churning orders.
It was a decent experience for a dear friend's birthday. 4 of us dined on the patio. The service was pretty good but not great. My water was never refilled but he did bring out food quickly. We ordered the provoletta cheese appetizer which was tasty. Imagine melted provolone cheese with peppers and a dollop of pesto. It was served with toasted bread. I'd get it again. The hummus with brisket. The hummus was good and the brisket was good. It was a good shareable appetizer. The snapper ponchatrain was delicious. I wish it was a larger potion of fish. I would order this again. The blue crab carbonara was delicious and decadent with si egg yolk mixed in. I would get this again too. The truffles flatbread was meh. I didn't care for it. They brought 3 scoops of dessert for my friend's birthday. Ube, vanilla, and matcha. It was ok. The bread pudding that we ordered was very sweet but tasty. I love the whole thing of travelers's table. I've been there twice now and it never disappoints. It's a great spot for brunch. The party I was with was vegetarian, and we split the meals together. We ordered lamb shaksuka and substituted the lamb with tofu. It was super flavorful and served with bread. Inside the shaksuka, there was a boiled egg, crumbed cheese, and cherry tomatoes topped with parsley. For those of you who have never tried this, think of a flavorful tomato soup, that you split over bread. We had also ordered the Ube pancakes, and the Ube pancakes were really famous for this location. I feel like I see online all the time showcasing these pancakes. There was a citrus, whipped cream, with fruit, Boba pearls and a caramel sauce drizzle. My only complaint about the pancakes were that they were dry without the drizzle. I wish that there was more moisture inside, overall the flavors were really balanced. They offer many drinks - alcoholic, mocktails as well as lattes. There's a versatile drink menu. Service was fast, and our waitress consistently checked up on us. The interior of the restaurant was also very fun and modern with glass panels for natural lighting. I would recommend you make a reservation online on the weekend because it gets very packed. When you pull up on the street, the lot is very small. There is valet parking offered, but remember to carry some cash with you. The valet is very friendly, and they handle everything pretty fast in the parking lot. But, if you don't want to use valet, there are more locations for street parking in the Westheimer neighborhoods. I parked around a four minute walk away in one of the neighborhoods behind the restaurant.
This place is definitely a must try if you can. The restaurant and staff are very nice. I had an upcoming flight so I brought my luggage and they were able to hold on to it for me while I enjoyed my meal. Their menu has a good amount options to pick from. Salmon Tartare bites were great. The mix was subtle yet you can taste everything as well and a nice crunch from the rice. Soft shell crab fried rice. First the presentation was amazing having little crabs on the plate. It tasted great. A lot of crab flavor in this dish from the chips and the rice and the small fried crabs. The small fried crabs were very salty though.

It starts with the unique "ski lodge" type of architecture on the outside, and tasteful travel inspired decor on the inside. Service was great, and you could tell the servers enjoy working there. The food is also travel inspired, and there really is something for everyone on the menu. I believe this would be a great place to bring a group, and everyone could order plates from "around the world" and share the choices. We did brunch, and the drinks were complex and unique flavors, and my meal was jerk chicken and waffles, which I have never seen that particular combo anywhere else but here. The waffles were light and fluffy, the butter had a welcome hint of sweet, and the jerk chicken was spicy, but in a warm spicy way, and not a painful hot way. Didn't leave much left for a picture because it was that good. Being a GLP-1 person it was awesome to have options with the small plate menu. The middle eastern Lamb Kufta was amazing paired with the watermelon salad. I was able to finish all my meal something I have not done in months. Gonna start off with the one single solitary bad, and then move on to all the good. Bad - valet was kinda rude. I wasn't aware it was only valet parking in their parking lot so I pulled in and parked. A few minutes passed and a guy walked over and knocked on my window and told me this was valet only. So I asked him "ok so if you don't wanna do valet where do you park". Guy couldn't have cared less and said "I don't know the street?" I just found his demeanor off putting and rude. He needs to work on his talking skills to people. Anyway.... beyond that - my husband and I are from Austin but we're visiting the area because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided here as the place to eat. We are both vegetarian and they have adequate veg options. I started with the watermelon lemonade and then eventually got a jasmine tea. We got the corn soup and the grilled bread and cheese plate as an appetizer (apologies I don't remember the exact name off the top of my head). For our entrees, both my husband and I got a Latin America dish. It was a pepper with cashew cream and quinoa, a chimichurrin sauce, etc. it was FANTASTIC. They don't skimp on the veg plates and I really appreciate that! Especially when a place isn't entirely only plant based focused. This place really take pride in their food and it shows. I watched a chef plate a meal (from my seat, I could see the kitchen) and he was so locked in and meticulous about it. We were checked up on constantly, our waters never ran out, and our waitress was so cool and down to earth. We tipped her well. At the end, our waitress brought us out two complimentary champagne flutes as a congratulations for our wedding anniversary. It was unexpected but so sweet! We really enjoyed it. We both left this place happy and very full. Def worth a visit if you're in the area!! read more
My husband and I were so excited for our date night so we could experience TT. It was an amazing experience. We loved the concept of trying different cuisines from all over the world. We tried a little of everything starting with he crab samosas, and crispy pork belly. I will have to say the crab samosas were our least favorite despite it being their top seller. We didn't really care for the curry aspect, it over powered the crab. Our favorite was the crispy pork belly! We tried the Suya, red snapper, bone marrow and Mexican chocolate cake. Everything was delicious! The service was amazing. We will definitely be back! read more

My husband and I came here for a much-needed date night. We've been to their sister restaurant a few times before and is our first time here at their upscale one. We had a wonderful waiter and gave us a lot of recommendation. But the treatment kind of fell off towards the end when he was held up by a huge party for a good while to the point where we changed our mind about desserts and after dinner drinks and had to go. The cocktail "come and take it" was balance and flavorful. The crab samosa is a hit. It is crammed with crab stuffing. It is amazing and you get two different kind of dipping sauce with it, Tartar and butter. This was the first that any restaurant has ever done for us, but they actually split our soup in half for us so what's pictured is the half the soup. The duck pad Thai was amazing!!! I wish I had that instead. I had the Caribbean braised oxtail. I wasn't a big fan. I felt like I was tasting more of the sauce and carbs. I asked for the mango and spices on the side. The mango was a nice plate cleanser in between bites. The ambience was really nice , definitely upscale compared to their Travis's Carr location and something that you should dress up for. This is good for a nice formal celebration dinner or date dates. Or fancy Bestie night. There is complementary valet at the front. They have a sign that says do not park across the street. read more

Travels Table absolutely delivered an incredible dining experience from start to finish. Aiden was our server, and he was phenomenal, attentive, knowledgeable, warm, and on point the entire time. He made great recommendations and ensured everything came out perfectly timed. I ordered the Louisiana fried chicken, and wow crispy on the outside, juicy and packed with bold Southern flavor on the inside. The seasoning was spot on and the crunch was everything you want in fried chicken. My wife had the crawfish and grits, which were rich, creamy, and loaded with flavor. The crawfish was fresh and tender, and the grits were smooth and comforting without feeling too heavy. We also split the Japanese mushroom toast with shiitake peppers and smoked salmonand this dish was next level. The earthy mushrooms, subtle heat from the peppers, and smoky salmon created an incredible balance of flavors. Creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Between the amazing food, inviting atmosphere, and Aiden's top-tier service, Travels Table is definitely a must visit. We'll absolutely be back. read more
There's complimentary valet but it can get busy. Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The service was great and the menu had a nice range of options. It's family friendly but not too loud or hectic and the server gave great recommendations. Kept it simple w/ a breakfast plate. Wasn't a fan of the sausage but everything else was tasty and it was a good portion. Def will come back and Try more read more

Very interesting concept. We had the lobster Benedict, the chilaquiles with duck, the waffles and chicken with biscuits and eggs. Overall the food has great taste. The service was good, attention to detail and willing to accommodate to some request on food preparation. The ambiance is nice, elegant and clean concept. read more

have lived here for seven months and my move-in inventory things to work on has still not been done! The manager Teresa, told me that she was going to find me another apartment that would fit my needs back in January 2026, After I moved in. I unfortunately signed a 12 month lease and it is now August 2026 and I still have not been moved to another apartment. The apartment next to me which is the larger apartment, that the manager, Teresa told me she was looking for for me to move into, has now had two new tenants in it within the last seven months! Maintenance tells me what they're going to do to rectify and fix the things that needed to be fixed when I first moved in, but again, it still has not been done. Those are maintenance things that should've been done when I moved in back on December 27, 2025! One of the things that they were supposed to fix was to fix my bathtub, according to them, it was supposed to resurfaced. The people that came to resurface the bathtub, said that my bathtub needs to be fixed underneath the bathtub because the bathtub is actually sinking! I need a new bathtub! And underneath needs to have better wood placed underneath it, I am sure that it is rotted wood and full mold! The bathtub is also peeling and the drain hole looks like gross stuff is growing in it! My sink in the bathroom looks like I actually have a sink from an old back in the day sink from a run down old truck stop, or rest stop, or gas station sink! I feel like I live in the ghetto right next-door to NASA! There are other issues that I have been trying to get maintenance to fix in this apartment since I moved in your back in December and to this day, they have not addressed it! So, if you like to live in the ghetto next-door to NASA, this is a place to live in! I FLIPPING HATE IT!!! read more

The place is really cute to eat out with a group of friends. This location has a small lot so valet is complimentary. All the food came out fairly quickly and the service was great. All the dishes were really tasty, they could've had a little more dash of seasoning but nothing you can't out a little hot sauce on. It's nice to come here and try different cuisines from different regions. With that being said I'd give it another try if I'm feeling adventurous read more
Traveler's Table (TT) - where you're tastebuds are free to "move about the cabin", fly free, and explore a "passport" to international inspired cuisine! TT is magical. It's decadent. It's an explosion of flavors. You can take a trip without leaving the table! Beautiful. Simple. Delicious. Here at TT reservations are key. And it's best to make them in advance. You may luck up on a weekday night (like we did on a Monday) where there's plenty of time slots to pick from, but plan ahead if trying for a weekend. Parking is valet, but there is limited street parking available on the residential streets. Patio seating, bar, and indoor seating is available. I enjoyed the culture and the art displays on the wall or hanging, very nice! I've been hearing all about thus place all these years and I am just trying it. Shame on me, I can't believe what I've been missing. Shout out to our waiter Luis for his charm, knowledge and suggestions on food and drinks. He took amazing care of us, and made our experience that much more enjoyable. He suggested I try the Snapper on a bed of greens and red beans/rice which was "chef's kiss"! Absolute perfection. Served with the lightly crisped plantain that tasted like mashed potato...omg!! My friend enjoyed their short ribs and couldn't stop raving about it (I had a bite, I can see what the raving was all about. Tender and tasty). I was also recommended their award winning Flor de Amor cocktail, my friend had their bourbon flight. For dessert, Mexican Chocolate Cake. Listen! This was more than a meal, it was an experience! We had reservations for a Saturday night and it was relatively busy. They've complementary valet, which was very nice! Aesthetic of the restaurant is nice, clean and the decor is very interesting since they highlight different cultures from around the world. We were seated promptly and our server was very friendly. The drinks were absolutely fantastic! I got one of their signature cocktails, which is not only delicious but very pretty. My husband very much enjoyed his southern gentleman old-fashioned. For appetizers we ordered the Mochiko chicken. Loved the two dipping sauces that came with. One was a mango dipping sauce, which was actually very refreshing. My blue crab carbonara was yummy. Pretty impressive that one kitchen can handle so many cuisines from around the world and still retain quality like the amount of ingredients in there must be insane. Traveler's Table was great! Started with three apps. First was Hawaiian Mochiko Chicken which was fine, fried chicken, but the sauce was delish. Next, the Japanese Kaki Fried Oysters which were pretty tasty, not fishy at all! Third was the Salmon Tartare which was my favorite. So fresh and delicious, a fun small perfect bite. For the main I got Nigerian Suya Skewers which were fireeee. So tender and had a great marinade / spice to it. The two sauces on the side were equally as fire. For dessert we split the Black Sesame Lava Cake with Ube Ice Cream and this was so yum. Warm, gooey, not overly rich and the ice cream was divine. I also had a Thai Me Up cocktail which was basically alcoholic thai tea aka made for me and it was too good. First time coming here for dinner and not brunch. My boyfriend and I came on a Friday night at 8. I made a reservation earlier in the day and got one immediately. We had to wait a few minutes but not super long for a table. Austin was our server and he was amazing and super attentive. We ended up ordering a bunch of things that unfortunately ended up being super average and there wasn't anything special to it. I wish there were more vegetarian entree options, because I wasn't a fan of the one option available. I enjoyed the fries with the sauce. The dumplings were just alright in my opinion. I didn't love the flavors inside of it and it could've been better. The mochiko chicken was pretty good. The mango sauce wasn't good, but the other sauce was delicious. FINALLY checked out traveler's table and it was good, but didn't quite live up to the expectations, I'd give 3.5 stars if I could. We went for brunch and tried a variety of food and drink options and oddly enough the drinks were the star. We really liked the Hurricane mimosa, Our man in Havana, and the brunch shot flight. For apps, the mini lobster rolls were quite tasty and the guava empanadas were good but needed more filling. The best entree was definitely the fried chicken and waffles. Ube pancakes were honestly a bit dry and my Italian eggs Benedict was more sautéed spinach than anything else. Our waiter was very friendly but service was quite slow and we had to ask for the wine list three times before receiving it. They were pretty busy and the manager even came over to help at one point, which was appreciated. It was also SO hot in the restaurant. It was an unexpectedly hot day so maybe they just weren't running the A/C at a low enough temp? But I was genuinely sweating at our table. Came on a Sunday evening with my book club group. we had a reservation but I'm sure with smaller groups you could get a table. The parking lot is a pain in the butt but they have complimentary valet. we started out with some Drinks- I had a sunny place for shady people- I really liked the coconut cream and cinnamon flavors in this. Apps we had Argentinian provoleta (they didn't have pao de queijo that day) it was basically grilled cheese but with lots of flavor- a group favorite! I tried the crab samosas as well- they were OK if you like crab but our group was not big seafood fans. We all tried a bit of each others foods. The butter chicken is not the best one I've had it's a little too lemony for my liking. The dish I ordered was the Nigerian skewers- I reallyyyyy enjoyed these and would 100% order this again. The Madiera-braised beef short rib was a close second and the heirloom carrots with it was cooked perfectly! Overall the food and company was great! Our server was quick and efficient. We chose this place for our monthly gathering before the holidays. I have been here many times the food is always consistently good. I decided to try something new I got the Blue Crab Carbonara pasta . It was really delicious I normally get the Adobo snapper which is also really good. My friend got the crab fried rice I loved the way they plated it. Everyone enjoyed their food we will definitely be back. It's a repeat place for me I haven't lived in Houston long, but I've been here multiple times. Our server I wish I could remember his name, but he was excellent. I was excited to try this place on my recent trip to Houston. I attended for their weekend brunch. The overall experience was okay but I was not impressed with the food. I got the breakfast board which came with grits, eggs, bacon, a guava empanada, and fruit. Everything was pretty good but the plate was $25. I found it to be expensive for the amount of food. The side of fruit was not enough even for a child to feel full. My mom got crab samosas and the grits on the side. The crab samosas were not very good either. We both gave them a 5/10 respectively. The highlight of the meal were the grits and bacon. I wouldn't recommend this place. Also keep in mind they have valet parking on site, you cannot park your car on your own. The restaurant tries to provide an upscale experience but low quality food. Perhaps there are other things on the menu that are better. read more

Fairly quiet. We were able to hear conversations at nearby tables ( unfortunately).

Yes. Worth a try. Nice craft cocktails.

Walk-ins are available, however for brunch this place is typically crowded. Sitting at the bar is always an open seating option.
Is this a kid friendly restaurant?
I went for brunch on a Saturday. I can't say I recall seeing children but I don't think you're not allowed to bring them. Just more of an adults environment.

I would say nice casual. There is a bar, about 8 seats (unsure if you can order food). Reservations are highly recommended - especially for the weekends.
