Chilaquiles with birria on top and both red and green sauce mix
Tan N.

Man I've been here so many times and told so many people about their chilaquiles. But Jesus Christ the service has gone down hill. It took nearly an hour for an order of chilaquiles and a torta to come out. It was not as busy as it usually is either. It got to the point that I put my number up front of our table to get someone's attention. I then heard our number being called in the back kitchen and it still took longer. I noticed our table was not the only one. No server even waited on us and let us know about delay or say anything. Just dropped our food off without utensils and left. Probably won't be back for a while after such service. Honestly lost my appetite and didn't enjoy my meal.

This is a legit breakfast spot. Don't let the strip mall feel change your mind. Its order at the counter and have a seat type of place. The chilaquiles are amazing. And dont forget the coffee with a hint of cinnamon. If you want a friendly staff, great food and a family friendly atmosphere this is your spot

What a breakfast! This hidden gem nestled somewhere on Murphy Rd in Stafford TX is a must for quality home cooked food! It was busy and bustling for breakfast the morning we were there. But not chaotic. Staff are efficient and pleasant. They do not sacrifice one for the other. Their primary concern is clearly delivering a home cooked meal that makes you smile! Wake up. Work hard. Eat Tacos. The food cannot be described. It can only be experienced. Try it soon yourself! This is definitely a place we will revisit to complete the menu! Bonus points: not pretentious and valid napkin dispensers! (You're gonna appreciate that more after you visit!)

We've been searching for a good brunch place with great, quality ingredients in the sugar land area, and this place is it! We came for the breakfast, and it didn't disappoint. Everything was so good and flavorful, and even though we went more Mexican, the traditional options looked incredible. I'm definitely going back for lunch too! Everyone's tacos looked so good there. The coffee options weren't a lot, but we got the caramel iced coffee and it was sweet and creamy. Service was extremely friendly and quick. Everything came out fresh. The restaurant itself is a cute mom and pop place that has a clean, modern feel. I can't recommend this place enough. If it had a chicken and waffles option, I don't think I'd go anywhere else.

B AM cocina is a small and inviting authentic Mexican eatery that proved to be a delightful stop for breakfast. My wife opted for the Jamón / Huevo tacos, which she clearly enjoyed. I, went with the classic Americano breakfast with sausage, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. While not what I intended to order I just couldn't resist and it was a satisfying meal. A surprise highlight was the coffee, which was amazingly good and crucial for starting the day right! What truly stood out, however, was the friendly and welcoming staff, who made the experience even more pleasant. Having seen the chilaquiles on the menu, which looked incredibly tempting, we're already planning a return visit for breakfast tomorrow to give them a try. B AM cocina offers a genuine taste of Mexican hospitality and a solid breakfast menu. If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere and good food to kickstart your day, this is the place.

I'm such a huge fan of TJ Birria as is, I didn't realize they had this spot! I'm so glad I got to try it out. This was the old stomping grounds where TJ Birria all started if not mistaken. Great to see how they kept this location and added a twist to it. Cute and small in there. Enough seating also. Menu is on the walls plus on paper at the cash register. I ordered their chilaquiles with cecina, the Centro Americano dish, and lastly their concha french toast. My drinks were a agua fresca de limón con pepino preparado and caramel iced coffee. The chilaquiles came as half salsa roja and salsa verde. Both were great but the green was on the spicier side which I enjoyed a lot. The meat great nothing crazy and seasoned with a lot of spices. The Centro Americano reminded of home. So basic yet tasty! For their french toast concha it was a hit. I was surprised that it was cut up and cooked I'm assuming on the flat top with the egg wash. I had no complaints about any of the dishes. Service was great and quick, can't wait to come back!

Total $17 Stopped in for Sunday brunch. Coffee was great nice traditional Mexican hint of cinnamon flavor. I had the mini pancakes and a side of bacon. Can't complain:) The only thing I will advise is know what you going order before your arrive. You walk in order and pay at the counter and find a seat. The restaurant is pretty small I was party of one but if you have a large family or go with a ground you may be waiting outside. So just know that going in. That being said the place was clean the server was nice and I'll be back There is more in the menu I want to try!

The menu is small but good options. The location is small but clean and cute decor. Friendly and attentive staff. The food is good. The chilaquiles are spicy so just be aware if you don't like spicy food. We came back for the machacado de birria it was good but had big chunks of onions, next time we will know to ask for the small chop ones. I ordered the Central American one and it was good just wish the plantain was more ripped. Definitely recommend. Best time to come early bc seating is limited.

Beef Gordita

Stopped in here for brunch and what a great experience! It's an order and sit yourself restaurant so it was a little long to order, find a table (it's a small space) and then wait for food. But it was worth it! The beef Gordita was so good! Then we had the mini pancakes with strawberries and Nutella, they were so yummy! Birria chilaquiles were a little spicy but good! Would come back just for the Gorditas.

The restaurant was cute and they were busy, but also super attentive and friendly when ordering! My husband wanted beans/cheese tacos but they weren't on the menu and they still made them for him! I got the mini pancakes, the pictures on here actually encouraged me to go here! I wasn't disappointed, whenever I visit sugarland again I know where to go!

Beef street tacos

We tried B AM Cocina via UberEats. They had BOGO deals for their Chilaquiles Divorciados and Street tacos. So, we had to try them out. The Chilaquiles were delicious. We enjoyed the marinated tortilla chips with cheese and both their salsa verde and salsa roja sauces. The hot sauces provided added such a great kick as well. Their sunny side up eggs and refried beans were so good mixed in with the tortillas. The whole dish was very filling. But, we made room for their street tacos with corn tortillas. We ordered beef in our tacos, which was kind of dry. Next time, I think we'll order our tacos with their birria meat to add some moisture to the tacos. Overall, we really enjoyed the food here and will definitely order from them again. UPDATE: Definitely get the Chilaquiles divorciados with birria meat!! The birria meat is juicy and flavorful compared to just the beef.

Cute place with a heartwarming backstory. Nice and busy for brunch on a Saturday morning!…read more I got the scrambled eggs with chorizo and onions and it was DELISH. Also came with a biscuit and jam, which were average - the biscuit tasted like it might have been from a box or mix rather than scratch? But not sure. My friend got the Oliver's breakfast which was a large portion, and she also got a blueberry pancake, which was packed full of blueberries and had a nice crispy edge. She also ordered hot tea and got to choose her tea bag from a lovely box, which was a cute touch. The only thing I might say is that the owner was a bit brusque/gruff. I understand being businesslike and I know customers can be a pain in the food industry, but his attitude was just not very welcoming I suppose. Still a good experience overall though! It contains balsamic marinated mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, feta whip...all on what I think is an herb focaccia. This time, the balsamic was so prominent, I couldn't eat it. I would definitely come back to order that one. I think I'm gonna have to steer clear of the other, due to inconsistency

The toasted yolk had a very pleasant atmosphere and our server was absolutely fantastic. She was so friendly and explained with great detail any questions we had about the menu. We loved everything about the place. I had a simple breakfast consisting of two eggs over medium, a hashbrowns casserole which was so yummy. Three nice thick pieces of bacon and a biscuit with butter and jelly. I asked for honey for the biscuit and was accommodated. We even loved the mugs they serve their coffee in and actually bought one to take home with us. The menu was varied and had some unique items on it. She helped the table behind us, in front of us, and even next to us but never once came up to us to even acknowledge us. She just stood there, fixing bottles, made eye contact with me and still chose to pay us no mind. We felt discriminated against considering the fact that she helped every other table but us. I asked for the manager and let her know how we sat there for 20 minutes before anyone greeted/acknowledged us and as an apology we got donuts. I paid attention to every single person who sat down after us and witnessed the difference of how they were being treated compared to us and it just validated how we felt, uncomfortable and awful. We will never go back and if you can take anything from this review, try somewhere else.
