Quaint vibe inside. What I most appreciated about my meal was it had a different flavor profile than standard breakfast fare. The protein veggie egg scramble with eggs & veggies and chicken sausage was quite flavorful. The accompanying red sauce (not spicy just full of flavor) was a great compliment to the egg scramble. Side pancake was large. It was ok. Our server was very pleasant & helpful with the menu. Our server apologized about the delay in our food; she said we got behind several to go orders. This restaurant will get your attention the second you walk inside. The very vibrant orange colors of the decor screams "wake up" as the host gives you a friendly greeting. The breakfast options are anything but ordinary, especially the many pancake variations. I chose a classic with eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast 4/5. Their large plates are filled with food with no spaces left. Most chains do not vary much from location to location so the Stanford location isn't special. My wife and I were feeling hungry and made our way to snooze in a different location. We love snooze and food wise this place did not disappoint. What was a bit disappointing was the initial service since it took a few points and nudging from another server for us to finally get someone. Once we got our server, things went very smoothly. The vibe here is very chill and a great place to meet up with friends or hang with family. Butterfly Lemonade: 10/10.. This is a healthy lemonade. If you get it, you will understand what I mean lol. The flavor is amazing and very refreshing. French Toast Latte: 10/10... it's not too sweet and balanced just right. I appreciated the flavor. This was my second time coming to this location. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast sunny side up with the potatoes and sourdough bread. The place is small, but it's a decent size. My server was Janaya. I had my coffee until my food came. Everything tasted great, but it wasn't until I got to the end that I saw a hair mixed in within the food. It was a ginger colored hair. It couldn't have came from me because my hair was in a bun pulled back. I had been waiting for my waitress to come check on me. I flagged her down and let her know about the hair. She completely brushed it off and set my bill on the table. I paid it and left. Nobody followed up with me nor did she go get a manager. Really disappointed in the service. Had brunch last week with some ladies from my neighborhood and everyone was very pleased with the food, service and ambience! Our waiter was very friendly, patient and delivered our food promptly. He came by the table several times and asked if everything was alright and if we needed refills. Would highly recommend everyone to come try out their new dishes. My food was good. Had the classic breakfast with scrambled egg whites, chicken sausage, crisp hash browns. My friend had the sweet potato veggie smash dish but was not satisfied. I felt the portion was small. She felt it needed more mushrooms. Service was friendly and quick. The restaurant was a little noisy but conversation was possible and it was very clean. Definitely put yourself on the waitlist. What a great option. There was a 10-15 minute wait for a 2-top but we were on the waitlist so our wait was 2 minutes. Nice! The 2-tops are definitely built for narrow shouldered humans. My broad shouldered husband was hanging over the edge of his seat. Our server, Hannah, was helpful. I ordered from the $12 drink & entree menu. She answered all my questions and changed my order when I changed my mind (before order was sent). She did make a noticeable unpleasant face when I informed her my chicken sausage was way overcooked and dry. I very nicely told her I'd pay for a new patty but I wouldn't eat this one. She brought me a new patty----much better I ordered blackberry mint limeade and protein & veggie egg white scramble. I love that they have high protein, low calorie options. Hubs ordered the blood orange drink and the trio omelette. Our drinks ---Blackberry Mint Limeade and Blood Orange Punch were really good. The blackberry drink has fresh blackberries crushed in it, it's lightly sparkling and a perfect balance of sweet fruit & tart lime. The blood orange drink is equally nice but more tart forward. The eggs in both of our dishes were very flavorful. Definitely a strength of the cooks. The avocado had a big brown spot, see pic and the eggs had onions which weren't in the description. The potatoes/hash browns were bland and the bread had no butter and looked as if it was waved across the heat. I say bread because it definitely wasn't toasted. The kitchen's timing was off. I really dislike when entrees are not brought out together. There was a significant space of time between mine & my husband's meals arriving. I was halfway done with my meal by the time his arrived. I couldn't wait for him or my meal would be cold when his arrived. Definitely a restaurant 101 fail. The restaurant was clean. There was a nice patio, too. I guess I could call it a "hip" breakfast joint. My Gen-Z'er of a cousin wanted to eat here. She said "we have to try it". I can see why. They got coffee beverages, and alcohol as well. I'd come back here to try out more of the menu. Hopefully the coffee is a little stronger next time. Or I can order an espresso. Always adapt and overcome. I got the Bread Pudding French Toast, and it was pretty damn good. The menu itself is a big reason. I'd come back. If this item was "banging", I'm sure the rest of the menu is pretty "lit". Snooze has a lively and fun atmosphere. There is an expansive breakfast menu, with lots of healthy drinks, as well as "adult beverages". The food was a "nicely elevated" twist on American Diner food. The Breakfast burrito was full of flavor, with a generous portion size. The avocado toast had a nice presentation, and a healthy side of mixed greens salad. The bad news: It was a holiday weekend, and the staff seemed overwhelmed, the service was relatively slow, and our food arrived cold. (I asked them to re-warm my plate and it was pretty good after that) I plan to go back, on a less busy day, and I am sure the service will be better, and I bet the food will be great when it's served hot. read more

Packed with flavor,the egg/meat ratio is perfect and the crispy potatoes makes great balance with the saltiness of the meat. We all know coffee makes or breaks the deal and I'm happy to report their cappuccinos are strong and will enhance the meal. Service in this location has always been slow . I get it, it's Snooze AM, but y'all, this place was terrible compared to the one by I-10. There's no comparison between food service and timeliness. I was excited when my coworker, who is picky about food, said, " Yeah, go." I went, and I was like, y'all lost your mind. First, they didn't recognize the stupid app, which I 10 does. I sat ahead to hold a table, and they still made me wait because they were like...oh, you know...sometimes the internet or app doesn't work. So, I showed them my app. Oh...these people were waiting. Then what's the point of downloading the app when all the advertisements say use it to save a table and skip the line? Even the advertisement at their restaurant. Next, the food. It took forever. Like forever. We did not order complicated orders, we didn't do anything that would have been complicated, and by the time we got our food, the food was meh, but I was cranky and hungry. I ordered my favorite lavender latte, but the waiter didn't come by to ask for a refill, which would have been extra money for the restaurant. I was stuck drinking nothing for the rest of the meal. Our waiter would disappear or entertain new tables and leave again. Maybe everyone is impressed with Snooze's menu and unique options, but if you need a pleasant Snooze experience, skip this one and visit the one off of I-10 instead. And for a Stafford restaurant in the grid, they've got to do better. Definite skip. read more

I've been to a few other Snooze locations around Texas but this was the most disappointed visit so far. Want to give the benefit of the doubt and say since they've only been opened for a few weeks, they haven't been in practice enough yet. Our party of two visited on a Friday afternoon after the typical lunch rush. There was only one waitress working all the tables so I understand the slow paced, but while there were other servers helping her, it was still slow. Food came out slowly too given only a few tables were occupied. We ordered the Smashed Avocado Benny and the Crab Cake Benedict along with one Blueberry pancake. I was mainly impressed with the pancake, not super Wow-ed by the benedicts. Last note is that even though it wasn't too busy, they took out trash and recycling through the front door while we were eating. Not a great vibe while we were eating our meal. Would hope for a better redemption round next visit since I usually enjoy my Snooze experiences. read more

Snooze is a very good chain and typically when I visit I am never disappointed EXCEPT this last time I was highly disappointed in the customer service. My friend and I ordered the same thing and while it looked good, it was SO SO dry! Shrimp and Grits is NOT supposed to be a dry dish. Its creamy and the roux is what makes it not dry. When our food came, the cook actually brought it out to us and she wasn't very pleased with our reaction to the taste of it. Her exact comment was "I made it the way it was supposed to me made. Do you want me to change it?" in a very demeaning tone. My friend and I both felt uncomfortable but did tell her "yes, its a bit dry". . .she took it back and came out with it once more and guess what, still dry :( I've had this dish at the other locations and it was not like this!! Unfortunately, I doubt I'll be back to this location. Customer service to me is everything. read more

The restaurant is alongside other restaurants, and shares a big parking lot with those eateries. Snooze has an orangey outdoor patio that could not be missed when one drives by. The interior, like other Snooze restaurants, is very bright and inviting. The menu had all the essential breakfast food and drinks. I had Parmesan-Panko Crab Cake Benedict with spiced hot chai tea. The crab cake Benedict was prettily presented. The ingredients were fresh, and the dish as a whole was uplifting and bright. The food was so good. For the chai tea, options were hot or iced, spiced or sweet. The spiced hot chai tea was strong and perfectly spiced. I tried the strawberry shortcake pancake too, and it was very good. The pancake was fluffy but wasn't overly sweet. The staff were friendly and courteous. Every dining experience at Snooze had been cheerful and amazing. read more
